I think it is definitely possible to just update my current coding to my new specifications (i’ve seen it done), but in some ways it just might be easier/faster to start anew with a new website and just copying the good things over, fixing the bad things and adding the new things.

I am a professional coder myself so I *DO* know what I am doing and what you will be doing. Please do not exaggerate terms or timescales as I can see past that and this work may lead to more in the future depending on the quality.

This will require an NDA before source code is released. I am not picky about country of work, I do not care where you code. I am generally available for emails 18-20 hours a day and respond immediately to any questions.

Now what you will be doing:

This program in its most simple sense controls a hardware board I make. This revision of the software will be easier to use then the current generation. I have been working on it for a long time and it is usable but now I need to add features. All the “back bone” is there and can be leveraged by you. What I am in need of is additions to the configuration section of the program. Everything that can be done in the program should be configurable through the GUI. The GUI is not WinForms, it is OpenGL. I have made a simple menu class that works as well as pop ups and simple text routines. This is enough to do everything but can definitely be built upon.

Things I want it to do for this project (Don’t worry if you don’t understand the overall how, but just know what):

1) A way to edit a GUI object by right clicking and changing any of the configurable options on it. Currently the find alogorithm works for a single “page” because I can drag and move it around which saves it. I need it to detect that it is a button that changes digital outputs and then give options like change which output, or change the duty cycle or things like that. Or if it is a variable label then change which variable it points to and so on. Basically editible configuration.

2) Need more “macros” or “widgets” So instead of buttons or labels, I need things like a) gauges b) dials c) bars and indicators. All of these things should be very simple to implement and will require crude graphics skills. I have photoshop files for all the graphics I am using, and you should be able to add basic things. Or if you cannot draw then a simple placeholder sketch is OK and I will put that in later.

3) A way to make buttons, labels, or any of the above widgets use any image file. I have a way of reading in images from a disk and resource file into OpenGL and display them properly. However I do not have a “file browser” type control where the user can open a menu system to select an image and use that for images. This needs to be done.

4) Change the configurator basic options. We will take over one keyboard key that then options for the configurator can be used such as grid size or enable snap to grid, and that sort of thing.

5) Finish implementing pages. Currently the variable exists, but it is not coded to be used I don’t believe. So if page 1, then only show things on page 1. If page 2 then only show things on page 2. And then a small method that changes pages.

6) Create a graphical “widget programmer” that allows users to drag and drop various items to create a user defined method. I have done this in the last iteration of the program but it was not very intuitive. We will brainstorm together to make something more friendly, and you will implement it. So the user can make a function that takes variable X and variable Y and does some math and outputs to variable Z. All the inputs, outputs, and math are already implemented because it will be compilable C# that is generated and compiled/executed on the fly. The part that needs to be done is somehow display variables and math symbols and some way of interfacing them. This will probably be the toughest and there are more things under this but once a generic way of showing all this to the user is made it should fall together rather easily.

The underlying program is actually relatively complex and allows for anything to be done and compiled on the fly. A lot of reflection and dynamics are used to achieve this. Knowledge of this is a plus. I will give almost free reign to the configuration side of the code, you can move things around and refactor as you see fit. However the base part of the program please do not touch unless you ask me first. If it is a good edit then we will make it. Some things (like the page) will require editing this core code. My goal is not to detroy the code I have worked so hard on implementing.

We are a psychological training institute and we have a fairly complicated website with lots of pages, several libraries of articles, an extensive CMS for managing pages, libraries, training dates, training contents, lists of members, Google-maps for training locations, revolving graphics, different background graphics, cross links between pages, and so on.

This site needs constant work, mainly because there are often problems with how it works. Sometimes we will change one things and then suddenly other things change too, which we had not expected… Also, technology and culture change, and there is always a wish-list of new thing we would like our site to be able to do.

We had a php programmer who did all this for us, but he suddenly disappeared. So we are looking for a new programmer.

This is a half time job. So your bid will your price monthly for half time (20 hours a week). The first month will probably be full time, due to orientation on this complex site.

Basically there are five tasks:
1. Trouble shooting problems the site usually has
2. Adding new functionalities
3. Eventually migrating the site to joomla or drupal or something like that

I have a aspx web page that sends and receives information to and from a web service I have. My problem right now is the previous developer almost got every function correct but needed to fix some things. Unfortunately I’m not able to reach him now. There is also an error I need fixed. It happens when I post multiple times very fast and sometimes when I’m not doing it very fast.

I have a current site up and operational, but it needs a few simple things to make it more appealing to viewers.

The 3 things to fix are…

#1 Delete the log in box on the left side bar, dont need it as there is also a log in box on the top horizontal bar members can use.

