I need a wordpress theme with the look and functionality of answerblip.com . Except, I will, of course, need a different logo. I like the incorporation of the cartoon character into the logo.
Also, this theme will require a different background. I would like a background like http://www.findlaw.com/.
Notice, On answerblip.com, there is some customization. For example, on the home page, at the bottom, there are two html text blocks where I just want to be able to enter text. And, the site automatically feeds in the number of tags and the number of posts on the home page.
I will just be structuring the site a little bit different. See that instead of categories on the home page, the links at the bottom are just links to pages. These are just manually entered links in columns that I will need.
Also, this site will not use categories. It will use the WordPress tag structure.

2. Users would be able to create accounts which allow them to post comments, photos, videos, and add events to a calendar. They would also have profiles that would contain certain information about them. They would also have the ability to send messages. I think this could potentially be done using BuddyPress without too much difficulty.
3. I would like an events calendar that users can upload content to (and if it’s not too difficult, these events would have the ability to be linked to news stories and/or picture galleries)
4. Users would be able create/join groups and create events for that group that would go into the calendar.
5. Administrator accounts could add new stories and edit other site content.

The site design and layout should be based upon the white/light version of the Imperial WordPress theme found here: http://themeforest.net/item/imperial/47783. I would like the following changes made to it in terms of overall design:
Green accent color (lime green)
Additional space – The three column layout creates a cluttered feeling that I’m hoping could be fixed by spacing things out more
Web 2.0 makeover – Any of the design characteristics of Web 2.0 sites (Web 2.0 buttons, rounded edges, Web 2.0 icons) that can be added would be great.
Switch the nav bar to be bellow the page header. (I will give you materials for a new header later today)
Left Column
Here are the components I would like in the left column.
Top Stories Display – The current display that is in the top left is okay, but I would prefer if you could change it so that the story descriptions on the right of the picture moved underneath the picture so that it only takes up one column.
Blog/News Posts – These don’t necessarily need any design changes. However, if it is possible to make so that when people click “Read More,” the additional text is displayed on that same page without opening to a new page. I guess this would require Ajax or something like that. If that could be done for comments as well, that would be outstanding.
Center Column
Here are the components I would like in the center column. I would like to have areas in this column that display the following information in the following order from top to bottom:

Okay, as far as the user accounts go, I don’t think they should be too difficult to set up, but I’m not completely sure since I’ve never done it before. One of my friends has done similar things, and his programing/web design skills aren’t much better than mine, so I’m sure it wouldn’t be too difficult for you.

This section should list upcoming contests and the results of past contests. Hopefully, these contests would be able be able to appear in the events section as well. Users would be able to upload content here by adding it to the events section and then clicking an option that said “Intramural.” Only moderators would be able to add the results of the contests. My client has a current site at http://idtsoa.com/. They want the home page redesigned with Flash added. I have the revised home page concept (including the 4 Flash “slides”) in a layered Photoshop file.
The two deliverables (to be uploaded to http://s271686403.onlinehome.us/idtsoa/, which is not a live site) are:
1 – Home page redesigned and tested with Flash included (one HTML file, one CSS file, images, .fla and .swf).
2 – Interior page template (one HTML tested HTML file, images, and accompanying CSS), saved as http://s271686403.onlinehome.us/idtsoa/insurance/main.htm. I will personally be building out the other pages of the site.
FLASH PORTION SPECIFICATIONS:
- Only the portion of the page that changes — the part in the dark gray box (including the box itself) — should be done in Flash. The rest of the page should be done in HTML+CSS.
- I will provide the font and I want the text to be done in Flash — not as a static image — so that it can be edited on an ongoing basis. So I will want both the .fla and .swf files.
- The version of Flash required for the site visitor should be version 8 or lower.
- The order of the Flash sequence is as follows:
1. Business
2. Individual
3. Associations & Affiliates
4. Insurance and Financial Pros
- Each slide should stand still for 20 seconds before changing to the next slide.
- Transition effect should be a fade between slides.
- There is a Flash control needed — the user will need to be able to mouse over each of the four slide names at the bottom of the big gray box and click on the name they want. Upon mousing over any of the names, the name turns yellow and the white triangle slides to move below it. On click, it turns white. The “on page” state is shown, which is yellow. Once the user clicks on one of these names, the slide stays fixed on his selection and no more transitions happen unless he reloads the page.
- When the user clicks on the “details” word or icon next to the word within the Flash gray box, the word “Details” will change to white, and it will take the user to a page link that is dependent upon the slide the user is on at the time. In addition, if the user clicks ANYWHERE on the slide EXCEPT the “controls” area described above, he should be taken to one of the pages listed below (dependent upon which slide he is currently seeing). Here are the slides and what each page’s link should be:
1. Business – business/main.htm

