Add A Cart Total Value To A Confirmation Email

November 23rd, 2011 Comments off

Requirement: To add a shopping cart total to a confirmation email.

We have a custom built shopping cart (in php – codeigniter) which checks out via Sagepay. When the transaction passes to Sagepay, the correct total for the shopping cart appears on the screen (so for example if you have 2 products at .10 and one at .50 it will show .70). On completion of the successful transaction, Sagepay makes a callback to our site, which changes the status of the transaction in our system, and then fires…

Paypal Integration

August 29th, 2011 Comments off

Hi there programmers,

I need a PayPal integration with my PHP site.

The PayPal integration should fulfill following workflow:
1. The user logs into my site
2. The user chooses amount of money to transfere through PayPal
3. The user pays over PayPal (without logging in – very important! Use Adaptive Payments / Guest Payments)
4A. If the transaction is cleared -> a stored procedure is called on our database -> a <SPAN> is updated with a text like “The money is now available”
4B. If the transaction is not cleared -> user is being transfered to a help page

I have a PayPal merchant account ID ready to be used, however, for the development, please use your own.
As you can see of the above, its a classic PayPal integrations, however following are special requirements:
- Use Adaptive Payments / Guest Payments – I dont want the users to login/register at PayPal to be able to pay!
- A MySQL Stored Procedue with a.) UserID, b.) Amount c.) Currency should be called if the transaction is succesfull

Have a good day.

Need Help With Some Mysql Queries

June 14th, 2011 Comments off

I’m writing some mysql queries for a reporting application and need some help in creating five different main queries.

It may be a combination of mysql with php to get the exact results.

I have a table with one transaction per row … it includes user_id, transaction id, date, product (and other fields which are unrelated)

The queries I need to create are:
(1) how many results for a particular month for new users (i.e. this is the first occurrence of that user_id)
(2) how many results for a particular month where there was no transaction for a user_id that, no transactions in the next two months, but there was in a previous month
(3) how many transactions for a particular month where the user has a transaction this month and the product ID for the current month is a “higher level” we have a separate table to determine levels) than in previous months
(4) how many transactions for a particular month where the user has a transaction this month and the product ID for the current month is a “lower level” than previous months
(5) how many transactions for a particular month where the user has a transaction this month, did not have one the previous two months, but has one at the same level prior to that 3 months ago.

Programming Techniques

Overview of the problem

You are to develop software for a simple banking situation. In the banking system we have customers who have bank accounts. Customers access those accounts via ATMs, on-line, phone and bank branches. Some of these accesses of those accounts give rise to transactions. We need to model the fact that customers have accounts and that there are transactions on those accounts. Normally a customer might have many accounts but in this assignment we will deal with just a savings account.

OO Modelling

We might model such a scenario using three types of object: one for Customers, one for BankAccounts and another for Transactions. In terms of data required, for Customers assume we need a name, an address and a savings account. An array of Customers should be used. For the savings account assume we require an account number, a balance (amount) and an interest rate. For transactions assume we need an account number the transaction applies to, an amount being transacted and a transaction type (such as Deposit, Withdrawal or Interest ). Details of the transactions are held in a file called

Form-credit Card Transaction

March 9th, 2010 Comments off

I have a cgi-script that can link to a form that sends buyers to my banks website for a secure credit card transaction.
I need a programmer to create a form that will collect the information when they place their order and send them to the banks site where they will enter their card number and details. Once approved they will be sent a page (generated php) with their order details and a thank-you message that they can print.

Secure Payment Processing Site

February 27th, 2010 Comments off

I have had to repost this project due to the previous programmer seems to have lost interest in it.

I am about to launch an ADULT site, however I need someone to create a site where my users can submit their payment details (credit cards) and then these details are saved on the system. Staff are then notified of the pending transaction, and log into the site and process it.

We have an offline eftpos machine, which will do all the actual processing of the cards – so the site is really just being used as a secure environment for the card details to be stored.

In addition to this, we would like to also offer our customers the option of being able to deposit funds directly into our bank account. So this would mean, that each transaction is automatically given a reference number, and the customer is provided with the bank details for this to occur. They are then told to use the reference number as a note on their bank deposit so that it can easily be tracked.

I would ideally be hoping for the back end to look similiar to a shopping cart’s control panel – eg, see all the transactions on the screen, and simple click approve/decline on each transcation as we process it, and also provide some notes on it.
The customer would then automatically be emailed of the update to their transaction.

