I need a site for a vacation rental done in WordPress. The site needs to be clean with white space. It should have a property availability calendar, property feature listing, photos, traveler review section where guests can write a review. A form to contact the owner, etc.

I’m hoping the calendar and owner contact form is a simple widgit but you will need to check on this.

Here is the problem we want to to solve: When searching for vacation condos and houses to rent in a certain area the renter must go to multiple websites and within the site go to multiple units to determine if the unit matches their needs. Once that is complete, the renter must contact the owners and to negotiate the rents down from from their posted retail rental rate unless you are willing to pay the posted rate. This is time consuming and frustrating.

The solution we want to create is to to turn the process around. We want to create a website and online database where a renter enters in the location, dates for the vacation stay, number of bedrooms, and price range they are willing to pay. All of the property owners in the database who have properties that meet the criteria will be emailed whenever a renter is searching for a property that matches what the renter is looking for.

We would also like this program to be set up to send out Tweets and Text messages to both the property owners and the renters when there is a match.

Here is the data we would need in the database from each property owner, all data fields should be searchable:

House or Condo Unit Name, House or Condo Unit location (From a pick list), Location (i.e. if on Hawaii, which island), Number Bedrooms, Number of Baths, E-mail Address, Phone number.

We also need a billing system for the property owners and renters what will interface with Authorize.net and their Automated Recurring Billing (ARB) and Customer Information Manager (CIM) services.

The data we need in the database from the renters is:

General Location (i.e., if Hawaii what island), Specific Location (ie. what area or neibhorhood) Number of Bedrooms, Number of Baths, Price per night requested.

We want a provider to build a website similar to vacation holiday websites. There will be two types of users – “Home Owners” and “Visitors/Travelers”. Home owners will list and maintain their own property with calendar and Travelers will view and inquire about properties. Superadmin will be able to override/assist both types of users. The superadmin needs an admin control panel where he will be able to create different categories of holiday listings with different questions and slightly different display for users depending on the type of listing.