3. Associations & Affiliates – associations/main.htm

SITE-WIDE HTML+CSS specifications (see attached interior page template for look and feel):
- Default font site-wide should change to Arial.
- All copy on interior pages remains the same.
- To make your job easier, the width of the pages and width of the navigation is the same as the current site.
- I need the new top navigation “tabs” look implemented site-wide (site is less than 20 pages, all done as static HTML). The on page state and mouse-over state should look like the “Insurance & Financial Pros” tab does in the navigation on the attached mock up.
- Navigation tabs should be done as <li>s for easy ongoing editing.
- Navigation tab size should look as they do on the mockup — each tab has a width specific to it.
- Page needs to validate with W3C.
- Page needs to be tested in IE and other major browsers (I can provide access to a fast testing system if you want to use mine) to ensure that navigation works and the page design does not degrade.
- Page background on all pages (outside of white area for main page content) should change to yellow as shown in mockup.
- Positioning of elements and styling should be done within the style sheet whenever possible, not in the HTML.
- Copy existing Meta data and page titles.
- Page needs to scale taller if more text is entered in ANY of the three columns.
- Middle column needs to expand to fill space where right column is now if there is no right column content.
- Link color, bullet style and h1, h2 and h3 styles should be done as shown in attached file.
- In the sidebar, the the twitter icon and text next to it should link to http://twitter.com/idtsoa
- Also in the sidebar, the LinkedIn icon and text next to it should link to http://www.linkedin.com/companies/id-theft-solutions-of-america
HOME PAGE HTML+CSS Specifications:
- Navigation tabs should be done as described in the section above.
- The current little slideshow feature on the existing http://idtsoa.com/index.htm page should be moved to the bottom right corner of the home page and made shorter (as shown in mockup), but not so short that any of the images are cropped (cropping white space is o.k., cropping the colored part of an image is not).
- The “Join this list” and “Associations & Affiliates” in the bottom right corner box on the home page need to be links to associations/main.htm.
- The About Us box header (lower half of home page) should be a link to about/main.htm
- The Latest News box header (also lower half of home page) should be a link to about/main.htm
- All the boxes’ bottom lines need to line horizontally — so they should be fixed heights.
- In the “Follow us Online” box, the the twitter icon should link to http://twitter.com/idtsoa
- Also in the “Follow us Online” box, the LinkedIn icon should link to http://www.linkedin.com/companies/id-theft-solutions-of-america

Change the width of the video to fit nicely on the page. The video
is currently on youtube.com and in a flv file format.
Remove the “Categories” tab on the side bar and remove
(popular, comments, featured, tag cloud) replace the

button that is on the page. The video on the side bar must
be the last item.

The site has some minor issues that need to be fixed asap. here is a list of problems.
*The site needs to be able to accept all of these file types for video uploading. This is the MOST important problem and I would like this to be fixed FIRST before any of the other issues.

Also, for some reason when I pull up the site in my iPhone it the home page looks messed up, but when i click on the other pages they look fine. I think there is just an issue with the index page.
I called a local programmer and he said that a good programmer should be able to fix these small issues in a few hours, a single day at the most. I need this to be completed asap and I’ve already spent all the money I can on this site so all I can afford now is $50. I am now relisting a similar but expanded project that I am looking at completing in the next couple of months – no rush just trying to find someone who can do it and get ideas before starting. (time frame for this is form completion about September)
I have a web site – www.geronamo.com.au. It has the basic design I would like, except I want to change a few things. It has quite a lot of flash which I can’t update myself. I currently update the rest of the web site in Contribute. Can you please look at the site and tell me if you can do the following and give me an estimate of cost:
1. Remove the Flash or make it so that I can update the flash elements. This is mainly on the home page.
2. Photos section – I would like this redone so that the photo section shows photos along the lines of something like Picasa. Have a look at my own picasa family albums and see if this would be incorporated into the site or if a similar one can be added to the site. http://picasaweb.google.com/craigandclaire. I would also like to be able to upload photos myself – I currently can’t do that. I would also like to be able top add a watermark at the bottom of each photo to make it harder to copy them.
3. I would ideally like to be able to update and edit content on the site on line instead of using Contribute. Can you enable this with the current design?
4. I don’t like the current font. I would like something a little crisper and cleaner. Can this be done throughout the whole site?
5. You’ll notice banners in the team building section. For example Hollywood Blockbusters has a banner. Can you design these? if so how much to design a banner?
6. I want to move several things around on the home page.
a. I would like to move the large flash file / pictures, which rotates with the 5 main program areas about half way down the page under the video section, and put it in place of the free teambuilding ideas blue flash banner.
b. I would like to move the ‘free teambuilding ideas’ blue flash banner to the right hand side and make it one of the smaller buttons.
c. I would like to move the 6 ‘hot programs’ to the right hand side and move all of the right hand side buttons underneath to the bottom of the home page. I would like to change some of the names of the right hand side buttons and I will let you know what those changes are later on.
7. I do not like some of the colours – for example the green and orange could be changed to different hues or even changed altogether in place of other colours. I am thinking of getting rid of green altogether from the site.
8. What do you do in the way of SEO? I would like to ensure our site is optimised for best SEO.
9. I would like certain keywords placed into the site but I unsure how to insert them.
10. I would like another 3 basic web sites created that I can link back to this site for optimisation purposes. Do you have basic web templates and how much for 3 of them.
11. I currently have the weather on the front page for 3 areas. I would like to have a seperate weather section now and remove the weather from the front page. I would like to add the weather for 3 other areas into the weather section.
12. I would like to add a blog to the site.
13. In the contact us area or make a booking area I would like people to put in a verification setting to prevent bots from taking our email addresses and using to them to add to spam lists.
14. I would like to put a little texture into the side bar menus. Instead of them being a green block of colour I would like the to have a texture something like the side bar menu in this example at this web address: http://psdvibe.com/tutorials/photo_gallery_layout/Picture%2036.jpg Note the grey side bar and how each selection has a different shade of grey.
15. I’d like to add some more text to the front page – yet to be decided what that text would be.

