WordPress Programmer Needed

I have an existing wordpress blog located at www.extremesurfs.com/blog

I would like to add width to the site to make it 1020px or thereabouts. I would also like to add a second side bar on the left hand side. Also when people go to a specific article my sidebars dont show so i need that to work.

I would also like to be able to add more banner space including 468 banners underneath the header but above the articles.

I would also like to optimize it SEO wise to get the search engines to pick it up better.

This is a job for someone with wordpress experience and I’m also open to some ideas from experienced programmers.

We can leave the header design as it is but make it fit into the larger pixel size

Hosting Site

I have a Joomla Hosting template. I need someone to upload it for me and configure the template according to the information provided by the reseller hosting package I have purchased.
I would also need a domain name search script to be installed on it too, in the tradition of godaddy, in that after it has shown you whether or not domain is available, it would also show you alternatives that are available, if yours is not available.
It would also offer to show you the whois info about the domain name, with a captcha to prevent spamming .

Photography Cms Template

This is not a big project. I am tempted to buy this template, but I want a few things changed so I want a new one designed from the ground up like this one, but where I own the rights to the code so that I can set it up on multiple domains. It should be xml based with an html/css template and no flash.

This is the template that I am referring to in this project description.

I would like someone to design a template like the example into a working dynamic photography template with its own built in backend CMS. I want a few changes to this template however. I don’t want the orange bar that follows the curser up and down the page. Instead, if you move your curser to the top of the page you will see a grey bar that fades into the page. I want that bar to be visible at all times. It should have the previous/next options just as it does now. The ” About Me: Portfolio: Contacts” links should be located on that top grey bar instead of the floating orange bar. I like how when you click the word “Portfolio” a list of categories drops down and you click on one. Then the thumbnails appear. However, those thumbnails should appear centered on the bottom bar at the foot of the screen instead of on that floating orange bar. The thumbs should only show up in sets of five. They should also have an arrow at the left and right of the set of thumbs that lets you scroll to the next set of images within that category if you had more than 5 images in that category. The second orange bar that now pops up just above the thumbs should not exist. Instead, the links “Zoom in | Zoom out | Fit To Page |reset | info” should appear along the grey footer bar at the top. From the current footer, we can get rid of the copyright, “Menu off | interval” and the word “sound” but leave the symbol for the sound on/off switch. (Notice I have added the “Fit to page” link so that the full image is visible inside the current browser window. The default should zoom just as the example template does, but I want the view to be able to one-click their way to a full image view)

The thumbnails should be actual small thumbnails that the template produces and not simply small version of the large image that would take forever to load. The site must load quickly.

The information on the about me page should be able to be added in the backend admin screen so that a novice user like myself does not need to know how to do any editing of files but can update the website at any time.

Categories should be able to be created/renamed/deleted in the admin screen and there should be an unlimited number of categories possible.

There should be a section in the admin where a user can check a box and manage which category an image is linked to with a single click of a button in ajax. See this link for a reference because I love how this script and programmer does it. http://www.pixelpost.org/forum/showthread.php?t=4523

I should be able to set the contact information in the admin page which includes the setting for the email address, smtp server, email password and port. I want to be able to use gmail for the contact page and it should be using the gmail server to send the information so that my bad shared host don’t mess up the emails. I need to have control of the details as described from the admin screen so that I can change to a new email in the future without giving anyone else access to my email password and so that my email address is not seen on the website for spam collectors.

On the image upload page, the user should be able to enter the text that will appear when you click on the “Info” link for each image.

The two lines in the “logo” that is at the top left of the screen should be set in the admin screen. Each on a separate line and it should function the way it does on this template.

I would also like the admin area to have the ability to email me my password if I forget what it is. It should only be able to send that password to me and not to anyone who happens to stumble across the password recovery form.

I don’t want people to have to scroll left and right and up and down to view the image. I do like how this image scales itself with the browser window. Test this out by changing the size of your browser window.

The music track should be uploaded and set in the admin screen with the ability to set new tracks when I want new ones. I would also like the option of setting some of the categories to be password protected so that if i shoot a wedding, it will appear in the drop down menu but when you click it to view the category you are asked to enter a password to view the photos. If I shoot five weddings, there should be five different passwords so only the bride of each can view their own photos.

I would also like a shopping cart ordering system for selected photos. I should be able to set availability and pricing for each image in the admin screen. They can then shop their way through the “album” and pick out whatever photos they want and in as many sizes as they want. They should be able to pay via paypal and then i will fill the orders.

