I’m looking to offer my clients facebook fan pages. I’ve run across several sites that do this and I was wondering if there are any pre-built scripts out there that can handle this.

If not, I think using WPMU would work, allowing each client to manage their FB content directly through the WP interface. I’m building several templates to offer them. The one aspect of this that would need the most attention is the actual generation of the FB pages themselves.

How much would it cost for you to set up a system like this, where my clients can sign up, start generating content (again, if there is nothing preexisting out there, then WPMU might be the way to go), choose a template and have it create a FB page?

I’d like to get the platform set up and got properly running, will need the look and functionality customized a little and have data moved from one database into that newly set up WP MU database. Here’s the scoop:

I own a busy social networking site. It gets over 200,000 uniques a month and is entirely custom coded, including admin back end and forums. I would like to have WordPress MU with BuddyPress replace this custom script. You could use the design that the website currently uses or you can code a brand new theme for as long as it has a professional and elegant look and is entirely in tableless CSS (valid) with all proper SEO demands met.

Since this is an existing site, it has data in currently used database. I would need a programmer who’s able to check current database structure and find which table stores which data and then use a script to move this data into the correct WP MU table. That goes for all forums, blogs as well as members, as user data is also stored in the database.

There are also pictures which are were uploaded by users as their profile galleries and are stored locally on the server (they are very well organized). Those will need to be also renamed/moved so they work with WP MU.

And then I will need to get a redirecting script in place that would issue a 301 redirect to all existing URL and redirect traffic to new URLs as WP MY uses SEO friendly, non dynamic URL structure (a big plus). Current scripts use dynamic URLs which is not very good. I will need new WPMU installation to utilize SEO friendly permalink structure and because of that, it will be essential to have a script in place that would issue a 30 redirect to all old URL and point them to new ones.

1) look for a scheduled post.. with pre defined ‘tags’
2) auto publish that post to well know ezine sites x days before WP schedule date

I need a site-map creator installed onto my WPMU installation.

My memory limit is nearly maxed out because of my other plug-ins and so any solution you use must not rely on the memory allocation within WordPressMU.

The site is seasonmonkey.com and there are approx 1600 sub-domains. I need to be able to submit a site-map for every sub-domain so that Google Webmaster tools can read it in full and correctly.

I am in need of a couple of alterations to a WPMU Theme – DIXI.

The theme has a white background area and no border – I need a border put in and the ability for individual members to change the color or pattern on the background on their blogs.

Take a look at the attached pics to see exactly what I mean.

On the shadow border – it should be black on the inside (closest to the centre) and transparent on the outside (closest to the background) so the background image/color can show through in the shadow.

I need the coding for this – it needs to be ready to install & use in WPMU.

The background needs to be editable through the wp-admin area for each individual blog.

It needs to be incredibly simple to change – my customers don’t know html or php – so it needs to be wysiwyg.

We have multiple company profile sites. Each site has 30-50 subdomains with a one page article on each. We want to convert them to WPMU (Word Press Multi User) with keeping somewhat close to the designs (designs are simple). Please quote per site conversion. Thanks.

We need a WPMU enabled website which will manage more then 50 micro-website (domains). WPMU already consist of all necessary multi-sites features.

I assume, WPMU sites fetch files / images / logo from the SLAVE site and not from the MASTER site? Basically all these sites will be uploaded for SEO purpose and we do not want GOOGLE to treat all this 50+ domains coming from same location/CMS refrences. So we purchased 50+ Class C IP addresses for each micro-sites/domains.

It should be easy to manage the layout from Admin for all micro-sites. It should be easy to control CONTENT of all sites from this CMS.

Structure will look 95% similar like one website which I will give reference in PM Board. Please go through this site in detail. We need a similar links, quote form etc. Basically you have to create a site framework like the above site and make it look functional like the example site for the first SLAVE website. Rest 49 domain design we will work on.

I have a popular WP powered blog with MyBB forum board and I need to switch it all over to WPMU. I’m assuming all WP data will remain as is as WPMU uses the same database structure, but data that is currently in the tables used by MyBB may need to be transferred into respecting database tables of BuddyPress so the forum works with new site and so presently registered users and existing threads are retained. MyBB users should be moved over to WPMU so their profiles normally work within entire new installation.

I have a WPMU installation on my site and I need it backed up and upgraded to the latest version of WPMU.

The backup data will need to be tested to ensure it is complete and not corrupted, I’d like 2 backups (2 different methods and stored separately).

There are 10 – 15 blogs on the site and they need to be backed up and upgraded too.

I’m looking for somebody who can create a fully functional (W3C valid, commented and with moo menu etc.) WordPress MU theme to match my present Joomla template (JA Sulfur). I will have the Joomla Source PSDs available so hopefully it will be quite straightforward for an experienced templater.

I plan to host my blog in a sub directory and both installations need to be visually seamless so users won’t notice they are in a different environment.

We have a family blog using WordPress for Multiple Authors. Some family members don’t contribute very much. It was suggested to create a game of “Tag” where after one person writes an article they get to choose/Tag the next person to write a new article. I think it would be best to keep track of who has been tagged each round and only allow people to be tagged once per round until all people have been tagged (then start a new round). The script would need to display who can be tagged, and then send an email to the person being tagged.

People would need to be able to opt-in before the round starts. If they aren’t opted-in then they can’t actually read the articles for those playing in that round.

We have an existing inactive WPMU site on v2.6. The project is to upgrade the site to latest WPMU version, and to customize it for community usage, which means easy to use with limited features, such as:

1. User can add post only via the standard WYSIWYG editor. The post import feature built-in wordpress is limited to admin only.

2. User can control only three html boxes in top/bottom/sidebar respectively.
