And wordpress needs update from 3.1 tot 3.3.1

I attempted a WordPress upgrade to the latest version that didn’t work out, so I had to revert to a backup I had stored locally. It pretty much works, but it’s buggy – for example, I can’t access the plugins menu.

So I need someone who knows what they are doing to upgrade my copy of WordPress 2.7.1 to WordPress 2.8.4 safely – back it up, upgrade, get it working, reactivate my plugins, etc.
