Vbulletin Customizations

October 24th, 2011 Comments off

We have an existing, live vBulletin installation that we would like to customize, specifically add functionality that would allow the user to click a checkbox within a Post and Thread on a master view that would hide that thread.

This functionality is very similar to marking an email as “Read” and having it no longer display with new messages.

Vbulletin Customizations

April 11th, 2009 Comments off

Hello bidders,

We want someone to make massive vBulletin forum customizations for us. We know exactly what the end product we want is, and we worked on the design in-house. This will allow you to start working once we reach an agreement.

The bidding agency/individual should be experienced in all the following aspects of software developments:
1. Deep knowledge of vBulletin
2. PHP
3. MySQL
4. Software design

The customizations will be built into a new forum that doesn’t have any data; we still haven’t even bought the license yet.

The main target of the customizations is to integrate vBulletin as an item reviews module and a discussion board with our web store.

The following points should be considered:
1. Professionalism: if you are planning to experiment and learn on the way then please do not bid, we just want professionals who are truly capable of this level of development.
2. Urgency: we are in a hurry, but we are also picky. We want the outcome ASAP with high level of quality.
3. Communication: the agency/individual should respond to emails quickly, be specific and committed to deadlines
4. The integration should be seamless: users will have the ability to move between the forums and the store smoothly although the store will be hosted on a different server than the forums
5. The integration will act as an independent module that can be attached to any other web store system we might use later (this has been taken care of by our design already)
6. The forums will be hosted on a sub domain under our top level domain
7. Project requirements are in the attached archive, download it to get the project details.
8. Bid smartly: beside this project post we are also asking many professionals for quote by email. In other words bid with your best price because you might not get another chance.

Happy bidding!
