Promotional Video

October 19th, 2009 Comments off

Hello everyone,

I’m looking to create two promotional videos for a new real estate startup due to be launched in the coming months.

The first video should be just like http://bit.ly/3uxwR

- will only need the video to be between 60-90 seconds in length.
- graphics/animation has to be same standard (or better) as above.
- I will provide the text.
- Will need ‘legal’ music

The second video will be similar to http://bit.ly/RTzPe

- 60-90 seconds
- graphics/animation same standard (or better)
- I will provide text
- Will need ‘legal’ music

Please QUOTE ONLY FOR THE FIRST VIDEO. I have included details of the second video as I will most likely hire the same producer if the first video turns out well.

I’m looking to hire a high-quality service provider with a successful track record. Also would like to see examples of previous work – preferably videos that are already similar to the ones above.

If you post generic messages not specifically aimed at my request you will not be considered. Looking for genuine, quality service providers here.

Thanks.

Data Entered 2

October 5th, 2009 Comments off

Please see the attached SQL dump. I need the following changes made:

1. Go to this site
http://www.devenezia.com/downloads/round-robin/rounds.php

2. Select Balanced on top

3. Select the number 12 on the left for items

4. Enter the data in a new SQL file.
For “spID” use continous numbers
For “spieltag” use “round
For “heim” use the first number
For “auswaerts” use the second number

5. When all lines are done you need to switch teams and add this. What I mean with this is, that a 12 Team league needs to have 22 rounds. Match one on the first game day is 3 vs. 12. So on game day 12 this should be 12 vs. 3 etc.

When you are done with the 12, do the same with the numbers 10, 16, 20, 24 and 30.

I have added the first three lines of code for you to make sense of it in the attached file for 12 teams.

Inventory Program

September 4th, 2009 Comments off

Part 3

Modify the Inventory Program by creating a subclass of the product class that uses one additional unique feature of the product you chose (for the DVDs subclass, you could use movie title, for example). In the subclass, create a method to calculate the value of the inventory of a product with the same name as the method previously created for the product class. The subclass method should also add a 5% restocking fee to the value of the inventory of that product.

Modify the output to display this additional feature you have chosen and the restocking fee.

Part 4

Modify the Inventory Program to use a GUI. The GUI should display the information one product at a time, including the item number, the name of the product, the number of units in stock, the price of each unit, and the value of the inventory of that product. In addition, the GUI should display the value of the entire inventory, the additional attribute, and the restocking fee.

Part 5

Modify the Inventory Program by adding a button to the GUI that allows the user to move to the first item, the previous item, the next item, and the last item in the inventory. If the first item is displayed and the user clicks on the Previous button, the last item should display. If the last item is displayed and the user clicks on the Next button, the first item
should display.

Add a company logo to the GUI using Java graphics classes.

Part 6 (Final Part)

Modify the Inventory Program to include an Add button, a Delete button, and a Modify button on the GUI. These buttons should allow the user to perform the corresponding actions on the item name, the number of units in stock, and the price of each unit. An item added to the inventory should have an item number one more than the previous last item.

Add a Save button to the GUI that saves the inventory to a C:datainventory.dat file.

Use exception handling to create the directory and file if necessary.

Add a search button to the GUI that allows the user to search for an item in the inventory by the product name. If the product is not found, the GUI should display an appropriate message. If the product is found, the GUI should display that product’s information in the GUI.

Batch Automation Program

August 30th, 2009 Comments off

I am looking for a clone of a simple autohotkey script, Hijack HoldemRanger. The script works with another program called Holdem Ranger, I would like the clone to be similar to the original, except work with PokerStove instead. Below I have included more detailed instructions. Please let me know if you need more clarification. I will make prompt payment and would like this project completed as soon as possible.

Hold’em Ranger is a program used to calculate the odds of a hand of Texas Hold’em Poker. Hijack HoldemRanger is an autohotkey script that is used to automate the process of evaluating the odds of many different hands and compiling all the data together [both programs are included in the "Bulk Hand Range Analyzer" archive]. What it does is allow a user to define the input, in the automation processs one is static and the other changes. What I have labeled “A” is the changing input. The user defines a list of poker hands which are individually copied into the first field of Holdem Ranger. The field labeled “B” is static. That is copied into the second field on Holdem Ranger and stays the same throughout the process. What the program does in the process is start, for example, with AAo in the first field, and “55+,A9s+,KQs,ATo+” in the second. It then will press “Calc Equities.” Once the result has been returned, it then copies only the first field along with the “equity” to its right [converted to a decimal], it does not press “Copy to Clipboard.” When it has finised the list in field A, it compiles all of the data and presents it in a comma delimited list in the results field.

