I have a simple JQuery validator running on a form. It works in Firefox, Safari, etc but IE bypasses the validation script. Probably easy for you but I am not smart enough to figure this out. I need an experienced PHP/perl developer to develop a web based bulk email verifier in PHP. The tool should allow users to simply upload the bulk mailing list in a .csv or txt formats (one email per line) and then have the verified emails as an output for download within the web interface.

The tool should support unlimited email lists up to 1,000,000 (one email per line) and must be hyper threaded to run extremely fast.

I need two things:

1. A way to check for invalid characters in a plain text file that contains a list of email addresses. Trying to upload list to a phplist mail program and can’t.

If Microsoft Word or something can quickly scan for invalid characters in email addresses, let me know how to do it (step by step) and I will pay you for this information.

2. A way to validate email addresses so when a person fills out a form an email will automatically be sent to that person which contains a link for them to click. The link would then forward them to a specific page on a website while at the same time, adding that email address to a list of verified email addresses.

I have two websites.

My first site: has 2 broken links, 1 redirect error, 25 css errors, 157 Errors, 3 warning(s). It is easier to see it using the website of w3.org. But I have attached a copy here.

The second site: has 65 Errors, 5 warning(s), 2 broken link, 1 redirect error, 3 anchor error, 14 css errors.

This is a quick and easy project. It should not take more than 4 or 5 hours to complete if you have trouble

Please go to the W3C validator (http://validator.w3.org/) and see 28 errors listed on each page for my website which can be seen at

This website has a custom CMS that allows up to 5 similar pages to be added (the code is similar but the contact is added via a cms so some file paths for content vary on each page).

Please advise is the errors can be fixed and if they should/need be fixed. I am not sure if the errors are a reult of the content beinging dynamically created. You can see the HTML code from “view source,” but full access will be given to the server via ftp once selected.

If they do need to be fixed you need to fix the errors on all 6 pages (index and the 5 pages that can be added).

Please demonstrate you read the post. Programers using cut and paste responses will NOT be considered.

Fluent in english is required.

Wanting a script that will validate my database of member email addresses.

Possibly using this script here – http://freshmeat.net/projects/emailaddressvalidationcomponent

The script should be run when I call it manually and if any address is dead then the script should give me the opportunity to enter a replacement address and a message that emails the new address to let them know that they are the new account holder for the site.

No frills needed – just a basic functional script that does the job.
