We would like to develop a website based on the Joomla CMS. In addition to standard Joomla functionality, the site will contain a number of custom database tables with user forms to populate the database. Some data processes will also be required:
- Calculation of sample averages, min and max values
- Data presentation: reports in table and graph formats

The site will feature unique membership type, such as administrator, ordinary user, moderator, etc. with custom workflow based on membership type.

Social networking functionality and Interface to twitter, facebook, etc. which will include invitations to new members (and tracking the origin of an invitation).

The attached ppt provide a broad outline of the site’s main features. A standard template may be used as long as it matches our company branding.

Looking to setup a job site, catering to people looking for a secondary/side job. The layout of the site will be very simple, you can reference sidejobjoe.com as an example. Four Page Flash Website + Cms

September 4th, 2009 Comments off

I need a very simple 4 page flash web site that will display video clips.
Pages:

1) flash intro (I attached the .mov file for the intro)
2) main page, with a simple flash viewer, and underneath that a series of thumbnails. User clicks on a thumbnail to view that video in the viewer. Thumbnails scroll left to right. Mouse over a thumbnail to see the title of the video clip.
3) About Us page, containing text and pictures.
4) Contact Us page, containing a simple email form

I have the videos as either .mov files or as flash files (.swf and .fla). I have the text and pictures for the About Us page. The site will use the logo from the intro video.
The provider will source a flash web site template, and add the content. I will approve the initial template, and we will do one series of tweaks.

Visually the site will take cues from the flash into. Initially there will be only 5-6 video clips to be viewed. I need the ability to easily add additional video clips, and to edit the text on the About Us page, so the template needs simple CMS functions.

This is a simple quick job. Someone experienced working with flash web site templates should be able to do this very quickly and cheaply.

Timeframe for delivery: This should not take more than a week.

Auction Site Joomla Or Drupal

September 3rd, 2009 Comments off

I’m willing to pay $150-225 for this work. You will have about 3 weeks to do the work. Most of the work will start a week from now.

My client wants a auction type site to do estate sales. I will provide you the design but you must plugin a joomla or drupal backend to it. I can provide you a free joomla or drupal template if you need. You will also need to find some free auction software for joomla or drupal.

The client is away on vacation, and won’t be back for a week, so I don’t have final approval on the site design yet. But I want to start getting in programming to start before she comes back. The site will just focus on auctioning estate merchandise. That’s the only real dynamic part. Well the home page will show new auctions pics and things like that, but that will be about it.

The site won’t have that many people selling items but there will be a lot of items being sold. For instance the client may have only 3 people selling items, but they may be selling a hundred items each. I think buying an auction software plugin should cover this though. The site will only connect to paypal express checkout. She may want google checkout too, I’m not sure yet.

I think the best option is Joomla and Virtuemart for this site. Maybe another option. There is no set cms or shopping cart we want to use.

Here are some examples of sites that will or are doing estate sales:

www.texasbid.com I don’t think he actually has an auction going but he will very soon

Aggregation Portal

August 25th, 2009 Comments off

We will be launching a new information aggregation portal for our site and for future clients.

This project will consist of developing software and building a website allowing for articles, images, audio and video from third party sources to be aggregated in blog format on the website. The goal is to create a blog or content portal on-demand using content from around the web as well as by adding our own. Platform/programing language choice is up to developer.

The site will function similar to a WordPress blog with the following additional features:

Clone Part Of A Site

August 19th, 2009 Comments off

I’m willing to pay $150-200 for a PART clone of this site http://www.studiosXXXXXXXXXXXXXarchitecture.com Removes the XXXs.

That site is huge. The site I’m making is only 12 pages. All that matter is that the menu looks the same. The site is just really a clone of the menu. How it drops down expands, tham repeats for each additional menu category.

The additional stuff on the site aren’t needed. This is going to be for brand new sports car.

So anyway the point is the site will just follow the menu design for that site and the rest of the site will be static pages, made up of images and text and not dynamic. There will be a photogallery of the car, but it won’t by dynamic.

Realtime Price Comparison Site

August 18th, 2009 Comments off

–This is being re-listed due to the large amount of bids that would not have met my requirements. Please do not bid unless you can complete this project as required.–

I’m trying to start a price comparison website, focused on the Republic of Ireland insurance market. Initially, I want to focus on Car insurance, and the site will get quotes from numerous Irish based insurance websites when a user submits their details. I’ve initally set it up to get a quote from one site and it’s developed using PHP and CURL. The site will scrape the other insurance sites initally, and when we have a demo site up and running, I’m going to contact the individual companies to give us access to any available APIs or Web Services. Once the site is up and running, I will then be looking for further services to develop price comparison sections for health, motor bike, home, travel, etc.