Now, this script works very well at what it does, however, it is fairly limited. Notice how Holdem Ranger has 6 fields in the hands column, however, the script Hijack HoldemRanger is only able to 2 fields of input. This is because Holdem Ranger has a very difficult time handling more variables simply because of how complex the calculations become, and it becomes unresponsive when it attempts to. There is a very similar program to Holdem Ranger, called PokerStove. While this program is still slow at handling the extra variable, it does not become unresponsive during the calculation so it would be a better candidate for what I am doing.

What I would like is for you to create a program similar to Hijack HoldemRanger except that it works with PokerStove and allows me to use more than 2 variables while recording the result in the “Equity” field next to the first field. I would like to have it be able to run on multiple instances of PokerStove simultaneously. Finally, I would like to have a sort of batch feature installed with the program which I will do my best to explain below:
In the first field I will have the list which will be worked through. In the Second field I will have another variable which we will call 1. In the third field I will have three different variables, X, Y, and Z. I would like to be able to go through the list with the second field set to 1 and then the third field set to X and when it has completed the list in the first field, then change the third field to Y and go through the list again, then change the third field to Z and then stop after it has completed the list.

Let me know if you have any questions, Im sure there are a lot of areas that need further clarification.

Excel Macro Unix Date Conv

August 29th, 2009 Comments off

Need an Excel Macro(s) written that will:

First, when Excel is opened will let us load a CSV file that allows the simple running of the needed macros.

1. Take the existing UNIX Date/Time Field: 2009-08-03 15:40:42 and split it into two different fields (Start Date and Start Time)and applies that change to all data in that column. Eastern Standard time if possible.

2. A macro that will ask the start time (this is for the listing time of an auction in the future) and the number of minutes auctions should be spaced apart and the row numbers affected. Once answered, the macro will make the first auction “Start Time” for the rows selected the time identified and will then make the next “Start Time” x min after the first. Objective is that if there are 5 or 500 items to list for auction that we have control on time spacing them apart. We need control over affected rows as we may wish to make the first 20 auctions 5 min apart and the second 20 10 min apart.

3. Final Macro will re-create the Unix Time Date Field but containing the new “Start Date and Start Time”, in the same location as the original field and delete the individual fields (Start Date and Start Time)as no longer needed. At the same time it will modify another UNIX field (also containing the same formatted data but will be set to 48 hours after the data in the “start date” and “start time”. No need to convert this data out of UNIX unless necessary.

4. A simple macro to create a CSV file

Happy to clarify any questions.

Further Work On My Site

August 15th, 2009 Comments off

Here are the next things for the site that I would like to get done.

1. For the leagues that get created I want to add a logo. So that we have a logo that we can display
2. When I go on available teams, I want the logo of the team and the logo of the league displayed as well
3. When I click on standings, I need the standings of my teams league displayed without selection but I also need the option later to select other leagues standings as we have it now.
4. The standings need to be colored. Places 1-8 need a color and 9-X another color. I need these colors to be editable in the backend.
5. I need the play offs calculated. This should work as follows. The first eight teams of each league make it into the play offs. They play like this according to their standings: 1vs8,2vs7,3vs6 and 4vs5. They play it as a best of five which means they play until the first team has three wins. The winner moves on to the semi final where the best team of the first round plays the worst. So let’s assume 1,3,4 and 7 won their games, the next round would be 1vs7 and 3vs4. Again, best of five and then the final best of five again.
Of course this needs to be displayed nicely with the games and scores and dates. Each game should be on a different date and the dates should be editable in the backend.
The winner of the highest league in one country should be the champion.
The winner of a lower league should move up one league.
The attendance needs to be calculated for these games as well. We use the formula we already have. I need something in the backend where I can do the following changes:
We have our normal attendance and I want to increase this by X %. This means I want something in the backend for the first play of round where I can set a value for the min and max. For example I want between 20-30% more people I have a min of 20 and a max of 30 in the backend. The program chooses by random a number between 20 and 30 and multiplies the attendance by that number.
The same for the semi finals. I need an option to enter numbers for that and then again for the final.
6. I need the play downs calculated. All teams from position 9 to X need to play the play downs. They will play each other once at home and once away. So in our leagues with 14 teams, we would have 10 games. 5 home games and 5 away games for each team. This will generate a table again and the last team of this table will go down a league.
The last team of the lowest league is just last and nothing happens.
7. We need a balance sheet. This should only be viewable for each manager, so not public. The start budget is what each team gets for the start. Of course each team has spending and income.
Spendings right now are: Players salaries
Earnings right now are: Income from attendance, Sponsor payments (not finished yet)
The salaries of each player need to be deducted after each game. This is the salary per game that the player has. No matter if the player plays or not, this needs to be deducted. Also the amount agreed per goal needs to be deducted if a player scores a goal. This should also be done right after the game.
The income from the attendance needs to be added after each home game to the home team. Of course this is Attendance * ticket price
When something is deducted or added, an Email should be send to the manager and it should be listed on the website in the managers balance.

