Well i do not need a complete website but i need someone good with php to design a section of a website to me. This section will diplay rss feeds from other websites on my website. What i actually need is for the rss from multiple sites to be pulled and displayed in a 4 by 4 matrices. There should be a title, an image posted on the blog (all images should be of uniform dimension). The title and image must be linked to the external post. There should be no further text from the description. There should be a next option or a page number option that will take me to the next 4×4 matrix and so on. This has to be done using php because i need it to be indexed by search engines. If there is no image, then a default image has to be displayed. Technically this should update automatically. If you can do this please bid. If you need samples, contact me and i through the message board and I will show what i exactly need. Payment will be in two halves. First when you show me you are able to do what i want using my feed on you own hosting. Remaining payment will be done when you help me implement it on my website. Photography Cms Template

This is not a big project. I am tempted to buy this template, but I want a few things changed so I want a new one designed from the ground up like this one, but where I own the rights to the code so that I can set it up on multiple domains. It should be xml based with an html/css template and no flash.

I would like someone to design a template like the example into a working dynamic photography template with its own built in backend CMS. I want a few changes to this template however. I don’t want the orange bar that follows the curser up and down the page. Instead, if you move your curser to the top of the page you will see a grey bar that fades into the page. I want that bar to be visible at all times. It should have the previous/next options just as it does now. The ” About Me: Portfolio: Contacts” links should be located on that top grey bar instead of the floating orange bar. I like how when you click the word “Portfolio” a list of categories drops down and you click on one. Then the thumbnails appear. However, those thumbnails should appear centered on the bottom bar at the foot of the screen instead of on that floating orange bar. The thumbs should only show up in sets of five. They should also have an arrow at the left and right of the set of thumbs that lets you scroll to the next set of images within that category if you had more than 5 images in that category. The second orange bar that now pops up just above the thumbs should not exist. Instead, the links “Zoom in | Zoom out | Fit To Page |reset | info” should appear along the grey footer bar at the top. From the current footer, we can get rid of the copyright, “Menu off | interval” and the word “sound” but leave the symbol for the sound on/off switch. (Notice I have added the “Fit to page” link so that the full image is visible inside the current browser window. The default should zoom just as the example template does, but I want the view to be able to one-click their way to a full image view)

The thumbnails should be actual small thumbnails that the template produces and not simply small version of the large image that would take forever to load. The site must load quickly.

The information on the about me page should be able to be added in the backend admin screen so that a novice user like myself does not need to know how to do any editing of files but can update the website at any time.

Categories should be able to be created/renamed/deleted in the admin screen and there should be an unlimited number of categories possible.

There should be a section in the admin where a user can check a box and manage which category an image is linked to with a single click of a button in ajax. See this link for a reference because I love how this script and programmer does it. http://www.pixelpost.org/forum/showthread.php?t=4523

I should be able to set the contact information in the admin page which includes the setting for the email address, smtp server, email password and port. I want to be able to use gmail for the contact page and it should be using the gmail server to send the information so that my bad shared host don’t mess up the emails. I need to have control of the details as described from the admin screen so that I can change to a new email in the future without giving anyone else access to my email password and so that my email address is not seen on the website for spam collectors.

On the image upload page, the user should be able to enter the text that will appear when you click on the “Info” link for each image.

The two lines in the “logo” that is at the top left of the screen should be set in the admin screen. Each on a separate line and it should function the way it does on this template.

I would also like the admin area to have the ability to email me my password if I forget what it is. It should only be able to send that password to me and not to anyone who happens to stumble across the password recovery form.

I don’t want people to have to scroll left and right and up and down to view the image. I do like how this image scales itself with the browser window. Test this out by changing the size of your browser window.

The music track should be uploaded and set in the admin screen with the ability to set new tracks when I want new ones. I would also like the option of setting some of the categories to be password protected so that if i shoot a wedding, it will appear in the drop down menu but when you click it to view the category you are asked to enter a password to view the photos. If I shoot five weddings, there should be five different passwords so only the bride of each can view their own photos.

I would also like a shopping cart ordering system for selected photos. I should be able to set availability and pricing for each image in the admin screen. They can then shop their way through the “album” and pick out whatever photos they want and in as many sizes as they want. They should be able to pay via paypal and then i will fill the orders.

