Hi I have an older joomla website that I need upgraded from 1.0 to 1.7 the site to be upgraded is playorgambleonline.com. I need a reasonable quote as I do have a small budget for this.

I’m looking for someone well-rounded in Joomla to complete an upgrade to my website from the current Joomla 1.0 version to the current 1.7 version, including upgrade of key components (Media Manager, Virtue Mart, Seyret Music). The original Joomla installation was completed manually in 2008, so I’m unable to do the direct upgrades through my hosting account. Upgrade joomla site editors to the latest versions of Tinymce and JCEutilities. My goal is to easily insert flash or Quicktime files.

I’ve tried to do this myself but am struggling to diagnose the problems. Part of what I would pay you for is a quick tutorial of what I’m did wrong. We manage dozens of Joomla sites so we are looking for a joomla expert to help with various problems such as this.

The website in question is a Joomla 1.0, which I want converted to Joomla 1.5. I would need a back up of the PHP database before the upgrade.

We have about 300 Joomla Sites that need to be backed up (both databases and scripts) and then upgraded to latest version of Joomla, plus upgrade components, install some additional components, organize passwords and such, remove Community Builder and install Joomla Social. Create a WAMP server locally, install Joomla 1.5.11 and Kunena 1.5.1b. Then after making the required modifications, install this plugin and make sure it works (it will add a line to the bottom of each article which links to the forums and indicates the article count).

I am willing to work with a new joomla programmer because this is something I am doing for free and it is only a modification. I will put 50% in escrow and release upon submission of a bot that installs without the legacy error. The other 50% I will release in two weeks after I give the code to kunena forum participants and have others test it.
