I want someone to develop a script to auto post deals to woot from an excel spreasheet.

Part of the job is to run the actual script as well.

a total of 35,000 deals must be posted.

We need a daily deal website with similar functions as those found on woot.com or oooferton.com
We’d like it to be build on either wordpress or drupal using existing plugins, functionalities and templates (with some modifications), thus saving time and work.

The final version of the site (before payment) must present no bug and be fully functional.

These are the features of the site (please see attached pictures as examples to enlighten each description below):
- possibility of adding new categories of deals (such as the three tabs in oooferton.com)
- possibility to enable/disable multi city options
- main deal on homepage, with remaining stock gauge, time remaining, sharing deals buttons, a big button buy now, pics of the deal with brief description. Below a column for the full description, another for the product characteristics, and another for the product discussion.
- automatic posting the deal at a scheduled time, automatic sold out picture and buy botton blocked when deal sold out
- automatic email the deal to members
- possibility to let the gauge move automatically OR manually
- referral programme or points system for members when friends they invited buy a deal
- a past deals section with their respective discussion
- a fast, clear and simple checkout page
- a “my account” page for members to change their profile, see their points, their past orders..
- a FAQ page
- a backend panel to manage new products, members points program, orders, stats, payment options, etc.
- all site must be easy to translate since the site won’t be in english (buttons, etc.)

Exactly what the title says a working woot.com clone.

I think this can be done with Joomala/virtuemart or drupal/ubercart with a customs mod to handle the Timer functions and switching out products. I perfer this to be done in a manor similar. I do not want a system built from scratch i find no support and buggy software are very common on these sites. So i would at least like the comfort of support from an open source community in the case of bugs.

forum that community can use to talk about the product for sale that day. Topic auto started when item goes up for sale and locked when item is over.

Modual for shopping cart system that drips new products every 24 hours and archive the previous product.

Also need the ability to have up to 4 side items that can be rotated out manually. No need for them to be on the 24 hour timer.

Need to have clean Urls that are 100% editable i want complete contorl over the perma urls. Products for sale are always on the front page.

If using joomla I have a design concept in mind that is based on a commerical template. Drupal something but i do not know of a design thats already built.

I need a full featured working Woot/Groupon clone.

Here is the specifics of what I need:

A site that is run more Woot-like, as most items will be actual products people will order at super discounted prices, along with random days where there will be woot-off type deals, but has deals done more groupon-like. Also, the site will be more groupon-like in the fact it will have main deals and side deals, the main deal will always be on a countdown for 1-2 days, and the side deals may or may not have a countdown of their own.

-Main Deal a day, with user-editable countdown, default set to 24hrs
-Up to 6 side deals, being able to have each one configurable with a countdown or not.
-Be able to enable a “woot-off” like deal day, when many deals will be done
-A full coupon system to be used with deals that are for gift cards, so that each one gets a unique discount code
-Ability to run the deal where a minimum amount may need to be sold to get the deal, otherwise deal does not happen. Also need the ability to sell a maximum amount if merchant chooses, with ability to set to unlimited.
-Clean way to send all orders for the day to the merchant along with the agreed upon percentage of the sale they will get (generally around 90-95%, however, in some circumstances, the merchant may get 100% of the sale, amount will be determined by both number of items sold, as well as price of the item.)
-A full cms system .
-Archival of old deals.
-A user registration/login system which will store all information except payment, and allow them to comment on items. Also, there will be a page which the user can see all of their previous purchase history on..

9. User Management would allow typical features plus the ability to send bulk emails to all users.

10. There should also be a small forum, where all users (registered or not) will be allowed. The users can discuss or share small size pics, all pics require Admin approval.

11. User Account must contain Information about products purchased history, name and shipping address.

The code needs to be clean and optimized to minimize server and bandwidth utilization.
The site also needs to be cross browser compatible, and search engine optimized as best as possible (We realize this is not an SEO project).

Feature requirements for the site:

- The site is primarily advertising and donation supported.
Each page/section needs to be able to display up-to 8 different ads including Google ads optimized to show ads relevant to the current product on Woot.com.
Each ad zone needs to be configurable within an admin panel to refresh as different intervals, track displays, track clicks and add/remove/enable/disable ads.
Contextual & Inline ads need to be able to display for all text located on the site including item description.

- The information displayed on the site needs to be refreshed within a certain time variable configured in an admin panel.
The page should not need to reload to refresh the information, but only sections whose information has changed should refresh (possible Ajax)

- The site needs to be able to detect a woot off and change settings dynamically in this situation.
The refresh rate of the above sections need to go into Wootoff mode and based on settings in admin panel.

Exactly what the title says a working woot.com clone.

I think this can be done with Joomala/virtuemart or drupal/ubercart with a customs mod to handle the Timer functions and switching out products. I perfer this to be done in a manor similar. I do not want a system built from scratch i find no support and buggy software are very common on these sites. So i would at least like the comfort of support from an open source community in the case of bugs.

Here is what i need

A full cms system

forum that community can use to talk about the product for sale that day. Topic auto started when item goes up for sale and locked when item is over.

Modual for shopping cart system that drips new products every 24 hours and archive the previous product.

Also need the ability to have up to 4 side items that can be rotated out manually. No need for them to be on the 24 hour timer.

