I had a shared hosting plan with Host Gator and quickly outgrew it. I’ve purchased a virtual private server from VPSLand and now I need my websites, databases, email accounts, etc. migrated. In addition, I’d like for you to configure the server (CentOS + Plesk) and do all that other fancy stuff to make sure everything’s working correctly.

This is a big move consisting of over 14 websites with databases, several email accounts, and more. I estimate about a gigabyte’s worth of files will need to be moved so serious bidders only. Working with programmers on GetAFreelancer proved to be a bad mistake so I expect you to know what you’re doing and have something to show me as an example.

I am looking to start up my own web host service, and need the hosting site designed for me.

I will have 3 types of package categories, with 4 different packages in each category.

The categories will be:
Web Hosting
Reseller Hosting
TorrentFlux Hosting

The site must be a unique design, and not a clone of other sites. Almost every webhost seems to use the same script, as they all look very much similar. I want the design of my site to be 100% unique, professional and eye-catching.

Site features must include:

Subscription payment via PayPal.

Auto-creation of hosting account and all features after checkout (TorrentFlux Packages must install the cPanel hosting account, as well as installing the TorrentFlux Client to the users domain).

Must have integrated, automatic domain search and registration via the website, or the option to use a domain already owned by the user, or to use a free domain (subdomain of my site domain).

The full process must be automated from the start of registration, to the point where the users account is fully setup and ready for the user to use.

cPanel Branding must be designed to match my logo and webhost.

If possible, I would like a CMS based admin area which I can setup more packages in the future as needed. The admin panel must automatically add the new packages to the hosting site (or alter the current packages). I am not a programmer myself, and know only very basic HTML, so an easy to use CMS is important for this purpose.

The site MUST have a unique layout and logo for the website. Please do not waste my time or yours by offering me edited templates etc, as I will not pay for that. The site must be freshly hard coded in HTML, and all pages optomised for SEO purposed.

Once the site is complete, I reserve the right to test the functionaltiy and stability of the site for up to seven days before payment is made. If I require any alterations these will also be done before payment is made, as well as any bug-fixes which I may find during the test phase.

I will also require a 12month maintenance period, where any bugs found in the original programming will be fixed at no charge (this will apply only to bugs in the original site design and functionality, and not any site updates which I may request. If I require any site updates, obviously I will pay for them accordingly).

I reserve all rights to the design, and you may not sell this as a script to any other person. I will require you to sign a document releasing the design and all copyright regarding the site to me. This legal document will be sent to you via post, must be signed and dated by yourself as well as a witness [third party legal certifier witness such as a police commissioner, banking official, or lawyer]) and the original will be sent back to me via post.

Payment will be made by PayPal in the following terms:

50% payment once the site is installed to my server, fully operational, and has gone through my seven day testing phase without any bugs.
The remaining 50% (as well as any postage cost to send the document to me via registered mail) will be paid after receiving the original, signed letter as described above.

Please do not bid if you do not agree to my terms. Unfortunately I am forced to be strict with the copyright requirements, as my previous site had to be taken down after getting robbed by a freelancer on another site. I was sold a copyrighted script, and received a legal notice to remove the site due to copyright breach. I will not deal with any type of copyrighted and/or nulled scripts.

Also, please indicate the correct timeframe for completion when making your bid. Do not say the site can be designed in 3 days if it is going to take 15 days. The project will be expected to be completed within the time you have bid for.

The details or the site domain, as well as in-detail package description will be sent upon acceptance of the bid.

I’m with a web host that has really let me down and I’m ready to migrate to a more reliable and Joomla!-friendly host. (I know that’s got you curious — My current provider keeps locking my files so I can’t read or write to them, and they upgraded my site to a new version without my permission.)

I have already purchased my subsciption from the new host — a service I trust.

You will need to move two smaller (fewer than 30 pages) websites, a WordPress blog and some miscellaneous files I host with my current provider, over to my new web host and make sure it’s all working. Both of the websites are built in Joomla 1.5 (I think they are both on the same version) and have multiple plugins/components and widgets. Again, I don’t have a lot to move, but I need someone to do the migration and quality assurance for me — I have no time. You will also need to instruct me (or handle) the domains as well. I currently have my domains registered with GoDaddy.

Both web hosts use Cpanel.

I have a web host with three domains. Recently, I have been attacked by spywares and or virus and I would like to rid the websites of the malicious effects and upload the websites again.
Does anyone have an idea how best to solve this problem?
On the side, I have a little html editing and an image editing to do on joomla.
Is there any skillful, but cheap freelancer out there to help me?