1. When you click a button in the header i.e. airfare search it will take you to another page with the header still there in that page you have a sub header with the following: Home | Flights | Hotels | Cars | Vacation Rentals | Destination Guides
When you then click home on the subheader it takes you home but with two headers.
2. the home button in the header doesent take you home it just seems to refresh the top header.
This is an affiliate site for travelnow.com and if possible i would like these fixed, you could reomve the home button from the sub header if the home button works in the main header.

I have a single PSD which needs to be sliced into two distinct tables based HTML layouts.
One version will be for our home page and the other one will be for interior pages.
I have the PSD and will want to have Yahoo IM access to the designer making the slice.
I WILL NEED THIS TO OCCUR TODAY IN THE NEXT 3 to 4 HOURS. IF YOU CANNOT IMMEDIATELY SLICE THIS PSD QUICKLY IN AN HOUR OR TWO, DO NOT BID.
The top row of navigation links will be replaced with a text based navigation solution so leave a space for that(cut the example navigation as rectangular region and ill replace it in the html with my navigation code.
The video player only appears on the home page so the interior page should just have a wider content region here where the video player is for the home page slice.
The graphical content title (Welcome to the … & Associates, LLC Web Site) is being handled in the content by a pcdtr call using style sheets and a php class to make text titles into images so that graphical title should be cut out with the content region and does not need to be in the template.
I need a list of all the font names used in the psd so I can use them in the google-code pcdtr title text to image class I am using.
The search box will be replaced with the google search widget. Please account for that in your slice in that area as well.
The four rectangular images at the bottom are links to content pages, just slice them with <a href=”#”></a> around each one for now.
The source PSD is attached. The video in the PSD only goes on the home page, and so interior pages will simply be wider in that section to leave out the video and have wider content.
I am posting this at 1630 EST, and I must have the finished result by no later than 2030EST – do not bid if you cannot meet this evening’s deadline.

I have a website which has already been created. I added a blog and I would like for the blog to look similar to the home page of the website.
The web designer who created the image files for my website provided me with the PSD files, thus, the images are already done and available and the main site is live so it is easy to see what it should look like.
WordPress is already installed on the server and thus all that is needed is to take a theme and make it look like the home page. I may want one slight change wherein the recent posts are listed on the right sidebar, and this is not how it looks on the home page.
This should be easy for someone who knows how to work with images and WordPress, thus I am hoping to have it complete within 2 days.

I have created what is so far a very small website. Even though I place items exactly where I want them to appear, they do not line up in the browser. Not only do they not line up in the browser, they line up differently in different browsers. I have created two templates in Dreamweaver for these two pages. I would like for the programmer to make the changes in the templates so that all future pages will line up too.

In this link # 2 you will see the main image on top and bunch of images at the bottom, I want the page with the same combination but the bottom thumbnail images should be changed to flash when you click one image that becomes big and others become small and so onn for all images. 8. On the left side box at the bottom you will notice the testimonials section; I need the testimonials scrolling up in the same place one at a time.
I have given everything in detail so later you will not say that I didn’t mention that and you don’t want to do it.
You can see other than 1 or 2 points all the others are smaller issues.

( the name of the item, picture, cost of item for the user to pay, item code number, time and date ended, users email address, and the users first and last name. ) When the bidster is used in a fixed price auction I want the users to still be able to have set their bidster to bid to a max amount , because the price will still go up, but all they will have to pay is the fixed price. In the control panel their should be a spot for me to add text in any auction to add specials on certain items. In the fixed price auctions the users checkout price should always be what the fixed price is set to; no matter what the actual bidding price went up to. I want to set up a reminder page for the users that have not yet paid for their items. With the name of the item, the balance due, a picture of the item, and the item code number ; even if they log out and log back in. But they should still be able to bid on other items. All of this should be displayed after the animated lady congratulates the user. I want to be able to type in a date and time of when each auction will end from the control panel and to be shown live in each auction. This way an auction will not linger for long periods of time. In the control panel their should be an option to set an auction for a fixed price or the price that is shown when an auction ends. I want to incorporate a feature called a bidster{reference swoopo.com} their feature is called a bid butler. I want mine to be called bidster. The bidster will bid on the behalf of people that wants the bidster to bid for them when someone out bids them.