I’m a qualified software engineer myself, and planned to complete the website myself, but have had limited time to focus on it technically. The site has been started using PHP and CURL. Check out the draft version at: http://www.pricearound.ie/motor and select a DOB more than 20 years ago, tick the check box and click submit.

There are numerous web-sites that I want to integrate to. Some are listed below. You should be able to integrate to all of these sites.

https://services.hibernian.ie/direct/product/car.htm?_flowId=motor-flow&_flowExecutionKey=e1s1
http://quoteengine.bestquote.ie/motor1.aspx
https://www.insure.ie/car_insurance?new_quote=y&type=private
http://www.123.ie/Motor/quote/get/quote.123?conversationId=43204
https://qquote.quoteexchange.co.uk/qinx.php
http://www.nononsense.ie/
http://www.fbd.ie/
https://car-insurance-quote.aaireland.ie/AA/maindetails.aspx
https://secure.axa.ie/CarInsurance.aspx?busID=2&termsAndConditionsAgreed=true

I have a start page set-up, but this will have to be enhanced to catch more required fields from a user. A user then fills in the form, ticks the terms & assumptions check-box and presses the submit button. In the background, the site goes off and queries each site in real-time to retreive an insurance quote. It’s very important to note that this has to be done in REAL-TIME, a batch or data mining program will not suffice. It’s currently using PHP & CURL, but you may call web-services, AJAX, etc. However, java code cannot be executed on my web server.

I want to keep the user input as small as possible, so each site will probabley require a certain amount of data transformation! For example – some sites expect an age, others expect a date of birth. All website quotes will then be provided to the user in a list format with the company name, logo and quote. If an insurance companies site returns more tha one price, all quotes should be displayed (ie. 3rd Party, 3rd Party F&T and Fully Comp.) Total transaction time may take up to 20-30 seconds. Car Types, Locations, etc will have to be developed and displayed at the front end also. I can provide a list or database insert scripts of these.

Similar existing UK based sites are www.confused.com, www.gocompare.com, etc.

If this is successful, they may be a lot of additional development coming on the horizon.

Just to clarify one issue regarding the project. A lot of people are offering to do scans of the websites, and save them to a database via cron. THIS WILL NOT WORK!

As I mentioned, the winning programmer may also be asked to add further sites in later projects, as-well aas develop quote pages for Home, Bike, Health insurance.

Only serious bids will be entertained, which are accompanied by a detailed explanation of how this is going to be implemented.

All bids must be fixed price, and you should be able to start within the next couple of weeks.

Thanks.

Twitter Based Tv Review Site

August 16th, 2009 Comments off

This is an opportunity to be involved with a very exciting project.

The site will be TV meets Twitter. Visitors will sign-in with their existing Twitter account and then can search for their TV shows that they have been watching.

They can then select that they have watched the show, and they can also give it a 5 star rating as well as a 100 character review. They can also do the same with each season and individual episode of a show.
Whenever they watch/rate/review a show, it will be posted to their Twitter feed, along with a link to the site so their Twitter followers can see the show info and review for themselves.
Viewers will be able to select on each page either reviews from people they’re following, or everyone’s reviews.

The site will have a bright, clean design; lots of AJAX etc… and should be built with future popularity and expansion in mind.

All of the TV data will be pulled from TheTVdb.com, which has an XML api.

The back-end of the site will be designed with the large amount of TV shows and potential users in mind, and will allow for manual editing of data as well as allowing visitors to report inappropriate reviews to the admin team.

The above will be the beta version of the site, which is what the programmer will be expected to build. However, the beta site marks the start of what I hope will be a good working relationship, which will lead to the development of may additional features of the website, including the integration of TV listings, viewing on-demand and much more.

Data Scraping

August 6th, 2009 Comments off

I need to take data from several Yahoo pages and present it in a single page. Users of the site will be able to enter stock symbols (up to 10) and see a page with the data related to that stock. There will be no registration, the site will use cookies to store the stock symbols.

Social Network Needed

August 1st, 2009 Comments off

I need an extremely robust and professional looking social network QUICKLY developed that will have components of both myspace and facebook as well as a few new things (which I will discuss with you privately). The site will be a hybrid of cloned and altered functions from 5 different websites . This project should be fairly simple as you would only need to combine features of other websites that already exist into a social networking site and design the site to my specifications. The design should also be fairly easy because I will provide you with a screenshot that gives you the basic design of the site. As soon as you are hired for this project you will receive a detailed description of what is to be done and the links to the other sites that already offer the functions I am requesting for my site. You would simply need to incorporate those features into one site and provide me with easy administrative backdoor access to all functions. I do need an active working version of this website as soon as possible. The basic acceptable initial version of this website should be no less impressive than myspacecom .