There should be an edit section in the admin area where I can delete photos or update the associated text.

I have a mockup admin area that you can view to see how I would like the admin area to look and function. It does not have all of the features included, but it will give you a strong idea of what I want.

Twilight Ultimate Fan Website

We require a website design, with layout and programming for a fan website. Although the website will not be in flash, it should be just as neat looking in its html version. Designer should read articles on the character Jacob Black on Wikipedia and do independent research on Google to gain a better understanding of who the character is in order to properly design the color scheme and buttons. Also lookup various fan websites on Google to gain a better understanding of what types of features and functionality they have and give suggestions so that this website can meet or exceed those .I will also require frequent updates to show me how the website is progressing and I would like to see the functionality of the website multiple times before it is completed.

Only the admin will have access to the admin panel, moderators will have to make all updates through the website only so make sure that all the functions listed here for moderators are able to be done through the site.

Admin panel should be extremely user friendly and updatable and all blog and picture content should be updated only via the website for moderators, and on admin panel for the admin only. It should include the following features:

o Ability to create and add polls to the website on any location and page
o From admin panel, we should be able to add and edit blank template pages and the option to add a link to the buttons
o The layout should be updatable, I should be able to constantly be manipulating the websites color scheme and images, etc.

Php Expert For Auction Site

I need someone who is a PHP expert, and who is also familiar with the swoopo clone scripts. I have a complete script but there are enhancements I would like to have programmed. My previous programmer was let go because of lack of communication and lack of understanding these requests. So, Good communication, and understanding of the tasks, is most important to me.

One of the things that I really want to make sure works right is the affiliate program. My options are to use a third part affiliate software like Post Affiliate Pro (I’d like your opinion on that) or to use the affiliate program built in already. Basically everyone who registers already gets an affiliate URL. Then when someone signs up with that URL, the first user gets credited. That part works. Here are the features I would like to have for the affiliate program:

1. Clean up the existing affiliate program as follows:

a. Affiliates are paid cash rewards once per month, via paypal, on the 15th of the month for payments received the previous month. i.e. Aug 15 I will pay for all earned up to July 31st.

c. There should be a report I can generate showing all earned affiliate commission, list by user, and showing the amount of commission earned to date, amount paid out so far, last payment date, and amount still to be paid. There is an existing report, but it needs to be modified. Then there should be a button next to the user that I click to take me to a payment page where I can copy the paypal transaction ID and submit so the system will show the user that their commission has been paid. I’m open to suggestions on how exactly this should work.

d. I will only pay if commission is above a certain threshold, i.e. $50, so any amounts less than $50 will carry over to the next month.

e. On the user account side, they should be able to see for each affiliate signup, whether it has been paid, and if so, when it was paid along with paypal transaction ID. They should also be able to see the cumulative amount earned, cumulative amount paid and oustanding amount.

f. If a user has an affiliate who buys bids, then wants a refund, the refund should trigger the system to take away the commission from the referred user. My thought on this is to give users 7 days from purchasing bids to request a refund of unused bids. That way if a user buys bids on July 31st, they cannot ask for refund until after Aug 8 in order to prevent their affiliate from getting a commission for bids that were refunded. Still trying to decide how best to handle this, I’m open for any suggestions on how best to handle this.

2. I also want to see the Auction type and Auction duration be made more consistent with each other. Basically, I think there should be 5 types of auctions, a default (1 penny), a 2 penny, a 4 penny, a 6 penny and 10 penny auction. There should also be options for each auction for the time increment. They should also have an option like: Nailbiter (where the auto bidder is not allowed). These options are built in, but just not in the way they should be logically managed.

3. I would also like the ability to change an auction while it is in progress. Right now you can edit the auction, but it resets everything, which it shouldn’t do. I only want to be able to do certain things, i.e. change the end time, or change the list of bidding users during the auction. Also, I would like to implement a “closed bid” feature like on swoopo (activated before or during the auction), so that once the reserve is met I can make the auction closed so no new bidders can join in the auction. This will keep an auction from going on forever, and allow the bidders who have already bid, to have a better chance at winning. There should also ber an option I can trigger after an auction has begun, to make it so the timer will reset to no more than a certain time, i.e. 20 seconds, or 2 mins. This is so that if several bidders place auto bids, and the timer could theoretically go to 30 mins… I don’t want it to go beyond a certain time.