Need Profit Manager Ea

August 13th, 2009 Comments off

Hi.
I am looking for a programmer to program an EA for me.
I trade the forex with a mt4 platform.
I am looking for a simple to use Expert adviser that will manage my trades as they progress from an entry order or a manual order.

I would like the following:

order_ID_number ……
Stop_loss …………….
TP1_Pips …………….
TP2_pips …………….
Lots_per_take_profit ….

That’s it. A simple system that tracks my entry order or open trade, Takes 1/3 of the open position off and moves the stop loss to break even plus 1 at the first level, the 2nd 1/3 off at the 2nd level and leaves the rest running to be closed manually.

The ea could be programed to manage the 1/3 – 1/3 – 1/3 instead of lots unless there is a way to program for fractional trades like an original entry of an odd number like 0.134000 mini lots..

The ea should be able to trade a micro, mini or standard account.
It should also be able to adjust for 5 digit as well as 4

I paid another programmer up front to program an ea for me and he took my money and sent me an ea that didn’t work. He refuses to fix the ea or even return my repeated requests. His name is Vladimir Ignatov from tradingautomatics.com
Vladimir got his Ea to take the first profit off but he couldn’t get the stop to move to break even plus one on the remaining 2/3. I noticed that with interbank fx the order number changed when the first lot was closed. The 2nd position would not close..

I do not like people who cheat other people out of money and I want other people to watch out for this guy Vladimir from www.tradingautomatics.com

I have other Eas I want programmed and I represent a large group of traders.

Thank you,

TraderJoe

Simple Binary Tree Inventory

August 12th, 2009 Comments off

You are to write a program that creates and maintains a binary search tree of items in a super market. Each item has a name and a value. All item names will be lowercase alphabetic strings of less than 30 letters. All values will be positive real numbers representing prices. Also, for each node in the tree, you are to maintain the value of all of the items in that subtree. Your tree should be “sorted” based on alphabetical ordering of the item names as determined by strcmp. Your program must allow the user to do the following:

1) Add an item to the inventory
2) Delete an item from the inventory
3) Print out all of the items in the inventory in alphabetical order.
4) Print out the value of all items underneath the subtree of a given item.

For example, if the user adds these items:

a) “soap”, $2.95
b) “raisins”, $2.00
c) “jellybeans”, $5.00
d) “tea”, $1.95

Input File Specification (inventory.txt)
The first line of the input file will contain a single positive integer, n, representing the number of commands to execute. The following n lines will contain one command each, in the other they are to be executed.

The first number of each of these lines will be either 1, 2, 3 or 4, to signify the choices listed above.

If the choice is 1, it will be followed by the name of the item added and its price (as a number), both separated by spaces.

If the choice is 2, it will be followed by the name of the item to be deleted.

Choice 3 will be on a line by itself.

Choice 4 will be followed by a single string storing an item.

Output Specification
For each command, your program should provide some output.
The output provided by each command should be separated by a blank line.

For choice 1, if the item to be added is NOT in the tree, output a line with the following format:

item has been added to the stock.

where item is the name of the item added. If the item is ALREADY in the tree, output a line with the following format:

Sorry, item is already in stock. No changes made.

For choice 2, if the item to be deleted is IN the tree and is successfully deleted, output a line with the following format:

item has been deleted from the stock.

If the item is NOT in the tree, then output a line with the following format:

Sorry, item couldn’t be deleted because it’s not in stock.

For choice 3, the first line should read:

Here is a list of the items in stock:

Each following line should have information about one item and the list should be in alphabetical order by item name. Here is the format for one of these lines:

item $price

The price should be printed out to two decimal places exactly.

Finally, for choice 4, print out the sum of the values of all the items in the subtree rooted by the designated item. If this item is NOT in the tree, $0.00 should be printed out. Here is the format for the output for this option.

The value of all the items underneath item is $price.

Implementation Restrictions
You must store the data in nodes of a binary tree. Each binary tree node must store 3 pieces of information: the name of the item, its price, and the sum of the prices of all the items in its subtree.

Sample Input File
11
2 soap
1 soap 2.95
1 raisins 2.00
1 jellybeans 5.00
1 tea 1.95
4 raisins
3
2 raisins
4 soap
4 cereal
1 soap 3.50

Sample Output
Sorry, soap couldn’t be deleted because it’s not in stock.

soap has been added to the stock.

raisins has been added to the stock.

jellybeans has been added to the stock.

tea has been added to the stock.

