Need A WordPress Video Plugin

December 3rd, 2009 Comments off

I need a plugin for WordPress that allows you to play .flv files in a video player. So, on each post, you would just enter the url of the video in a field below the post. Then, enter a piece of code in the post (where you want the video player) and the player would show up in the post and play the video.

That’s it.

Mod Fmyscript

August 15th, 2009 Comments off

I have fmyscript and I need a programmer to do the following:

Create a blog page in the menu bar that will include pictures in the blog posts

Make the front page an admin select “Featured” page that the admin will decide which story gets thrown on the front

“Recently Submitted” page

As of now, there will only be two sections and I would like to have them listed in the top menu

Increase the post size from 300 characters to 1,000 characters and the post box needs to be resized to accomodate this

Make the post box border curved, maybe even give stories an off color border so they’re easier to read

I might need one or two more things, I can’t remember off the top of my head

WordPress Project

August 13th, 2009 Comments off

We need our corporate website to be built using WordPress. Its Programming [PHP & MY SQL], HTML and CSS project.
NOTE: We are very particular about the CSS and HTML. This being our corporate website, the person implementing it has to make sure he can do justice to creative and has to be proficient with CSS and HTML. We shall check the site for errors on Internet Explorers, Mozilla Firefox and Safari for any CSS defects and W3c compliance.
URL’s need to be clean via mod-rewrite.

We will provide the PSD’s of attached images. HTML, Database, CSS and Programming has to be done at your end.

HOME

Nothing much to be done here; It’s going to be HTML page out of the BLOG Area. We only the HTML and CSS to be developed for this Page.

POST TEMPLATE
————-
Programming and Designing to be done here. Check POST.jpg and dropdowns.jpg.
1. Posts from Same Category the post is in. Thumbnail is to be uploaded uniquely. The Thumbnail is not 1st image in the post. The image in thumbnail may not even appear in the post.
2. Tags of the Posts to Appear here
3. The Categories on Left Hand Side. This need not be wp_list_cat and can be created manually in CSS. But, the Category Menu Element selected is one in which the post is present. For example the current post is in Design, so the menu element selected is design.
4. Musthead is unique to the POST.
5. Other Cases goes to Category Page > Design Category in this example
6. Ability to play FLASH Files [like youtube videos] in post area.
7. Mail to Friend – someone clicks he can enter his email and mail is send to multiple friends.
a. Note: We like a plugin -freetellafriend -, but if it is used we want the first screen after clicking this link to be “Enter Friends Manually” and not “Use My Address Book of Hotmail. Yahoo etc.
8. Comments are moderated.
9. Use CSS to change the look and feel of “Code Tag”, for use as citations.
10. Note the shadow below the thumbnails. This shadow effect of the image needs to be implemented via CSS or JS automatically.
11. Company is a dropdown. Image Attached. These are pages and this need not be list pages.
12. Important: Carousel unique to each post with Fading/Rotating Images on right. Some very Crude Examples are running here: [http://bit.ly/5jrlf] and [http://bit.ly/6jdg1]; these are created using wordpress plug-ins. These fading things are images and not flash. We should have the flexibility to add as many images as we wish. LEFT SIDE IS STATIC CONTENT which we should have the ability to enter. This Static content doesn’t changes with fading images as seen here [http://bit.ly/5jrlf].

CATEGORY TEMPLATE
—————–
Programming and Designing to be done here. Check CATEGORY.jpg
21. Unique Header for each Category.
22. Category of Post
23. Note the shadow below the thumbnails. This shadow effect of the image needs to be implemented via CSS or JS automatically.
24. Thumbnail is to be uploaded uniquely. The Thumbnail is not 1st image in the post. The image of thumbnail may not even appear in the post.

August 8th, 2009 Comments off

I’m looking for somebody to make 180 blog comments for my different casino websites. My BUDGET IS about 0.10-0.25 for published comments.

You need to write a two to three sentence post on the topic of blog. You must write a comment according to the topic, I will go back and check every post to make sure it was written according to topic I will not pay if it is not about the topic. If the post is not 2-3 sentences I will not pay. If the post looks spammy I will not pay.

