I am in desperate straits – I have acted as webmaster for a small non-profit for about 10 years, creating a website of community interest in FrontPage.
Unfortunately, they want it updated quarterly, and every quarter I seem to have forgotten everything I knew from the prior session.

In an ideal situation, a qualified tutor would sit with me and get the page working, and then give advice of how to move on to a newer technology.

I am the copyright owner of the content and have already paid for a programmer to create the flash file. He got this far – and the work is exactly what I required and of a very high standard – but he then had to withdraw for personal reasons. I understand he is unable to work and he has not replied to any emails for several months. I am sympathetic to his plight, but need the project finished urgently. The SWF file here is encrypted. Although I believe it is possible to retrieve the design elements, the action code is irretrievable. Therefore it needs rebuilding using the design elements already created. I have already paid the previous programmer 50% of the costs of the project, even though it’s incomplete, so this means that the design elements have been paid for and can be used.

I need someone to exactly recreate this file in FLA and give me both the FLA and resulting SWF files. This is in case I need to edit the project in any way in the future. I need an unencrypted version of both.

There is a mistake in the Vowel section of the Tutor – I can explain this to the winning programmer – but this should be easy to fix as it’s just misplaced text. The only thing left to do is to attach the audio files. I had arranged for a small extra cost ($20) to provide these in WAV form to be optimised and split by the previous programmer. I can also provide them in MP3 format if necessary.

I am doing phone training and use audio clips of telephone calls for training. I put the audio clip of the phone recording in audacity. At a certain part of the recording I need to be shown how to cut that section and insert a recording of me giving them feedback on that part of the call. Then I need you to show me how to either pick back up the recording where we left off or pick up the recording at another future (or past) point in the call.

It is an Online Tution Service Project. You have to make Web Design and J2EE . Make web design a s you like but it must look professional. The features i want in the project are-:
1. There will be two membership types for Tutors andLeaners.There is no age limit fo leaners
2.For every student there would be a charge
3. Course materials would be given and in end of each lesson there would be tests. tests should be able to be created from the admin panel with the addition of courses. In the end of the courses the result of the test would be given.
4. There would be a performance option where the student can see what is his current status, which is his/her weakest lesson of the course.
5. Student can finish the lesson in the given period of time, may that be a whole year or a month. When the Student finishes the course, in the performance would be shown in the performance page and the weakest would shown. The student must start again form the weakest to the strongest.
6.Courses would be for a whole year.

Now i would like to link it to a database. Using mysql, php, xhtml.

First, i would like to create a mysql database for the student and tutor accounts. the information gathered from the existing form should flow into the 2 database. Everytime someone send information via the TUTOR and STUDENTS, he will also create an account using the email as user id which he can login on a separate occassion to adjust his details. Every time a new entry or an amendment comes into either database, it should also send the data by email as an excel sheet.

Next, it has to have an additional tab called COORDINATOR where coordinators can login to access the database on the TUTORS only. It should be able to search the database by latest data, nearest MRT. If possible I can adjust the search types.

Third, it should also has another additional separate staff login. A master login, where I am able to access both the STUDENT and TUTOR database online. I should be able to delete, amend STUDENTS, TUTORS and COOREDINATOR account details. I should be able to add Coordinator accounts. It should be able to search all the database by latest data, nearest MRT. If possible i can adjust the search details.

You must have experience actually building and running adult paysites, including the credit card billing, affiliates, content management systems, security, SEO, PHP/MySQL, and related things.

I have a few “adult” websites, none of which are paysites, although I’d like to turn some of them into paysites. By day I’m an I.T. professional so I do know my way around a computer (and networks)! I have used Flash templates to create Flash-based websites, as well as HTML/cgi websites of course. I’ve studied some PHP/MySQL on my own, but wouldn’t call myself proficient. I pick up things very fast, although I do like a thorough explanation of things so that I know that I “really” know it.

My problem is, that I never learned the specifics of some of the aspects of running an adult paysite (or maybe I know 99% of what I need to know to do some things, but just haven’t connected the dots in my mind, I don’t know). I would like to know what it would take to have you teach me these things. I cannot afford to hire you on as the person to DO these things ongoing, I can only afford (if you’re reasonable!) to have you tutor me in these things, and then I’ll have to do them as I have time. If I enjoy our tutoring sessions, I’ll keep coming back for more, beyond our agreed bid price, and having a relationship with someone with my other skills and assets might be beneficial to both of us! Who knows, if my sites take off, maybe I COULD hire you, or at least help get you other work. In-person is obviously better for communication, and to point to the screen and say “what about that”, but I’m open to your ideas about how you could teach me these things.

Some things right off the top of my head that I’d want to learn are:
- How to set things up to accept credit card auto-rebilling capability (how to CODE it into the site, and also about the PROCESSING COMPANIES – how they do what they do, how I set it up, pitfalls to avoid, which ones are best and the best value, options for support through them, etc.).
- Content management systems. I have a dedicated server that I host all of my sites from. I have “Plesk” to control the domains, get into MySQL, handle mail accounts, etc. I don’t have a CMS in place there for any site, but would like to know if there are any good free ones, or any for under $200 that would make my life a lot easier. I certainly don’t want to have to write HTML each time I want to update pic sets, and I know a CMS should make that a cinch.
- How video works in a paysite (which format is best, possibly how to do pay-per-view but certainly in a paysite!)
- How to keep the site “secure” so that only paid users can get in. I know that there is this “.htaccess” thing, but I don’t know exactly how it works, or if it is the preferred method today.
- The basics of SEO (I know this is an art and science in and of itself, so I don’t expect to become an expert, but an overview would be nice).
- Affiliates
- Marketing strategies

I could probably learn many of these things by scouring the internet and reading how-to docs, but I’d rather just bust it out and learn, and learn from a real person with some real experience to tell me those things only a person can think to add. I want to find somebody with actual adult-industry website experience, because there are probably some industry-specific things to know as well.

I took over a high-end all flash site and need a tutor to help me edit some of the files via Skype. We will work on the same files at the same time and you will teach me step by step how to edit each file.