THE SITE MUST BE SELF CONTAINED AND FULLY FUNCTIONAL BASED ON IT’S OWN SCRIPTS WITH NO FEES FOR OTHER SERVICES. The site must allow each member the option to invite their friends to join by importing emails from hotmail, gmail, yahoo, aol, and other email services in a fashion similar to facebook.com .The site should also allow the member to send out a tweet to their twitter followers in order to gain access to the site. The member should also receive points for inviting friends (and I will tell you what those points should be used for later). The site will allow people to network and connect with others based on mutual interests (such as fishing, etc.) and previous affiliation (such as hometown, schools attended, etc.). Commercialized social network software or software that is dependant upon any other source is unacceptable for the completion of this project.
The site should also have the ability to host google adsense ads and sponsored ads on every page of the site including members home pages and I should have easy administrative backdoor access to all functions. I want this site to be unique so there are new types of sections that I want added to the site and the site will have sections very different from other social networking sites. I need someone who is quick, competent and focused on providing real results. I will give you examples of what I want and a detailed description once you are chosen for the project and have signed and returned the required contract. I am hoping to choose someone today as soon as possible. You must be dependable and provide timely updates showing continous progress on this project.

There is a software function that I would like incorporated into my site. The software is currently free on another site and I would very much like an altered version of this software (with functions and design specific to my site)on my site.

The completed version of the site will contain the following:
1. group chat/video chat/video conferencing (there is a script available for you to just upload for this part)
2. ratings/ranking system that allows members to leave other members 1-5 stars and to leave them written feedback
3. area where members can upload audio
4. browse/search feature
5. apps( a place where members can upload applications and free software , with safety mechanisms to prevent viruses)
6. invite- members can invite friends
7. mail
8. blogs
9. favorites
10. forum
11. groups
12. events
13.classifieds
14. status updates
15. an area to upload video and a seperate area to upload audio
16. Several new features and functions and multiple additional sections designed to make this site unique

Please put the word phenix in your reply to this point so I’ll know that you have read the entire post and that you have a complete understanding of the project. It is very important that you be reliable, dedicated, and quick. I am looking to establish a long term working relationship with a thorough, quick , and reliable professional or company. This project should be easy for the right person.

Restaurant Review Website

I want a dynamic restaurant review website – similar to yelp.com. The site will provide information on restaurants in multiple cities, and users will rate and write reviews for various restaurants.

Users will have a detailed profile and can upload their photos. Users will be allowed to invite friends through a link, and will be able to export contacts directly from personal email accounts such as Gmail, Yahoo, etc.

The site will also include section for articles and blogs. Please note although my website will be very similar to Yelp.com there will be few additional features, which I can discuss after you post an initial bid.

Ticket Comparison Site

July 18th, 2009 Comments off

I will try to describe the concept for my site as clearly as possible .

The site will compare the prices of major ticketing sites. The site will have to parse and datamine several websites to accomplish this. The sites that will intially be used are :
1.ticketmaster.com 2.livenation.com 3.tickets.com 4.Ticketsnow.com 5.Stubhub.com 6.Razorgator.com 7.ticketnetwork.com

Essentially this will be a google like search engine where people will put in Artist. They will be then given the list of all events for that artist. when they choose the correct date and venue, our website will scan the 7 sites above and provide the results in order of lowest price to highest from all sites. We will provide a link to purchase those tickets (using our affiliate codes etc).

We will have to database all the artists dates and venues. The actual pricing can be pulled in real time. We will need the ability to eventually add sponored listings to each individual event.

This should give you a basic idea but im sure there will be further questions so please feel free to PMB me and we can talk.

Web Site Generator

July 16th, 2009 Comments off

This site / application will create a semi-static HTML website for an industry specific product. This will be accomplished through a series of questions and menus presented to the client and the sites will be generated based upon ten predefined templates.

The selected provider will be designing the forward facing website, a very web 2.0 look , and five of the templates, I will be supplying the other 5 templates. Template specifications will be provided to the devloper.

There will be a dashboard that all sites created by the same user will be able to navigate to the site and the edit panel from as well as look at web site statistics from google analytics.