I will give you an anchor text keyword. If the blog does not look to allow anchor text you will use a name of a person that I provide for the anchor.

All the comments should come from casino/poker related blogs with DO FOLLOW attribues (no follow links will NOT be counted), higher PRs are benificial and will bring you more work in the future.

I will also not accept any comments on blogs that are spammed with mass comments from drug sites, porn sites, those egold sites or any type of mass spammed blog comment sites, if you post on such sites I have the option of not paying for any of the comments, in other words do not post on these blogs.

You must add here to the deadline that you set for your self, I need these done quickly and this project cannot drag out for longer than 12 days. I have the options of not paying for the whole project if it goes beyond 12 days

Payment will be made 10 days after all the links are confirmed, I will require a detailed report on when and where the post were made.

PLEASE SHOW YOUR PREVIOUS WORK IF YOU WANT TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE PROJECT.

NO FOLLOW LINKS WILL NOT BE COUNTED. YOU MUST KNOW WAHT IS A “DOFOLLOW” COMMENTS.

My BUDGET IS about 0.10-0.20 for published comments.

WordPress Theme – Custom

July 10th, 2009 Comments off

I am looking for someone to build a custom word press theme based on a layered PSD file and the following specs.

The front page must show the two posting categories side-by-side. The post must appear exactly side by side based on their category. There will be two main categories and the post should be fed in order within those categories based on their meta tags.

The goal is to create a blog with a “point/counterpoint” theme.

Only bid if you have experience with creating side-by-side post and manipulating the post for a specific order.

We will pay progress payments via escrow and release funds after we see that it works properly.

Hello,

We have a blog at elikaassociates.com/blog. When we post new blog articles it appears the post title tag not only displays the title of the post but also the title form the blogs homepage. We would like the title tage of the post to only read the title of the post.

i.e: http://www.elikaassociates.com/blog/?p=107

This is a wordpress blog, we also need to make sure that changes reflect in all previous posts as well.

WordPress Fixes And Additions5

June 28th, 2009 Comments off

I have a website that runs on wordpress: http://tinyurl.com/l3z8j7 and
the theme I use is Aperture from Woothemes. The site has an adult nature.

I need to have a number of tasks done :

1) Would like a page where a new person can go to get started. This should be a page which aggregates specific posts tagged “get started”. I believe that the plugin called “AZIndex” (already in the plugnins on the site – not activeted yet. ) can do this. Check out the website http://azindex.englishmike.net/ to see if this plugin will work for that.
- either install and setup this plugin to allow me to create a page that aggregates all the posts marked “getting started”
- or-
- find another way to do this
–> the task is complete when a page is created that aggregates these particular posts, shows a short exceprt of the post as well as the picture associated with the post

2)Archives Page:
- problem: the theme comes with a standard archives page template, which doesn’t seem to be working
–> the task is complete when the archives page works as seen in woothemes.com demo of the theme

3) Newsletter Sign-Up Page:
- the problem: the code from aweber for capturing a name and e-mail address from a visitor doesn’t fit well into the theme.
–> the task is completed when the sign up page text fits the CSS for a page in the theme (font, formating, etc.)

4) Post Template: “Site Review”
- idea: to have a special posting template to be used for reviewing sites. This template should always have certain specific content sections (standard information about the type of site being reviewed…I will send you the content fields for this) displayed at the beginning of each post, before the actual text review of the website. The standard content block can be of slightly different colored background and have a frame around it – see the example of “RabbitsReviews.com” given in the video. The template should also have the same image resizer and image association function as the other posts do in the theme. This will then allow a picture to be associated and displayed for the post when it is being aggregated on a page.
–> the task is completed when a post template is created that has a standard layout and content sections as described and discussed. This template can be used to create posts and that these can be aggregated on a page with an associated image….as described in the next task