#2 Delete the Statistics box entirely under the log in box on the left side bar, the site doesn’t need it as it is discouraging new members to join as they see the current low member count.

Just get rid of those two on the left side and allow the news box to move up.

#3 Fix the coding on sign up process so when members make payment, as their payment is finalized by they from paypal or alert pay, they are automatically activated in the site and have all the emails and can log in asap. Right now, when a member makes payment, I have to go into back office, and see pending members, then go to paypal or alertpay to verify they paid, then come back and move them from pending to active, but must still manually activate their account. No one can join the site unless payment is made, so when they finalize payment from paypal or alertpay I want the site to automatically activate their account. Paypal and Alertpay will not work unless they have money in the account or have a checking account or credit card added. So when they click the final pay button on either of them, they are prompted on my site to automatically activated without any more input on my end.

Those 3 things please. Nothing else, Need them done asap please.

I have a music website launching in about a month that has a video help section. This website is unlike anything out there now – totally fresh idea.

So I need musicians to upload video tutorials. It can be about any instrument or style of music – anything to do with music that you think you have to teach.

NO graphics. Just you and your instrument and what you have to teach.

Once of the best things is at the end of your video you can plug your band, website – whatever you want – verbally. Again, no graphics.

There are other bonuses to making these videos, like free credits to use on my website, which comes in handy if you’re a musician.

So let me know what you think you would want for 5 videos – what the subject matter would be – and a little background on yourself.

I have an unlimited amount of work available – I just need to find someone who is a perfectionist, takes pride in their work and builds me amazing (and secure) things!

In general – I need an all round programmer.
But for this project, flash will probably yield the best results. Though there is potential for javascript etc.

For the trial project I want you to build me a standard single player BLACKJACK gambling game – that can plugin to an existing website.

The 3 things to fix are…

#1 Delete the log in box on the left side bar, dont need it as there is also a log in box on the top horizontal bar members can use.

#2 Delete the Statistics box entirely under the log in box on the left side bar, the site doesn’t need it as it is discouraging new members to join as they see the current low member count.

Just get rid of those two on the left side and allow the news box to move up.

#3 Fix the coding on sign up process so when members make payment, as their payment is finalized by they from paypal or alert pay, they are automatically activated in the site and have all the emails and can log in asap. Right now, when a member makes payment, I have to go into back office, and see pending members, then go to paypal or alertpay to verify they paid, then come back and move them from pending to active, but must still manually activate their account. No one can join the site unless payment is made, so when they finalize payment from paypal or alertpay I want the site to automatically activate their account. Paypal and Alertpay will not work unless they have money in the account or have a checking account or credit card added. So when they click the final pay button on either of them, they are prompted on my site to automatically activated without any more input on my end.

Those 3 things please. Nothing else, Need them done asap please.

My client needs a flash header modified. In all reality it is more of a new header made than of one I need modified. I do have a fla header that I will send you, but I will need most things changed on it so it may be more for reference than to be modified. You can copy what you need over or just modify the fla I send you. That I will leave up to you.

Things I will need changed on it is things like colors, logo, text, graphics, and background image and motion.
Background motion needs to change to clouds moving. The nature of the header needs to be “Heavenly”. Kinda like living your dreams.

We need someone to go through every single area and feature of the site and find errors and things that do not look good or are not working as they should or not good to the user. Then we need you to give us a detailed document with the problem/error and it’s description and link. The next stage of this project will be to fix the errors and problems. please bid now only for the beta testing stage. We need this done ASAP as the site is already live and advertised.

This project is urgent, we need it completed immediately. Fortunately, it is also very simple, and should take an experienced PHP coder less than 15 minutes to do.

Our project consists of 2 very small things (unrelated to each other):

Part 1:
Please take a look at the testall.php script file attached to this project and tell me if it uses any PHP5 syntax. Is it written for PHP5 or does it look like something that would run in PHP4? I just need an expert answer to that question.

Part 2:
We need a very simple script which sends an imagemagick command to convert all images in a specified source folder, and save them to a destination folder. That’s it.

The source images will be JPGs, the script should save them as TIFs with the same filename (but .tif extension).

The convert command should be something like this:

I am interested in doing a Dubli/swoopo project.I need to be able to change content on the site on a regular basis (i.e., the products that will be auctioned). I also need a complete back office tracking of all referrals, reports on what items sold for, email notification that I need to deliver the won item, payroll to affiliates, etc. The project requires a 5 level affiliate program. A person can choose to be an affiliate. The affiliate gets an agent area to track referrals, earnings, etc. plus 100 bids to hand out to customers. Affiliate payout is .25 per bid on referred customer.
