I need someone to digitise text from hard copy. Attached are 3 files that will explain what is to be done…

1. A Word doc – this contains a proforma table. Each column has title and reference number (for your purpose only). The text is to be typed into the columns from images, a sample of which is the next document.

2. An image file – this is a sample of where the text has to be copied from. The image has reference numbers that correspond to each of the column numbers in the Word doc. The numbers indicate which bits of the text go into which column.

3. A zip file- This contains 35 images similar to (2). The reference numbers are not repeated but the layout is identical.

This work needs to be completed within 24 hours.

For this reason I would rather a team than an individual.

I have purchased a website template that needs some fine tuning. I decided to swap out the images and added my own text in place of the placeholders.

I use an open source email program called D a D a M a i l to send email and text (SMS) messages.

It has a field for the text that is sent to emails and another field for the text that is sent to the cell phones.

I need to build into the script so it has 2 different footers one for the emails unsubscribe and the other for the text message unsubscribe.

Then into the footer for the text message unsubscribe is the code to initiate the script that will run and automatically check the email address from the header and unsubscribe them.

I need to change the text in a PSD file. Not a big project but I use fireworks and the PSD isn’t rendering perfectly… so if I edit in fireworks the lighting, etc… won’t match up when I use the updated images in my site template.

The side part doesnt matter (can be blank), just need the static header, static footer and the body section. Resize the page, see how the top and bottom stay and the text goes up?

Features that I need to replicate:

I am looking for someone who would rewrite about 8000 ~ 10000 word text from scanned pages into any document file and send them to me. All you have to do is rewriting the text exactly as it is… word by word… you don’t have to change anything. These pages are from a regular book so it should be rather easy project for a patient person. There must be no errors.

What you have to do is:

- print out the scanned pages

- rewrite the text exactly as it is ( you can use Word or what ever you want to do so )

We need a programmer who fix a SQL injection attack. Our client has a shopping cart with a products table. Every product in the table had text injected into the description field of the table. We need the text removed (1000 products) and need to have SQL Injection fixes installed. The injected text is most troubling for our client in that there is so much text, it crashes the website when attempting searches. The text could be removed for the most part programatically and if not, then the old fashioned way of deleting the text one at a time would work too.

I want to combine the content into one banner and make it web 2.0 SEO friendly and clickable stating “Click For FREE Videos”

I have attached the left graphic which if resized to fit into about a 1 inch high banner – I hope the fruit image won’t distort.

The text on the right image I would like to include, but the black graphic is not needed.

Once done, I will insert this completed, professional looking banner where the current two graphics are inserted on my home page.

Project Brief

A Visitor visits website and decides to order an image.

They add the text decide on the font from a drop down list and colour. They decide whether they want a 3 d shadow effect click on either a calculate button or auto updates with prices. An option is also available if they want to add an image only available from either a drop down list or other method and they can move it in there image where they like.

If visitor decides to buy they click on add to cart and all of the info is captured and transferred into a Viart shopping Cart Product so when I get the order I know what the customer wants in reference to the image ordered. Each order will also have a custom id number and the image is saved on my hosting account named as per the custom id number.

Behind the Scenes

I need a php script that generates an image with the website user adding:

Text
Size of the image they want in mm or inches
Colour of the font
choice of 3 d shadow inc gaps etc
3 D Shadow Colour

etc

There also needs an option whether to show the text proportional with the chosen font going by the width and ignoring the height input by the user or just sizes added by the website visitor where if its not proportional it shows its not just like working in Photoshop.

There also needs an ability to show a 3d effect facing either up down left or right etc with a choice of how much gap between font and shadow and colour choice of shadow.

There also needs to be an option to show actual size which will show only a magnified portion of the image text since it will not fit on the screen if for example the image is 500mm in width x 150mm.

This will also need to be able to calculate a price depending on the size chosen.

THe price qoute needs to be calculated using different price points.

Length x width is calculated then if between .01 and .04 charge $460

.05 x .09 charge $250
.10 to .20 charge $210
.21 to .36 charge $180
.37 to .56 charge $150
.57 and over charge $130

A percentage charge must also be coded so if they choose a 3d shadow they get charged an extra fee in % of overall price. % fee will be added in the settings script.