5) Aggregation Page for Site Reviews
- the idea: I would like to have a page which aggregates the sites reviewed (each site is reviewed as a post). This page would normally call the most recent 10 sites reviewed on the first displayed page but would offer an arrow at the bottom to see more pages (each page with 10 site review posts displayed). The aggregated site review posts will be excerpts of the first 40 words from the post plus the headline, the associated image will be shown to the right of the text, and the complete excerpt will be framed with a light-colored dotted. PLEASE SEE THE FOLLOWING DEMO SITE AS AN EXAMPLE: http://www.studiopress.com/demo/streamline.html (the posts listed, below the picture are a good example of what I mean)
special filter function: it will be necessary to have a filter function that users could use that would call up and list sites based upon specific grouping data (listed sites would be displayed looking the same as described above). For example, a user could filter and see only sites rated at 4 stars and above, or sites that have contests to particiapte it. The filtering/sorting criteria would be drawn form the “standardized fields” described in the special post template above.
–> the task is complete when a page is created that can aggregate and display these posts as descibed above and discussed as well as when the filtering/sorting function works.

6) Post Template: “Couples”
- the idea: to have template which has certain standardized fields to use when reviewing couples. This template should always have certain specific content sections (I will provide you with this information).This is very similar to the “site review” template, in essence. One important function/feature of this template is that it should allow for is that there should a large space at the top for featureing a picture or embedding a video form the couple…this should look similar to the On Demand theme, shown in the video.
–> the task is complete when the post template is completed as described.

7)CSS For Text:
the benchmark for the text usage and legibility is http://www.problogger.com
Standard post text should have the following charcteristcs:
- font: Verdana or Tahoma
- font-size: 1.4 em;
- line-height: 1.6 em;
- margin: 0 0 1.5;
–> task is complete when blog text changes made to CSS

8) Post Template (for all types of posts)
- the idea: to include more information about the author at the end of post (short author blurb, I’ll provide these as well as description of look and feel), have similar or recommended posts in order to keep reader reading on the blog, buttons that allow the post to be “Tweeted” or added to Facebook
–> the task is complete when at the end of each post the author blurb, 3 similar posts are suggested (these should be inserted to the left side between the “previous post” and “next post” and a “tweet this” and “add to facebook” buttons are displayed also on the left side, below the “next post” link

I need someone to start work on this and finish the majority of these tasks in TWO days.

- font-size: 1.4 em;
- line-height: 1.6 em;
- margin: 0 0 1.5;

——————

I need someone to start work on this and finish the majority of these tasks by tomorrow morning EST.

Wp Plugin To Display Rss Feed

May 11th, 2009 Comments off

We need a WordPress plugin that is able to retrieve a keyword-specific RSS feed, and then parse the first several entries into a DIV below the main WordPress post content. This will be used to find related links across other sites that can be shown below the WordPress post content.

Specific details of what is needed:

Processes during each page load:
1. Capture any referring keywords from HTTP_REFERER, store as variable (if available).
2. Check for custom field value in WordPress post. If one exists, set variable to content of the custom field.
3. If neither of these values exist, check category ID of the post and then randomly select from associated keywords. Set variable to this value.
4. Retrieve RSS feed, substituting previously set variable for {keyword} in feed URL.
5. Parse first X number of results (exact value set in admin panel), and display the feed information inside design template after the post content within the WordPress

Joomla Voting Website

April 26th, 2009 Comments off

1. Develop a joomla component that allow user to vote a user submited post base on 3 attribute (YES / NO / CRAP)

2. Workflow are as follow:
-> User register as member
-> Control Panel Page
-> view submitted post
-> submit new post
-> invite friend to vote for the post (able to grab contact from major social websites / email like gmail or msn. something like plaxoinvite)
-> friend will receive email about the post and asking them to vote. They need to register in order to vote. And choice for admin to set without register also allow to vote
-> in the post should have content and title. Summary of vote statistics [YES:80%] [NO:10%] and also [CRAP:10%]
-> when invited friend vote for the post, they can select only 1 choice out of {YES, NO, CRAP}, they also able to write comment.
-> when user see the post, should start with title, then content. then statistics [YES, NO, CRAP %] in large and bold word. Follow by 2 columns which left column is comment of [YES] selection, on the other hand is [NO] comment.
-> the comment list should have paging. One page list only 10 comment. When user click next page it should reflect directly on screen without refresh (AJAX)

Fmylife_com Clone

April 25th, 2009 Comments off

Hello, I am in need of an FMyLife clone. This project includes 2 variations of the FML site…

Here are the details of the project. It may look like a lot but it’s really not, it’s just very detailed in description. Please review carefully and let us know if you are capable of completing this task. Keep in mind we are looking for a long-term relationship as we want to have someone to make modifications to the site in the future. If there is an aspect of the following details you do not understand and do not think you are capable of completing professionally, please tell us before we proceed further.

