Online Ticket Booking Ststem

We are looking for a php, mysql, ajax system that Hill be used to sell tickets online and at POS for events (think of it as a small scale ticketmaster)

The system is divided in two main components:

Front End

The front end of the system should be a website (can be based on current CMS such as joomala etc) with its main purpose to list upcoming events and letting clients select events a buy tickets.

Within the website the clients flow would look something like this:

- Client locates event
- Client selects seats from interactive Seat map (Reserved Seating) (seating map must chow real time availability and the different sections within the venue)
o OR Selects Area for General Admission
- Tickets are added to shopping cart (expires after X amount of minutes (visible to the client)
- Client logs in (or registers if a new client)
- Client Pays
- Tickets are shown to the client in PDF form and emailed to his her email address
- Client must have a login where he can manage his tickets and reprint or re email to himself. Client can also modify his profile (password, address etc)

Back End

The Back end is divided into 3 main components

Administration:

The Administration part is where the complete system is managed. This must be protected and several levels of logging must be available. This is what sould be doable once logged on.

- User can add modify and delete venues
o Venues page must list all venues available and permit user add modify or delete venue
- User can create seating charts for a specific venue. Seating charts must allow for different prices for different seats (general admission and vip for example). Seating charts are associated to a venue. Venues may have more than one seating chart associated to it
- User can add modify and delete events
o Event name
o Event date (if recurring add multiple dates)
o Event time
o Door open time
o Event venue
o Seating chart for that event
o Producer

- Events page must list all events and permit actions to each event such as
o Publish or UnPublish (make events available for sale via web and POS)

Client can ask for tickets to be emailed to him ad E-Tickets

Ticket Takers
- a simple interface for ticket takers to scan all incoming tickets to be checked versus the database and the system will return a status. The following status should be available
o OK (Green or checkmark) ticket is ok to be redeemed
o REDEMED (Red or X) Ticket has already been redeemed
o NOT FOUND (Ticket is not in database as a sold ticket)
- Interface should be ajax based so no page reload in needed after each ticket scan.

The complete final system will be translated into SPANISH so wile programming this has to be taken into consideration
Payments will be processed as follows

Web Orders can Pay Via:
- Paypal or
- local payment processor (we will work together with our local credit card processor to integrate with this system.
POS Sales can Pay

TicketID (unique), timestamp, SequentialNo (for each customer), CustomerID

Table ‘Customer’
CustomerID, FirstName, LastName, Fone, email

The Frontend will show an inputfield for CustomerID. If this ID does not exist, the form expands showing the other inputfields to enter new customer (CustomerID, FirstName, LastName, Fone, email).
Else the HTML page will show existing customer data and an inputfield to enter the number of new tickets to generate.

The random ticket IDs must contain 7 characters (1-9, a-z, A-Z, without 0, o, O, I, l) and it may not be sequential.

After generating the database entries the page shows the Text “X new tickets for customer CustomerID (FirstName LastName)” and a link on a script that generates the PDF with the tickets with the parameters for CustomerID, StartSequentialNo, EndSequentialNo (<a href=’ticketPDFs/makeTicketPDF.php?CID=&SSN=&ESN=’>Download Tickets as PDF</a>). The script for generating the PDF is not part of this project, it will be done by me.

A second Page is for searching existing ticketnumbers belonging to a customer. There will be a form with a inputfiled to enter CustomerID, begining SequentialNo (optional) and ending SequentialNo (optional). If only the CustomerID is entered the result is a list of all tickets for that Customer. If a beginning SequentialNo ist entered the result is a list of all tickets starting with the beginning SequentialNo up to the last SequentialNo of that customer. If beginning and end SequentialNo is entered the appropriate tickets will be listet. Each entry in this list is a link on the makeTickets script like above.

To access to that app there must be a login defined in a conig file.

For Customers there will be a page with a form for entering CustomerID, TicketNo and SequentialNo without login to download a specific Ticket. After entering the data the pages shows a link to the makeTicketPDF like above.

What the site does is list concert tickets from StubHub.com. The site has a scipt cron_script.php that runs every 15 minutes via cron and cURLs http://www.stubhub.com/concert-tickets/albany-events-tickets/ and updates the MySQL DB. My website then displays the ticket listings.

StubHub has changed some information on their website because my cron_script.php script no longer updates the database. The code for my site is fairly simple and straight forward. It’s templated and cleanly written.

I need someone to fix/update the cron_script.php file so it works again.

This should be a simple and easy task for a php coder. Looking to get this completed in 0-1 day with a budget of $15-40. Lower budget gets the bid as this is going to be a quick fix.

