Interactive Fractal Art Web App to Showcase Users’ Beautiful Creations

I’m looking for programmers who can build a bare-bones framework for an interactive fractal art web app that will automatically showcase the most beautiful of the users’ creations.

You need not worry about the mathematics behind the graphics part, I’ll do that.

I need help with making the site dynamic. When users save/edit a “scene”, the app needs to store/retrieve the viewing parameters, along with the user’s name etc. in a MySQL database. I want the scenes to be public, ie. any visitor to the site can begin editing (a copy of) an existing one. The app must convert the graphics rendered in a java applet (or another technology if you suggest) into an image file (at thumbnail and large resolutions). The home page will show the latest scenes created by displaying the thumbnails and their creators.

This is the basic idea. More features will be added as traffic increases. Contact me if you can easily solve these initial problems. I’d like to know which technologies you’d propose, so I can make sure my hosting service supports them before we get started. I want a way for registered users to be able to upload photos that will then populate an online gallery where all registered users can rate and comment on all the photos.

Overview:

Commercial web event-planning application generates and displays a graphical timeline and checklist of delivery dates and creatives needed.

Description:

We provide solutions that require pre-event activities.

When an event date is chosen, approximately 30 activities, or more, must be scheduled in advance of the event. Each activity may be as simple as sending an email, but we need to know the email is not only due, but that it’s been written and is ready.

We want to track these pre-event activity dates and their requisite creatives by generating a graphical timeline showing scheduled dates and thumbnails of the creative(s).

Each thumbnail represents not only the creative itself, but also its completion status, and is color-coded in green, yellow or red, to show its degree of completion.

Once completed and marked as such, the thumbnail turns green and the tracking checklist is updated to reflect it’s status. The checklist will be in a sidebar and display all the creatives, sorted by completion status.

At any time we need to know that 12 creatives are completed, 7 have been started, and 10 have had no activity, or whatever those numbers might be.

Clicking any thumbnail opens a webpage displaying the creative (again, say an email) and clicking an edit button allows us to update that email.

Once the creatives are completed and the pre-event stage arrives, a reminder is emailed whenever a scheduled activity is due, and the website gives the user notification so that logging in displays all tasks scheduled for that day.

At its core, this is a unique project management application that takes place within a member-site framework, much like BaseCampHQ. If there is ever a question like “how do we implement this feature,” we look how the folks at BaseCampHQ did it an model their efforts (like subscribing, for example).

Please do not bid if you cannot create a commercial quality web-app.

You must be able to deliver on-time as we have possible events scheduled where this type of system will be required and we must plan accordingly. You must be able to work independently and be available and willing to communicate as I will require regular updates to confirm your progress.

Using the zip code, the PHP will then access a database and determine which of the “terms of use” to display.

users will need to select “I agree to the terms of use” check box before being allowed to click submit. If a user has not filled out the form correctly and hits submit, the form will highlight the incorrect field so that the user can correctly fill it out.

Successful Submit:

there will be 4 databases total;
1 – a database of zip codes, counties/corps, and terms of use(will provide a CSV file upon acceptance of bid)
2 – Database used for storing “pending” donor sites.
3 – Database used for storing “accepted” donor sites.
4 – Database used for storing “denied” donor sites.

When a user successfully submits a form a notification will be sent to the appropriate county/corps contact (recipient) as well as the submitter’s email, confirming that their application is “pending”. The recipient’s email will include a link to a page that will let them approve or deny the application. This page will require a login. This page will then move the database item from the “pending” database to either the “approved” or “denied” database respectively. All the items from the original form must remain in the final database, either approved or denied.

A final email will be sent to both the submitter and the recipient confirming that their application was either approved or denied.

* Unfortunately, only fluent English speaking developers will qualify for the project due to the nature of the project. Please submit a resume and a minimum of 3 urls of samples projects.

Need a developer who can follow written requirements specifications, think outside the box and implement a solution that actually exceeds expectations. The project is a simple project involving a php and Java website with JOOMLA, PayPal subscription integration, and Affiliate Pro two tier program integrated. There is a web application that requires redevelopment as it currently does not function as required. my current thought is that on first use of service agent a pin number will be generated for use by that service agent to log into all jobs sent to him (having separate p/w for each job woud be too messy/complicated)

obviously certain fields would not be editable by service agent and possibly some fields would be a ‘one-time’ edit

in-house there woudl be prob two clases of admin … superuser and normal user/manager

Web application for sea angling site. The app should be something like 600 wide by 800 high (Estimate). The web app will embed into my site. The web app should have a link back to my site on every page. It should be embedable into any other site and have the embed code visible on the app ( A bit like how you tube allow you to embed the videos in your site). Link back to my site should be search engine friendly.

Page one is a welcome page with enter button. This page will display a picture and some nice text designed by you.

Once into the web app each page has a picture and a set of choices the user is presented with choices based on questions. Depenedent on answers provided the user is guided to another choice page and then a final page where they are given the information they are after.

First choice page has 3 choices leading to 3 more pages of choices.

Next level choice pages (3 of them) has 5 choices on each (So thats roughly 15 choices)

I’ve created a web app that customers use to post classified ads to a website which will be launched July 1, 09. This is a Business Catalyst site which allows for creation of custom web apps, in this case classified ads. But the software allows for only one price per web app item, and the form I created has many options, like formatting choices, extra characters in the ad body, choices of which print edition it will be in, etc. All this needs to be done with JavaScript.

I am looking for immediate assistance with a java web app. A project that I have worked on has been moved to a new server and now certain functions do not work. The spots that are not working seem to be stuck in the js. I don’t have much experience moving projects from one server to another like this. Can you help me figure out how to resolve the problem? We will need to interact using IM since the servers are internal private servers.

I need a php-driven interface between an existing website (with a very simple ‘store’) and the QuickBooks Merchant Service. I’ve built similar interfaces to other credit card processors, but the documentation provided by Intuit is so Windows-based that my head is spinning.