The way the calculations need to work is if an image is 300mm x 75mm this equates to 0.225 which case the script would multiple 0.225 x $207 which would give a total price of $46.57. If the option of shadow is added and its setup at %10 via the settings script then the total price would show teh overall price ($46.57 + 10%)

All of these settings chosen by the web user needs to be added into a viart product with all options exactly as typed and chosen by the website user in the product order. These include sizes, font colour, font types etc

In the setup admin or settings of the php script I need to be able to:

Choose HTML code for the colours of the text and font and the ability to add 1 or 50 colours and all colours setup as Colour #1, Colour #2 etc, change prices and so on.

The script will need to show particular fonts from a folder on the hosting package and displayed as Font 1 Font 2 etc automatically and added as Font 1 or 2 into the Viart product.

I will also need to be able to set this up in mm or inches and all calculations need to work anyway set bia the setting sor admin script.

An option whether to disable the 3 d shadow effect is also a must and if disabled must not be visible.

I need something simple, not confusing and on one page so as soon as a change is made its visible.

This is a simple job for someone familiar with php image creation and calculations and viart.

Basically to avoid confusion this works in 2 parts.

Part 1 is the script where someone can create an image with font colour shadow effect options etc. Once the webuser is happy they click on a button and price is either generated or generated as data is added with each bit of data eg fonts, colours, 3d shadow type, text, sizes etc

Part 2 is when the order button is cliked the data in part 1 is transferred to a product setup in Viart. IN Viart you can create custom text boxes for a product and the transfer would take place from 1 text box of the script to a custom text box in the viart product.

Project is to be done in PHP and would prefer to limit the use of client side scripting such as javascript.

I need a simple data manipulation application programmed. It can be programmed in PHP and run from the web (preferred) or it can be a desktop application.

If you know how to work with text files and CSV files then you should be able to do this project. Here is a description of the project:

The application interface will have the following input fields:

A.) Master text file:________ browse button
B.) Word in master text file to replace __________
C.) CSV data file:_________ browse button
D.) Folder to save output text files______ browse button

Detailed description of input fields:

A.) The master text file will be a text file with content in it. There will be a browse button to select this file on the users desktop.
B.) This will be a simple text field where the user can enter a word. When the script is run (detailed below) the word entered here will be replaced with the word in the CSV file.
C.) The CSV will have two columns. The first column will have the word that will replace the word listed in B.). The second column will have the name of the text file that the output should be saved to.
D.) This is the folder where the output will be saved to in the form of a text file. The name of the text file that the output should be saved to is described in the second column of the CSV file.

The Process of the Script:

1.) Look at row 1 and column 1 of the CSV data file
2.) Create a text file in the folder that was browsed in D.) above with the name specified in column 2 of the CSV data file
3.) Import the master text file to the text file
4.) Replace all instances of the word specified in B.) above with the word in column 1 of the CSV data file
5.) Repeat the process going to row 2 of the CSV data file
6.) Loop through all rows of the CSV data file

NOTE: If column 2 of the CSV file has the same name as a previous row (the text file already exists) then the script should append the new text output to the file.

So we are going for a very “Web 2.0″ look and feel (God I hate that term) so JS/AJAX is a good thing.

A very poor mock up/wireframe of the home page is attached. Please only use this as a rough estimate, the sizing and such is not accurate.

I feel there are 3 customized area’s of the site and the rest of the site should be able to be essentially templated. But lets take it page by page.

I say possible as there is a footer area that will display a bar of social networks that we are on and link to our presence so you may just want to leave it at RSS…. This is an area that I certainly need some design help in. I will attach some examples of the styles, and for the coming soon area the example on the sdnnow.com site is ok. But i dont want the text to be on the side I want the text to either be under the image or floating and partially transparent on the image.
The recently released section should be different I was thinking a horizontal slider and a vertical slider. But again this part to make it look “BEST” I kind of leave to you. This does not need to be attached to the CMS portion of the site, but I guess if it can be done easily than that would be a bonus (Pulls from a category, which holds the individual posts that populate the displays) I know I have seen templates on template forest that do this.