Extra interest would be given to programmers who are willing to link it into our actual adult site – eg, when we approve someones transaction of $20, it automatically credits their account by $20 on the site.

As always,

+ I am only interested in ESCROW payment on completion.

+ As your suggestions (that I think are a good idea) and questions come through, I will post them on here as additions, so that everyone has a fair playing field.

+ Happy bidding and keep the bids real!

User Transaction Website.

February 2nd, 2010 Comments off

I need an experienced programmer to design a site where users can post items for sale and others can purchase them. It will serve as portal for user to user transaction, more in the form of ebay. Only in this case, users do not bid, the seller posts his/her price and the buyer purchases it. The site will use a third party escrow company to process transactions. Also, I am interested in a very nice design so I’ll need a person with good design as well as programming skills.

Integrate Paypal Into My Site

December 11th, 2009 Comments off

I am looking for someone who can integrate PayPal into my site.

I have a membership cost, and my site is setup currently to accept payments with PayPal, however, the user is taken to PayPal to complete the transaction, then they are returned to my site. I want it so that the user never leaves my site, and the transaction is handled behind the scenes, but still by PayPal. I store their transaction ID in my database, so I would need to capture that as well.

I guess this can be done using PayPal API? But I am looking for someone who has done this before.

Process A Csv File

October 30th, 2009 Comments off

We have a financial csv file containing financial details that will be extracted from paypal each month.

Your job would be to process this file and categorize and summarize the contents.

You would maintain in a simple database (could just be a text file) a list of rules concerning categorization and report accordingly.

Essentially this is just a data extraction project with the ability of the user to add/modify/delete their own categories and choose which field(s) and part of/all contents of these fields are “defined” as a category.

This gives the ability to assign their own categories to any transaction in the csv file.

The CSV file contains both debits and credits (sales, money transfers, refunds, purchases, etc).

A debit transaction is a minus figure, a credit transaction is a positive figure.

Fee’s are paypal charges in a separate field and need to be tracked as well.

To categorize a specific transaction the user should select

a) debit or credit

b) The Type e.g. “Refund” or “Payment Sent” or “Payment Received” or “Subscription Payment Received” (there are many others) – This maps to a field in the CSV file.

In the case of debits

c) The name (another csv field) would “map” to a specific user specified category

d) the currency (USD, AUD, etc), gross amount, fees, and nett figures (all csv fields) would be retrieved

In the case of credits

e) The item title (if NOT empty) is the major classification for category

otherwise if title is empty then the name and from email address is used as the category

f) the currency (USD, AUD, etc), gross amount, fees, and nett figures

In the case of e) and f) all are csv fields.

Some types see b) above are not to be included in the processing (you would ignore this record and not include it in figures).

Unless a record is “excluded” as per the rule about it should always be included.

For each “category” of records about you maintain a separate running total.

Note the “Category” shown here is the user entered category (see below).

At the end of the file, you would create a summary file showing all categories, number of entries per category, and amounts (totals, and fees).

You would also create a new csv file containing a category code, date, and transaction reference (unique field in original CSV file).

Effectively this is all the “records” which have been processed, but assigned to their categories.

Another file would also be created containing all records that a category could not be found for (no rules were entered by the user). This is so the user could see the records, and then enter rules for these records, and re-process the csv file. Eventually this file would be empty as all records got categories.

All user specified categories would need to be permanently recorded in a database (might just be a text file) so that future processing uses these settings.

The user needs to be able to add/edit/delete these categories.

Finally, there needs to be a file that is created to record any tax payable or deductable for australian orders.

If an order is placed for a business in australia, 10% GSt is applicable, and if a customer makes a purchase and the live in australia, 10% GST is applicable.

This file would contain any records that meet this criteria so the relevant amount can be submitted to the tax department.

Both the details of each transaction and the overall total of GST for debits and total of GST for credits needs to be recorded, together with all transactions.

Determining whether a record is needing to be included as a “GST” transaction involves looking for several possibilities searches (all in the original csv file).

1) If the Country field has data in it, include if the value is “Australia”
2) If the email address for the record has “.com.au” as part of it.
3) If another field says “Non-US”.

It will be a combination of 1 or more of these parameters.

There may be more minor functionality than listed here (to do with categories) but this is effectively what we are looking for.

The program can have a GUI Interface or just be command driven.

Any language is fine, but please indicate which language you will be using.