The sites generated will also include a contact form that will pass through emails to the client supplied email address, and a small control panel to edit each site, this will be an individual panel for each top level domain.

In the build process the user will have the choice of adding walkscore, google maps and a valuation tool link to the site with the click of a check box.

The site / app will take credit card payment through paypal

The site will secure top level domain names though a domain registars API without leaving the site. If the requested TLD is not available alternates will be suggested.

The site will upload the created website to a predetermined web server.

Also considering twitter and facebook intergrations to let followers know that a new site and content have been published.

Industry specific information and terminology will be provided to the selected provider.

This site will need to be completed in ten business days and the budget is 500.00 US

Please PM for questions

1. Client comes to website can browse information about services and look at websites created by the application.
2. Upon decision to use the website client creates unique log-in , capcha required, based upon email address, address must be validated
3. Client logs in

Html/flash Bookshelf Store

July 15th, 2009 Comments off

Overview:
We need a basic storefront for selling books, written in HTML or Flash. The site will be running on asp with an SQL database available. Although flash is not a requirement we would like it to be dynamic so flash is probably the best choice. Our product is a single book so we mostly just need a ‘quantity.’
We need a credit card processing system, and a payment gateway to process orders. And ultimately the order will be emailed to another system.

DESIGN:
The design should look like a bookshelf. The bookshelf will contain our book facing forward along with the spines of other books. Below the bookshelf is a product info area, when the user clicks on a book, info is populated below with a button that says “buy.” When a user clicks buy on our book it should take them to an order page where we take their order information, process payment, and email the order to another machine. If the user clicks buy on another book it should just take them to amazon.com.

SPECS:
The component can either use the database or a simple XML file for populating the bookshelf, we are flexible.

We wish to take customer credit card numbers and process the payment before generating the order email.

The site will be hosted at Godaddy.com on a windows machine running ASP

Must work in IE, Firefox, and Safari.

We basically need someone experienced in web-based ordering to help consult and develop on this project as we have no experience in this area. Given our unique design, we could not find any off the shelf products which would work given our budgetary constraints. Please feel free to contact me if you need further information or feedback.

Thank you for considering our project.

Original Website Portal

July 6th, 2009 Comments off

I need to create an italian-english website portal.
For the italian zone….i need it to autoupdate its content day by day with most relevant today news from italy and from the world(written in italian language)this updating method should not be made in javascript because i read that google bots will not be able to read it so this will not help me on serp.(the autoupdating option will be managed from the admin panel in all its aspects)
I need that when a people enter my websites find the most relevant news witten in italian and have the possibility to comment them in seconds (like a kind of autoupdating blog).they will also have the possibility to vote “Yes or no” near each fact with a simple click. and to see results after they have voted.
i want also to be able to manually add my posts anyway and they can vote or comment them too.
I want it to have rss feed too.
On the main page of the site (on the right) there should be a google search bar(a small one) so that people can use my portal as their main home page.google results will display directly on my page( a very small and not desturbing bar of the site will remain up in the the top frame).
+ ebay search bar(with results that are listed directly on my webpage and then if clicked i will earn money with ebay affiliate program. i do not know if this is possible anyway let me know if it is not.)
i also need that the portal is integrated with google adsense and ebay affiliate images in all pages.
the portal should have the possibility to add a forum zone too(integrated with google adsense and ebay affiliate links too).anyway i do not need you make any forum now.
the portal should also have an youtube bar so people can search youtube videos inside a big frame of my website and will have my top bar always visible if they want to do other things on my website.

the portal should have an admin panel where it is possible to easily and fast change the keywords of all pages and manage affiliations for: google adsense, ebay, clickbank, amazon + manage banners content and general layout ,links + images and buttons.
the admin panel should have more functions possible and an easy structure.
the site will have an english zone too with the same structure but its own content (autoupdating contenct with ENGLISH news (no more italian this time)etc etc and all functions are integrated with adsense+ebay+amazon+clikbank.(everything can be managed from the admin panel)

graphich for the whole portal should be good, clear and light…related to universe space mysteries and human evolution…this is because the website will talk about arguments like: the world today, political facts, philosophy, history, mysteries etc etc.

i see that many ready turnkey websites have good integration with affiliate programs but i want mine to be a sort of portal where people can vote comment and discuss about actual news(autoupdated) or things posted by me and they have everything under control (i mean google search bar, ebay search bar, youtube search bar,a facebook button+a myspace button + twitter etc etc so they are fast redirected to the place they want if they want it and my portal website will remain open since all these redirection will open a new page or some of they will remain in a frame of my page. i still need to understand what is better about this).