The value of all the items underneath raisins is $7.00.

Here is a list of the items in stock:
jellybeans $5.00
raisins $2.00
soap $2.95
tea $1.95

raisins has been deleted from the stock.

The value of all the items underneath soap is $9.90.

The value of all the items underneath cereal is $0.00.

Sorry, soap is already in stock. No changes made.

Just A Quick Website Fix

August 11th, 2009 Comments off

When I view this page in Internet Explorer and Safari, the two images (index_04.jpg and index_06.jpg) appear split as in the attached screenshot. However when I view it in Firefox the images are lined up perfectly.

I don’t know why it’s doing this or how to fix this. Can you tell me why it’s doing this and exactly how to fix this. The first response with the right answer will get paid a quick $10 and a high feedback rating.

No need to do the pitch, just provide the answer and I’ll take the FIRST one that works. I’ll try the first one and if it works that person will get paid. If it doesn’t work or your instructions are not thorough enough then I’ll move on to the next one.

Please be as detailed as possible. I am not a programmer but I am good at following instructions and copying and pasting code.

Please do not assume that I understand what you are talking about because for you it is simple. Please provide the solution and the detailed instructions to implement the solution.

I am presuming this is a simple fix (just beyond my skill level). If you feel the solution requires more attention than what I’m offering, then please do one of two things.
1. Don’t bother responding.
2. Offer some useful guideance

I’ll check in tomorrow.
Thanks for your help.

Install And Replace Scripts

August 8th, 2009 Comments off

I have a script that I tried to install on my site, but was unable to install it. It is an encoded set of scripts. So I installed another one instead after getting frustrated with the first one. After doing so I realize that I prefer the original one instead because it has more to offer. The creator assures me that the original one works, but that I did not install it correcty (Which is highly possible since it was encoded and not just php).

I also have some directories and some custom pages on my site in addition to the script that is on the site now, including a directory of files and scripts that is placed below root.

What I need is a programmer, that can remove the script that I have on the site now and install the first one that is encoded. Remove ALL the files from the script that is on the site now, retain my custom scripts and pages and move the directory that is below root to a new directory that would be required by the new script. When I say move the directory below root, that would include all The programs and scripts that are in that directory as well. (The new script may be able to use that same location of the directory below root which is really what I would prefer. If it can, then there would be no need to move it. It requires MySql and I want to use a different database than I am using on my present script, so that if there is a problem, it would not affect it.

I really want to get my site launched this the first part of next week, so if you are able to do this and complete it Today or tomorrow then please bid, if not, please indicate you can do it, but can not complete it in that time frame. If you have questions, please put in PMB. Thanks!

Stock Trading App

August 3rd, 2009 Comments off

I need someone to develop an order entry module to interface with the Interactive Brokers Trader Workstation software. There is an API available from IB (http://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/p.php?f=programInterface&ib_entity=llc). The module should have a simple GUI with boxes for entering the following parameters:

FIRST TRADE:
Enter symbol (following IB symbol list)
Enter buy or sell.
Enter order type (stop limit order type)
Enter stop price
Enter quantity

CONTINGENT TRADES
Enter exit price – if this price is hit, send a market order to exit the trade.
Target 1 price: if this price is hit, send a market order to exit trade for half the original quantity.
Target 2 price: If this price is hit, send a market order to exit the remaining portion of the trade.

SUBMIT – to submit all specifed orders to the IB application.

The flow is that upon submission, an order for the First trade is sent. If the first trade is executed, orders for the contingent trades should be sent. The exit trade will protect against loss. The Target trades will lock in profits. Orders and Quantities have to be adjusted for executions.

For example, if a First trade buys 100 shares, then an order for an exit trade (sell 100 shares) should be sent (this will be a stop market order with a stop at the specified price) and both target orders should be sent (limit orders at the specified prices). If the first target price is hit, 50 shares would be sold and the Exit trade should be adjusted to only 50 shares and the stop price should be moved to the First Trade price. If the second target is hit, the remaining 50 shares will be sold and the Exit Trade should be canceled.

If after the First Trade, the exit trade is executed first, then both target trades should be canceled.

Article Rewriter

August 2nd, 2009 Comments off

Hallo and thank you for bidding,

I am looking for high quality writers to rewrite articles on a regular basis. I will provide you with all of the articles to be rewritten as well as all keyword phrases needed for each article. Each article needs to be rewritten 3 times. The 3 articles must contain the same number of paragraphs.