I have installed osticket onto my HostGator Account and require some mods.

Hopefully most of the mods have already been made or work arounds have been created on the osticket forums here:

So I simply want someone to install their own copy of osticket onto their server, install the mods to test that they work. Once we know that they all work, we can then transfer them over to my server.

However if you come across any other modifications that you feel would be useful to me, it will be highly appreciated.

Also, please be aware that I currently have the site running and am more than happy with how its currently operating, so hopefully any modifications improve the system, not make it faulty. I have got my version up and running with the latest version (which is available from their website). So am hoping for easy intergration with NO loss of current settings or tickets.

We are hoping to fully implement osticket as a web based client. I have got it running fine at the moment, however I would like to make it a bit more user friendly for the clients.

In particular the following but if you would like to suggest other functions that you find and think would be useful to me, I would highly appreciate it!

+ Addition of formatting for emails.
At the moment it only allows a standard format of text, similiar to this box I am using to enter text in now. However if I wish to use bold or different sized font it is currently not possible. (So similiar to sending an email on hotmail).

+ Display of time on “open tickets” tab.
Similiar to log in to your hotmail or yahoo, when your viewing the list of messages, it should have the time it was received, currently it just displays the date.

+ Rebadging of the main customer screen. I would like to replace osticket logos with my company’s logo.

+ Option to be able to CC or have multiple parties attached to a ticket.

+ Merge Tickets
Sometimes multiple tickets get created for the same issue by the same user. It would be ideal to be able to merge these all together.

I need a shopping cart that can:
1) sell tickets-I will only sell tickets and never any actual products. this is for an event that we do once a year, so the requirements are:
a) discount coupons
b) print invoice for those that want to pay by check
c) paypal checkout otherwise
d) integration with a cms – drupal, joomla, wordpress whatever is easiest for you.
e) there is a time related discount, e.g. buy early for the early bird discount; but if this is not a feature of the cart (time related discounts) we can just create and post appropriate tickets/prices at the appropriate time.
2) Delivery in 3 days – sorry for the short time frame-
3) for the CMS and Cart, we don’t need any theme or graphic design, we will do that part – we want you to focus only on the cart and user system integration – a cart user (ticket buyer) should be a cms user and a cms user should be a cart user- when someone lands on the ticket page (since we will probably link from other sites) we want them to be able to buy the ticket and be presented with the “create login” or login that is typical with most carts- when they purchase the ticket, they should automatically be a site “member”.

Also I need someone to add items to a report. When you print a work order from the system I would like a form to be printed that my techs can just check a box or fill in a blank.

Need a ticket reseller website, something like acetickets(dot)com or something similar. Its going to be a tickt reseller website. This is how it will work:

1. I will buy tickets from primary market (this has nothing to do with the website, I’m just trying to give you an overview of the site)
2. I will list the tickets for sale in the admin panel (need a system in the admin panel for live chat, editing the blog-yes, there’s a blog- and general site maintenance)
3. People will come to my site, look through tickets, and then buy them
4. If they buy them, they are taken to the checkout area where they can pay.
5. The tickets they bought will be taken off of the website and I will be notified with all their information. The ordering process will be detailed when I choose you as I will need their address, and whether they are picking up the tickets or not.

If you live in the U.S. or any other country where the secondary ticket industry is big you will know exactly how to do this.

There is one more thing that will need to be added to the frontside and admin panel:
This is a going to be a “ticket blast” list. They will give me their phone number and agree to the terms and an hour or 2 hours before the actual event if I have tickets then I will send out a “blast” to everyone on that list. Then they can text back if they want the tickets.

I should have an “exclusive list” for people I know, and good customers which will get the blast first- then I will send out a blast to the “normal list” people.

I should be able to edit lists and move each number between “exclusive” and “normal” and also delete numbers if I want.

In order to sign up for this list, you will need to first get a text that will contain a 5 digit/character message that they will need to enter on the website to verify that this is their number.

We will either be using the celltrust api at celltrust.com, a normal email script where the messages will be coming from “sms(at)mywebsite.com” or the clickatell api at clickatell.com (clickatell is the primary options with the other 2 being back-ups)

The biggest change of this website from the other websites mentioned is that this is only a specific region’s ticket agency. For example, I will only be selling tickets to events in and around NY city (its not NYC, that’s just an example).

Here’s a little more detail:
Admin panel:
-Add events
-Add tickets
-See orders and all info on orders
-manage “blast” lists
-Edit venues (this will be used for people to search for tickets)
-Add pictures for certain events (stage layouts)