site has to be easy light and clear…not flash heavy content etc etc.
it has to be an all in one portal for people that want to stay updated with facts, express their votes and opinions and want to have all the most relevant web under control at a click far (youtube ebay facebook myspace google etc etc)

this is my idea anyway suggestion are always accepted.

remember that the website has to be made with an italian zone and an english one.
so i do not know how affiliation work in this case…anyway i want affiliate images or links are in the same language of the user.
i want that when an user came on the site he is automatically placed on his own language zone(ip autochecking?) and have the possibility to change the zone just clicking one flag at the top of the page.
autoupdating content will be in english for the english zone and in italian for the italian one.
(autoupdating contenct options will be in the admin panel so i can change everything about it to take news from everywhere i prefer. let me know if this is possible.)

i do not have idea if this is an easy or an hard work for a good programmer.
all i can say is that i will not give this work to the first man that say me he can.
i want this to be a good project and made in the best possible way.
original content, original ideas and original structure and design.

this is what i am looking for.

Existing UK based sites are www.confused.com, www.gocompare.com, etc.

If this is successful, they may be a lot of additional development coming on the horizon.

Classified Ads With A Kick

Classified Ads With a Kick, For a Particular Product Line

This website will deal with a specific type of product, which I will keep confidential for the time being. The type of product involved does typically have an expiration date. The site’s primary content will be “descriptions” of many of the hundreds of products that fall within this product line we are dealing with. These descriptions may be created by admins or by registered users of the site. Users will attach free classified advertisements called “tickets” to these descriptions. The site will initially begin with no content at all. All content will be added by the site admin (me), or users. Users will have an eBay-style private message area where they may receive and respond to messages from site admin and other users they are completing a deal with. A blog and community forum will also be attached to the site.

The site must be compatible with IE 6, 7, 8, and Firefox. An per-existing or custom content management system will be necessary in order to allow me to make changes when necessary. The CMS must afford differing levels of control between system admins and site moderators. Written in Pphp using a LAMP setup (Linux, Apache, MySql, php). I would like the ability to add one-line text ads throughout the page. I would like to be able to add Google AdWords text ads on the sides of the page.

The timeframe for completion is 3 and one half months, with a two week beta testing period.

Please provide separate quotes for coding, design, and both together. You may separate the optional items or include them in the quote as you wish.

The descriptions will include the following information: product title, product description, retail price, optional link to corresponding forum post, optional expiration date, optional links to product info, and number of completed sales of this product on the website IF greater than zero. This sales number will of course be dynamic content. There will also be a place for users to vote the described product up or down. A description may only be edited by the creator, the site admin, or a moderator that the admin has assigned.

The home page will show various featured product descriptions. There will be a search box to search for product descriptions by key word(s). The search results may then be sorted by the following fields: Featured (default), Popular, Rating, Newest, Most Available, and Expired. Continue reading for descriptions of these fields.

The home page will have navigation tabs at the top, which sort the descriptions in different ways for the user. The tabs will be: Featured (default), Popular, Rating, Newest, Most Available, Regional, and Expired. When clicking on a tab, the entire web page will change. I would like to limit the use of AJAX and advanced technologies. No Flash is to be used.

Here are how the descriptions are sorted either by clicking tabs, or by sorting a key word search:

-Featured: Description order is determined by internal site administrator (me)
-Popular: Products described that have the most completed sales on our website come first (see below for more information on how this sales process works)
-Rating – The product description’s rating as voted by users. Users points may be weighted (see below under optional items).
-Newest – Most recently added descriptions
-Most Available – Descriptions with the most classified ads (tickets) attached to them
-Regional – Clickable map above. Below, sorted by state and then city with a number in parentheses showing how many offers exist for the particular city. Cities can be added.

Connected to the descriptions will be free classified advertisements called Tickets. The site will enable registered users (free registration) to post free classified tickets for the exact product in the description if they have one that they would like to sell. In the same way, users may also post a tickets under a product description if they are looking to buy one of the described products.