I will need a minimal of 3 articles submitted for my favorable reception from each nominee PER DAY for a total of 30 articles submitted per week from each rewriter.

All articles must be written by a NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKING writer. The rewriting will need to be concise and to the point. I can’t accept articles just filled with fluff words meant to fill up space.

I pay $1.00 to start per 450-600 word-article and will step-up it with proven reliability and writing skills.

I am searching 2-3 GOOD writers who are looking for long term work.

The keywords I provide you need to be used in a normal and conversational way throughout the articles please. The keyword density for each article will be 1%; keyword needs to appear in the heading, and in the first sentence too.

I will send you a free piece of software called DupeFreePRO in case you aren’t acquainted with it. This software provides you to quickly and easily check your keyword density.
I pay via Paypal within 24 hours of completion of each 10 article project, so the sooner you can finish the articles the sooner you will receive payment.

Once I hire a fresh writer I pay them $5 at completion of the first 5 article batch to show that I pay.

The articles need to be informative to the reader with 100% correct grammar and punctuation.

Also, the articles must be at least 85% unique, they will be reviewed through Copyscape and Plagiarism Detect for plagiarism. If an article you submit to me does not pass Copyscape or has spelling and punctuation mistakes, you will not be paid for that article until it is corrected and resubmitted to me for approval.

I will not be able to pay if all requirements in this listing aren’t met, so please don’t bid if you can’t meet these requirements.

You agree that on sending me the rewrites all rights to the rewritten articles carry-over to me. This means you will not sell, reproduce or re-use these articles in whatsoever way.

Please make up to communicate 1-2 times per day via email or Yahoo messenger.

Bids will only be considered with a sample article on a topic that I select.

When bidding please bid on the first project of 5 articles at $1.00 per rewrite.

Please type this in your private message to me, “freelance rewriters” so I know you read and understand the requirements.

Cheers and I look forward to hearing from you

2) choose the best 100 from the first scene according to visual appeal and scene representation (your discretion)
3) put the 100 pictures from the first scene in a folder labelled ‘selected’.
4) the bidder will then save a copy of the selected folder, then color correct, enhance and crop/resize to 1200×1600 or 1600×1200 dimensions those 100 pictures for the first scene
5) put the output in another folder labeled ‘cropped’
6) do the same for the 2nd scene

The watermark for this has been provided as a psd file and should be no larger than the example provided. It should also fit into the lower right corner of each picture per the example.

The deliverables for this project are:

Scene 1 selected folder (100 pictures .jpg format)

Scene 2 selected folder (100 pictures .jpg format)

Scene 1 cropped folder (100 pictures .jpg format and PSD layer unmerged format)

Scene 2 cropped folder (100 pictures .jpg format and PSD layer unmerged format)

Format: PSD layer unmerged file AND JPEG

I am looking for 5-10 GOOD product reviewers for this long term project.
The product name I provide you need to be used in a normal and conversational way in the first person throughout the articles please.

The product name needs to be in the article title, first sentence and used
another 6 to 10 times throughout the article for a total keyword density of 2-2.5%.

I pay via Paypal within 48 hours of completion of each 100 product descriptions, so the
sooner you can finish the product descriptions the sooner you will receive payment.

When I hire new product reviewers I pay them $10 at completion of the first 20 article batch to
show that I pay.

The product descriptions need to be informative to the reader with 100% correct grammar and
punctuation.

Also, the product descriptions must be unique, DO NOT COPY ANYTHING they will be reviewed through
Copyscape and Plagiarism Detect for plagiarism. If a product description you submit to me does

Binary Search Tree

July 23rd, 2009 Comments off

(Need by Friday 10pm if possible)

The Problem

For example, if the user adds these items:

a) “soap”, $2.95
b) “raisins”, $2.00
c) “jellybeans”, $5.00
d) “tea”, $1.95

in this order, then the structure of the binary tree would be as follows:

soap 2.95
total: 11.90
/
raisins 2.00 tea 1.95
total: 7.00 total 1.95
/
jellybeans 5.00
total: 5.00

Closest Birthday

July 23rd, 2009 Comments off

The Problem
It’s the first day of class and you are barely awake. You are hoping to snooze through a typical syllabus day when your new teacher commands you to get up and find the person in the room with the closest birthday to yours. Luckily, you’ve taken AP Computer Science already and realize that the key to solving the problem is to sort EVERYONE by their birthday, and then simply look directly to the left and right of you (the birthday that occurs immediately before and after yours) and see which of the two is closer. If you on the end of the list, you have to check with the person at the beginning and vice versa.

In order to solve this problem, you’ll get several different classes from an input file. Each class will have several queries. You are required to implement either Merge Sort of Quick Sort in the solution of your assignment.

