I have a Desktop PC installed with XAMPP. The installation is successful & apache works fine. I also have MySQL installed.

I then installed NetBeans IDE & configured it to use Zend Framework. (downloaded ZendFramework 1.11.10 version). I could create a PHPZendProject within NetBeansIDE. The project is created successfully.

I then copied Zend folder from framework directory to projectfolderlibrary directory. The global include path is also pointing to the folder in which Zend folder is available.

Now when I try to run the project, it does not display the home page. (index.php in public[set as webroot] is never working). I feel there is some configuration missing or .htaccess file is incorrect.

Can someone help to fix the issue & get a zend project created within Netbeans to run properly.

Note: The same project is running successfully in my dev website.

I would like to create a PHP web application using Zend Framework & Zend_PDF library. The application should be able to perform the following.

1. Simple User Registration (will be on xxx.website.com, for example)
2. Login, Session, Logout (will be on xxmembers.website.com, for example)
3. Membership Area after Login (3 column page)
4. User can upload document(s) in microsft office (.doc, .docx, .xls, .xlsx, .ppt, .pptx, .rtf, .txt), PDF format.
5. If the uploaded document is not in PDF format, then the document should be converted to PDF format. The document will be uploaded to the database.
6. After the document is uploaded, it should be displayed to the user (in middle column) with thumbnails on right column
7. The user should be able to click any thumbnail and go to that page immediately.
8. A toolbar should be displayed on top which will have the following options
a. Zoomin
b. Zoomout
c. Zoom with %
d. Add Comment – The comment will be added to the document & also added as a record in database.
e. Highlight text
f. Save document
9. The user should be able to save the document (which will save in the database).
10. In Membership Area, the user can see the list of documents uploaded as a table with
a. Document name
b. Uploaded on
c. Last worked on
d. Export
11. Clicking on any document in this table, should open the document and allow the user to perform steps 7-9.
12. Clicking Export should send the document to user to save it on disk.

Other requirements:
1. Everything should be AJAX based. So, AJAX should be integrated within Zend Framework.
2. Javascript can be used, if required.
3. Simple Tables could be used to create UI design. I would like to create professional design later.
4. Everything should working in my domain hosted at dreamhost. You need to provide support for it.

Project: Create a WordPress Plug-in which interfaces with Livedocx.com and allows a logged in WordPress user to create documents using variables taken from the WordPress database.

Use Case: A website that allows users to easily generate frequently used documents (such as letters, invoices, confidentiality agreements, etc.) which will automatically be populated by user data the logged-in user has previously supplied upon registration (e.g., company_name, company_address, company_city, etc.)

Example Workflow: A new user signs up for the website and upon registration is presented a form (perhaps created using Cimy User Extra Fields) asking for the following information:

FirstName
LastName
CompanyName
CompanyAddress
CompanyCity
CompanyState
CompanyZip
CompanyPresidentName
CompanySecretaryName
CompanyCFOName

There could be many other fields offered but this will do for our example. The user fills out these fields which are stored in the WordPress MySQL database associated with the user so that any time the user logs in the data is available.

The logged-in user can then click on a menu that will present the user with a list of available documents that can be created. For instance, the menu might have links to the following types of documents:

confidentiality agreement
independent contractor agreement
employment agreement
terms and conditions of sale
web site terms and conditions
web site privacy policy
invoice

The user would click on one of these available links, and would then be taken to a screen where the user would be offered the opportunity to add some variable data for pre-determined fields to be filled in for the selected agreement. For instance, if the user selects the confidentiality agreement, the user would be taken to a screen that would offer him the option of adding the other party’s information, such as name, entity type, address, name of signatory, etc. After filling in this information, the user would be asked in what format the document should be returned, with the choices being PDF, DOCX, DOC, or RTF. Once the user chooses the document format, the user is invited to click on a button labeled “Create your document”. At this point the information entered by the user would be saved to the database for incorporation into the document, the system will call up the appropriate document template which will contain static text as well as data fields, and the system will call the logged-in user’s data (both the permanent user data and the other party user data which is temporarily stored in the database), and the template and user data will be sent to the livedocx.com website and processed by way of the livedocx Zend framework Zend_Service_LiveDocx service, and returned to the user for download.

The plug-in will facilitate creation of a front-end user interface to present the user with the available documents, and step the user through the questions that need to be answered to create the document, and provide a mechanism for the user to be presented with the document for download (LiveDocx.com and the Zend Framework will be useful here). The back end of the plug-in will provide the admin with the ability to add new document templates, and give the admin the ability to add fields to be filled in for the document template.

The programmer for this project will need to be familiar with the following:

WordPress, including creation of WordPress plug-ins
PHP
Zend Framework
LiveDocx service

Use Acls to allow admins to create/manage. Users can have GlobalAdmin, ProviderAdmin, BranchAdmin, BranchManager roles-

If you want to have different prices for any time during the year you can easily add new daily prices.