There should be an edit section in the admin area where I can delete photos or update the associated text.

I have a mockup admin area that you can view to see how I would like the admin area to look and function. It does not have all of the features included, but it will give you a strong idea of what I want.

Modify WordPress Theme.

The site would need to be completed by Monday at the absolute latest. I’m willing to pay $150-200 for it.

I’m looking for someone who can modify a preexisting WordPress template by customizing the layout/appearance slightly and adding some functionality. My goal is to create a website for a residential group within a university that would at its core be a news blog but would also offer students other useful utilities and some very limited social networking functionality. The theme that I’m thinking about customizing can be found here: http://themeforest.net/item/imperial/47783 I think it does most of the news/blog functions well, so it wouldn’t require much manipulation in that department. Here are the changes/additions I would like to make to the theme.

1. I would like to alter the white version of the theme somewhat since I think it looks just a little bit crowded in places, and I would like to have a white site with green as an accent color.

2. Users would be able to create accounts which allow them to post comments, photos, videos, and add events to a calendar. They would also have profiles that would contain certain information about them. They would also have the ability to send messages. I think this could potentially be done using BuddyPress without too much difficulty.

3. I would like an events calendar that users can upload content to (and if it’s not too difficult, these events would have the ability to be linked to news stories and/or picture galleries)

4. Users would be able create/join groups and create events for that group that would go into the calendar.

5. Administrator accounts could add new stories and edit other site content.

The site design and layout should be based upon the white/light version of the Imperial WordPress theme found here: http://themeforest.net/item/imperial/47783. I would like the following changes made to it in terms of overall design:

Green accent color (lime green)
Additional space – The three column layout creates a cluttered feeling that I’m hoping could be fixed by spacing things out more
Web 2.0 makeover – Any of the design characteristics of Web 2.0 sites (Web 2.0 buttons, rounded edges, Web 2.0 icons) that can be added would be great.
Switch the nav bar to be bellow the page header. (I will give you materials for a new header later today)

Left Column
Here are the components I would like in the left column.

Top Stories Display – The current display that is in the top left is okay, but I would prefer if you could change it so that the story descriptions on the right of the picture moved underneath the picture so that it only takes up one column.
Blog/News Posts – These don’t necessarily need any design changes. However, if it is possible to make so that when people click “Read More,” the additional text is displayed on that same page without opening to a new page. I guess this would require Ajax or something like that. If that could be done for comments as well, that would be outstanding.
Center Column
Here are the components I would like in the center column. I would like to have areas in this column that display the following information in the following order from top to bottom:

Okay, as far as the user accounts go, I don’t think they should be too difficult to set up, but I’m not completely sure since I’ve never done it before. One of my friends has done similar things, and his programing/web design skills aren’t much better than mine, so I’m sure it wouldn’t be too difficult for you.

Forex Software

in regards to the Forex software…
The type of software I’m looking for would be very similar to the software you can find at this website http://www.premieretrade.com/

We want it to visually be as eye catching and also the functionality to be similar…. obviously we want it to work in a very sim ilar fashion as the premiere trade’s AI Wizard

I find Fibonacci to be a great indicator and also Elliott Wave… Maybe we could look at incorporating these indicators into our background and then as the indicators do their job it will display it on the user interface in an easy chart or line or even something as simple as green-buy.. Red-sell…. and yellow-wait… this will resemble what the AI Wizard looks like at the premier trade website above

So basically we would want it to have an application similar to the AI WIzard that premiere trade has… Something very simple like buying the currency once it has broken through the price line (yellow) into the green, or selling when the currency goes into the red. We can use different colours of course.

How we can detect whether or not it is appropriate for the price line to be in either green or red is because we will use indicators such as moving averages and Fibonacci…. We also like elliot wave as i mentioned earlier… Indicators for forex are absolutely free on the internet and so are different trading strategies. We will get one that has a consistent performance and then incorporate that into the background of our version of the AI Wizard.. So all the client sees is the line going into the green or red but really the software will be doing a lot of calculations based on the indicators we set in the background. If this is starting to get a little confusing just look at the premiere trade software and it should make sense… they have a lot of videos on their website which show the functionality of their software

In regards to the functionality of the AI Wizard… it seems that the strategy they teach is to firstly check what way the market is trending over 4 different time frames…. they use the 4 entry signal charts for this. I’m wondering if you would know what type of formulas they would use to detect what way the market is trending, and then have that work over all the different chart timeframes?