Input File Specification (birthday.txt)
The input file has a single positive integer, n, on its first line, specifying the number of classes in the input file.

The first line of each input file will have a single positive integer k (k < 1001), representing the number of students in the class. The next k lines will have information about each student. Each line will have the following information separated by spaces: first name, last name, month, day and year of birth. All names will only contain uppercase alphabetic characters and be no longer than 29 characters long. The month will be represented in its full spelling, in uppercase letters. The day and year will be the appropriate integers. You are guaranteed that all of this information is valid. (Thus, no April 31st will appear, etc.) It is also guaranteed that each full name will be unique. (Namely, no two people in a class will have the exact same first AND last name.)

Following those k lines will be a line containing a single positive integer m (m < k), representing the number of queries for that class. The following m lines will contain the first and last name (separated by a space) of the student in question. (Your goal will be to find the name of the student with the closest birthday to the queried student.)

Output Specification
For each input class, print out a header with the following format:

Class #c:

where c represents the day of the simulation (1 ≤ c ≤ n).

Follow this with a blank line.

The following k lines will answer the queries for that class in the order they were given. For each of these queries, output a single line with the following format:

FIRST2 LAST2 has the closest birthday to FIRST LAST.

where FIRST LAST is the name of the queried student and FIRST2 LAST2 is the name of the student with the closest birthday to FIRST LAST.

To avoid ambiguity, sort the students in the following manner:

1) By birthdate, ignoring the year.
2) To break ties between students with the same exact birthdate, use last name as compared by the strcmp function.
3) To break ties where both #1 and #2 are the same, use the first name, which in these cases, is guaranteed to be different.

To further avoid ambiguity, if both the person who appears right before and right after the queried person are the same number of days away (in birthday) as the queried person, always choose the first who comes AFTER the queried person in the array. Note: for these purposes, February 29th won’t count as an actual day, unless someone in the class has that birthday. For example, if the queried person’s birthday is March 1st, the person right before her has a February 28th birthday and the person right after her as a March 3rd birthday, then the person with the February 28th birthday is considered the closest (1 day way) as compared to the March 3rd birthday (2 days away). BUT, if there IS a February 29th birthday in the class, then that does count as a day.

Put a blank line between the output for each case.

Implementation Restrictions
You must store all the relevant information about a student in an appropriate struct. You must implement either Merge Sort or Quick Sort. You must follow all the tie-breaking procedures described above.

Sample Input File
2
3
SAM MALONE MAY 3 1961
DIANE CHAMBERS AUGUST 16 1970
NORM PETERSON DECEMBER 12 1955
2
SAM MALONE
NORM PETERSON
4
DAN MARINO SEPTEMBER 15 1961
JOHN ELWAY JUNE 28 1960
JOE MONTANA JUNE 11 1956
DAN FOUTS JUNE 10 1951
1
JOE MONTANA

Sample Output
Class #1:

DIANE CHAMBERS has the closest birthday to SAM MALONE.
DIANE CHAMBERS has the closest birthday to NORM PETERSON.

Class #2:

DAN FOUTS has the closest birthday to JOE MONTANA.

Software Develop Hire Equipt

July 18th, 2009 Comments off

We are looking for someone experienced in software design / programming to produce a program for hire & sale of medical equipment. This could be a long term association, so we are looking to find the right fit with the way we see things.

The project requires attaching a secured databased shopping cart facility to an existing website (written in XSitePro). Site visitors can browse catalogs, view hire & sale items, rent or purchase products. All publicly accessible pages require to be fully SEO optimised.

The program requires to be networkable with levels of admin accessibility and controls. It needs to be fully documented and designed for continuous modification. A number of individual sites (physical locations, multiple work stations) will be accessing the data, which will be specific to that site but stored in a composite table, with appropriate individual security.

The finished program is to be delivered in stages. Each stage is to be fully tested and free of bugs and immediately interlinked with the preceding stage.

The first part will be to produce a fully documented flow chart clearly setting out the process and requirements for each phase of the actual program. Once we have agreed on this, actual programming will commence.

The first workable stage will allow us to perform the following processes: 1. Admin / Upload & edit: Leads (prospects), Clients, Staff, Suppliers, Agents, Hire items, Sales Items. 2. Data entry also from website forms. 3. Produce Booking Agreements (for hire items), Invoices, Payment advices.
4. All data saved to database tables. 5. Payment options: cash, cheque, credit card (Paypal and manual entry with provision for later addition of other merchant facilities), direct deposit into our bank account, wire transfer, etc.

