I would like an android app to force the device to only use and connect at the wifi-G standard when the router is broadcasting two or more standards.

My wifi router is set to broadcast at both wifi-g and wifi-n standard.

I would like a simple app that would force the Android unit to connect at wifi-g when both standards are available.

I figured this would be a setting hidden somewhere withing android but I haven’t found it.

As to why I need it, my Archos Android tablet connects at wifi-n but can’t send and receive data at that setting. When I bump the router down to wifi-n, it works perfectly, but my other devices are forced to connect at wifi-g also, and I can’t take advantage of the other wifi speeds.

I need a WiFi splash page that can be EASIER edited to be used at different locations. These pages will be used for guest access in the “waiting areas” of a single business.

I need help with the configuration of rtl8187L wifi usb card.
The cards can connect to the router but the dhcp (dhclient) doesnt work fine.

The drivers are updated, the script in my rc.local is:

The card sometime works, some time not, or lost the connection.
The same card work fine in next windows machine.

Test the connection for a few hours.

I need the connection script for include in rc.local or /etc/networks/interfases (init start).

It must be like the Firefighter 360 game for iphone with embedded reality.

In this game we need to take advanced of the wifi.
So instead of fire you go after it must show wifi networks.

1: Embedded reality
2: Look for wifi networks and the stronger they are the color must be greater.
So if I turn right and see 3 networks the one with no encryption must be Green, the ones with WEP encryption Yellow and the ones with WPA encryption Red etc..

We want to make a very cool app and make it free so everybody download it.

You must be able to submit it there for us and make sure it works etc..

After this we need to port it to iphone and windows mobiles. You will get paid for that also.

Hi, We need a script/program that secures our staffs wifi hotspot traffic. Something like iPig. It needs to be really easy to use and run in an alway on state. This will allow staff to browse securely on wifi networks. Most of our users are PC based, but a future update could be for a Mac OSX.

We are keen to get this going ASAP. We will need an idea of how you will do it. this will help us evaluate bids and expertise. For example, will we need to host an application on our servers for users to vpn through? the programme needs to be an easy install and always running in the BG.

I need a tool / application which can sit in the System Tray and look for Wifi Networks when asked to scan for them. It is supposed to remember all the networks found and connect them automaticallly or as per user choice. It should also see whether the computer is on battery and should switch off the wireless if idle.

Application should enables reliable connection to Wi-Fi wherever wireless networks are available and users can move between open Wi-Fi networks automatically.

It would also allow for hot-switching between two wireless networks like in Windows 7.

Refrence can be drawn from www.WeFi.com . I am only concerned with WiFI manager part of the program. Application should have similar user interface and should support Windows xp Vista windows in 32 and 64 bit variants.

Hi. I need a program for a cellphone. The program will work on any cellphone that can connect to the Internet.

The idea of the project is that whenever the cellphone is in a WiFi network, the phone should, via the Internet, upload its location. This can be done via IP. The IP should only be logged if the IP/location changes. For instance if the program is installed on a cellphone that goes from China to Japan, the location of the cellphone will be registered in the first WiFi network.
All the locations will be stored in a MySQL database. In the MySQL database will be stored the cellphone number, the Location and time.
How to receive the program: An SMS is sent to a cellphone. The owner of the cellphone opens the SMS and the program is installed on the phone. If there is no WiFi on the phone the program will not be installed.
Whenever 2 cellphones with bluetooth are in range with each other and one of them has the program installed, the one with the program installed will send the program to the other phone via BlueTooth.
