Hi Guys & Girls!

Our supplier has an XML FEED which consists of new products, updated on a daily basis therefore manually inserting products from a CSV file can be quite taxing.

We need an XML FEED script or addon written/created for our online CS Cart shop (or any other recommended easy to use platform) so that we can connect to the supplier and insert the new products via the XML FEED. This also has discontinued products, out of stock etc.

Only serious coders please!

Amazon Xml Feed

February 25th, 2010 Comments off

I need a hand with an Amazon XML feed, ever since their updates last august we have unable to connect and retrieve product data from their site. An explanation of their new security credentials (which were installed into AWS last August) and success in retrieving their listings via a cgi or php xml script is required. We currently have an AWS account and are unsure as to why we can no longer retrieve listings. If you have prior experience with this, this might be an easy project for you.

Thanks!

Php And Xml Feed

September 24th, 2009 Comments off

I have a directory that lists real estate agents and I want to implement an XML feed that displays Sponsored Listings.

When the script is incorporated in static HTML pages it works fine, but on PHP pages it is returning results plus error codes. I want that fixed.

Example of a PHP page with error codes:
http://members.agentbios.com/united-states/florida.htm

I have also included links to scripts and other example pages for bidding purposes here:
http://www.agentbios.com/xml/

If you need access to the script and template that build the PHP pages and run the directory or anything else to make your bid please ask on the PMB.

Thanks!

Xml Bookmaker Odds Compare

September 2nd, 2009 Comments off

We’re looking for a php/mysql solution that will allow us to compare odds amongst a number of online sportsbooks cca 50.

The Odds Data:

- Odds are provided by each individual sportsbook via XML feed(s).
- optional: “scraping” data from bookmaker site.
- Each feed will provide the odds information in its own distinct format, so there will need to be some way to standardize for comparison.
- If it’s possible, we’d like to be able to add additional sportsbooks/feeds (xml url’s) down the road some sort of interface or something.

We have all the appropriate URL’s. Some of these sportsbooks have all their data in single feeds, wheras some have many feeds (one for each sport really adds up). All of the feeds being used are publically accessible (no logging in required to get at the data). Again – each different sportsbook may have it’s own particular feed structure, and possibly different naming conventions that we’ll need to be able to standardize enough to display different sportsbook’s odds side by side for the same game.

For example; Sportsbook A may refer to a team as “Manchester United” in their feed whereas Sportsbook B uses “Man. U”
Sportsbook A may display a game time as “10 PM”, Sportsbook B as “10:00 PM EST”, and Sportsbook C as “22:00″.

What It Needs To Do:

- Periodically retrieve and store odds data (temporarily) from each of these sportsbook’s XML feed in a local database.
- option to set refresh time for each feed (some every30 seconds, while some every 5 minutes)
- Standardize the feed input somehow so odds can be compared (while each XML feed will contain essentially the same data, it will not necessarily be named/tagged the same way in each individual feed.)
- Output upcoming games and their odds on a page, matching any games that are the same among the different sportsbooks and displaying their odds side-by-side on the same column or row.
- We should be able to display odds selectively on different pages by sport and by time. For example, one page might show all football odds available for games in the next 24 hours. We don’t mind putting the individual pages together over here if you can let us know how to pull the particular odds in to each, perhaps by passing some sort of parameters in to your script)
- Odds should be viewable in both Fractional and Decimal format (User can choose either format.
- Odds data should be purged from the database after the event has stated so it doesn’t get unreasonably large.
- Integration with Joomla

Shurebet (arbitrage) area:
- showing shurebets or arbitrages is also needed
- option to select what type of shurebets show
- option for customer to create his own filters with formulas that calculates cross market profit.
- There should be a login area, where customer can apply his own filters. (Selection of sport, selection of bookmakers, minimal profit…)

The code should be reasonably manageable so we can get things looking right with the site.

I’m aware that this sort of things been done before – if you have an existing solution that’s demonstratable that would be ideal – we’re ready to buy if it does what’s needed.

If any further clarification of sample URL’s for similar sites/scripts are needed, please let me know and I’ll try to help on the message board.

Something like oddstorm.com

Thanks,

Magento Xml Feed Import

August 16th, 2009 Comments off

I have a Sextoy webstore using Magento, I need to auto-import the products from the supplier via their xml feed. I need ALL fields captured, products enabled and prices marked up by a set percentage so I can globally apply my own discounts to make MY price.

I hired some here to do this weeks ago and while they did get a lot of it done it’s currently missing some fields and has not markup applied as of yet.

I am looking for a xml/magento programmer that has done this before and knows how to get it working 100%, I will have more of this work in the very near future.

Remember, alot of the work in done so far on this, it’s just been left and the programmer won’t respond to messages, I can’t wait any longer. I have set the bid low for this project to get it done, the original budget was $75-100 and I already paid this programmer $60, then never heard from him. Would appreciate someone to help me get this finished.

Xml Feed To Magento Ecommerce

June 12th, 2009 Comments off

Greetings to All

Project Overlook:

I have a website for adult sex toys.

My main distributor offers an XML Feed (server to server).
Would like to implement it in my website. The distributor offers:

A) XML Feed Inventory Import
B) Image Tars (They have to be downloaded from the ftp server, supplier does not allow leeching of images via http.
C) SOAP Stock Check
D) Country Codes Added
E) Shipping Codes
F) Open Orders Check

My website however is multi-language (spanish and english) and would need that the feed in the spanish website be placed in the according categories and sub-categories wich I will translate.

