Brick Layout Animation Or Transition Effect For A Picture

July 6th, 2011 Comments off

Description:

I have a simple picture of a building which I need to display (in a PowerPoint), but instead of displaying directly, it needs to transition into view as if it’s being built brick by brick. So at first there’s just one “brick” at the bottom left (which is actually just a rectangular piece of the final picture), which is then joined by the next brick, and so on, until the whole image is built. You can introduce new bricks as a flying, fading or simply instant transition – whichever is easier for you, but my preference is in the above order.

To get an idea of a brick wall layout:

http://www.newphotosgalleries.com/brick-wall-design-and-model/brick-wall/

Note that I don’t want any brick texture, remember that each brick is just a part of the picture. The above image is just for the layout reference. The size and the number of the bricks don’t matter, but there should be enough bricks to keep a crowd entertained for around 5 minutes.

Deliverables:

Now preferably, I want this done as a custom PowerPoint 2007 transition, so I can easily incorporate it into my existing presentation. (So I can have the freedom to change the length of the transition, change the final picture etc, if needed)

*HOWEVER*, if it’s not possible for you to do the above, then I don’t mind a regular animation, provided to me as a video or GIF file. In this case, I will provide you with the starting and ending pictures, so you can animate the transition between them. (I will then insert this video/gif in my ppt, which will act like a transition.)

*** Please note that the duration of the animation should be around 5:53 (5 minutes and 53 seconds). ***

Deadline:

I want this done within 24 hours after I choose the winning bid. Please note that this deadline CANNOT be extended under no circumstances, so don’t bid on this project if you’re not sure if you can finish it in time.

Bid Selection Criteria:

Anyone is welcome to bid, newcommers as well. However, if you’re a newcommer then I would like to see a small sample animation as described above, so that I know you understand what I want, and I know that you can do it.

Please choose your bid amount wisely – consider how/what you’re going to do (ppt transition or video/gif, flying bricks or fading bricks or instant bricks..). Finally, don’t forget the time limit!

Just FYI:

This animation will go in a slideshow for a charity event. We are conducting this event to raise funds for the construction of this building. The premises will be used for various community events. So please be considerate and bid appropriately. Thanks!

Flash Animation

March 17th, 2010 Comments off

Request:

A flash animation to work as a transition between website categories.

At the start the content area must be covered by a “loading” animation followed by a page curl type of transition, where the “blank” loading screen is be peeled off to reveal the now loaded content.
Basically all we require is the loading and mostly a page curl animation with the following parameters:

- page curl/peel from left to right;
- width:699px;
- height: 408px;

Webpage where the transition is to be applied: http://certomablack.europtnet.com/html/?pageid=1157

Example: like www.logowords.pt but with page curl

Flash Presentation 2

December 16th, 2009 Comments off

Hi,
Basically this flash presentation that i need to create is for a financial wealth management company that will use this ether through a browser to present or an .exe file to present to their clients.

it would be like a PowerPoint presentation consisting of probably 5 slides, but it will need to be very smooth and creative between the transitions and overall feel to the flash work.

There will be information on all the slides but only 2 of the slides will have a section where it would have a link to another slide and or information that will show. (Perhaps like a show / hide type text or better effect with action script)

There is a theme that will be showing all through the slide (stepping stone like image)

** (all images and text will be provided)

The flash work will need to be created having in mind that in the near future it will be expandable so that it can have room to add more slides and information.

Overall the presentation will need to be crisp, fresh and creative.
Colour concepts on slides will be told when starting the work.

Visually:

we really want the animation effect to be smooth, and sophisticated. we need some really nice transition effect because the content is really thin and I think it’s going to be the transition effect that is what my client will be most impressed with’.

Also:

once chosen a programer i will need a sample of the transition effect before you really get stuck into it? my plan is to show my client the effect, get it approved, and then he can’t change his mind. We’re just making sure we have approval on every stage.

This will need to be complete by the end of the week.

Natural Language Processing

Markov models TP:

1. Draw the transition digraph corresponding to the stochastic matrix

A = ( 0,6 0,4)
(0,5 0,5)

Label the edges with the transition probabilities.

2. From your lecture: slide 12, compute the probability X= {sunny, cloudy, snowing, rainy}.

3. A particle moves on a circle through points which have been marked 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 (in a clockwise order). At each step, it has a probability (p) of moving to the right and (1 − p) to the left. Let Xn denote its` location on the circle after the nth step. The process {Xn, where n equals or more than 0} is a Markov chain. a) Find the transition probability matrix. b) Is this markov chain irreducible?

