I have created a virtual machine via VMWare and installed Trixbox CE 2.8 on it. Basically I need it to make and recieve calls by my voiptalk account, and possibly recieve calls via my Skype account but not essential. And just needs two extions with voicemail creating, one to Xten sofphone and the other to a Cisco 7940G IP phone. No other config needs completing, so very basic.

The person will need to remote on to my machine to configure.

I am having an issue with an openvox A400P card with 4 FXO modules in a trixbox 2.8.0 system.

When an incoming call comes in the sip phones will ring then stop ringing, record a missed call, realise the call is coming in and pick it up for a few seconds then drop again.

it usually picks up and drops 4 or 5 times in the time of 1 incoming ring.

I watched the logs in real time to see what is happening and found that it was detecting a “red alarm” when the call dropped.

It then clears the red alarm and starts ringing after a couple of seconds just to do it all over again

Originally I thought this issue was with only 1 phone line, but over the last day it has affected all of the lines at least once.

I have struggled to find any info on the forums and google around this, I did find a few people saying that dahdi has only recently started checking the alarms, so im hoping there is a way to disable this check or any other way to solve the issue.

I have trixbox and also vista home edition & several microphones. I been trying in my spare time for weeks and been recording audio files and have been able to get one that will work. I need someone to tell me of a free software that I can download to do this with step by step instructions and proper formats to record the trixbox audio files. I will pay as soon as trixbox takes them and can play them. I am paying for a result not to try which I been doing all this time.

I have a running trixbox server. Im looking for someone to configure it and connect 2 DIDs I have to it. Further to configure 2 sipuras, so I can start making outbound calls as well as receive inbound calls.

1. We need our lines that we already have to be connected to our up and running trixbox server and sipura units on the other end and working,

2. I want to be able to redirect my calls and record them if possible when I want to.

2. Also we need to learn or to set up a system for additional line setup if needed on our OWN without any outside help for possible new clients.

3. International calling would be a big plus.

That’s it as of now.

I have configured my Trixbox 2.2.3 with my Magicjack sip information. I don`t have luck gotten outgoing or incoming to work, I need the following:

Get Magic Jack incoming and outcoming to work on my trixbox

Take note My trixbox are using 2 Linksys SIP3102 as FXO-FXS ports.

Hi I installed Trixbox CE with two trunks. I able able to receive incoming calls from both the trunks. But i want to set up each trunk to different extensions.Right now i can able to make outgoing calls with trunk one only. I read in some forms i need to install custom context module which i did. but i am not able to work it out.

If you can teach me how to set up different sip trunks to different extensions. that will be great and help full, i am ready to pay you 10 dollars an hours. Depending upon the service i have more trixbox issues to resolve.

I have configured my Trixbox with my Magicjack sip information. I have gotten outgoing to work, but not incoming. I need the following:

Get incoming to work
Configure 1 main voicemail and 5 mailboxes, each with forward to cellphone, if cell isnt picked up in 3 rings to drops user to voicemail.