Website example that has done the same:

To someone with experience on this field, they should know exactly what the job entails.

Would like to be able to select wich categories I would and would not like to display on my website.

Please provide past jobs if available.

To sum it up. Would like all inventory, descriptions, images on the website be automated.

Would only like to enter prices for products.

Implement Xml Feed

June 9th, 2009 Comments off

I need an xml feed added to 2 of my already working search engines. Both of these search engines use the old smartsearch perl / cgi script and can be made to work with either xml or js feeds.

Currently i am using a js feed at one and xml at the other. I need them both to fetch results from another, new ppc SE and their feed is xml.

The admin area has a place where i can change search account ids and tracking numbers and i need this same feature for the new feed you will add.

Thanks

Sportsbook Odds Comparison

The results then show the best matches comparing the selected sportsbook and sport against the same outcomes on current available exchange odds (Betfair and Betdaq) Sorting form bets match e.g.100%+ down to matches better than 97%. If no matches greater than 97% message to state no matches found

Live Betting Site

April 29th, 2009 Comments off

Hi all,

I want to create a live betting site so that i need a script and a design for my site. I hope my site will like 188bet.com or http://www.ibet888.net/login888.aspx.

This will how it works:
Note: This is an email that i received from a supporter of Betradar.com. He wrote:

Event Creation

In order to setup a sportsbook, you need to know first of all when and where the matches are taking place (fixtures). Therefore we are providing our service that is called Event Creation. Here we are collecting the kick-off times for about 20 different sports around the world and we will always make sure that we are aware of any changes happening, so that our customers will always have the right information displayed in their sportsbook. We provide this data either via our betradar.com interface (menu Event Creation & Odds Suggestion) or via data-feed (XML feed) for direct integration in the betting software of our customers.

Odds Suggestions (pre match)

Once you know when and where the events are taking place, you need to offer the actual odds, so that your customers can place a bet. For this we are offering our service called Odds Suggestions. For European odds we will provide starting odds that are updated towards the start of the match by our bookmaker team. For Asian Handicap Odds (as shown on your screenshot), we only provide the starting odds. The follow needs to be done by your traders according to the market (money line).

This service is also available in our interface (menu Event Creation & Odds Suggestion) or via data-feed (XML feed) for direct integration in the betting software of our customers.

Resulting

Once you have offered the bet, you must know the final result of the match in order to do the customer payouts. Therefore we are offering the service Resulting which provides you with end results for about 20 different sports around the world. We will make sure that the results are provided as quickly as possible and very accurate.

This service is also available in our interface (menu Event Creation & Odds Suggestion) or via data-feed (XML feed) for direct integration in the betting software of our customers.

Trading Tools

In order to do your risk management, it will be helpful to know what your competitors are doing and if your offer is very different from the rest of the market. To be able to check on this, we offer the service called Trading Tools (menus Supervision / Monitoring). In the monitoring menu you will get a complete overview of the market situation with a display of all the odds from over 200 different bookmakers. The supervision menu actually alerts you, when your betting offer is different from the market. For example when your starting times or odds are compared to the market and you will be alerted, if there is a big difference.

In order to create the alerts, we will either need to receive the information about your fixtures and odds from you via data feed (XML) or we can also crawl the information automatically from your website.

In-running services

In order to offer in-running markets, you need to know very quickly and precisely what is happening during a match. Therefore we offer our in-running service that gives you the needed information very quickly and accurate as we have scouts in the stadiums around the world. You traders can compile the odds based on the information by Betradar. We also provide in-running odds ourselves, but only for European style odds.

Content solutions (Statistics, Live Scores, Live Match Centre)

These are solutions that are meant to provide information on your website for your customers. You can see our statistics solution on the 188 website.

Live Scores:

We offer one of the broadest and quickest live score services in the market; we have more than 60 fulltime people watching nearly all games live on TV, radio or even reporting from the stadiums.

Read Xml Feed (add To Db)

March 27th, 2009 Comments off

(PLEASE SEE ATTACHED FOR WORD DOCUMENT CONTAINING DATABASE DETAILS AND FULL DETAILS, THE BELOW INFORMATION IS JUST A SMALL BRIEF. THIS PROJECT NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED WITHIN 2 WEEKS)

Tabsoft is a financial software company which has a number of important clients. On a regular basis, information regarding financial products is sent to the company in the form of an XML feed. This information is then inserted into the internal company database and used within a number of software products.

A system is required to automate this process, reading in the data from the XML feed and loading it directly into the database. The structure of the database is given below. The DBMS Database Management System (DBMS) used by the company is MySQL which is freely available on the internet.
In addition to loading the data, the directors of the company would like a report produced which outlines all of the products found in the XML feed for this month. The format of the report should be HTML so that it can be uploaded to the internal company website.
You are required to:

1. Implement a system using the appropriate technology to produce a report outlining the products available from the distributor this month (see XML feed/document)

2. Implement an XML Schema for the given XML document (see XML feed/document).

3. Indentify a suitable programming language that will read the XML document and insert its contents into the database. You must justify your choice.

4. Create the MySQL database from the structure given below and insert the appropriate data from the XML feed
