Hello, we had our VPS hacked and it seems to have caused some MySQL issues, and the server was also used in a brute force attack against other networks. We’ll need this fixed ASAP.

The server is running CentOS and PHP 5.2.x, mysql 5.x, and Apache 2.2 I believe.

The server where the vps is running on is out dated. the control panel is Plesk 9 I think. (also old??!?)
The server is running Debian (Etch) 4
The vps hoster say they cannot install Php 5.3 because it cannot compile in debian 4. Updates to debian 5 (lenny) or 6 (wheely) are not compatible with the plesk panel.

So I’m stuck I need php 5.3 for wordpress site. And my VPS provider cannot update it.

I purchased a vps and I started pulling my sites in before I set up name servers now its not saving the name servers.

I am not experienced with this so need someone that is.

I can set up the IP’s in the name servers in my registrar, I just need everything set up correctly on the cpanel, which included the issue with the name servers resolved.

I’m looking for a sysadmin that will migrate a number of client sites (~10) from their current location (3 separate dedicated servers) to a single Dreamhost VPS account.

They are small static sites, and only like 2 of them use a (mysql) dB for simple stuff like storing contact form entries.

Am in need of a programer who is comfortable to the vps,cpanel/whm to qiuckly re-set up our vps, and restore all the domains from the file.

Someone hacked my server (most likely through an exploit on an outdated version of OsCommerce.

I need someone to properly scan the VPS and find all infected file, spyware, malware, etc.

Then remove the files, update all of the software such as OSCommerce, and prevent this from happening again.

I have two VPS with Windows Server 2008 Datacenter and you would need to configure both VPS’s to run with IIS 7 and also install/configure real time synchronization (Microsoft failover or wxsync, robocopy, ftp voyager or any other better sync solution). It would be great if you could setup failover with load balancing, but if this isn’t possible, then simple failover will do.

In addition you would need to configure SmarterMail mail server to run on both servers or at least to configure one server as backup mx.

This shouldn’t be a lot of work for experienced programmer active in this field, so please do give me reasonable quotes.

I have a VPS which hosts a website. I need to develop a new web site using a new version of the content management system that I currently use to manage the web site. However I want the existing site to remain live while i build the new site, so i want a seperate instance of the CMS installed and configured on the VPS.

The old site must remain unaffected by the installation of the new CMS. A new instance of the CMS will be installed by the developer and configured. The domain will be redirected to point at the new site once it has been completed so the developer will need to configure a temporary domain for me to access the new installation of the CMS.

The CMS is insite creation, an ASP.NET CMS that has a MSSQL backend – the developer is responsible for installing the CMS onto the server so should have knowledge of ASP.NET and MSSQL.

I will provide all access details for the VPS and access to download a copy of the CMS.