Need to have clean Urls that are 100% editable i want complete contorl over the perma urls. Products for sale are always on the front page.

If using joomla I have a design concept in mind that is based on a commerical template. Drupal something but i do not know of a design thats already built.

The objective of this project is to rebuild & redesign Wootpro.com which is a Woot Tracking Website.

There is existing code for the site however we wish for it to be used only as reference and prefer a complete recode of the site.
The site needs to be coded in ASP and capable of running on a Windows 2003/IIS server with the utilization on a MySQL backend if needed and utilizing CSS.
The code needs to be clean and optimized to minimize server and bandwidth utilization.
The site also needs to be cross browser compatible, and search engine optimized as best as possible (We realize this is not an SEO project).

Feature requirements for the site:

- The site is primarily advertising and donation supported.
Each page/section needs to be able to display up-to 8 different ads including Google ads optimized to show ads relevant to the current product on Woot.com.
Each ad zone needs to be configurable within an admin panel to refresh as different intervals, track displays, track clicks and add/remove/enable/disable ads.
Contextual & Inline ads need to be able to display for all text located on the site including item description.

- The information displayed on the site needs to be refreshed within a certain time variable configured in an admin panel.
The page should not need to reload to refresh the information, but only sections whose information has changed should refresh (possible Ajax)

- The site needs to be able to detect a woot off and change settings dynamically in this situation.
The refresh rate of the above sections need to go into Wootoff mode and based on settings in admin panel.

- The site needs to play an audio file for 4 scenarios, each with its own audio:
New woot item.
Woot item at or below 2%.
Woot item sold out.
Bag of crap woot item (in the instance, it will also need to open a new page with the order page for item being sold on woot.com) for paying members.
Audio files should only play once for each instance except for paying members who should be able to configure when the files play, and how often.
The page should also be able to grab focus of the screen, a feature which can be enabled by paying members.

- The site will need to have multiple pages contained in navigation tabs including:
+ Main page containing:
Woot off indicator.
Current woot item.
Price of item.
Shipping for item.
Condition of item.
Picture of item (clickable to enlarge without leaving site/page).

Give users the ability to signup using PayPal via either monthly or annual membership to be determined later via admin panel.
Once signed up, they will need to have a user panel where they can update their information, opt out of mailings, and customize sections of site as described within project.

*all pages will need to meet the advertising scheme described above.
*all pages need to contain a title showing the % left of current item and its name, visible to search engines.
-Each page needs to have a dynamic link to Digg optimized for current item.
-Site needs to have a common footer display load times, information, copyright and number of active users, number of members on site.
-A link needs to be available to test focus grabbing and audio alerts.

- Backend:
Dynamic .gif or .jpg banners need to be generated displaying an ad for the site and what it’s tracking, and % left to be used by members as forum signatures.
Site needs to automatically and immediately post an ad in the woot forums once a new item is available. You can see this by visiting the woot forums.
Site needs to allow all users to sign up for membership, but allow them to pay for upgrades enabling above features.
Admin Site needs to allow for e-mails sent to all users, paying users.
Site also needs to send a welcome email for each paid, and free users.
An admin panel which allows for management of site and users.
Allows for reporting of users and due payments with ability to e-mail users letting them know their membership is due for renewal and ability to suspend their account where if they log in, they are taken to a payment page.

- Anything else that may come up as fine tuning during project.

I need a site similar to woot.com It should have the following functions:
1. ability to have multiple items on sale at one time.
2. ability to change one or all items for sale at a pre-determined time.
3. control panel for each item where you can add pictures and descriptions.
4. integrated forum section.
5. integrated ordering and payment systems.

been burned by programmers on here before so I am requiring a working demo before any payment is sent.

We will like to create an online shopping site where only one product is sold in a day, somewhat a clone of woot.com or 1daysale.com.

Requirement:

1. The design of the site must have a modern and clean look.

2. Only 1 item will be displayed, however we also need an option where we can display 2 products in the same way, whenever we want.

3. We need to display the product for a specified amount of time; the item must appear sold out if the set number of available product size is reached. We want a ticking watch to be shown.

4. There will be a small signal next to the product, as the product starts selling the lights go on. Starting with green, then yellow (as the last 5% of the lot is left) and finally when the product is sold out it should be red.

5. There has to be a seller name displayed on the page (as we are going to have multiple sellers), and once clicked on it there should be all the previous deals by that seller and his rating.

6. Generate some analysis on when was the first and last sale made, in how much time, how many products were sold (kind of similar to woot) and which states were the top 3 and bottom 3 buyers. This information should be automatically generated and displayed the next day.

7. Site should be in ASP/PHP (kindly suggest which will be a better option) and all pages must be SEO friendly.

8. We should be able to add products and relevant data sequentially for the whole week, and make them appear consecutively as the stipulated time breaches.

9. User Comments and added information about the product should be allowed.

10. All the content and pages must be controlled via a single administrative page or CMS.

11. User Management would allow typical features plus the ability to send bulk emails to all users.

12. There should also be a small forum, where all users (registered or not) will be allowed. The users can discuss or share small size pics, all pics require Admin approval.

13. User Account must contain Information about products bought by him, and must also be given an opportunity to write