Version 1:
The sight will be just like fmylife. I would like a light green background instead of light blue.The posts will be in the same format and only 300 characters allowed for posts just like fmylife has. Anyone will be able to post a story (they will not need to be a member to read and comment on stories posted). All the posts must be forced to say a certain word (I will provide the word later on) at the end of them just like fml. I would like the quotes that readers can click on to say certain phrases (I will specify these later also, and just like fml, I just want to use these different titles). The top will have links that say HOME – Become a Member – Submit – Link to “the site”.

I will need a user name password and login area to be put at the right where they have their categories section, and I don’t want a category section.I would like an area under the login area for members to upload and share their pictures. Only members can view and share pics. It must be easy to be a member (simply a username, password, and email address). Anyone should be able to post a story and view them (so they don’t have to be a member to do this). And I need some places for ads.

Version 2:
Exact clone in terms of function and interface of the fmylife webpage, search capabilities, categories, etc. The script is made using the CakePHP framework so basically PHP & MySQL. I need this code to be exceptionally tight and clean – keep SEO in mind along with extremely high traffic – we don’t want something clunking up our servers. The site will be put through stress tests to verify the coding holds up so experts only!

- I want users to be able to moderate the posts just as in fmylife now and I want a simple way to see the new posts as they come in, in addition to being able to see what users have selected as they also moderate (i.e. “yes” or “no”)
- When making posts, users also have the ability to “append a photo” to the post
- A category menu (I will be selecting less than 10 categories to use) where users making a post will be able to select with category they want their post to fall under
- On the comments page for a particular post, the post will obviously be displayed first, then “Comments” and the ability to monitor (ON/OFF) just like in the original FML but right under that is “Add a Comment” and once a user comments it appears directly below where they just typed so the newest comments are at the top of the page and members do not have to scroll to the bottom to add a comment.
- Posts number which will correspond with however many posts there have been before that as in the fml now
- Store & API functions/areas
- A members section just the same as there is now with (login / password / email / allow to follow the different posts) and the member profile where they can add information about their self, photo, birthday, etc… just like the site has now.
- Within the member section I want the user to have the ability to “favorite” particular posts (you could just add a tiny “heart” image that will change red when a member has selected it as his/her favorite and an area in the members section when they login so they can view all their favorites, just like the site has now.
- Users do NOT have to be a member to make posts but they do if they want to comment on a particular post
- Moderate section where the visitor can accept or not a post in order to help the filter
- A form box within the comment section (next to where the user selects the “category” for the post) where a user can begin typing in a name (we will provide you with a list of names) and as they being typing a list of names appears below the form which corresponds to what they are typing. In other words, as they start to type, for example, “pen”… names such as “penny” and others that begin with “pen” appear and they can make their selection from that. I am sure there is a name for this feature I just am not aware of it. Sites such as facebook use it when searching for a user name. And within the post, if the user does select a name, which will not be a requirement, the name will be visible next to the category. So the category and the name will essentially be “tags” for the post if that makes sense. I know it is not as complicated as I may have made it seem I just want to be clear in what we want done.

The members area will entail much of the same benefits as the current FML:

WordPress Post Ticker Edit

April 2nd, 2009 Comments off

On my WordPress blog I added what is called the Post-Ticker plugin which scrolls the latest posts across the top of the page. I like the feature but hate the way it looks. I’d like to do the following things:

1. Change the text size so it is a bit bigger. I’d like it more inline with the text on the site. I’d like the ability to adjust this text size going forward.

2. I only want to show the post Titles without any of the post information behind it. Just the title and maybe the Date the post was added trailing behind it.

3. I’d like each of the titles to be clickable so it takes you to the post. Right now it looks like every other post is clickable with those in grey not clickable.

4. I’d like each of the titles to be in the red color think the hex code is #aa0000 with some space between each title.

If you need the URL ahead of time PM me.
