Add additional features to an existing website

Hi,
We have a number of websites that were created before I arrived at this company. We want to do some editing to them but are having difficulty. They seem to have been created with a program that none of us are familiar with. We think the person used Dreamweaver but are not sure. This person does not answer our emails so we can’t get help from them.

So, can someone suggest what program to use to edit these or how to go about editing them. We are familiar with HTML and WordPress but not this. We have tried but can’t edit these at the moment.

We might be open to hiring a web designer to do the small edits in the future.

We have three different web site that we require to be linked and upgraded so as to work together to streamline our new marketing push. There is the thinking it through process to do before we start and then the tweaking as an ongoing service. Two sites have order pages with security and payment options. We may require a shopping cart later on.

I have an established website -MoveYourStuff.com.
I had a designer that was in the middle of giving the site
an overhaul but he has vanished.

Here are just a few things I need changed -
I would like the overall look of the site to be improved.
And the transitions from page to page to be better.
One of the other functions was a quote box that the customer
would fill in a set of criteria and when they hit the send button an
automatic email would be sent to the drivers that handle that specific
area.

I believe my previous web guy was adding ajax for the page transitions,
functions and data submissions.

I am looking for someone who is not only a web designer but who has business and marketing savvy.

I am a small company. Right now the site is for one person but as the site grows I’m looking to turn it into a national thing. The goal of the site is to eventually handle
a national customer base with drivers throughout the U.S.
It would help if you could look at the site and have an understanding of what I’m going
for.

I would like someone that is preferably from the U.S or Canada.
If you respond to my ad with a standard cookie cutter script response I will not answer you. Im extremely nice and friendly but sometimes it’s way to much work to sort through all of the unqualified people. I will be taking a few days to find the right person at the right price.