4. Each morning an individual leaves his house and goes for a run. He is equally likely to leave either from his front or back door. Upon leaving the house, he chooses a pair of running shoes (or goes running barefoot if there are no shoes at the door from which he departed). On his return he is equally likely to enter and leave his running shoes, either by the front or back door. If he owns a total of k pairs of running shoes, what proportion of the time does he run barefooted? Write transition probabilities matrix for this task.

5. Having a transition matrix:

A B C D

A 1 0 0 0

B .9 0 .1 0

C 0 .9 0 .1

D 0 0 0 1

a) Give a diagraph of the Markov chain. Vertices are states, edges should be labeled with transition probabilities.

b) If we start in state B, what is the probability of being in state A after 8 transitions? (If you can’t do the matrix multiplications, at least write out the matrix expression indicating the answer.)

c) If we start in state B, what is the probability of being in state D after 4 transitions?

d) If we start in state C, what is the probability of being in state A after 16 transitions? What is the probability of being in state D?

Edit Javascript Mouseover

November 26th, 2009 Comments off

I need a programmer to take an existing Javascript that I have installed on a website and clean it up so that it functions more correctly. I have used the Brothercake Transitions script to create a crossfade image replacement on my homepage. The code is intended to crossfade an image when clicked, but I want it to do so on rollover and rollout. I have it working, but it is buggy. I need to make sure these specifics are fixed…

1. Images transition without exposing background.
2. Images transition back immediately on mouse out.
3. Z-index values do not change during transition.
4. Transition speed is increased.

If there is a better script than I am using that will accomplish a crossfade (not a simple replacement), that is fine. Otherwise, if we can work within the existing script, that would be the best.

This should be easy work for someone familiar with Javascript. I am unfortunately not one of those people. Thanks for your help!

Flash Transition Page

August 20th, 2009 Comments off

I need a transition page for my website – just some flash animation to show to my users while the next page is loading.

You will make use of my already designed logo – so there will be very little design work on your part. You’ll just need to put the logo into action with some movement.

Under the logo I want lines of text. One line appears and then a few seconds later the next line appears.

I should mention this here – for the text that will be under the animation of my logo…

I need somebody who can program for me a way to randomly select from different lines of text. That way people won’t have to read the same thing every time they see the animation.

And, I need to be able to go into the code and write different lines whenever I want. Any questions about this please ask.

Please send me links to your work.

Php Transition Ad Script

July 12th, 2009 Comments off

This script is an ad server that puts full-page transition ads inbetween pages on a website.

This is a transition ad:
http://adon.typepad.com/photos/uncategorized/transitionad.gif

A good example of what I want the ads to look like is here:
http://www.adonnetwork.com/public/adsamples_tr.html

So basically, a user clicks on a link on a site that is running the script, and they are redirected through the transition page to the page they want to get to.

I will provide full details to users after they send me a message on the PMB. I have a two and a half page document written up about this, but I would rather not post it here.

The script includes a simple administrative area, a simple members area, and will be based on a MySQL database.

I expect frequent updates via either e-mail or an instant messaging program – and I expect to work with the programmer until the script is bug free and matches my original expectations. Once the project is completed and I pay for it, the programmer will no longer have rights to the code, and I will hold the only rights to the script.

Website Creation/transition

March 18th, 2009 No comments

Our site was built about 4 years ago with Joomla! Over the years
there have been a few updates and cosmetic changes to the site but it is time for a long-overdue face lift
and change.

The site is built with Joomla! 1.0 and has a vBulletin forum mashed to
work with it. In order to get certain things to work, some hacking had to be done to get the site to work with the VB
forums and Joomla!. Ideally we want the new site to look modern but built with TWO major
concepts in mind. The new site MUST be super, super, super SEO friendly
and it has to be based around some CMS program or else we won’t be able
to edit and maintain it on our own. Our major issue is that the site has
a substantial amount of data that must be transferred to the new site
seamlessly. Our forum posts can’t be lost or else the entire site will
die. Plus our established links that are indexed by Google need to stay
the same for SEM reasons.

Here are some features the new site must have:

- Guides
- Articles written by community members
- Perhaps blogs by certain users
- Forums
- Store selling related items

The store needs to have a review feature so that the community members
can review the products. Since we are not financially in a position to
stock up to 200-300 different products in a warehouse right now, our
store will be a “quasi-store” for at least a few months consisting of no
“cart” feature, but instead “buy now” links will be affiliate redirects
to manufacturer’s sites.

We are hoping to take advantage of as many pre-built programs and features out there to use to
save time and money. Getting it all the components to speak with each
other and work seamlessly (and look great and be super SEO friendly) is
the critical part.

Please realize that we need the best people we can find to work on this project.
