Adware – Toolbar – Browser Extension – Update And Fix

November 16th, 2011 Comments off

We currently have a software program that needs updating. We have full source codes, and the current code is clean and easy to understand.

It is an .exe file, as well as a server-side portion admin panel.

The software is similar to a toolbar or browser helper object in that it triggers popup advertisements according to the url that the visitor is browsing…amongst other advertising triggers.

You should have experience with toolbars, browser extensions, or adware applications.

Firefox/msie Etc. Add-on/toolbar

October 13th, 2011 Comments off

Hi,

This is a report of an old project that we had to cancel due to affiliate regulations. This seems to have altered, so we’re back in the game.

Its been a while, but we’re looking into this again.

What the add-on should do is display a message/notification of some kind to let the surfer know that when shopping at, for example store X, can save him/her x$/x% when shopping through our cashback network.

Coolest thing would be if it could say: You would have saved X if you were logged in at oursite.com.

We have xml feeds with our cashback stores, or we could create any kind of this that’d help.

We’re looking for honest quotes. We’ve learned these things aren’t the hardest to make, but it must be good!

Php Pro Bid Minor Edits (programming And Design)

September 15th, 2011 Comments off

I would like to make the following changes to my phpprobid script which is already installed on my website.

1. I need the main toolbar to look like the toolbar on the following link: http://website.informer.com/visit?domain=probidv6mods.com&url=http://probidv6mods.com One of my previously hired programmers changed it and now when you mouse over any object on my toolbar, it shows a strange blue color. I would just like it switched back to the original mouse over color.
2. I had a programmer take down some information from one of my pages and I would like it made visible again. I believe the code is still there, if it is not, I have my original code to help place that information back in place.

Firefox Toolbar Project For Team 1

June 30th, 2011 Comments off

I am looking for a Firefox toolbar to be created. It must be compatible with Firefox 3, 4 and 5. The first rendition doesn’t need to be particularly polished

Please see the wireframe:
http://i.imgur.com/i95UC.jpg

Most links just create navigation. 99% of the working code is with the “Start” button. Aside from navigating windows, the toolbar will need to retrieve JSON data in the background as well as interact with the toolbar interface itself. Please see the meta-code below. It is written in PHP because that is the language I am most familiar with. I understand that the structure may need to change somewhat, particularly to accomodate the sleep functionality.

****PLEASE POST SCREENSHOTS OF PAST TOOLBAR WORK WITH YOUR BID****

***Begin Start Button***
$isCancelled = false;
$isSkipped = false;
$userName = [get from user input];

$myJson = get(‘http://www.mysite.com/watchxml.php?r=’.$userName);

Toolbar Mirror Needed

April 7th, 2011 Comments off

I would like someone to mirror a toolbar image. I have attached in a word document exactly what I want. I want the toolbar to look almost exactly to what I have attached. The only changes would be the edits I have provided on the right side of the word document and color scheme. The width is 250 pixels. The length can be whatever you so choose.

The website this is going on is http://www.bobhedlund.com

To see the toolbar I am looking mirrored currently operational please go to: http://www.briansandoval.com/

Each one of the different buttons/links has to be fully operational. Whether that means fields to enter e-mail addresses and name or buttons that can be clicked on. I will provide links.

There is immediate future work available for the designer who does this mirror of the toolbar.

The price range I am looking at is $25-40 with an additional toolbar to be mirrored one day following successful completion of this project.

Create A Toolbar

Overview
——–

I need a Toolbar add-on for browsers that will work with FireFox, Internet explorer, Google Chrome, Safari etc. The toolbar should be an .exe file that a user can install onto there computer (It’s easier for me to distribute in that format).

Once the toolbar is downloaded and installed onto a users computer, it should then detect when the users opens a browser, then when the browser is opened.. check if the toolbar exsits.
If NOT – Direct to a page where the user can install the toolbar.
If it does – Go to the content page.

The toolbar will be a simple iframe of a html page on my website, so you don’t have to do any button or code programming, 26px in height and 100% wide, so I will be designing that. Your job is simply coding it to work perfectly on users computers, pc (mac at a later stage) and on all Operating Systems’s. It should also have an option to set my site as the users homepage.

I also need some sort of html code to detect if the toolbar has or has not been installed, if not it should re-direct to the download page, if it is already installed show the page content.