4. I want the ability to use the reserve price such that if the reserve is not met by the time the auction ends, then all paid bids will be refunded/returned to the users. There is a reserve price field already. I want the bids refunded immediately and a message sent to the user stating they received a refund and to invite their friends so we will have more bidders next time.

5. I want the timer to show the words “going, going, gone for the last 3 seconds instead of the actual time. So, when the timer should be at 3 seconds left it should display “Going…” then when the timer is at 2 seconds it should show “…Going” then when the auction has ended, the timer should show “GONE!” and maybe a sound file to play “Biddango!” when someone wins an auction.

6. I also need help with incorporating a new design into the scripts. I’m having the design made, and will have it in html / css format, but I’ll need your help with integrating it into the site.

7. There are numerous misspellings throughout all the files, I would like that to all be cleaned up. There are also several little things that need to be fixed such as adding an option for “ALL” to several drop down boxes in the admin section, and also wherever there is a drop down box for the country, make the default show as “United States”. I want the reports to be more efficient, i.e. there should not be so many levels to drill down and there should be more than 10 results on a page. I will want to change some of the fields that are shown on some of the reports. On the products page, there is no option for the admin to view what the product will look like during the auction, it needs a preview feature.

8. I need better reporting and tracking of users when they win an auction. There needs to be a better process (or flow) in place to track a user from the time they win, til they pay, and then when the item is shipped.

9. I want to show the info for placed bids and everything else like swoopo does so the users can see how much was spent on an auction. This is for after an auction ends.

10. I need someone who can reliably and responsibly go in and test everything.

Custom Drupal Module

I need a drupal module created which will control image files in a folder.

The purpose is to control the image contents and names in a folder so that it works properly with this project:

That project describes the naming scheme for image files and the purpose of the names.

It will need a nice drupal interface for all functions:

* Overview – Present the current configuration including a summary of each page detailing the format (one large or 4 small images), and thumbnails of the images which link to the large version. 1 larger thumbnail or 4 smaller thumbnails depending on the page format.

* There should be arrows to move the order of pages on the overview screen.

* There should be a link to add a page on the summary screen

* There should be a link next to each page to delete that page.

* each page number on the summary screen should be a link which allows the user to go to the editing page for that page.

* The editing page should accurately display the order of the images (in a square with 4 quadrants) and allow the user to move them around in an intuitive manner, change the format of the page (to 1 large or 4 small images) It should also allow the user to replace images by uploading a new ones.

* the ‘Add Page’ screen should allow the user to select which page format to create and upload the appropriate number of images.

* There should be no more than 10 pages allowed to be created.

All upload functions should restrict the upload by file type and size (pixels and KB) and should accurately create or change the image name to work properly with the naming scheme in the project link above.

Please ask any questions prior to bidding.

I need to get this done within 2 days of awarding the project, and a period of 30 days for correcting any bugs.

Niche Homepage Community

Looking for a script for creating Niche Homepage Communities. Paypal payment has to be integrated as well as domain registration for ne., .com, .org and of (this is very important) .de domains.

The script will be needed in both English and German. If your company offers a good deal and does not offer the option of creating an English and German version of the script, this will not be a problem. You should also be able to offer future support fo rthe script for future additions and add-ons.

We will go with the English version and get a translation somewhere else. However, bids of companies providing an English and German version will be preferred.

Please read instructions below. It would be great if your company has already worked on a similar project in the past.

Requirements:

Frontend: there should be a map of Germany. We want to have it look the same way as you can find it on pizza.de

1. When looking at the website index page you will see a map of Germany similar to the one found at pizza.de
2. When clicking on a state, the map shows cities of each state
3. When clicking on the city you will get a list of busineses who created a homepage on our site which reside in that city

There should also be a field on top where you can enter a German zip code and you will be presented a list of all businesses listed in the directory for that zip code.