They also then get you to check the AI Wizard screen for 2 of the 3 indicators to be working in your favour (this is all shown in the 3 videos we sent you a link for). So the 3 indicators are…

Volatility
buying pressure

So long as 2 of the 3 are pointing in your direction and 4 time frames on the entry signal screen are all trending in the same direction, you pretty much have a trade. This is what they teach as a conservative strategy… they have a few other indicators that are needed which is shown in the video. I suppose that what I am getting at is do you know or can you get, the formulas for detecting things like the buying pressure, volatility, and momentum of the markets?

I know that they are nothing new in forex and are available online somewhere but we dont have them and we wondering if you have them or if you can get them. Once we have things like that we can then teach similar conservative strategies like premiere trade… we can then also offer more like the EA’s and other strategies that we already have.

Obviously we wont call it momentum, volatility and buying pressure, because their will probably be issues with copyright… We will call it something else and instead of having it laid out like they do, we will use something that looks like a speedometer in a car.

I think that the actual AI Wizard is similar to a moving average of some sorts… we are going to look into this more and try to find out what it is that they use and get back to you… Alternatively if you have some ideas of what the AI Wizard is doing we would be glad to hear it.

The whole idea of what we want to do is have something very basic for our new clients to come to grip with quick. So having something like checking that 2,3 or 4 entry signal charts are all trending the same way and that 2 or 3 of the 3 indicators are all pointing your way… and then checking our version of the Wizard to make sure that it is in the green (or whatever colour we choose) if we are going long an in the red if we are going short, will make it very easy for our new clients…. Then once they get used to that simple strategy, we can then introduce them to other strategys and the EA’s….

We would also like a feature incorporated in at the first stage to allow the client to choose to buy or sell currencys. Like a “Trade Now” button… From here the software will bring us to our white label of either FXCM’s or FXDD’s platform… You can request an API from either of these guys or grab one online…. these brokers also support automated trading and moblie trading. On these platforms it will keep track of trades and let you know how much is in your account ect.. their website is www.fxdd.com and www.fxcm.com… These guys are the brokers who accept the clients trade which will be placed from our software…

FXDD and FXCM are designed to support software like what we will have. in fact I think premiere trade use FXDD… I have been in touch with both companies and have not yet decided which one to go with… Maybe after you look into both you will be able to tell me which one will be the easiest to integrate with. FXCM has the best looking platform in my opinion.

I would also want a feature within the software where our clients can click on for training. in here i can populate with lots videos and tutorials that I have in our archive. If this cannot be done then i can host them in a members lounge through our website…

I would also want a feature where my clients can access charts for all the currency pairs… From 1 min charts right up to a monthly chart…. this is standard in all forex software and you will get this from the brokers….

If you take a look at the AI Software you will see most of these features and it will give you a good idea of how I would like it laid out.

What might be an idea is to ask for a demo of premiere trades AI software or a one month trial and I can talk you through everything I’m looking for over the phone…

Add Rating Feature To Website

I have wordpress blog and want to add a rating system to the website. It doesn’t have to be wordpress, but i would like to use an ajax based system and would like it to look integrated with the website. So as long as the header looks the same as the rest of the website is all i care about.

I need a frontside and admin section for this system.

Frontside
I want users to be able to rate products and stores, so each one would require different fields. There are going to be over a thousand different products and about 12 different catagories. Each catagory will need different fields. I would like to keep ever review organized into a catagory. So if a user wants to rate cataory 1, they would pick it from a drop down list. Once they pick that catagory, it would then load the fields that they can fill out and complete. The next field would show the product. They can click a product from a drop down list or add their own. Once they enter all the information for the review, they would need to enter a confirmation code, so I know itys real and would cut down on spam. At the top of the page, i would also like an indepth search function that would search reviews. Also on the main page of the review section, I would like it to show the most recent reviews with random reviews. When a user fills out a review, some of the fields would be based on a scale of 1-5. So when a user reads a review, they can read each review of that product and also see a rating system of average ratings. So say two people left a review of a product. Once user gives it s 5 and another gives it a rating of 3. It would show each users review with all the different fields they filled out, plus at the top it would show an avargae rating of 4.

i also want a user to be able to add a link to the yourtube video, so when a suer reads the review, the can also watch the video on the same page.