Thanks

A Couple Freelance Site Fixes

October 18th, 2009 Comments off

I am building a simple freelance site that is a very stripped down version of Scriptlance. Before bidding, please note that the site is adult related. There are no images or anything that would really be considered offensive on the site, however.

Here are the fixes I would like done:

1) I am having one problem with PayPal deposits. The deposits to & from the PayPal accounts work fine. However, after the user’s funds are added to my PayPal account, the site is not crediting the user’s account. I can credit these by hand through admin, but this should be an automated process. I believe the script is supposed to do this, but I am guessing there is an error somewhere.

2) I would like the transaction log in admin to display the newest transaction first. I would also like the date to be displayed. Currently, the list is sorted by ID# with new transactions added at the end.

3) When a user goes to the ‘deposit funds’ page, a new transaction is created in the log as soon as they are transferred to PayPal…before they even submit the funds. A transaction should only be created after it has been processed and accepted by PayPal.

Cs Cart Payment Integration

September 15th, 2009 Comments off

I am looking for someone experienced with php or CS Cart to be able to setup my cart so i can take payment at CardSave’s hosted payment page at checkout (www.cardsave.net). Instructions are given below, and it should be very simple to complete. My website is www.capitalcaterers.co.uk, and it uses CS Cart for my shopping cart, so you should be able to work with this.
Instructions :
The payment page is hosted, all you need to do is jump across to the payment form at the point of transaction. You can see this in action at http://www.iridiumcorp.co.uk/Pages/Showcase/HostedPaymentForm.aspx. Control is then passed back to your shopping cart after the payment process is completed (happens as an HTTP POST with variables detailing what happened with the transaction)
To do this, the cart needs to “jump” (done by an HTTP POST, with some transaction variables) across to:
https://mms.cardsaveonlinepayments.com/Pages/PublicPages/PaymentForm.aspx
The documentation (and link to the helper page) is on that page itself. The helper page will make this integration method *much* easier.
All instructions are here, and it should be very quick to achieve. The skin will also need to match something similar to mine.

the system should set the member’s Upgrade Status to INACTIVE.

If a member uses an E-check, the system should set the
member’s Upgrade status to INACTIVE and I should receive
an email stating that I have received an E-check. If the
E-check comes back as cleared or completed, the system
should set the member’s Upgrade Status to ACTIVE and I
should receive another email stating the status of the
E-check. If the E-check does not come back as Cleared, then
the system should set the member’s Upgrade Status to:
INACTIVE. (Note: You can check out my IPN file the
notify.php to see how the IPN and E-check messages are set
up).

Now whenever a member’s Upgrade status is set to: ACTIVE,
his ClickBank Nickname is automatically inserted into the 5
top sites on his affiliate page and he can also add his 4
personal member links. If a member’s Upgrade Status is set
to INACTIVE, his ClickBank Nickname is NOT inserted into
the 5 top sites on his page and he Cannot add his 4 personal
member links. Instead, my admin default ClickBank Nickname
will be inserted and my 4 personal links will be inserted on
his affiliate page. Note: I will add my ClickBank Nickname
and personal links in the Admin Control Panel.

Social Networking Site

July 28th, 2009 Comments off

Company overview:
GotTunez is a social network that networks Unsigned Artist and DJ’s. GotTunez enables DJs across the globe to get paid in addition to events to play new upcoming artists tracks. DJs are able to use GotTunez to choose the tracks they wish to play from unsigned artist and then determine the amount they wish to receive for the song play at the DJs event. They are paid per play.
GotTunez enables artist to market their music from home to DJs that play in clubs and events all over the world. Artist can buy credits on our sites, and then request a DJ to play his or her song at a specific event for the dj desired amount of credits. If the dj accepts the song the dj desired credit amount is then subtracted from the artist account.
Write now the site is under construction, However It is already tangible and the basis of the site is all already created such as user accounts, messaging, profiles, event searches, DJ searches, artist search, blogs, comments, and credit purchasing e-commerce. This has all been created in php and MySQL in a “SocialEngine” environment. On the Admin side as far as e commerce we already have ability to set the value of credits in dollars; i.e., 25 credits = $100 and generate transaction reports.

Easy Infusionsoft Api Script

July 20th, 2009 Comments off

This should be a very simple job for someone that has worked with the InfusionSoft application before:

I have a tracking pixel that will be installed on a “Thank You” page after a sale is made from an InfusionSoft order form. This “thank you” page is actually another order form (from within the InfusionSoft application).