Website Modifications

I get a website that needs the following modifications or additions:

1. Banner rotation in 3 places. Banner 1 (600 pixel wide by 160 pixel height) right on top just as it is shown in attached filed named “banner1″. Banner 2 (160 pixel wide by 600 pixel height) on the right side just in between “login” box and “adsense” box. Banner 3 (1100 pixel wide by 160 pixel height) at the bottom. Ability to load banners inside the admin area.

2. The “Send to Friend” link on the site is not sending anything to the email specified.

3. I need a program that when a member login to his or her account, he or she can invite all his or her contacts inside his or her personal email accounts such as yahoo, gmail, hotmail, and social networking accounts such as facebook, myspace, youtube, etc. Facebook and myspace are using the same technology.

4. Contact Us page: I need modification to contact us page, that when user send email through it, the page that show up will say “Thank you for contacting us. Check your email inbox to activate delivery of this request or enquiry. Your request or enquiry will not be delivered untill you activate it.”

So, in the email they received in their personal email account inbox, there should be a link to click to activate the delivery and there should be a code. So when they click the link, it will open a page to input the code and also a code like the one on the member registration page, making it 2 codes they enter in 2 different code fields.

5. Mail Issues:

A. When a new mail is received in this website user’s account, system needs to send notification to the receiver’s personal email address, to notify him or her of new mail in his or her account on this website.

B. Subsequent mail and reply box is hidden when member first click “Mail” link in his account, until he clicks on wordings under the “detail” column. See the file named “hidden” to show what I am talking about. I want it not to hide at all. So that when member clicks on “Mail” link, everything is opened. See the file named “opened” to show what I am talking about.

C. But the new mail that the member just received should be in green color. Once member close the “Mail” page and go to another page, the color now should change to regular black.

D. Email received in the users account need to show for what item he is receiving an mail for. That means, the title of the item somebody is contacting the member for, should be shown, may be in the detail column. See the file named “titled” to show what I am talking about.

6. When a user sign in, his username suppose to be on top of the links box on the right side.

The site is installed. It’s one of those premade joomla tempaltes.

I’m willing to pay $125-175 for this project. It must be completed in no more then 7 days.

My company has worked with joomla pages in the past, so we know what work goes into it. Our price we believe is fair.

Anyway I have a joomla template that will need to be modified and changed to look similar to temp agency except there will be no job listings. There will 2 logins. One for the potential employee. They basically will just fill information about their skill level, experience, attach a resume, etc.

The other login will be for employers. This will allow employers to search through employees based on different criteria. Such as skill level, location, etc.

For the template right now the following will need to be changed.

Get rid of the poll section

Get rid of Who’s online

get rid of the main menu

On the other side where it has Login form, change that to consultant loggin form.

Where it reads popular put in a form that reads employer login

Leave the home tab and contact us at the top of the page. You can keep the other tabs blank if you want.

What is there legal status US citizen, H1B status, or greencard. What market do they want to work, what city? My primary goal is to focus in on Chicago, but that might change and I can place anywhere. Also the date that the resume is posted should be posted. The consultants should have a way to mark their status as available or unavailable

I would prefer the resumes to be searched like this other than the other way by keywords because sometimes people don’t put everything into the keywords of the resume, but it’s scattered throughout the resume.

So for example they should type in the zip code of where they are looking for employess and how far away they want to look.

So say they want people for work in Chantilly, VA zip code 20151. They would type in zip code 20151 and then enter the maximum radius they will look for potential clients.

Movie Review Rating Voting Mag

I’m very sorry for the long explanation for this project. I know you are all pros. But I wanted to be clearer on what I want. This is my basic idea. If you can add more color/excitement to this project, you are always welcome.

I’m looking for a complete website (from the scratch) (back-end-front-end) (PHP MySQL) for an online movie review magazine.

The main page should have 4 parts (not frames) – Header, left, right and Main/Center area.

Main/Center should have 3 sections
Top section for news/articles
Middle section for reviews
Bottom section for voting

Top section: News/Article Section
Should have gist (not just links or not complete articles) of latest movie news/articles. Heading and 3 or 4 lines
from the article for each. There should be an option “..read full story” under every article.
By clicking the heading or “..read full story” or anywhere within that article the complete article should expand. By
clicking one more time it should compress (tree style). This section should only be managed by (siteadmin/webmaster).
There should be a content management control panel to update, add new articles easily.