I really like the amplify slider and I love the way the sleek slide does the motion. Javanize is an example of a horizontal system. Now the question is how to get this to display and look good with both the Coming Soon And Recent Releases.

- Company text area… Just a block of text similar to what we have on the site already. Again does not need to be attached to the CMS but it would be awesome if it was.

- Recent News (Attached to the CMS system)
- Block Area for “Recent” News Items – Displays X# of headlines clicking should go to the news page for the article.
- Block Area for “Recent” Press Releases – Same as above just a different category.

- Social Network Line (32×32 or 64×64 icons that link to our presence on social networks and such)

- Footer Another possible location for mailing list but I think somewhere above the fold is better Ive seen it with both. Would contain copyright info and also be a link farm to our other websites

2) News/Press Releases Page
- Some sort of basic CMS page that would display the news items and press release items clicking the link would take you to the article page

3) Our Games and Websites (A better name for this is needed)
- In the sdnnow.com site we used a joomla plug in to create a catalog and elemenated the cart and check out features. At one point I had the system completly customized and working but my web designer at the time decided to take it into her own hands and changed it causing me to fire her….

There are some catalog plug ins for wordpress but I have no experience with them. The ability to enter in new projects and template the output is the main goal. I think this can be accomplished using custom fields and such in a worst case situation.

A) Main Catalog Page will show a graphical representation of the product and be grouped by social network (Category) . Clicking on a product will take you to a detail page, one thing to note.. a product can exist (and will) on multiple social networks (in multiple categories)

Large Graphic on the side will be links to the games forum, screen shot gallery (lightboxed), games wiki page, icons to represent what categories (networks) it is on that will take you to the game. Under this will be text about the game.

4) Forums this will lead to our vbulletn forums.
- If you can do the css customization to match the web theme that would be great.
- If you can add a few mods to it (we have instructions its not hard just a time thing) that would also be great otherwise iframe or something it into the site so our navigation and footers persist.

5) About Us
Again this should be a simple CMS thing. About us is actually a few different sections once we finish it.
Our Company, Our People, Our Philosophy I assume these can just be categories and the text can just be posts. So there would be some form of navigation and the post.

6) Jobs
We wish to list the jobs we are currently hiring for. We want this in two pages. One with them all listed out and summaries and then the next page with details.

7) Contact
Just a simple template that we can put contact stuff into. (page template?)

Support
Just again another “Page” I think,… We would actually have some links in this as well as widgets that display information from our support systems. Just template this out and if its just a page style we can edit it in wordpress.

So really only the home page, the catalog and the jobs page I think pose any type of issue outside of standard wordpress stuff, and chances are someone with the experience with wordpress can bang this out.

This is an area that I certainly need some design help in. I will attach some examples of the styles, and for the coming soon area the example on the sdnnow.com site is ok. But i dont want the text to be on the side I want the text to either be under the image or floating and partially transparent on the image.
The recently released section should be different I was thinking a horizontal slider and a vertical slider. But again this part to make it look “BEST” I kind of leave to you. This does not need to be attached to the CMS portion of the site, but I guess if it can be done easily than that would be a bonus (Pulls from a category, which holds the individual posts that populate the displays) I know I have seen templates on template forest that do this.

I really like the amplify slider and I love the way the sleek slide does the motion. Javanize is an example of a horizontal system. Now the question is how to get this to display and look good with both the Coming Soon And Recent Releases.

- Company text area… Just a block of text similar to what we have on the site already. Again does not need to be attached to the CMS but it would be awesome if it was.

- Recent News (Attached to the CMS system)
- Block Area for “Recent” News Items – Displays X# of headlines clicking should go to the news page for the article.
- Block Area for “Recent” Press Releases – Same as above just a different category.

- Social Network Line (32×32 or 64×64 icons that link to our presence on social networks and such)

- Footer Another possible location for mailing list but I think somewhere above the fold is better Ive seen it with both. Would contain copyright info and also be a link farm to our other websites

2) News/Press Releases Page
- Some sort of basic CMS page that would display the news items and press release items clicking the link would take you to the article page

3) Our Games and Websites (A better name for this is needed)
- In the sdnnow.com site we used a joomla plug in to create a catalog and elemenated the cart and check out features. At one point I had the system completly customized and working but my web designer at the time decided to take it into her own hands and changed it causing me to fire her….