I need two variables from within the InfusionSoft application to populate this tracking pixel (Order.ID & Invoice.TotalPaid). These two variables will be retrieved from the previous order page. If you have worked with InfusionSoft before, I think you have to use the OrderID from the InfusionSoft database in order to grab those variables (possibly by using AJAX to call a PHP script that hooks into the InfusionSoft API and uses the OrderID from the query string in order to grab the needed variables).

Here is the tracking pixel:

<script src=”http://affiliates.offeratti.com/i_sale_third/39/LINE_ITEM_STRING/TRANSACTION_ID/OPTIONAL_INFORMATION”></script> <noscript><IMG SRC=”http://affiliates.offeratti.com/i_track_sale/39/LINE_ITEM_STRING/TRANSACTION_ID/OPTIONAL_INFORMATION”></noscript>

LINE_ITEM_STRING = Invoice.TotalPaid (InfusionSoft variable needed)
TRANSACTION_ID = Order.ID (InfusionSoft variable needed)

Mid-square Hashing Program

July 14th, 2009 Comments off

1) The random access file program of section 8.8 uses the division-remainder method to
hash a record’s key to its relative address in the file. one competing method, known as mid-square hashing, works as follows: given a key with N digits, to compute a relative address with K digits, we square the key and then extract the middle K digits from the squared key. for example, if N is 9 and K is 4, we have
sample key: 200120472
key squared: 40048203313502784
middle 4 digits: 3313

revise the program of section 8.8 so that it uses mid-square hashing.

sec 8.8) The BNPL (“Borrow Now, Pay Later”) Credit Bureau maintains a master file that lists, for each of its customers, the social security number, name, current principal that the customer owes, and his or her credit limit. the master file might be
222-11-33-49 Nancy Zoe 51.20 5000.00
333-22-1265 Willard Smith 2341.50 4500.00

The BNPL Credit Bureau also maintains a transaction file that tracks its customers’ loans and payments. each record in this file lists the customer’s social security number, together with the transaction’s amount and its date. A positive number indicates a payment, and a negative number indicates a loan. for example, the entries
333-22-1265 +25.00 9-7-96
222-11-3349 -1273.00 9-18-96
333-22-1265 -1350.50 9-18-96

mean that customer 333-22-1265 paid back $25.00 on 9-7-96 and borrowed $1,350.50 on 9-18-96 and that customer 222-11-3349 borrowed $1,273.00 on 9-18-96. once a month the BNPL Credit Bureau updates its mater file by processing entries in the transaction file. Assume that the master file entries are sorted by social security number but that the transaction file is not sorted. write one program that creates a transaction file, another that sorts the transaction file, and a third that updates the master file.

Clickbank Clone Script

June 29th, 2009 Comments off

We are serious ( check our feedback carefully, two projects went wrong but you should check the entire feedback list)

Affiliation Platform project

I would like to get a site similar to www.clickbank.com It will require a few additions that www.clickbank.com does not have.

It should be able to process payments by PayPal, also using PayPal Website Payments Pro .

Do not bid, unless you can provide a limited example of this system and can continue to support it over the long term. If you bid, please provide a link to the trial system within 2 weeks.

I will pick the winner at the end of two weeks. You will then have 45 days to build the application and website.

The script must be coded in PHP and utilise MYSQL

If you are up to the challenge and possible long term revenue making opportunity. Please bid. DO NOT BID unless you know you can deliver this project in the time line. It must be professional and bug free.

You should base this upon a complete clone of www.clickbank.com with a few added features. Some of these features include adding:

The seller can add more than one product on the same account, and may be able to have more than 1 sale page as well.

The site won’t be charging any fees for the seller for any registrations, even if the seller is adding more products and sales pages.

Opposite to Click bank, we want the sellers to have the possibility to have 2 options for the download of his products. 1) Using the downloading system in our Affiliation server and 2) Allow the seller to enable his products download from his server (a third party server) at a cost of 2 Euros by month, however. this option have to be set up by the seller.

When a commission is confirmed, the name of the product sold has to be in the transaction records of the affiliate from who the sale came from..

Whenever a purchase or a refund has been confirmed, an email of such transaction has to be send automatically to the affiliate that is at the origin of that transaction.

We have to be able to create new categories of offered products, and a filter is to be used to perform a triage of the kind of product in a particular section : example : Software, EBooks, script of membership, each seller must have the capability to choose himself in which category does his product have to go.

