Moviemaker 2.6 Trouble

I have 5 movies I created in MovieMaker 2.6. The movies are a conglomeration of .avi clips. The CLIPS have sound and appear normal.

However, when I save the file into MOVIE form in moviemaker 2.6, the sound disappears in parts of the movies.

Can you help? The movies are 5-15 minutes long, help me save them!

Video On Demand Solution

I am seeking a video on demand solution for movies. The movies will be stored on a shared Linux server, meaning the software to stream the movies will probably have to be installed on the .net server and accessed from the main site which is a .net site. They should be secure, the user will have to be authenticated to watch them. (ie paid for the view) The solution should be a format we can convert the movies into from a DVD source.