REQUIREMENTS CHECKLIST
…………………

1. Works on popular browsers
2. Is an .exe installer
3. Detects when a browser is opened & installs the toolbar on it
4. The toolbar has the option to set my site as a homepage.
5. Works on PC’s (Mac’s at a later stage)
6. Works on popular Operating Systems
7. Code on my website that detects if a user has installed the toolbar or not
8. Is an iframe of a page of my site

RESOURCES
……….

You can see an example of a toolbar iframe: conduit.com (it’s called a html component.)
You can see an example of the .exe installer and the browser detection: webfetti.com

High Converting Graphic

March 3rd, 2010 Comments off

Hi,

I need a graphic designed that will make our users want to install our toolbar. Please be as creative as possible!

I basically want our toolbar in the graphic, therefore it will be long and skinny. In addition, I’m looking for text like this…

“Install the MyEmail.com Toolbar for Instant Access to Your Email!”
“Free Email Notifier. Install Now!”
“Get Your Email on Your Browser Instantly!”
“Install our toolbar for Instant Access to Your Email!”
“Install our FREE email notifier!”

It would be great if I could some how be able to change the text by myself… Yet, I’m not sure how to accomplish this.

You can download the toolbar here. Don’t worry there are no viruses or malware or any sillyness.

http://signup.myemail.com/MyEmail.exe

I plan on putting this graphic in the white space right above the “from, subject, date, size” blue bar in this picture.

Need a custom toolbar coded.

Among standard features such as buttons/links and a search feature, we need the following.

We need something that will redirect certain URL’s.

For example, say the surfer visits domain.com, the toolbar should check with our server if we redirect on that domain, and we will return a url like domain.com/?user=memberid and the user will be directed to that url and not domain.com directly.

Fix Fault With Program 2

December 27th, 2009 Comments off

Hi there I have a software program which is called the Viral Toolbar Builder written in Visual Basic. The Program installs ok and the features to create the toolbar work however when I click on the button labelled ” Save Toolbar setup file to my computer” to create the exe file to launch the toolbar it says “file Not found”

I have full source code and this project should be very easy for the programmer to complete.

This project requires the programmer to fix this fault which is stopping the program to generate the .exe toolbar application.

Full testing of this software should be carried out so that it works on all Windows operating systems most importantly the software should be able to create customised toolbars which it was designed for.

We need to have a toolbar created that is IE and FF compatible.

Toolbar must have 1 click to go to respective craigslist page (automotive services).

And have a button that will auto fill out the title, and message field, from 2 txt files, 1 for the title, and one for the message body.

No need for auto posting or captcha recognition.

This is essentially a glorified clipboard that will pull the content from 2 text files!

Firefox Toolbar (linux)

November 24th, 2009 Comments off

I want a Firefox extension (Toolbar) for Linux (Ubuntu) that will work as Roboform, of course all the features is not needed. The main features I need is:

Familiarize yourself with Roboform, you can download it here: http://www.roboform.com/download.html

1: When a form is filled that contain a password-field, the application will ask if I want to save all the form-data.

2: I can easily login to a site that I have saved form-data for by just typing “hotm” or something similar in the Firefox-toolbar-textfield and press enter if I for example want to login to www.hotmail.com .

3: The application should encrypt all the form-data and have a master-password that I have to type before I can use the toolbar.

4: I want to have a button for default information so I can autofill new forms that I haven’t saved any form-info for. Like my email, name, address and any other info I like. This feature
should work similar to Roboforms identities-feature.

5: I want to be able to edit saved form-data and identities.

6: Password generator that can autofill password-fields. Similar to the one in Roboform.

7: I want the application to be able to handle multiple logins, like if I have 5 accounts to Youtube for example. (Take a look how Roboform handle this)

8: The application should not autofill forms until I push the Logins-button on the toolbar OR if I type something in the textfield and press enter.

9: I need to be able to Import all the form-data I saved in Roboform. (There is a export feature in Roboform so this wont be too hard I think)

This is the main features I need right now. Make sure you familiarize yourself with Roboform and try out all the features I need.

I want to have the full right to do anything I want with the application and sourcecode after I pay you.

Zwinky/zango Toolbar Clone

November 4th, 2009 Comments off

I need someone to code a toolbar that would work with IE (.exe) and FF (xpi), and if possible Safari (sf). The toolbar needs to automatically update itself every (x) hours/days and provide secure updates.

The toolbar itself should be nothing but just a big HTML file in length. I would want to be able to just control what is on the toolbar from a html located online.

Source files are also needed once complete.

