The project consists in creating a script (whatever programming language) that can be embedded into pdf files and can track when they are distributed through email by sending to a mailbox the address of each distribution adressee.

Sample case:

I am looking to hire a firm or an individual that can get my project up and running in a cost effective, but in a well done way.

The project is nameless at the moment.
I want to build a webapp where people can make a profile using the facebook connect, and/or twitter api. As well as just make a simple account without those social networks. Giving users 3 possible ways to log in.

When they log in, I would like a dashboard. Which gives users the ability to enter a trade or current position in a stock. Also, the dashboard should show their current portfolio value, % of money invested in the stock market, and a nice looking graph to show the performance of their portfolio.

If the user selects “enter trade”, they will enter the stock symbol, enter price, quantity, commision, stop loss, target. I would then like the site to pull the chart of the stock they are trading, and on the chart put points of interest of where they entered, exited, stop loss and their target. This will take finding a source of raw stock data and building a chart.

Back on the dashboard I would like some square tiles layed out with the company logo of the stock being traded. Then the user can click the tile to edit the data of the trade, or close it out.

From there some simple calucations will be made- profit and loss, profitable trade % etc.

Having stock market experience or an interest in the market is a big plus.

The look of this application should be extremely simple, but professional.

A fixed price can be negotiated as well if the contractor would rather do that.

The application should run in the background and should not show up in the application menu. The application must be password protected so that the phone owner cannot disable the application with out a password.

The application should also auto start as soon as the phone start.

The application must keep the GPS alive so that current GPS coordinates gets send to the HTTP URL. Together with the LAT and LONG I want a timestamp in UNIX and the a unique number, preferable the phone number to be sent to the HTTP URL.

If possible it can be done using IP and sockets but HTTP REQUESTS are fine.

This should be an easy app for a decent coder to do. I already have the code for the app. Just cannot get it to work. I do not have a big budget but more work can come from this project.

I am developing an specific system for piles motion analysis.
I am not an software expert, so for now I’m working experimentally in a manual way:

1-Using a digital high-speed camera connected in to the USB port of a computer I record a .mov file, saved to a folder on computer;
2- The clip shows always a standard label, whit two black square (I can change its colour format, etc…) targets, moving downward an upward;
3- Using Adobe After Effects, I open the file, manually click the two targets and run the motion tracker routine;
4- Then I manually select the track points coordinates, copy and paste them on a excel worksheet;
5- The worksheet does the final job.

I need a program that, automatically:

a) Detects and opens a new .mov file in the folder;
b) In the first frame detects de centre of the two targets, saving its coordinates (x and y, in pixels);
c) Tracks the targets motion, saving its coordinates, frame by frame;
d) The program results output should be an excel worksheet or CSV file.

I need a light yet functional craigslist tracker that will go through all of CL and track ads with re-occurring url strings/patterns.

So, for example if there is an ad with link http://www.abcdefg.com and if another ad pops up 3 days later with the same link http://www.abcdefg.com, it would save both ads (or just the URLs) in the tracker.

Tell me if this is doable.

I would like to develop an embedded device that send/receive communicate between a remote server and the in car Garmin device with help of the Garmin SDK communication protocol. Users from the remote server can send messages and waypoints to the in car Garmin device. The user in the car can send messages back to the remote server as well.

This project consists of two modules. One is GPS tracker module in the car; another is server program that runs on a remote PC server. It communicates between the GPS tracker and server monitor

Modules Descriptions

GPS Tracker
This module is an embedded system. It consists of three main hardware components.
A. Main processor chip
B. Garmin device
C. GSM/GPRS module
D. GPS module

The main processor chip can control the Garmin device via RS-232 interface. Their communication is compliant to Garmin Communication Protocol.
The main processor chip can control GSM/GPRS module via RS-232 interface. The main processor can send data (from Garmin device) to remote monitor center while the main processor can also receive data (commands from remote monitor center).

Monitor Center Server Program
This module is a server program to build communications with the in car GPS Tracker module. It can listen to any connections from the remote GPS Tracker in the car. It can send/receive any data packets between the GPS Tracker module and monitor center server module via TCP/UDP protocol. It can send any control commands to GPS Tracker, GPS Tracker executes the real control action to Garmin device.

I need this application to the following as a process:

1) The application must monitor varying folders (each are of a different category, and must be chooseable) on the local server, which will receive new folders every so often.

2) As soon as a new folder is created, inside will be lots of .rar’s, a .nfo, and a .sfv file, and also perhaps another folder.

3)I need the program to make a torrent matching the name of the directory(either using torrent source code, or via uTorrent create) and automatically insert the new directory into the torrent-make field. Also, the tracker URL should be configurable, but be able to be set and already-chosen. I will also need the torrent to be made for “Private Tracker”.

4) The program will then have to submit the torrent to a private based website via HTTPS. It will need to:
i)Select the .torrent file and submit it to a field
ii)Import the .nfo from the directory and submit it to a field
iii)Select the category (different ways of achieving this will be discussed upon contact)

5) Once the upload form is submitted on the webpage, the torrent file must be downloaded to a specific folder on the local server.

It is VERY important that the application is customizable in terms of ‘tracker URL’, can be paused, etc.

It will be running on Windows 2003 Server, but it will ideally use minimal RAM and CPU.

I’m in need of a simple windows program. Could be written in C or it could be .net or VB. I’m not worried as long as it works.

This program needs to read a URL or a keyword from a CSV file and navigate internet explorer to either the URL or a google search of the keyword. Then the program must record any and all popup ads that occur. These won’t be popups launched from the browser, but popups/unders launched by a third party adware product. Multiple products will be tested on various machines, so the script should just detect a new browser window opening and grab the final URL (not the refresh but the final destination URL) of the popup/under ad and record it in a CSV with the Date and Time the popup occured.

The the program grabs the next URL/keyword from the list and starts the process again.

If the URL/Keyword input starts with an http:// then it should be treated as a URL, otherwise treat it as a keyword.

This program must utilize internet explorer and record the data it collects in a CSV file. It must work with Windows XP and Vista

Additionally, this program will need to grab a screenshot of the popup that appears, save it and record the filename of that screencap in the output csv file.
