I am looking at buying a groupon clone script from contus. I need someone good with Magento to change the look at feel of the site so it looks more like LivingSocial.

On the site pool construction companies should be able to post their information on the site. There will be a tier system. Basic Listing Free, then, upgraded posting (at a cost), and premium posting where they can upload images, banners and links to their websites. Please note that they should be able to log in and update their listings themselves.

Customers or homw owners that are looking for a company should be able to search for pool replaster companies, or pool service companies, by city, zip code, and distance.

The site should also have the ability for the customer to enter their requirements and have the pool replaster companies contact the customer directly. Similar to lending tree where you enter what you are looking for and then the companies contact you directly.

It will have a category for pool contractors, pool service companies, and pool builders.

We are in need of an individual who has expert knowledge and experience with Drupal and setting up modules, blocks and menus. We are looking to create a site that will be used for news. We need a theme created that has the various areas for content, such as news articles, recent articles, advertisements, etc. We are currently using the newsflash them and want to use the suckerfish menu with it. We have much of the site setup but need someone to setup the pages, paths, panels, url aliases, suckerfish, menu, mini panels and blocks/modules(cck,imagecache,views, etc).

We are in need of a strong team who can assist in building a fairly robust web site. How the site will work is this:

-Person will submit an online application
-Based on the information submitted, we would have to have pre-created formulas that are set to qualify the user. Depending on the users debt to income ratio will determine if they qualify or not.
-We will then need to be able to securely and seamlessly integrate credit pulling from within the site.
-If they qualify then the information that they submited on the online application will populate forms that we have created.
-The users can then pay and send in the forms.

It is a CL type site in php with admin area.

Changes that need to be made:
1) Currently there is only 1 page for all listings
we need to have seperate 51 more for other US states and territory
and have the ADMIN reflect this too. (like CL)
Main Page should list all states… and have a cookie set on the users computer that remembers what state they are in and have it afterwards always land on that state page when they visit main site. (much like CL)

2) need the search box to work on “ALL CARS” category only
3) ALL CATEGORIES need to have a list limitation to 100 per page
then have prev 1|2|3|4.. next on bottom
4) Each state have its own banner farm Surrounding the center listings.. on main page only
5) advertise button on bottom or link, that allows user to sign up and u/l banner with also drop down of all states to determine where to place banner. and make payment via paypal and have it send back information that it has been paid and then determining on what state they signed up in have the banner rotate in that state page. (having been paid).
6) have the existing picture uploader for users to automatically reduce size of pic. (300 width)
7) currently when no pic is uploaded it shows an empty sqaure we need a “no image” image to appear instead.
in current USER ADMIN there is no option to add or update photos for their ads.. we need to ADD a Remove/Add feature.
9) Also in order to activate all car ads (only) submitted to site we need to charge $5.00 via paypal and have it verify back to site so it may post car ad automatically after payment.

I will work the design up and then I need you to create the CSS and programming. The site must be very easy to manage and update. Please check the site, www.fgmarket.com, and make sure you are capable of doing it. Also please make sure you can complete the site in the time you tell me you can.

This is to be an exact clone of CL in all functions with some additional features added as well.

When I say a CL clone…I mean that it will be indistinguishable from CL in every way unless I state otherwise.

So, that said, there should be no question as to the look, posting style, page layout, dynamics, or any functionality of the site needed.

This site will however contain different subject matter and different categories from CL. We just want the functionality of CL.

I have put together most of the basic page templates for this site…so in other words the design is done. I do not need a designer just a builder.
These template pages are basically accurate for the layout, colors, buttons, links, categories, and page text.
These templates will be what you will use for the the actual look and content of the site, and I mean you will use them exactly.
Any pages I have not pre-built templates for you can simply go to CL as the model and use that template set. Simple.

In addition, we will need a great backroom admin feature with full and in depth visitor tracking, the ability to edit buttons, fields, text, and if possible background colors, and it needs to be open source so I can have any programmer work on it in the future.

I have been through this already regarding this particular website and have wasted a month with a developer who had lots of promises and ended up not being able to do this job…so let me cover a few important matters.

If you can build an exact copy of CL you will be able to build our site so there shouldnt be too many questions in order for you to know if you can do it or not.

I was told by someone I trust that this site should be built with Joomla and php/mysql applications. It was also mentioned that it would be best of you already had a CL script built and could just apply the few changes we need to the existing script.
Unless you have a good explanation as to why it should be different I am going to want to go with this trusted advice.

Do not bid on this job unless you can actually do this job.

I will not pay any money up front to an unproven developer.
I will pay a percentage when I see real evidence that you can actually do this job. And the rest of the pay will come when the job is up, tested and fully functioning.

“Real evidence” will consist of a functioning website that looks exactly like I need it to look and does exactly what I need it to do.

Evidence will not consist of pre-built classifieds models which are commonly available and emails telling me that you will be able to get it done…you just need more time.