Middle Section: Reviews/Comments Section
Many users can post reviews for the same movie.
For the time being anyone can post a review. But in future this should be limited to only registered users. This
mechanism has to be in place from day one but disabled temporarily.
Along with the review, user should be able to upload pictures/stills (limit to 10 not more than 100kb each) from the movie. Before submit, user has to rate the movie (0 to 10 stars) which should show as reviewer’s rating.
Once the review is posted no one can edit/modify including the review poster except webmaster/siteadmin.

Visitors who visit this website should be able to only read these reviews and post their comments for the review. They should be able to rate the review and rate the movie separately (0 to 10 stars).

(Default Display) – Only gist of 4 0r 5 most recent reviews (not the entire review, but only randomly few lines from the review) along with the reviewer name, reviewer rating, visitor rating of the review, visitor rating of the movie should be displayed with 3 or 4 corresponding visitor comments (a line or two from visitors comments) in the main/center area. (Default Display) – All these categories should be displayed with available options set by siteadmin/webmaster (radio buttons). Visitors should be able to vote on available options or also they should be able to submit a new option (not a new category) for under any of the available categories. For example they can add “abc” as a Best Actor for “xyz” movie. Once its added the Best Actor – for a movie… category should get refreshed and display old plus newly added (considered one vote) option. Visitor can vote only once on all the available categories on one calendar day from one IP address. Visitor can vote from the same IP address only next calendar day. Visitors should be able to view results at any time.

Left Section: Few navigation buttons, few links to reviews and ad space

Header Section: Logos, navigation buttons and ad space.

The most important thing is all the pages layout/colors/readability should have pleasing effect on eyes, user friendly and easy navigation. The very most important is there should be an admin control panel through which everything including site, users, rating, news/articles, voting sections are easily administered/manageable even for non techie.

Zen Cart Upsell Module

I need a zen cart module to have an upsell page that appears after the user adds a product to cart.

I want to design the upsell process around Godaddy’s model as shown here:

There should be a page in the admin where I can associate the upsell products to the products that they will appear for.

The relationship will be one way so that product B may be an uspsell for A but A might not necessarily be an upsell for B.

There should be able to be multiple upsells for any particular products.

I should be able apply the upsells to a particular product or to an entire category (i.e. I may want to have an upsell of a fuel pressure regular show any time any fuel pumps is added to the cart).

There should be the ability to have discounts applied if they order the upsell product (i.e. if you order a fuel pressure regulator with this fuel pump, then you will save 20% on the fuel pressure regulator).

And of course, this should be set up as a deployable zen cart module that can be installed on any zen cart installation.

I have a client with the following needings for a web application. I’d like you to research which applications are on the market today that cover a minimum of 50% of the functionality described below.

I need something that is open source and free, or something that is paid but gets me the full code after payment. I have a maximum of $2000,-.

To complete this task you obviously have to have experience with web application projects.

I’d like you to research this for a maximum of 4 hours and report back to me.

The ladder system need both a point and rung type ladders.
ladders also need a choice of challange, open and both.
Unlimited number of ladders, tournament, leagues and games.
A way to add/remove games from the system. Ladders and tournamnets will be by game.
When making a ladder or tournment there need to be a way to asscoite a game type with this ladders. IE a cod4 ladder or cod5 ladder.
In a point system I need to be able to asian point for wins, losses, ties, kills and deaths.
In a challange system I need to ba able to asign how far up or down you can challage a team. IE 2 rungs up or 3 rungs up.
I need the up and down of rungs seperate. IE 2 rungs up and 5 rungs down.
A way to easliy suspend/unsuspen, ban/unban both a player and team.
When a admin sets up a ladder/tournament they need to ba able to pick single or team.If it a single player and not have to be on a team just registeres for the site.

The match is not valid until the losser confirms it.
When you report a match there need to be a way to report the over all points for both team/players.

