This is a very simple project for the right person – I want you to get XML data from the Zillow API based on a user search, and return the results on a simple HTML page. Samples of both search form and HTML page attached.

The search form should take a US house address like “340 N Oakhurst Dr APT 206 Beverly Hills, CA 90210″ and search that address via the Zillow API – more info here: http://www.zillow.com/howto/api/GetDeepSearchResults.htm

You need your ZWSID (API key) – get it here: https://www.zillow.com/webservice/Registration.htm

All server-side coding should be done in PHP.

The search should be fault-tolerant – if someone puts in an address that’s not found, display a clear English-language message (not just an error number).

Optional: Extra bonus $10 if you make the search form recognise and accept MLS number also and return correct results for that number.

Optional: Extra bonus $10 if you test input and output and ensure it’s valid xHTML and works in all major browsers (IE7,8,9, FF4/5, Chrome latest, Safari latest). (I have attached sample output but it’s not valid)

I need someone who can write a small VB.NET DESKTOP application that would read the data ( address & zip ) from an EXCEL spreadsheet and for each row it would call ZILLOW.COM database ( using the API they provide & I will provide the key ) and it would receive and parse the XML result extracting ONE data element ( ex. Year Built ) and updating the spreadsheet with that value.

I will consider bids that can show past examples of work completed with the Zillow API.

I need a programmer to develop a way for me to automate mortgage quotes and pricing. Many mortgage lenders have their own rate pricing engine and loan officers that work with those lenders are given a username and password to access those systems.

The website, www.zillow.com, is a website where borrowers can submit an application for a mortgage a receive detailed loan quotes from lenders. Those lenders have the ability to automate those quotes by using companies that have their own pricing technology. The list of these companies can be sen at http://www.zillow.com/mortgage/MortgageAPIPartners.htm

I work with a company now called BrokerBuddy that is automating the quotes for me. What they do is link zillow.com with my pricing engine through an http post. I guess the information left by the borrower in the application is then placed in the appropriate fields on the BrokerBuddy pricing engine and then the rate is generated and sent back to zillow.