There are some catalog plug ins for wordpress but I have no experience with them. The ability to enter in new projects and template the output is the main goal. I think this can be accomplished using custom fields and such in a worst case situation.

A) Main Catalog Page will show a graphical representation of the product and be grouped by social network (Category) . Clicking on a product will take you to a detail page, one thing to note.. a product can exist (and will) on multiple social networks (in multiple categories)
B) Product Detail, will show the product (by drilling into the existing catalog you can get to this page it was modified but you can get the idea) http://sdnnow.com/index.php?Itemid=2&option=com_zoo&view=item&category_id=14&item_id=1

Large Graphic on the side will be links to the games forum, screen shot gallery (lightboxed), games wiki page, icons to represent what categories (networks) it is on that will take you to the game. Eventually we will feed out game events from the game to a jquery spy scoller just leave room for it for now.

Under this will be text about the game.

4) Forums this will lead to our vbulletn forums.
- If you can do the css customization to match the web theme that would be great.
- If you can add a few mods to it (we have instructions its not hard just a time thing) that would also be great otherwise iframe or something it into the site so our navigation and footers persist.

5) About Us
Again this should be a simple CMS thing. About us is actually a few different sections once we finish it.
Our Company, Our People, Our Philosophy I assume these can just be categories and the text can just be posts. So there would be some form of navigation and the post.

6) Jobs
We wish to list the jobs we are currently hiring for. We want this in two pages. One with them all listed out and summaries and then the next page with details.

7) Contact
Just a simple template that we can put contact stuff into. (page template?)

Support
Just again another “Page” I think,… We would actually have some links in this as well as widgets that display information from our support systems. Just template this out and if its just a page style we can edit it in wordpress.

So really only the home page, the catalog and the jobs page I think pose any type of issue outside of standard wordpress stuff, and chances are someone with the experience with wordpress can bang this out.

We have a website that has about 140 pages. I need to have just the text copied from the pages, in the websites CMS and pasted in a simple Text Editor (like Microsoft Note Book) to remove the formating.

Then the text is to be copied from the Text Editor and pasted into new pages inside a website using a Joomla CMS.

The page layouts will be the same, with just text no pics.

The “Discriptions and keywords” will need to be moved as well from the old website to the new website.

After doing this site, we have about 10 more web sites to do.

You MUST have experience with moving text and using Joomla CMS sites.

We will test you with 2 pages, and show you a pic. of what it should look like.

This is NOT hard, just time consuming.

I recently hired a designer to design my business card, but I’m no longer happy with it. I’ve started a new design here…

I will also need some text added to border the business card (as in the example card). The text has been added to the back of the card so you can begin on the back, but I have not decided what the text frame on the front of the card will say.

The contact info on the back needs to be styled appropriately so it is more prominent when printed actual size.

In summary, the card is pretty close to being finished. I’ll say as much as 80% of the work is completed. You’ll need to:

- Restyle the contact info on the back
- Retouch the background (front and back) to resemble the example card
- Create a border of text on the front and the back. Note: the text on the back is already there, and the front is to be determined.

This project is a NEWSLETTER GENERATOR not to create a website.
The idea is to create a e-newsletter generator that is computer based for PC and MAC and also that is web based.
The idea is to create a simple newsletter generator to be used on any computer, so must be compatible with PC and MAC and then using this structure and adapt it to be able to instal on my website hosting space/server, It will be a similar idea of the CMS. This way the same idea will be online, I just have to log in to have access to it and then just customize it.
The text contents could be similar with the text editing of the CMS.
The PC and Mac structure must be very easy to instal, just a simple click to open the application, nothing complex, please.
The online version will be helpful because if I don’t have a computer with me I can use the online newsletter generator and this way it will allows me to have access to it anywhere where there is internet available.
Any of this structures computer based and online must avoid me having to open any document type of document: notepad, text edit or similar in order to create the newsletter content. It will be a similar idea of the CMS.
The online structure must be easy to instal on my server, the same simple way as a html site files are on the hosting space server, something similar or aong the lines of ……….xyz.com/newsletter.
It also this way also allows me to take as long as I want to produce a newsletter content piece because it is on my server. With always the option of saving the scratch text at any time.
In both cases when I finish to customize the contents I can send the e-newsletter by clicking submit.
Must have a simple autoresponder, easy to customize it.