The clone site I showed you has a way to run a league. A league is x number of weeks of preseason then x number of weeks in the season. Team only play 1 game a week.
They are asigned a certain map to play that week and are asaigned the team they are going to play. We do not supply the map we just tell them the name of the map.
I also need a way to make each ladder, league or tournament public or privite. If privite I need a spot to put in a pw to join in.
Teams need a profile page where it lists all there player and servers and what ever ladders, league or tournaments they are signed up for.
Each league, ladder, tournament need a standing page. IE who in first, second, etc. This should also show each teams win and loss and win loss ratio
The league part also need a random match generator. IE the teams only play 1 match a week against one other team. this need to be random and be done with just 1 simple click.
After the matches are generated it needs to email the teams with that info.

TEAMS:
Team manager with full team control.
Player canot match for 24 or 48 hours after they join a team. player can only be on one game type at a time. IE can on be on 1 team for the 5v5 ladder. (5v5 is just a exapmle) I can explain more if needed.
Teams can asign there own team managers Team manager only control there team. they can add and remove members.
Team also need a join password that they can change.
When someone leaves a team they are no longer a team manger(if they where one)
When someone make a team they are a team manger. They need to enter there email twice. Also they need to be able to hand over the team manager to a other team mate.
Team need a country flag, they also ned a roster type page like I have now.
Team manger are the only one that can add or remove members manualy. There are also the only one that can report/confirm matchs or challange/accpect/deny matches

The button Post an article will take the visitor to a sign up page if he is not registered , the registration page will be two pages first one will require username, password, email and date of birth to continue only , the thing is the username is only used to login , at the same time when someone registers he will be assigned with a unique number which will included later as identity in the website and his article.The second page will include a confirmation letter include his information and a request to check his email to activate his membership.

If the visitor has a username and password he should be promoted to a page which include categories then another page will include a box to type his article , a box to upload max of 3 photos if needed and a check box which will ask the poster if he need to publish his article or not when hes done .If the poster choose not to publish the article will stay in his control panel again with the option to publish or not.
If someone comment on your article he should receive a notification.

STAT TRACKER:

Psd To Wp Conversion + Coding

I’m building a discussion site, and will be running on wordpress. The project consists of converting PSD-templates to WP and building extra functionality.

The main changes to WP are:
- converting PSD’s to WordPress
- create a page where users can submit post suggestions that will be added in the admin as draft posts
- private messages system where users can send each other private messages (probably available as wp plugin)

The project needs to be finished friday the 27th.

FUNCTIONALITY IN EVERY TEMPLATE
Header
- The header image should change every 30 seconds with a fade transition, preferrably not in flash
- The logo should link to the homepage
- Buttons:
+ ‘Alle discussies’ goes to the homepage
+ ‘Prive berichten’ goes to mail_inbox.psd which will be the private inbox, and should show a number if the user is logged in and has unopened messages (like this: Prive berichten (3))

- People can submit questions, problems and idea’s in the question box.
+ The entry box has space for two lines
+ The color of the box changes with the type of submission, blue for question, red for problem, yellow for idea.

Create a music store with the following functionality:

This site will handle the buying and selling of music files such as mp3s. It will involve integration to payment processors such as paypal and google checkout, and is expected to be built using a framework such as Symfony, Zend, or Drupal. Some graphics and HTML slicing **WILL BE PROVIDED**. Also we are programmers ourselves so we will be monitoring the project closely. As an alternative to building from the ground up drupal can be used and built on. Please NO OPEN SOURCE E-COMMERCE SOLUTIONS. Also ONLY LAMP solutions NO ASP, NO JSP.

General Summary: This site will facilitate the transaction of music files for a price yet to be determined (YTBD). The site will feature music created by the in-house producers. Simultaneously, independent producers should be able to upload their own music to the site, and offer them for sale. The producers may be charged a subscription fee, YTBD. The independent producers will earn a portion of the revenue, also, YTBD. There needs to be an affiliate program which rewards affiliates for linking customers to the site. Furthermore, people will be able to ask questions to the in-house producers it will be answered by the admin account. There should be a comment system to each file posted, allowing registered users to comment, and talk amongst each other and to rate the song (similar to amazon.com’s 5 star system)
