I need to change the logo of my blog with logo of my website which is a logo and menu.

I have a WordPress site installed. I would like some changes to the theme / layout / function. The theme is nice and I would like to carry the look throughout the site.

I have noted some changes I would like.

From the home page, all the different links will click to different sub pages. The sub page you create will be a template so I can use it (content page, info. page, about me page) throughout the site ( I will add all the content later)

I would like the changes to be within the WordPress theme/structure, In other words, I would like to retain the function of the wordpress admin panel , adding content to the sub pages , the same as I can now add content to a “post” . I want it to still function like a wordpress.
I do not want a typical “Blog” with posts, comments , blog roll and all that.
I dont want comments at all. I want a wordpress that looks and feels more like a regular website , Home page, content page(s) , about page, etc..
Eventually The wordpress will function as a DVD Sales website with shopping cart “view cart” , shipping and all that..

Please explain briefly with your bid, How you will alter the theme , or what you intend to do (add a widget ? add page template? ) I would like to have an idea of the final result before I award the job.

Two plugins, fully compliant with WordPress 2.8:

1. One plugin that I can use to manually query YouTube with a specific query and obtain specific user-chosen number returns within the WordPress administrative area (in other words, I want to be able to enter a query and tell the plugin to return only X number of videos). Each return can then be previewed and checked to be embedded as separate posts to the WordPress site. Prior to final posting, I should be able to choose a title for the WordPress post, category or categories, and appropriate tags. This plugin should be able to used over and over manually whenever I want without disturbing those videos already posted and embedded.

2. One plugin (which can be the same plugin or a different one) that I can use to manually query Ezinearticles.com, ArticlesBase.com and ArticleDashboard.com (or any combination of those directories, chosen through options on the administrative panel at the time the plugin is run) with a specific query and obtain specific user-chosen number returns within the WordPress administrative area (in other words, I want to be able to enter a query and tell the plugin to return only X number of articles). Each return can then be previewed and checked to be embedded as separate posts to the WordPress site. Prior to final posting, I should be able to choose a category or categories, and appropriate tags. Rather, we just want users to authenticate via FB Connect or OpenID and that will allow them to post comments; they won’t actually be registered as a user on the blog by “logging in” we kind of just want to lower the signal to noise ratio on comments by creating a gateway of authentication…

RPXNow (www.rpxnow.com) is a service which enables content providers to access a single API through which authentication for multiple identity providers can be used.

We’re looking to modify the RPX Now WordPress plugin (http://rpxwiki.com/WordpressPlugin ) so that instead of creating a user on the WordPress side upon successful authentication, a cookie is dropped which siginifies that the user is “logged in” to the blog. The cookie will also contain the name and email info that would be used to fill out the WordPress comment form so that the form is prepopulated for logged in users.

Deliverables

The deliverables for this project are 1) a customized version of the WP RPXNow plugin which instead of creating a users on the WP backend upon succesful authentication simply sets a cookie which signifies that the user is logged in, the cookie should also contain the name and email info that would be used to fill out the WordPress comment form so that the form is prepopulated for logged in users 2) updated comment.php and header.php which contains Javascript to check for the existence of the cookie and if it exists, displays the comment form for a user to comment and if the cookie does not exist, prompts a user to “Login” using their FB Connect or OpenID etc.

We need a WordPress plugin that is able to retrieve a keyword-specific RSS feed, and then parse the first several entries into a DIV below the main WordPress post content. This will be used to find related links across other sites that can be shown below the WordPress post content.

Specific details of what is needed:

Processes during each page load:
1. Capture any referring keywords from HTTP_REFERER, store as variable (if available).
2. Check for custom field value in WordPress post. If one exists, set variable to content of the custom field.
3. If neither of these values exist, check category ID of the post and then randomly select from associated keywords. Set variable to this value.
4. Retrieve RSS feed, substituting previously set variable for {keyword} in feed URL.
5. Parse first X number of results (exact value set in admin panel), and display the feed information inside design template after the post content within the WordPress