Later stages will allow production of catalogs (printed and web) from stored product graphics and design templates, as well as individual product data sheets, price lists, and a number of specifc reports. We also require a built in double entry accounting package, equipment register and control.

As you can see, this is a large project, and we are looking to you to assist us in creating the final design specifications (the first stage). Your input will be important, but we do know exactly what we want to be able to do and how the finished presentation should look and feel. Our lack is using the correct terms and terminology to provide clear and concise instructions and requirements suitable to ensure a (possible) trouble free work flow.

We currently use a generic hire software package which has many excellent features but lacks the finer enhancements we need. So, we will be able to provide screen captures of specific pages from which we will evolve the finished design.

Your bid can be a total bid for the entire project, or can be split into design and implementation. In either case payment is to be from escrow on receipt and activation of each stage, with the agreed amount paid by us into escrow for each successive stage before that stage commences development.

Upon acceptance we reserve the right at the conclusion of any stage, to either cease or reallocate the further works. All copyright to the finished program must revert to us and we will require signed documentation to secure all rights pertaining to us.

In conclusion, we have already discussed with other interested parties, various collaborations and joint ownership of the finished works. We will consider offers and submissions you may wish to submit, bur require you first bid on the project as set out above.

Part 1.
Choose a product that lends itself to an inventory (for example, products at your workplace, office supplies, music CDs, DVD movies, or software).
* Create a product class that holds the item number, the name of the product, the number of units in stock, and the price of each unit. *Create a Java application that displays the product number, the name of the product, the number of units in stock, the price of each unit, and the value of the inventory (the number of units in stock multiplied by the price of each unit). Pay attention to the good programming practices in the text to ensure your source code is readable and well documented.
* Post as an attachment in java format.

Part 2.
Modify the Inventory Program so the application can handle multiple items. Use an array to store the items. The output should display the information one product at a time, including the item number, the name of the product, the number of units in stock, the price of each unit, and the value of the inventory of that product. In addition, the output should display the value of the entire inventory.
* Create a method to calculate the value of the entire inventory.
* Create another method to sort the array items by the name of the product.
* Post as an attachment in java format.

Part 3.
* Modify the output to display this additional feature you have chosen and the restocking fee.
* Post as an attachment in java format.

Part 4.
* Post as an attachment in java format.

Part 5.
Modify the Inventory Program by adding a button to the GUI that allows the user to move to the first item, the previous item, the next item, and the last item in the inventory. If the first item is displayed and the user clicks on the Previous button, the last item should display. If the last item is displayed and the user clicks on the Next button, the first item should display.
* Add a company logo to the GUI using Java graphics classes.
* Post as an attachment in java format.

Part 6.
Modify the Inventory Program to include an Add button, a Delete button, and a Modify button on the GUI. These buttons should allow the user to perform the corresponding actions on the item name, the number of units in stock, and the price of each unit. An item added to the inventory should have an item number one more than the previous last item.
* Add a Save button to the GUI that saves the inventory to a C:datainventory.dat file.
* Use exception handling to create the directory and file if necessary.
* Add a search button to the GUI that allows the user to search for an item in the inventory by the product name. If the product is not found, the GUI should display an appropriate message. If the product is found, the GUI should display that product

Php Sqlite Hashgallery

July 13th, 2009 Comments off

First, I just want to say this is the 6th time I have posted this project. For the love of god and all good things on earth, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE if you don’t understand what I want, then don’t bother bidding. I give ridiculous amounts of description, I give code examples, I give database outlines, I give you databases!! I have no idea how it’s possible that bidders of a project, given all that, can still not bother coding to my specifications. If you are illiterate and cannot read specifications or cannot follow them, then please don’t bother bidding on this project because I am a programmer, I will look over the code, I will see if you lying to me.

The last time I posted this, someone asked me to select them, and I did, and then they didn’t reply for 3 days. I just don’t get it.

If however, you are a programmer who cares about quality and following client specifications, I reward such things. I will be more than happy to pay a bonus for fast service and beautiful code.

It seems very strange to me that people will bid on projects that they do not intend to fulfill. My time is valuable as is yours, so please don’t waste both our times if you don’t intend to complete the project on time and to my specifications.

Hashgallery

I started on it, but do not have time to finish it, and so I have code snippets as well as detailed description of the project.

Basically, a barebones gallery based on the unique concept that the files will be renamed to their SHA1 values and thus, the file will carry with it, the innate knowledge of its own link name.

The folders are virtual folders, living in a sqlite database, with reference pointers to the files themselves.

