This project is a Website template with a customizable structure and CMS
At the moment I need to create a website related with Oil rigs, so the layout design style must be corporate, technical, very professional according with this target, but also simple, clean and sophisticated. Not with a lot of liks and messy windows on the pages, keep it short and simple.

- Must be easily adapted to the design that I want – even if I change totally the design of the page it must be suitable of working perfectly. Those design changes could be on: Colors, links, modules, website structure, website shape, etc. It must be able to accept changes like in the picture attach on the project.

- All the website must work from the CMS – For that reason must be able to adapt to any changes that I do on the design of the page, example: I may decide to change the links from horizontal to vertical or from the top to the bottom and those changes must not be an interference or a problem to the CMS, It must be able to accept and the website must be easy to manage from the CMS.

- The CMS must be easy to work with, must be able to work on it online without any type of software.

It doesn’t matter what type of design it is or what type of changes were made it will always work perfectly from the CMS. Off course that those changes don’t have to be so radical, but could happen sometimes.

WHAT WE HAVE NOW:
Our website winningdesigns.com is built with a CMS from PHP and MySQL
We had a programmer install some features into the CMS, so we could login and enable them if we wanted. We bought the scripts, flash poll, flash event calendar, photo gallery. We also had other scripts made by our past programmer. The CMS has built in friendly URLs and automatic pinging scripts.

WHAT WE NEED:
1 – We want our site re-built with a CMS with built-in scripts for friendly URLs and Auto Pinging.
The website layout can look just like it looks now. So the work is really for the CMS and the feature scripts.

2 – We want to be able to go into the CMS Admin and enable all or just some of the feature scripts at anytime. To make it simple, the scripts for the features, (flash polls etc.) can be installed through FTP and then we can have a page in the CMS Admin where we can control what features are use in the website by using something like check boxes or something else that allows us to enable or disable the features.

Now, the polls script, and calendar allows us to make a poll for example, then copy the code it displays which can be put on a page in the website, same with the calendar. So that makes it a little easier.

3 – After the site with the CMS with all the features is done, I want to be able to make a copy of everything and install it at another one of our domains. I will need to have very good instructions on how to do this, which will of course include the setting up of the data bases through CPanel on our server. Which is what we did with the CMS we now have.

Once a copy of this new site with CMS is install at another domain, all I should have to do is hire someone to make a new layout design and install it.

NOTES:
Don’t want to use WordPress. The CMS can be open source, but it must be proven and of course Friendly URLs and Auto Pinging built-in. And have plug-ins to possibly use for our feature scripts.

We would like the use of programs like Ajax to make the site look and function better.

The site and CMS code must pass careful inspection by websites that check code.

Graphic Design: We need the web site redesigned to bring it more up-to-date graphically. We have a new logo, which will be provided to the winner bidder, so that he/she can incorporate it on the new site and use the same colors that it features. The new design should be clean and professional, but also eye-catching and visually exciting.

Programming: We need a Content Management System to be programmed for the web site, so that we can login to an admin panel and update anything we want to on the web site quickly and easily. For example, in this CMS, we want the ability to add, edit and remove “clients” (i.e., http://www.federaladvocates.com/federal/clients.htm). We also want the ability to add, edit and remove menu/navigation buttons when we create new pages for the site. We also need the ability to create new pages from within the CMS, so there should be some sort of built-in template for doing this (so that we only need to fill in the content that we want on the page). Those are only a few examples. I must emphasize that we want to be able to change EVERY area of text on the site from within the CMS, easily!