- I can manage the simple design structure of the e-newsletter with images and text. It

I dont know what email program this would work best with, so I am open to suggestions.

It is also important that i am able to change the text as needed. So if I want toc hange my message, I can do that, and the program will still pull the right variables.

I’d like to be able to hit a button, and the program pulls the info from excel, feeds it into the text, and sends the emails 1 by 1.

All of the emails cannot be sent at one time – they must be delayed. Ideally 3-4 minutes apart, or 10 every 15 minutes. If that cant be done, let me know.

To all Professional Flash Programmers.

I currently create websites using Sitegrinder and then use a CMS called Surreal CMS.

Using Surreal CMS I then want to be able to add a ‘ flash button ‘ the the page that increases and decreases the size of the text on the HTML page.

It is important that the flash button be able to increase/decrease the size of the all the text on the page relatively. What I mean by this is if the Heading Text is 16pt and the Body Text is 12pt that the flash button will increase/decrease the size of the text proportionately throughout the page.

I had already worked with one programmer on this who said yes I can do this and created a flash text resizing button ( see attached .fla file ). This button worked well but would not increase/decrease the size of the text proportionately on the page.

When I asked him to make the changes ( as I mentioned above ) he said that he could not do it ?

Also as you will see in the attached file, the text resizing button needs a number of changes and the upload of additional files files FTP to work. It would be really great if the finished button was just one .swf/.fla

I have a simple affiliate capture page system. When I type in the text editor, the text should show on top of the affilate capture page. It does not…I need an expert in PHP to fix.

Sometimes It works initially, but when you edit or change, it will not save or accept the new text.

Also I have a second affiliate site. When you are typing in the text editor box it keeps scrolling back to the top as you are typing….this one needs fixed also. I forgot to include this one on the video but its pretty straightforward.

Again I need an expert in PHP programming to fix this fast.

I would like software that can take a paragraph like someone would send texting and using a database shorten all of their words to make the text message as tight or as few letters as possible.

We need the Refraction logo replaced with our own.

We want a similar text and style to the current logo. We would like our domain ‘AroundinSound.com’ to be the text. Opaque background, so the background can be seen (as in the demo).

We would like the attached image to be incorporated into the logo (placed to the right of the text). Put a good amount of space between the text and image.

Use the image as the favicon. Use the same text colour, with a white background.

The text needs to adhere to my module typography, and the text box needs to be white.

My website has an empty space in the top left hand corner of the FrontPage. I need someone to design a fancy graphic that I can put into that space… To get this project, you MUST show me something from your portfolio that relates to this or with a similar idea. This has been created using ActionScript 3.0 and the 3D transform tool. Click on the button ‘SPANISH’ to see the text block animate. The click on ‘ENGLISH’ to see it swap back again. We want to achieve exactly the same animation but using ActionScript 2.0 so it can be published for Flash player 8.

The grey bounding box around the text is a graphic symbol which will be made invisible on the final version but is used so each element has the same dimensions. Essentially you need to be able to animate this symbol which contains each of the text blocks.

Two blocks of text on the left are static, these are what need animating. Buttons within a scrollable list on the right change language.

We require:

1) Actionscript 2.0 to distort and transform two blocks of text per language in exactly the same way as the ActionScript 3.0 example.

2) ActionScript 2.0 to control which language is displayed and to swap between languages using the scrollable button list on the right.

There will be 50 or more languages which we will implement but we require the ActionScript to be easily duplicated and expanded by us across all the languages. You will need to demonstrate it works on at least 5 different language options (not all 50).

Please provide examples of working with Flash ActionScript 2.0 for animating 3D perscective transforms.

I need a small interactive flash peice, this is basically way t show 5 paragraphs on one screen without having to click away.
It will be placed inside a training program.

Brief description:
I would like a picture of a globe with 5 glowing/pulsing dots on it, when you roll your mouse over the dots you see a small paragrah of text.

