For A Good Cause…develop Simple Games For Visually Impaire

August 11th, 2011 Comments off

Hello,

In short I am a dad who’s son was injured last fall by a falling rock. He is well, but goes through extensive vision therapy weekly. Over the last number of months we have learned much about vision therapy and especially how to help kids who have vision impairment problems. I would like to see if I could find a game developer (perhaps flash?) to help develop some simple games that will help with teaching mine and other children Perception, Tracking, Focusing, and Eye Teaming exercises. I would like to develop about 20 or so games.

I will work with you on the kinds of things the games will need to do, and you will be in charge of the creative elements and making it work.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Research

July 18th, 2011 Comments off

I am looking for someone to do web research on the following 3 topics:

1) I want to do some work on vision this fall and am troubled by the short time horizons people are using to create vision. I would like to take a longer time horizon and create “the dream” from which the vision comes from. I understand Toyota has a 100 year dream/vision. I am looking for some research to see if it really exists and if so what is there 100 years dream. Also looking for any other fortune 500 companies that take a longer time horizon than 3-5 years for their vision. I am interested in seeing what can be found on this topic.

2) I am interested in finding a good “leadership styles” assessment or survey……Would like to see what’s in the market place, and what they are assessing. I would like it to assess behaviour but that could be difficult. Please do a market scan on what’s out there.

3) I am looking for what is contained in a best practice leadership program. In the early 2000′s the fielding institute issued their best practice program. It contained things like below. Looking for research to see what the latest best practices are a leadership development program.

* a 360 assessment
* a leadership project
* time spent with executive
* field assignments
* conversations with outside leaders etc

Develop And Build Web Presence

November 15th, 2009 Comments off

We are a small technology and wireless firm in United States. We are planning how to build, implement and maintain a vast network of content with following in mind:
1. Multiple domain names relating to our core business
2. build independent webpages for all of them
3. Use these webpages to expand our reach to potential clients
4. Use them to promote particular services/solutions etc
5. Use them to expand our overall marketing campaigns and targets
6. Use them for educational sites or resources rich with relevant content and videos, demos etc.
7. Use them for Partners and or vendors possibly
8. Use them for social networking, promotion and general outlets

Our vision is to build a network of sites and various resources/channels to promote, educate, share and essentially drive more business for the (3) core businesses and core websites.

We want to integrate social networking sites and communities we belong to into our overall vision and already have (what we would consider) a foundation for our vision.

WE JUST NEED SOMEONE TO:
1. First and foremost UNDERSTAND our vision and goals (because they are very elaborate,but done right and they will be VERY effective)
2. Take that understanding of our vision to help create a clear strategy.
3. begin that path to completion ASAP…WE NEED TO PUT THE FOUNDATION TO WORK SOON
4. And COMPLETE the path/strategy with within a pre-planned timeline (the sooner the better)

—VALUE$$$—

We are looking for a solution that meets our needs and is part of our plans and vision. Money is a factor of course but the ENTIRE scope should be developed first.
Then we can plan the deployment in sections (if needed)

ABOUT US and WHERE WE ARE WITH THIS PROJECT CURRENTLY:

1. We are very design savvy AND we live on the edge of technology so we are very, very resourceful (if you would need us of course)
2. We are usually part of the latest technology and designs etc so we need something that is eye appealing and very functional for the user

3. We have an incredible amount of content (just don’t know where to use it, how to or if at all)
4. We have been working on this for a VERY LONG TIME, we have done a lot of research and have a very clear vision for what the finished project looks and how people will interact with it and us with them.

5. We have done a lot of even the detailed work on layout, content, message, what types of technology to use etc.
I would consider this a project in which we could deliver you something similar to a blueprint of how we see things…we just need someone who can put it together of course!

6. We have a nice set of other sites that we can share to give you an idea how OURS should also look when finished.
With the right person who understands our vision clearly…we are ready to move forward within the next 10 days.

If you are interested, WE MUST SEE YOUR PAST EXPERIENCE IN CREATING SIMILAR PROJECTS (please email us an example of your projects and we will check references as well)

Vision Board Software

June 24th, 2009 Comments off

I need to create a piece of software for PC’s that allows you to create a collage of photos and turn it into one photo.

This would serve the purpose of allowing people to make their own vision board.

A vision board is a where you put pictures of things that you want to have one day in your life to serve the purpose of allowing you to visualise your dreams.

The program would allow you to select one photo as a gif/jpeg/tiff from your harddrive, one at a time and then you would press a button and it would produce your vision board.

You should then be able to print it off the picture generated in different sizes, either:

10cm x 15 cm

A1
A2
A3
A4
A5

It should be a simple to use system that is very user friendly.