For each sub affiliates subscribed by an registered affiliate that sales a product, that affiliates have to receive 1 euro of commission..

When an affiliate connect to his account, each of his product that are placed into the marketplace must have a affiliation code with a possibility of doing a

Classified Ads With A Kick

Classified Ads With a Kick, For a Particular Product Line

This website will deal with a specific type of product, which I will keep confidential for the time being. The type of product involved does typically have an expiration date. The site’s primary content will be “descriptions” of many of the hundreds of products that fall within this product line we are dealing with. These descriptions may be created by admins or by registered users of the site. Users will attach free classified advertisements called “tickets” to these descriptions. The site will initially begin with no content at all. All content will be added by the site admin (me), or users. Users will have an eBay-style private message area where they may receive and respond to messages from site admin and other users they are completing a deal with. A blog and community forum will also be attached to the site.

The site must be compatible with IE 6, 7, 8, and Firefox. An per-existing or custom content management system will be necessary in order to allow me to make changes when necessary. The CMS must afford differing levels of control between system admins and site moderators. Written in Pphp using a LAMP setup (Linux, Apache, MySql, php). I would like the ability to add one-line text ads throughout the page. I would like to be able to add Google AdWords text ads on the sides of the page.

The timeframe for completion is 3 and one half months, with a two week beta testing period.

Please provide separate quotes for coding, design, and both together. You may separate the optional items or include them in the quote as you wish.

The descriptions will include the following information: product title, product description, retail price, optional link to corresponding forum post, optional expiration date, optional links to product info, and number of completed sales of this product on the website IF greater than zero. This sales number will of course be dynamic content. There will also be a place for users to vote the described product up or down. A description may only be edited by the creator, the site admin, or a moderator that the admin has assigned.

The home page will show various featured product descriptions. There will be a search box to search for product descriptions by key word(s). The search results may then be sorted by the following fields: Featured (default), Popular, Rating, Newest, Most Available, and Expired. Continue reading for descriptions of these fields.

The home page will have navigation tabs at the top, which sort the descriptions in different ways for the user. The tabs will be: Featured (default), Popular, Rating, Newest, Most Available, Regional, and Expired. When clicking on a tab, the entire web page will change. I would like to limit the use of AJAX and advanced technologies. No Flash is to be used.

Here are how the descriptions are sorted either by clicking tabs, or by sorting a key word search:

-Featured: Description order is determined by internal site administrator (me)
-Popular: Products described that have the most completed sales on our website come first (see below for more information on how this sales process works)
-Rating – The product description’s rating as voted by users. Users points may be weighted (see below under optional items).
-Newest – Most recently added descriptions
-Most Available – Descriptions with the most classified ads (tickets) attached to them
-Regional – Clickable map above. Below, sorted by state and then city with a number in parentheses showing how many offers exist for the particular city. Cities can be added.

Connected to the descriptions will be free classified advertisements called Tickets. The site will enable registered users (free registration) to post free classified tickets for the exact product in the description if they have one that they would like to sell. In the same way, users may also post a tickets under a product description if they are looking to buy one of the described products.

Tickets will include the following information:
-Product Title – This is automatically populated from the description that the new ticket is being connected to
-Link to the “Description” the ticket is associated with. Again, this is automatically populated.
-”For Sale” or “Looking to Buy” designation
-Price (determined by creator of ticket – This can be the same or different from the retail price on the description
-Payment methods accepted or offered, depending on whether it is a “For Sale” or “Looking to Buy” ticket. (eg. PayPal, Google Checkout, personal check)
-Any information that will be needed or given upon completion of the sale (ex. Name and address, telephone number, etc.)
-Detailed user score information – This is the score of the individual posting the ticket. It is derived from e-Bay style feedback from other users in prior transactions.
-The creating user’s ID or name will be kept anonymous at this stage

After you click on a product description, you will see the tickets below it that users have added that are associated with that product. If there are more “For Sale” tickets, these will show first, and there will be a tab to click for “Looking to Buy” tickets. If there are more “Looking to Buy” tickets, then the opposite will take place. There will be a couple of boxes you can check above the tickets to select “show only FOR SALE tickets” or “show only LOOKING TO BUY tickets”.

Users will then have the ability to sort tickets after clicking into a product description. They can sort by the following fields:
-Ticket creator’s user score high to low
-Ticket creator’s user score low to high
-Ticket price high to low
-Ticket price low to high

When a user accepts a ticket (ex. They want to buy a product offered in a “For Sale” ticket), the original creator of the ticket (not necessarily the creator of the description) is notified and asked if they would also like to accept. This gives them a chance to look at the receiving party’s detailed user score before completing the transaction. The receiving party is also kept anonymous at this stage.

