I am creating a joomla site that functions as a city portal. To finish the site I need these tasks completed.

1. Customizable entry forms for sobi2 with categories as a drop down instead of tree structure. There will be a few different custom forms assigned to different categories. When a person tries to add a form and he/she is not logged in, registration must be incoporated in this form.
2. Make a google map that shows the latest 100 entries for each location on the country, state, city and main page. For the front page, it should have a map of the world that shows the top 100 entries added in ajaxified real time.
3. Create an events calendar for sobi2 so that if a person can enter a date for an event and it will be recorded in a master events calendar for that city & country. The latest events added will be listed on the front page (for the world) & also for country & city.
4. Link certain categories so that if one post is posted to United States – Nebraksa – events, it will also be posted to united states – events.
5. Create an automatic tagging features for provinces and states so that if an event is posted to
chicago, it will be automatically tagged with illinois.
6. Speed up the whole system by tweaking server settings and improving code.
7. The logo for each page needs to change for each city or country for example if it’s chicago
it needs to read mysite.com/chicago as the logo. The logo needs to be generated with a font on the server and stored as a .gif or .jpeg in a cache.

I am now relisting a similar but expanded project that I am looking at completing in the next couple of months – no rush just trying to find someone who can do it and get ideas before starting. (time frame for this is form completion about September)

I have a web site – www.geronamo.com.au. It has the basic design I would like, except I want to change a few things. It has quite a lot of flash which I can’t update myself. I currently update the rest of the web site in Contribute. Can you please look at the site and tell me if you can do the following and give me an estimate of cost:

1. Remove the Flash or make it so that I can update the flash elements. This is mainly on the home page.

2. Photos section – I would like this redone so that the photo section shows photos along the lines of something like Picasa. Have a look at my own picasa family albums and see if this would be incorporated into the site or if a similar one can be added to the site. http://picasaweb.google.com/craigandclaire. I would also like to be able to upload photos myself – I currently can’t do that. I would also like to be able top add a watermark at the bottom of each photo to make it harder to copy them.

3. I would ideally like to be able to update and edit content on the site on line instead of using Contribute. Can you enable this with the current design?

4. I don’t like the current font. I would like something a little crisper and cleaner. Can this be done throughout the whole site?

5. You’ll notice banners in the team building section. For example Hollywood Blockbusters has a banner. Can you design these? if so how much to design a banner?

6. I want to move several things around on the home page.

a. I would like to move the large flash file / pictures, which rotates with the 5 main program areas about half way down the page under the video section, and put it in place of the free teambuilding ideas blue flash banner.

b. I would like to move the ‘free teambuilding ideas’ blue flash banner to the right hand side and make it one of the smaller buttons.

c. I would like to move the 6 ‘hot programs’ to the right hand side and move all of the right hand side buttons underneath to the bottom of the home page. I would like to change some of the names of the right hand side buttons and I will let you know what those changes are later on.

7. I do not like some of the colours – for example the green and orange could be changed to different hues or even changed altogether in place of other colours. I am thinking of getting rid of green altogether from the site.

8. What do you do in the way of SEO? I would like to ensure our site is optimised for best SEO.

9. I would like certain keywords placed into the site but I unsure how to insert them.

10. I would like another 3 basic web sites created that I can link back to this site for optimisation purposes. Do you have basic web templates and how much for 3 of them.

11. I currently have the weather on the front page for 3 areas. I would like to have a seperate weather section now and remove the weather from the front page. I would like to add the weather for 3 other areas into the weather section.

12. I would like to add a blog to the site.

13. In the contact us area or make a booking area I would like people to put in a verification setting to prevent bots from taking our email addresses and using to them to add to spam lists.

14. I would like to put a little texture into the side bar menus. I would prefer if there was one column on the left side (the new column), a smaller version of the news feed in the center, and then the other column that already exsists on the right.

This third sidebar should appear ONLY on the front page and the change should not appear on any other part of the site.

We are looking for help to complete a social networking site, running in Drupal6. In addition, we need help with some elements of the site’s design.

Underneath it we will have the different node titles (latest posts, events, groups, etc): each under Ajax tabs. Also on the front page, we’ll have the latest members, “who is online”, and more, depending on your final design of the page. 2. Good, clean user profile and an improved registration process. The user profile page will contain:

– basic user’s info (avatar pic, location, age,sex, homepage/url);

–latest blog posts/comments/announcements/bookmarks (all under tabs);

– location/map, friends, a shoutbox, and may be more.

3. Group page. Already under development, but it needs to be spiffed up and rearranged, to better present all content types. Similarly to the front page and profile page, each group page will have tabs for events, announcements, group files, with group posts running underneath the tabs.

Also we will need to display group’s location.

We also need little icon or link or plus sign for people to add content for each content type under groups(announcements, action blog posts). (For an example see here: http://teamsugar.com/ –>> “Popular Posts Today” has “Add a Blog Post | see all “.)

We are open to more involvement on your part, when you tell us what
else needs to be done to improve the site, and its social networking glue.

Simply put, we need social networking stuff be improved,
plus design improvements. In terms of content/nodes, our stuff is
pretty basic: no showcases, no complicated forms. We basically have
blog posts, announcements, events, group posts, and all of these
content types have already been configured. The only missing content type is Links/Bookmarks.

I need:

original template redesign similar to template

one page laid out with a similar feel as the template with video 5 newest blogs articles , 5 top products, a map with links laid out over the map. Simple, sleek and current page design.

2 city page layouts – 3 pages almost identical layout with 5 top restaurants.a map of city with links to specific attractions in area instead of the orignal pages map with citys as link. These 3 pages will need some sort of images of the city which I have many you can select from that would represent the city very suttlely . So each page is just a little differnt

3 extreme sports page layouts – 3 pages almost identical to the original pages but with a sections of videos for the specific sport. these designs will pages will have an image that represents the sport its self. I have many images that you could use for this.

4. I need the site to be have a site map, the links and urls to be SEF and I need the site to be SEO.

I have a joomla site with some good functionality but I need a redesign of the template because it is not original and I need something that does not say design by ___. It has a very sleek design very simple web 2.0 style. I have a logo that fits very well but it is not currently on the page I also need help laying out the pages. I need the links on the front page to be laid on top of an image. City names(links) on top of a map (image). The website has a very clean template sleek with simple feel. Also on the front page I need the five newest articles titles and first line in a box. With one video that explains how the site is organized. Lastly on the front page I want 5 top items from my virtue mart listed on the front page. I also need 3 similar page designs to the front page for 3 different city’s. same layout with map but different map different land marks to different links. I also need 3 pages laid out for extreme sports surfing, snowboarding and off roading. these three will have the same layout also with 5 latest city related articles. Video explaining page. On the extreme sports page I also want the map with the city’s with the city’s that sport is available in.