Tickets will include the following information:
-Product Title – This is automatically populated from the description that the new ticket is being connected to
-Link to the “Description” the ticket is associated with. Again, this is automatically populated.
-”For Sale” or “Looking to Buy” designation
-Price (determined by creator of ticket – This can be the same or different from the retail price on the description
-Payment methods accepted or offered, depending on whether it is a “For Sale” or “Looking to Buy” ticket. (eg. PayPal, Google Checkout, personal check)
-Any information that will be needed or given upon completion of the sale (ex. Name and address, telephone number, etc.)
-Detailed user score information – This is the score of the individual posting the ticket. It is derived from e-Bay style feedback from other users in prior transactions.
-The creating user’s ID or name will be kept anonymous at this stage

After you click on a product description, you will see the tickets below it that users have added that are associated with that product. If there are more “For Sale” tickets, these will show first, and there will be a tab to click for “Looking to Buy” tickets. If there are more “Looking to Buy” tickets, then the opposite will take place. There will be a couple of boxes you can check above the tickets to select “show only FOR SALE tickets” or “show only LOOKING TO BUY tickets”.

Users will then have the ability to sort tickets after clicking into a product description. They can sort by the following fields:
-Ticket creator’s user score high to low
-Ticket creator’s user score low to high
-Ticket price high to low
-Ticket price low to high

When a user accepts a ticket (ex. They want to buy a product offered in a “For Sale” ticket), the original creator of the ticket (not necessarily the creator of the description) is notified and asked if they would also like to accept. This gives them a chance to look at the receiving party’s detailed user score before completing the transaction. The receiving party is also kept anonymous at this stage.

If the offering party accepts:

-Both parties are prompted to make payment of our fee to the website. The fee will initially be heavily discounted for the first months of site operation, but they need to see that in the future, the fee will be the greater of $2 or 10% of the product cost. We will accept payment via PayPal or Google Checkout, including credit cards used via either of these payment gateways,
-When payment is made, usernames are revealed to the two parties, and the two users may begin to communicate through messaging each other in the user message area (not the forum messaging area) to exchange pertinent information.
-User messages must be automatically filtered to prevent the exchanging of email addresses, etc.
o If attempting to submit a message with a filtered word/s, the writer gets a
notice telling them “Unless you wish to edit, the following words will be
removed from your post in accordance with our terms..” The removed words
will be highlighted in red in the message. They will then have the option
to click “Edit” or “Submit”. An alert with the original message as typed
before filtering will be sent to the board moderator and site admin for
their information.
-The two parties are able to rate each other any time after payment. Ratings will include:
o An overall rating of one to five stars
o Sub-category ratings (these do not affect the overall rating)
_ Timeliness of money transferred
_ Accuracy of the ticket information
_ Communication
o An optional text review of 140 characters or less
-The two parties’ ratings of each other are not published until BOTH RATINGS have been submited, unless:
o If the receiving party’s rating has been submitted for 5 full calendar days
already with no rating submitted from the offering party. In this case, the
receiving party’s rating is published and the offering party no longer has
the opportunity to rate the receiver.
o If the receiving party never completes a rating, then no ratings will be
published, even if the offering party has submitted a rating to be
published.

If the offering party does not accept the receiver, the offering party is asked if they need to block this kind of offer or this user in the future, leading them to a new page
-Offering party may block
o the same offer from the same user,
o and/ or the user altogether,
o and/ or the same offer from all users

User Forum considerations
-users can add to each others’ forum reputation scores as at slickdeals.net user forum
-separate forum private messages
-filters on posts and private messages (with clear warnings as in the main site user messages above)
-free registration
-normal forum capabilities for registered users – search, avatar, etc.

Optional Items

*Even if these items are not implemented initially, the site must be constructed so that they may be added later if desired.

-The ability to add a ticket to your “Watching” list of tickets you want to consider for the future.
-A link beside the search box for “Ticket Search” where you may search only tickets b(not descriptions) by a key word(s)
-If a product expires before the expiration date, a user can tag the description as expired through a link on the description that says “Mark as Expired”. When this is done, a statement in red text will be put on the description that says “A user has tagged this product description as expired. Please vote it expired or active here.” The product will become expired when it reaches a certain number of votes of expiration from users. If the point balance goes to zero or a negative number from people voting it active, the warning in red will go away.
-Safari compatibility is a plus.
-The ability to change the site’s background/ wallpaper from time to time is a bonus.
-When users vote on the rating of an offer, or whether an offer is expired, their points are weighted. Here are things that give weight to a user’s vote:
o 10 points for completed sales transaction
o If 4 stars user rating, multiply transaction points by 2. If 5 stars,
multiply by 3

o 2 points for each level of Forum Rating attained
o 1 point for each portion of a year as a user
o 1 point for each 10 Forum posts
- User’s points can be set to 0 by admin if I don’t want their vote to count.

