I am looking for someone to install Centos 6 using VNC
The server has 2 hard drives on software raid 1
Its very important to setup those partition right
Need to set the correct partitions as required for installing OpenVZ
Only people with experience on this field do apply.
Experience programmers should not take long to do this, its a 10 min job!!
Please note: I will put the server on VNC installation mode, so you just need to follow the installation steps. Username and password will be provided
You just need to install CentOs 6 not OpenVZ

I am in need of modifying the android app called ‘Android-VNC-Viewer’. The source code can be found here > http://code.google.com/p/android-vnc-viewer/
What i am in need of adding (and modifying) is the following:
(1) Add code to be able to dim the screen after a set number of minutes (code for dimming is here > http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3496806/what-is-the-proper-way-to-dim-the-screen
http://developer.android.com/reference/android/os/PowerManager.html
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1875669/calling-hidden-api-in-android-to-turn-screen-off)
(2) Automatically connect to the server without the need to fill out the information on the start screen and push a button.
(ex:
Nickname : Bob
Password : bobpass
Address : 192.168.0.77
Port : 444
Color Format : 24-bit color (4 bpp)
Force full-screen bitmap : Auto
Repeater : No repeater)
No extreme modification is required. All the code is there for the program and i have provided you the code for the dimming of the screen so it shouldn’t be hard to do this project. I would do it but i am not very good at JAVA. Once the program is touched on the touch screen it should automatically start with the settings and connect without the user having to touch anything to connect.
If you have any other questions about what i am in need of then please feel free to contact me and ask
)
As always, examples of your work is necessary for me to determine if i should choose you over someone else. Also, good feedback is also needed and will not be accepted if you have negative feedback of any kind.

I need additional features to ultravnc
1) sendall characters and controls to host (EG: change languige (ALT+R-SHIFT) (or alt ctrl S) (could be icon)
but it should send all keyboard characters !
2) icon that opens a window that shows what computers are in the area and which of them
is waiting with vnc open. it should be able to choose from this screen to what computer to connect .
3) connection screen that will have only :
name: – user input
ip:123.321.111.001
user: passsword
port :5800
connect -cancel -copy -load
load is from a directory . it enables the user to change directory or load profile
in any case if name does not exist in the directory – it saves the the profile in current directory
4) open viewer from remote: ie: when I connect to remote I shall have an icon on my viewer that will open viewer on the host in order to see other hosts on the far network
5) ini file that will hold the defaults for user name ,ip, pasword and port
Recorded sessions are done in FlashLight-VNC. This is NOT desktop version that is downloaded.
Here is player/viewer:
This is not a flash player, but FlashLight-VNC. Looks like a normal flash player, but it is FlashLight-VNC streaming a recorded VNC session.

Need programmer who is experienced working with this open source vnc software.

We are looking for a competent Java developer to modify a VNC-variant
(preferably TightVNC) to connect to Citrix XenServer VNC sessions via
port 443. Typically, VNC clients connect to VNC servers via standard
sockets (with optional authentication), but in the case of XenServer all VNC sessions are delivered via HTTPS on port 443. The finished Java app will be in applet form, and therefore be able to function within all popular web-browsers. To connect to a particular virtual machine, something similar to the following is involved:
telnet 192.168.0.1 443
CONNECT /console?ref=OpaqueRef:60388300-e231-4ce8-5022-ef865ded1a16&session_id=OpaqueRef:b954439c-7e02-cf69-f1a7-9ba634888a4c HTTP/1.0
The first value is a UUID corresponding to the VNC session on the
cluster, and the second value is a valid user session. Upon a
successful connection the RFB (remote frame-buffer) data stream
commences, at which point the VNC client would behave as normal. Due to the intended implementation of this functionality, no authentication will be required. No knowledge of Xen-API is required either, as the two values above will be delivered via our web application, but if the successful bidder has knowledge of XenServer/Xen-API this will be advantageous. If required we can set up a test machine with an isolated deployment of XenServer to perform testing on, although it’s preferable if the successful bidder has access to their own XenServer environment.
Further details of the RFB protocol can be found at
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RFB_protocol

I have a VPS server.
I would like to have two things done on the server.
I would like to get Ubuntu VNC setup on the machine so that I could login to it remotely. The VNC would need to be accessible through port 80.
I would also like a HTTP Proxy I could connect to so that I can run my traffic through this machine.

Currently using a different product but want to move to Ultra VNC. Have installed it and setup and configured the executable for our website for our customers to connect to. The problem is that when it connects it is extremely slow to respond. I’m pretty sure it is something simple, but I cannot figure it out.