Attached is a pic of a globe.

Overlay globe with a 5 small dots.

Each dot should be a Red pulsing dot, it needs to look inviting to click on.

When a user rolls over one of the dots, a text box will appear next to the globe (text on left, globe on the right) with the corrosponding text shown below.

Size of animation should be 680 X 360 (try to fill as much of the screen space as possible, whilst looking professional) – the globe should only take up half of this screen size as the text will fill the other space. Ensure all the text is font: Verdana and size 12.

- ADMIN panel. (with login/password for protection) A GREAT feature that guy did with the other program is there is an admin panel full of fields, but if you are signed is as the admin (both a login/pass and a cookie on the computer) there is a tiny icon beside each part that can be accessed in the admin panel. Click that icon and it opens the admin panel forwarding you directly to the field to admin that specific part).
- I’d LIKE to be able to upload the pictures thru the admin panel for ease of use.
- Ability to THUMBNAIL the full size images and pop up the full size images in a new window for specific areas. And a default image if image doesn’t exist yet.
- Ability to SORT how items are shown (ie. engines, camaro models, etc).
- The program loads with a year that the user selected from a previous page.

Click arrow again to reduce size back (likely thru java/javascript). The engine/tranny combo’s would come from the specific configured for each camaro model and variation (throughout the years) thru the admin panel which I specific every feature/option/color/specs, etc [below])
Again, hidden admin only shown icons to jump to admin panel directly to that field to edit.
- [FOOTER] SAME
- [CENTER] Display Engine pic (Either by means of a default engine for that year to be selected or random for that year) Displays the engine image and retrieves and displays the specs specific to that engine.. Again hidden admin icons for editing. Would display all engines for that year on a ROW and again repeat new rows if too many were to fit on one row. Clicking that engine button would result in page refreshing with the new engine specs and engine pic.

All information again comes from pre-configuring in the admin panel for each camaro year/model/variation. Would display an icon to represent “OPTIONAL, STANDARD, and NA”, again part of the config in model specifics. Would like to be able to TOGGLE the options (more below in the ADMIN panel section) and easily indicate what is “OPTIONAL, STANDARD, and NA” and then display that as icons on that page when retrieved. Basically the rest is usually the same table layout retreiving info and display pics and thumbnails. Clicking the thumbnail opens image full page. There are also an icon on the table to click to jump to the top of the page via #TOP which is easy enough. Some of the text (options) can be clicked to open in a window (perhaps I can display a picture of the part with some text), again edited thru admin.

- Edit information for that year or model/variation (clicking the hidden admin icon which logged in as admin would take you straight to that field for convenience).
- A NICE feature would be the ability to be able to upload pictures directly to the server folders thru the admin panel.
- to be able to list ALL the (for example) COLORS, trans, Engines, Factory Options, and be able to TOGGLE which ones correspond to that year model/variation as well. For example: Let’s say I configured a L98 5.7L v8 350 for a 1990 Camaro Z28 and I am currently configuring a 1992 Z28. It uses the same engine so I can easily just toggle that as the engine for this as well.. or.. perhaps configured a Power Seat for a specific year. Well rather than make another Power seat for the other days, I would easily just choose that out of the list of all previously added.. Likely there would have to be seperate admin panels for some of these pages as we can’t have 1 GIGANTIC admin panel especially when it’s listing all colors, trans, engines, options, etc.. Setting a default thumbnail. Ability to easily add a new YEAR, or MODEL, or VARIATION for future Camaro years.

I am attaching a zip file with our Actionscript code. The problem is that when I rollout from the second slide, the first image repeats itself. The text sometimes disappears on rolling out of the thumbnail. I have made the text invisible during the slideshow. If I make the text visible, one can see the text between the sliding images. Another problem is that the slideshow does not go back to the first slide. If you let the browser stand for 15-20 minutes and go back to the thumbnail, the slideshow behaves erratically and not normally like the one on hellodesign.com

Someone who is well versed with Actionscript 3.0 can probably figure out the problem in seconds. The person doing the job needs to make the changes to the existing code and tell us where the changes were made and where was the problem so we may fix it on other thumbnails.

We need this done in the next 12 hours.