Graphic Design Considerations

-The “For Sale” And “Looking To Buy” tickets should be differing colors.
-A female graphic artist is preferable.
-no Adobe Flash
-appealing to both genders and a variety of ages and demographics
-clean looking
-offers should be enclosed in an empty, rounded rectangle
-tickets should be enclosed in the shape of a luggage tag
-minimal javascript if any
-800 pixel fixed width – non-scaling, but with a backdrop/ wallpaper color or pattern behind it
-pleasing color scheme, with colors used to highlight important areas of the page
-logo stands out, is trademarked and integrated with surrounding graphics and slogan
o I can provide some direction on the logo
-rounded corners
-shading and reflection for depth
-good use of white space
-unique, eye-catching
-very obvious search bar
-possible use of elements from US paper currency
-favicon

Wp Css Gallery Theme/template

June 12th, 2009 Comments off

I am looking for a CSS style gallery (wordpress based) and use it as a web 2.0 style directory.

(if you have developed a CSS gallery already, let me know and it could be easy to customize to what I am looking for and please provide demo)

The site be clone and have features of:
http://bestwebgallery.com (all features)
http://mixcss.com (footer widgets and rating system)
http://mixcss.com (single page layout) to showcase submitted sites

These sites/themes are free open source ‘Themes’ and can be downloaded for free.

I also want features sites on right hand sidebar (eleganthemes.com egallery fetures). I already have a theme with this enabled. So basically I am looking for a hybrid of the themes created from:

http://mixcss.com/ (download from http://www.chris-wallace.com/2009/05/04/gallery-wordpress-theme)
http://bestwebgallery.com (download from http://www.woothemes.com/2008/10/snapshot/)

http://www.elegantthemes.com/gallery/egallery/ (I have this available and using this on my site currently)

Like I said these css gallery themes are available for free. I just need someone willing to work with me to focus on creating a clon of bestwebgallery.com and using the others to enhance)

The site will actually be used as a directory. I just like the CSS gallery theme style and want to create a directory around this.

The site will also require a cool template and logo etc. Once developed the theme will be used on two different directories.

Website Designer Is Needed

Website Design

Thank you for viewing my project

I need a professional web designer to redevelop a website for me. I have had some problems lately with my web designer that involved poor communication, not being able to commit to deadlines, etc.

He designed the site and never managed to finish it the way I wanted to be finished. The website I want you to redevelop is written in none English language. I want you to add an English version about 10 pages and re organise and modernise the existing site. The site will have a video section.

Product section will be Amazon product primarily, but would also really like to include companies who have product feeds hosted through Commission Junction. The more additional sites that I can get added, the better, but these are the main 2 that I am going for. The site will also have some Google adsense displayed

Also, you must know all of the techniques to get targeted traffic for the website. You must provide proof of your skills and work. Traffic must not be “Junk traffic” No bots, no automated scripts, no incentive traffic, traffic exchanges or fake impressions etc. Traffic generation must be ethical. NO BLACK HAT!!! Please.

You will be responsible for everything else…you will help select all graphics and set up all other aspects of the website. I will provide you all necessary text. You will be responsible for turning over to me a complete website at completion.

I will require that you use some standardized software that is a standard industry norm to develop the website. The website will need to be developed in a manner that anyone will be able to update it, change it, etc.

This website design and programming must be done exclusively by you and your staff. I will not permit any of the work to be subcontracted to others. I will require review of website design and development that you have done and require references from other clients. Good results will lead to more work in the future. I’m looking for a possible long term arrangement as I have many up coming projects.

Attention to details is very important so if you have read and understood the project, please include with samples of your past work in your pm.

Thank you in advance and I look forward to work with you.

Php Motion Coder Needed

June 3rd, 2009 Comments off

We are looking for someone who has experienced or could deal using the phpmotion code to be able to customise to an extent and to make our video site more unique and professional looking.

Is a video site. I need make the features that the client sent me. He told me that could be on wordpress but i think that with all these features cant be possible. So I think that PHP Motion is the best choise.

The client sent me 2 site how to reference. The styl will be like these sites. I’ll provide the design, so I’ll need the customization. and develop some items.

The site will work in the following manner:

– Users can add video pitchs to the site (videos from youtube, and all other video websites can be embedded), also the site will automatically generate a video thumbnail.

– The video pitch can be rated and will be listed on a page in a grid format (like: cssremix.com & mixcss.com)

– Users can comment on a video

– the front page will have a flash or ajax app that will rotate the top pitchs

– look wise i would want it modern and clean look.. something like what you did for pedigree (grid look)

Overall the site will work like this site: http://www.noostar.com/

Thank you very much for getting back to me so soon.

Just wanted to ask you a few questions..

