Get a Freelance Job

This should be a quick job for a few bucks. I have a dedicated server with webmin. I have set up FTP which connects but I get 550 and 503 error when I try to delete files or upload.

Again connects without an issue and will download. It has to do something with permissions. The user is set to the correct folder.

Now most of all is running fine;-) but i have a mail Problem.
I can not send a email to my account
i got this error:
554 5.7.1 …..Relay access denied

i use postfix, Dovecot. i use virual Domains. and you must fix the Mailserver and i will use SASL Authentication

Need help configuring webmin – in the area of modules, groups and ownership and ftp configuration.

I’m hiring someone right NOW so must be able to work immediately. Need support via skype chat (text) and if needed will grant ssh but this can probably done remotely.

this will probably take 30 minutes or less, but assume this is for 2 hours max help.

I can send a email to my account “test” at “domian.com” i can see the email on my server. An i can anwser this email with my webmail on my server. BUT if i try send or receive with outlook i see a error -err 0x800ccc92 Authentication failed but i am sure the username and password is right.
i use postfix, Dovecot.

You must have good reviews and webmin experience and Linux hardening.

SMTP, Pop3 and IMAP. (secured would be a nice option but not if it’s to complicated)

I have SSH running.

I have just replaced an old unmetered server, the old server has webmin intalled and configured with an ftp client, I had someone set it up for me but hes no longer around.

If you are familiar with webmin then this should be a very quick job and imagine it would take you less than an hour, probably 10 minutes

webmin is installed on the new server, I have installed the proftpd module, I have imported the users from old server that has webmin insalled (older but doesnt matter)

problem is that when I try and login via ftp I get the error “password not accpted unable to login” the thing is the password is correct as I even changed it in webmin just to be sure, I have been on this most of last night and today and cant get anywhere, any one used to webmin and think they can do this?

the only thing I have noticed is that the old server is using a different ftp module vsftpd instead of proftpd but I can find it in the webmin control panel

I need this done asap and please dont be stupid in your pricing, if you are familiar with webmin it should take no time at all

I have a VPS hosted account.

I had webmin set up for me, but periodically i found out that the BIND server was down, and something about a Dovecot had stopped working for no apparent reason.

The programmer who set it up for me said he was an expert but there had been a few problems which he admitted he should have already attended to, but didn’t. (this happened over the course of a few weeks and i can tell, with my limited knowledge, that they were ‘school boy errors’)

I’d like someone to check the setup of the server.
Plus talk me through how to successfully add / host domains, including where to point name servers to when i register domain names else where.

I’m a mac user and would love it the option to screen share and be shown whats required.

It’s not a deal breaker if that isn’t possible.

I’ve got several projects that i’m working on as a self employed entrepreneur. Hopefully this time i can find a server engineer who is fully competent and who then can be someone who i can turn to, to just look after my stuff as my business ventures develop.

I setup a server running centos and webmin but do not know enough to finish I need the dns to be setup and also webmin setup so I can run multipul websites from it would also like phpmyadmin installed. I have been renting a VPS with WHM and Cpanel and would like webmin to run much the same way.

I have a new server running webmin and do not know how to setup the dns correctly. I need someone to setup the dns and also add some domain to the server.

Its urgent – I need sorting asap.

I’ve set up 2 nameservers using bind and a website and a mail server on a dedicated server.

However, it looks like I may have made a mistake and I need someone to check and fix.

Used binddns to setup dns and virtualmin for website etc.

I need the nameservers, the website and the email running asap as.
