Hi,
I need some assistance setting up a new 1&1 VPS – I have no experience with this and need someone to get it setup as i need it.
Its a Windows VPS controlled via 1&1 control panel, Virtuozzo and Plesk.
I need to control a number of web sites from this hosting and need the server configuring to run email and some SQL databases.
I have a CMS application that i need to install on the server so i’ll want it configured to run that. I’ll need the chosen programmer to ensure that mail scripts etc. are installed correctly.
If you have experience in setting up a VPS server from scratch then i want to hear from you.
Its got to be a very quick and easy job for someone who knows what they are doing.
I’ll explain in detail what i need to the selected programmer.

- I got a new unmanaged VPS that I need help in setting it up the softwares and basic configuration to run my sites.
- I got the VPS login info and I just need the following done on it:
1. Install CentOS or any OS you can recommend and other software
2. Configure Basic Server config on Apache, PHP and Mysql and mail to run my sites.
- This should be easy for experience users.
- If you can harden the server a bit, then that is a plus factor to hire you.
- I am getting 3-4 more other VPSs and move around from time to time.
- I want long term one team who helps me maintain my hardware assets remotely.
- I also plan to setup own dedicated server, I need somebody to do load balancing et all.

2. Configure Basic Server config on Apache, PHP and Mysql and mail to run my sites.
This should be easy for those with experience. If you can harden the server a bit, then that is a plus factor to hire you. I got 3 other VPSs and move from time to time. If you win this project, then I can hire you as well from time to time when I move sites. Same work requirements as this.