The proposed plan you have outlined.. will it deliver what i wanted feature wise and design wise?

Will it be like and actually be better then www.noostar.com?

Will you be able to deliver the functionality that noostar.com offers?

Things like:

A chart count down (once the chart ends a the chart and the winner is automatically automated and displayed).

Users can vote and comment on each pitch.

Users can save pitchs to there favourite folder (click on fav folder.. and you can see all the pitchs you have saved)

Users can add video pitchs to the website (first the videos would be added to some video website.. eg youtube..etc), the site will also automatically add a thumbnail.

Users will also be able to add images and documents with each pitch (see videeo.nl).

Users can also list there businesses and franchises for sale.. in the for sale section.

The site will have a lots of different categories, so at the end of the chart count down.. each category will have a chart and a winner, as well as a overall chart, and overall chart winner (see noostar.com for more details).

Users would also get email notification when a new pitch is added to the system.

Basically a website the will mix “http://www.videeo.nl/” with “noostar.com”.

Also using your flash skills, hopefully be able to create a flash player that will play the video files from sites like youtube..etc

Also using your flash skills to create a flash app animation for the front page, that will use xml and be able to use the pitch thumbnails in the the flash animation.

The site overall will be very different to anything else in the market. And be visually very stunning.. And hopefully showcase you skills in the industry..

I have listed the items above to illustrate what noostar.com has to offer, and what i require.

Penny Auction Script

June 2nd, 2009 Comments off

Hi There.

I am looking for a auction script that contains 3 different types of auctions included in the website design.

1)Lowest Unique Bid Auction (similar to priceplummet.co.uk)
2)Highest Unique Bid Auction (similar to bidwiz.co.uk)
3)Telebid or Swoopo type of Auction.

I do not know alot about programming, so it will be up to you as the programmer to research the sites to find out how the backend/frontend/databases etc work and integrate them into my site.

The site will also need an easy to use admin area from where i can easily set all products and settings).

I prefer something written to run on a UNIX based server, however I will consider a design for a windows based server if the price is better, or if it is recommended with valid reasons.

The site will need to integrate with PayPal for checkout purposes.

Also, please do not waste your time or mine by offering me some type of nullified script, as it will not be accepted.

I will require to see the live site in your servers and any changes to be done before making/releasing the payment. (if any changes are required).

Thank you

Membership Site

May 31st, 2009 Comments off

Hi

This should be a simple project for a designer /programmer who knows what he’s doing.

I want to build a membership site and I want a designer / programmer to develop, install and configure all the elements that will comprise the site.

The site will offer streamed Videos and audios (MP3s) and the following products:

articles, information delivered by email and a newsletter.

The site will comprise the following elements:

Static sales page with integrated WordPress blog. AMember membership software with WordPress Plugin. VBulletin Forum.

Clickbank Membership payment with “Easy Click Mate” software for affiliates to send prospects to different promotion pages.

Affiliate center (with promotional material for affiliates). Dedicated Email autoresponder and mailing system.

The designer / programmer will also html code the sales page (I’ll provide the sales letter), design graphics (head banner,
edit cartnoon image and three other images) and four other pages (privacy policy, copyright, user acceptance policy etc).

I’ll provide WordPress theme, AMember Software, VBulletin Forum, Email System and Easy Clickmate software.

I’ll provide sketch/image capture of the membership area and linking structure together with list of WP Plugins that must
be included.

As I’ve said, this should be a simple project as there’s no requirement to develop any script.

Finally, I want to lock the site down and make it secure as possible, including stopping Bots from scraping the content.

My max budget is $300 dollars. And I’ll only consider designers/programmers with experience of configuring membership sites.

Thanks for reviewing my project.

College Lead Generationg Site

May 16th, 2009 Comments off

I want to build a complete double opt in web lead generation web site. We will be collecting data for leads to different Colleges.

The site will advertise colleges all over the USA. When a prospective student logs in and seeks info from the site they will get an email to verify there interest and be able to requist more specific information about the college of there choice.

The site will only have one to two colleges in the beginning but needs to beable to expand with the addition of colleges.

We will be able to collect all the needed info from the prospective student with a survey they will fill out. Based on the information they request and there zip code or the college of there choice we will send them an auto respond…

The person building the site will need to be able to work with me in writting all the pages and be able to set it up with good SEO and be able to enable the site to get traffic.

This is not an over night project and will need a web developer that understands my needs completly. So communications will be a must.

Payment would be negoitated based on the bid and length of time to develop the site and get it working on the Net.

Any questions please ask.