Also a when a user adds a review, they can enter the title of the review and that would be a new product under that catagory

Each review page needs to be SEO in meta tag information and on the address bar. So on the address bar it would show http://website.com/review/product name.

Again I would like an ajax system, so a user can click a category and then a sub category without the page having to reload.

Admin Side
For the admin side i want to be able to delete, edit or add a review. I would also like to be able to add a picture for the review. So if a user adds a review that is not in the system, I can go back and add a picture to that review. I would like to be able to add different catagories and products. For each review, i would like to be able to add the meta tag information.

I would also need a sidebar widget or something on the sidebar to show the most recent reviews left.

This is the majority of information i need for the rating system. There is smaller items that need to be added, but not much.

Lastley I would need you to integrate it into my site so it looks the same as the rest of the site.

New Party Website In Joomla

To edit and post real time changes, for them to ad there content, I would also like it setup where it sends them a invoice if they sign up online and wish to pay by check or m/o. I want the system to know if they sign up by that way that it does not allow them to post until I approve. The other way is were thay can sign up by paypal and then the system knows that they paid by paypal and allows them to post asap. It need to have a members sign up area. Press Release Site

Hi Folks,

I am after a clone of www.webwire.com. Basically I want a press release website where users can post press releases with the same fields as webwire. Once the press release is written, they should be able to preview it then edit it again or continue. On the next page they should be able to select which categories to submit it to (like webwire.com)

In addition to the above, I require the following functionality:

I would like 3 user levels like the following:

Basic = 1 press release per month

Gold = 5 press release submissions per month.

Platinum = 100 press release submissions per month

Elite = unlimited press release submissions per month

I would also like the ability to edit these levels from the admin panel, add new levels, delete levels, and change member benefits for each level.

One of my clients needs a complete cloned system of http://shop.safeway.com/superstore/default.asp?brandid=1&page=corphome for a online grocery company that will allow people to order online and then have the groceries delivered. The system should also have a content management system, and product management system, and price management system. Should also have a interactive Google maps, and address verification by the USPS.com (United States Postal Services) . The system would also have an online customer services messaging system where a online rep could aid a customer in shopping. It would also have a live stream video chat system for questions to the meat market, produce market, or the fish market. The system would also process payments, and have a vendor login section i.e. http://suppliers.safeway.com I would want this complete system in 10 days.

Budget/ Compensation:

The complete system has a budget compensation of $7500 USD. With a $2500 USD bonus if completed within the 10 working days deadline.

Terms/Conditions:

1. There will be no advance money or milestones provided. Client does not use third party escrow systems either.

2. Work would be completed by the provider or team. Once codes are completed they would be delivered, checked, evaluated by a technical rep to look for code breakage, hidden codes etc. If any of these things are found it would void the contract, code would be deleted and not used and contract ended.

New Php Script

I need a php script built and installed that runs on a MYSQL Database.

This script is for products (or items is actually what we will call them). These are not going to be sold so it’s NOT going to have any shopping cart function at all. It is simply for displaying products.

The script location should be /products/

The scripts admin which does not need password protection because I will just password protect the directory should be located in /products/admin

Please set this up so that we can change “products” folder name without having to change anything in the script for it to work. Incase we need this script for something else.

ADMIN SECTION

This product (item) script will need to have an admin panel that allows us to add, edit, and remove categories, and add edit and remove products. It will also need to be able to add, edit category images for

the categories.. If a category image is not assigned, then it would show the first product of that category as the category image.

ADD and Edit a category: This will have the following fields: Category name (text field), category description (text box) and a browse image field for a category image. When editing a category it would have drop down displaying the current categories so that we can choose one to edit.

Delete a category: Simply a dropdown to select a category to delete.. If a category has products in it it will warn “are you sure since you have existing items in this category” if you click yes it would not only delete that category but alow the products that existed in that category.

Add and edit an Item (aka product): This would have the following fields. A image field for the script to create a thumbnail image, A title field (text field), a short description field (a text box), and a

WYSIWYG box so that we can create html stuff and also have a html view so we could copy and paste code if we need to. The WYSIWYG needs to have all the buttons to create and format tables, text, add photos, links etc.. When adding photos it needs to be able to except all standard image types (jpeg, gif, png etc..). But we need a feature built in so that we can use photos that are on our own computer no just hosted images.. So if we choose a photo from our computer it would upload it and compress automatically and add it to the page.

We also need seperate 12 browse image fields for this. These photos would also be able to be taken off our own computer not remote linking. It will need to be able to compress these images as well.