If the offering party accepts:

-Both parties are prompted to make payment of our fee to the website. The fee will initially be heavily discounted for the first months of site operation, but they need to see that in the future, the fee will be the greater of $2 or 10% of the product cost. We will accept payment via PayPal or Google Checkout, including credit cards used via either of these payment gateways,
-When payment is made, usernames are revealed to the two parties, and the two users may begin to communicate through messaging each other in the user message area (not the forum messaging area) to exchange pertinent information.
-User messages must be automatically filtered to prevent the exchanging of email addresses, etc.
o If attempting to submit a message with a filtered word/s, the writer gets a
notice telling them “Unless you wish to edit, the following words will be
removed from your post in accordance with our terms..” The removed words
will be highlighted in red in the message. They will then have the option
to click “Edit” or “Submit”. An alert with the original message as typed
before filtering will be sent to the board moderator and site admin for
their information.
-The two parties are able to rate each other any time after payment. Ratings will include:
o An overall rating of one to five stars
o Sub-category ratings (these do not affect the overall rating)
_ Timeliness of money transferred
_ Accuracy of the ticket information
_ Communication
o An optional text review of 140 characters or less
-The two parties’ ratings of each other are not published until BOTH RATINGS have been submited, unless:
o If the receiving party’s rating has been submitted for 5 full calendar days
already with no rating submitted from the offering party. In this case, the
receiving party’s rating is published and the offering party no longer has
the opportunity to rate the receiver.
o If the receiving party never completes a rating, then no ratings will be
published, even if the offering party has submitted a rating to be
published.

If the offering party does not accept the receiver, the offering party is asked if they need to block this kind of offer or this user in the future, leading them to a new page
-Offering party may block
o the same offer from the same user,
o and/ or the user altogether,
o and/ or the same offer from all users

User Forum considerations
-users can add to each others’ forum reputation scores as at slickdeals.net user forum
-separate forum private messages
-filters on posts and private messages (with clear warnings as in the main site user messages above)
-free registration
-normal forum capabilities for registered users – search, avatar, etc.

Optional Items

*Even if these items are not implemented initially, the site must be constructed so that they may be added later if desired.

-The ability to add a ticket to your “Watching” list of tickets you want to consider for the future.
-A link beside the search box for “Ticket Search” where you may search only tickets b(not descriptions) by a key word(s)
-If a product expires before the expiration date, a user can tag the description as expired through a link on the description that says “Mark as Expired”. When this is done, a statement in red text will be put on the description that says “A user has tagged this product description as expired. Please vote it expired or active here.” The product will become expired when it reaches a certain number of votes of expiration from users. If the point balance goes to zero or a negative number from people voting it active, the warning in red will go away.
-Safari compatibility is a plus.
-The ability to change the site’s background/ wallpaper from time to time is a bonus.
-When users vote on the rating of an offer, or whether an offer is expired, their points are weighted. Here are things that give weight to a user’s vote:
o 10 points for completed sales transaction
o If 4 stars user rating, multiply transaction points by 2. If 5 stars,
multiply by 3

o 2 points for each level of Forum Rating attained
o 1 point for each portion of a year as a user
o 1 point for each 10 Forum posts
- User’s points can be set to 0 by admin if I don’t want their vote to count.

Graphic Design Considerations

-The “For Sale” And “Looking To Buy” tickets should be differing colors.
-A female graphic artist is preferable.
-no Adobe Flash
-appealing to both genders and a variety of ages and demographics
-clean looking
-offers should be enclosed in an empty, rounded rectangle
-tickets should be enclosed in the shape of a luggage tag
-minimal javascript if any
-800 pixel fixed width – non-scaling, but with a backdrop/ wallpaper color or pattern behind it

Classified Ads With A Kick

June 15th, 2009 Comments off

-minimal javascript if any
-800 pixel fixed width – non-scaling, but with a backdrop/ wallpaper color or pattern behind it
-pleasing color scheme, with colors used to highlight important areas of the page
-logo stands out, is trademarked and integrated with surrounding graphics and slogan
o I can provide some direction on the logo
-rounded corners
-shading and reflection for depth
-good use of white space
-unique, eye-catching
-very obvious search bar
-possible use of elements from US paper currency
-favicon