When user installs toolbar, it should also change their DNS catch for auto search in their browser bar.

Toolbar should also be able to detect the URL user’s are visiting, to then launch a popup for certain sites.

Test Toolbar – Beta Tester #5

October 12th, 2009 Comments off

We have an application ready for Beta testing. It is called “The Browser Buddy”.

We are seeking another Beta tester. We posted this same project earlier and selected a few Beta testers. We want to get another Beta tester, so we’ve re-posted this project.

The Browser Buddy is a toolbar designed to work with either the Internet Explorer browser or the Firefox browser on PC’s, not MAC’s.

Once installed, The Browser Buddy permits the User to define a list of allowed web sites. Once that list is defined then only those web sites on the allowed site list can be opened and seen in the browser.

This toolbar is designed to help parents with young children at home. It is also for use by small businesses that want to keep employees focused on business and customer related sites.

The first draft of the User Guide is provided on site through your User account. We will update the User Guide based on the testing and review feedback.

Here’s the web site to get started: http://www.thebrowserbuddy.com/Main.php

Run the following tests on both Internet Explorer and Firefox browsers.

Test Plan:

1) After registering with your name and email can you download the toolbar application to your computer?

1a) Which browser did you use for this test?

1b) What is the operating system you used (XP, Vista, etc?)

1c) Do you see your account status when you log-on to your account?

1d) Do you see the User Guide when you log-on to your account?

2) Did the toolbar install correctly? Any problems?

3) Can you log-on to your user account easily?

3a) Could you set-up the allowed sites for your account?

4) After downloading and installing The Browser Buddy, when you type in a website address (URL) that is not in your allowed list does the blocked site page warning come up?

5) With The Browser Buddy installed and on, can you open a site that is not on your allowed site list?

6) Does the password recover function work?

7) Can you turn the toolbar off?

7a) After turning the toolbar off is any site blocked by your browser?

8) Can you delete the toolbar? (That is done through your Control Panel

9) We will update your account to Premium Service after you send us your first test results. After upgrading to Premium service does that status show when you log-on to your admin account?

9a) What Premium services did you see?

9b) Did the Premium Services each work?

10) Does the list of allowed sites show up on the drop down menu from the toolbar?

11) Did the User Guide make sense?

11a) What parts of the User Guide were unclear?

12) Any errors in the User Guide? Where?

13) What parts of using this toolbar were hard?

14) What would you like to see improved or fixed to make this toolbar easier to use?

DELIVERABLES:

1. A document answering each question in the “Test Plan”. Bidder can bid to do the testing on one browser, or on both IE and Firefox. Please specify clearly if your bid is for one browser type or both.

1a. If both browser types are bid, then a seperate test report for each browser must be submitted. Cleary state which browser was used and the operating system (Windows XP, Vista, etc)

We want to have the functionality to make changes to the toolbar as needed or as website links change.

Conduit Toolbar Component

Hi I am after a toolbar component that performs the same functions as vouchercodes ‘dot’ com’s toolbar.

The toolbar component must monitor the users browser location for url changes and check my database to see if the domain is listed in my site database. If the domain is listed on my site I need the toolbar to flash and display an icon of the store logo so when its pressed the user is taken in a new window to the relevant page on my site.

You must have worked with conduit toolbars before and examples of your work would be nice.

Test Toolbar – Seeking Tester

October 2nd, 2009 Comments off

We have an application ready for Beta testing. It is called “The Browser Buddy”.

We are seeking another tester. We posted this same project earlier and selected the first tester. We want to get another tester, so we’ve re-posted this project.

It is a toolbar designed to work with either the Internet Explorer
browser or the Firefox browser on PC’s, not MAC’s. Once installed it permits the User to define a list of allowed web sites. Once that list is defined then only those web sites on the allowed site list can be opened and seen in the browser.

This toolbar is designed to help parents with young children at home. It is also for use by small businesses that want to keep employees focused on business and customer related sites.

The first draft of the User Guide will be provided to interested bidders. We’ll update the User Guide based on the testing and review feedback.

Here’s the web site to get started: http://www.thebrowserbuddy.com/Main.php

4) When you type in a website address (URL) that is not in your allowed list does the blocked site page warning come up?

5) Can you open a site that is not on your allowed site list?

6) Does the password recover function work?

7) Can you turn the toolbar off? After turning the toolbar off is any site blocked?

8) Can you delete the toolbar?

9) After upgrading to Premium service does that status show when you log-on to your admin account?