ALL IMAGES MUST COMPRESS AUTOMATICAlly!

It would also have an order feature that allows them to sort the items in the order they want. Just a drop down on the add and edit item pages in the admin that says order for this item: “at the top” then “below product 1″ “below product 2″ etc.. or whatever the product names are.

When editing a item it would have drop down displaying the current categories so that we can choose one to edit

USER SECTION:
The main page will show all the categories on the page ( 4 per row) The thumbnail and the cateogory name below it. When the user clicks a category’s title or thumbnail it takes them to category’s list of items. This would display them down the page 20 items per page before going to page 2 and 3 and so on… This page would show a thumbnail (the thumbnail photo) the item name, the short description and a link the says “click here for more information”. The thumbnail and the items title would also be a link to this “more information page”.

The more information page is the page there the WYSIWYG stuff will be displayed. The “more information” page will show the Item’s title at the

top of the page, the WYSIWYG stuff added for that product, then below that the thumbnails for the 12 photos (if added). If they click on a thumbnail it will pop up in a new popup window with next and previous buttons so they can scan through and see all the enlarged photos. Below that it will have a link back to the category. It will say “BACK TO THE [CATEGORY NAME].

TITLE TAGS: We want to make this so that the title tags reflect what the category is.. On the more information page we want the title tag to display what the item’s title is.

If there is no products in a category it will say show a thumbnail saying “image not available”. Likewise if there is new thumbnail added in the thumbnail image field for a product it would also so “no image available”

That’s basically it.. There is now design needed.. just make sure you use a .css file so I can change the formatting.. So I can set the style on everything except for the WYSIWYG stuff which will display

however we create it. This needs to be built so that I can edit things myself. Please place a top.php and bottom.php page include on the pages so that I can easily add a design afterwards. Please don’t

bother bidding if you are a beginner programmer. I want to make sure I get a bug free script and I want you to be able to test things so I don’t don’t have to spend a lot of time checking your work.

I want to work with someone who can stays in communication about the project and uses msn messenger so that we can keep in contact.

Halo Clan Site/social Network

Hey im looking for a Halo Clan/Social Network site. I would like a site where people can make profiles and put up their screen-shots and such. I would also like it so i can put up polls where users can vote. It would also be nice to have a forum. I would also want an area where I can pick clan member of the month and week such. I would also want a friend finder or something where you can search for other gamertags.
I have no idea how this programming options and stuff works, but i would prefer the website is through a simple hosting site where i can make some changes like adding gamer of the month and stuff like that.

Auto Car Website With Seo Page

We want a script written to let our client update and maintain his car/auto stock listing online, and with strong SEO pages built as a result of the data in the database for his stocklist.

The main website would have around 7 pages in total, for example, home page, about us, showroom, finance, Services, Location and contact form.

We will supply all design of website inc. dummy content where live database content will appear and styled. On the home page we will have a Car of the Week & Star Buy spots, with heading of car (make & model) price and an image of it. Rest of the pages will be static – apart from the showroom link pages.

In showroom, it will list the cars/autos in a list view with small image of car and some of the data, ie, car make/make details & price. When a listing is clicked on, it opens up a page with that car’s details on it, ie, Make & Model at the top – space for large image and thumbnails of other images, hover over the thumbnails and the big image changes. Under these images would then be the car details text inc. mileage, year, fuel, transmission, price fields etc. It would also give the viewer the option – of a printer friendly page.

This build is generated around SEO important features, ie, in the control panel of the website where you will add new cars and images etc, we want the pages the database creates to be given the name of the Car for Aale, ie, www.domain.com/ford_mustang_2004 etc, and not an unfriendly seo page url, ie, www.domain.com/details.asp?sasas8372382?Cd=sadds788 etc.

We also want the option to enter SEO information within the car page, so when we add a new car in the admin panel, we would also create a page title, keywords, description for the page, and also alt tags for the images uploaded – basically so everything is as pro-SEO as possible.

The overall website will only contain around 20 cars/autos every month – so not a massive turnover of stock or money!

In the admin panel, you would also be able to select the car (s) you want to be featured on the home page as the car of the week, or star buy for example.

We have completed similiar projects in the past, and supplied html/php files of the pages to the coders and then they have used smarty templates etc to link our designs into the mysql database.
We can do this again or whatever suits you best – if you want us to supply psd’s of website and database settings etc
