I’ve attached a PNG file that we’d like converted to an Excel spreadsheet (.xls) that just has each email address in one cell (aligned vertically down the spreadsheet.)

Ascii To Xls File Conversion

We have a file that was originally an ascii file that we converted to a txt file. It can be found here: http://www.central-investments.com/uploads/ then click on ABMS1.txt. The .txt file is unreadable, so it may need to be put back into ascii format before manipulating. The file is 340 MB as an ascii file, which is why we have it saved it as a .txt file.

We’d like to have this file, which has volunteer contact info, converted into an excel spreadsheet (.xls) that we can then use with volunteer name, phone number, etc in separate fields in the spreadsheet. As it currently stands (as a huge ascii file or an unreadable .txt file), we can’t use this data…

We’d like to have a ZenCart customized to match the client’s existing website. Then we’d like a PHP script written that will convert a manufacturer’s XLS file and insert all the items (text only) into the ZenCart database. Client will add photos of items manually. XLS file Database needs to be updated every 3 months, so an automated conversion might be the best approach.