So a file named “DSC_0001.jpg” might have a SHA1 hash value of 091E01046BCCA9829BCB9DCBC47F583880FF8AE6 and thus renamed to “091E01046BCCA9829BCB9DCBC47F583880FF8AE6.jpg”. This then becomes the permalink to the file. In this way, no matter what happens, to the name of the file, you can always regenerate this hash by hashing the file itself, thus even with a completely meltdown of the server or db, the permalinks will never die.

Because hash values are 0~9, A~F, 16 directories are created:

/0
/1
/2

/E
/F

Each file will live in the directory of the first letter of the hash.

So as per the previous example, the file with the name “091E01046BCCA9829BCB9DCBC47F583880FF8AE6.jpg” will live in the /0 directory.

So now the permalink for this image is:

http://www.example.com/hashgallery/091E01046BCCA9829BCB9DCBC47F583880FF8AE6.jpg

HOWEVER, using mod_rewrite on Apache, it will be turned into:

http://www.example.com/hashgallery/0/091E01046BCCA9829BCB9DCBC47F583880FF8AE6.jpg

(Note the extra /0 directory)

The reason for doing this is that down the road, it is possible to slice up the HD into 16 parts, or any other types of divisions.

This gallery will be primarily designed for use in conjunction with blogs, so a permalink is important.

References to the files themselves then, will not go through a db, only file maintenance will, this make it so that the db is not a bottleneck.

Unlike gallery2, which died on me when the albums got really big, this gallery will be able to support hundreds of thousands of images. Using a php program called ultratree, a file directory tree is created in php with only 1 db query.

The gallery will allow for bulk .zip file upload, or individual file upload. Folder creation and subfolder creation, folder movement etc.. It will also allow for sorting of images via DHTML like

http://www.dhtmlgoodies.com/index.html?whichScript=floating_gallery

I would like the db interface though to be abstracted to support other db’s in the future.

php code snippets available and included.

More detailed description included in the description file.

I would like the first db used to be sqlite3.
http://www.sqlite.org

As I am a programmer, any and all questions I am able to answer. I am even able to answer code optimizations.

I originally had a skeleton sample running on one of the servers, but the server has been decommissioned but I have taken a screen recording to give a rough idea. I’ve also attached the database that I used, and the sample source code that I used.

Please take a look at the entire attached package. I’ve got a screen mockup, an avi, a detailed description, a visio diagram, a sample db, and sample source code.

There should be a configuration page of minimal items which are configurable such as thumbnail size (using the GD library of php).

The app also allows for ftp’ing to a specified directory and then batch processing.

If you have read this far, and think you will bid on this project, search on freshmeat.net or someone online, send me a copy of some other gallery and pray I won’t find out (like the first guy who bid on this project) then you are sadly mistaken.

Thank you for taking your time and interest in the project.

I can give you a link to where the previous programmer ended.

Java Mortgage Calc

July 10th, 2009 Comments off

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Due on Day Five, Saturday: SR-mf-003 CR #3, Java mortgage calculator
Write the program in Java (without a graphical user interface) and have it calculate the payment amount for 3 mortgage loans.
7 years at 5.35%
15 years at 5.5%
30 years at 5.75%
Use an array for the different loans. Display the mortgage payment amount for each loan and then list the loan balance and interest paid for each payment over the term of the loan. Use loops to prevent lists from scrolling off the screen.

Name your program file XXXWeek4.java, XXX is your last name. It is important to use your last name so that each student’s program file is unique. When your team evaluates the members’ program, the team will know whom the program belong to. Not naming the file will cause point deduction. Submit your .java file into your individual forum under the ASSIGNMENT THREAD.

Note:
1. The program should require two user input values.
2. The first input value is the loan amount.
3. The second input value is an indicator for displaying the balance and interest paid list.
4. Error checking should be done on the input loan amount to make sure that it is a positive number and is not zero.
5. If the input loan amount is wrong, show an error message and exit the program.
6. If the input loan amount is correct, proceed to compute.
7. If the indicator is not to show the list, then only show the mortgage payments. Below is an example:
Loan amount $200000
Loan Term Interest Rate Mortgage Payment
7 years 5.35% $2859.79
15 years 5.5% $1634.17
30 years 5.75% $1167.15

8. If the indicator is to show the list, the program should show the mortgage payments first as in step 7. Following the mortgage payments, the list should be shown in 7 columns. The column are:
Column 1 – payment number
Column 2

Url Harvesting Script

July 8th, 2009 Comments off

I need a script or desktop application (for windows vista) to harvest website addresses (URLs) for me. My preference is a script that runs in PHP and MYSQL on a Linux server.

I want to enter a list of keyword phrases like “cheap hosting” and “custom furniture”. Typically there will be a few hundred of these at a time and I want to be able to add and delete phrases.

When I run the script (let’s call that a scan), it must do the following – get website addresses from the following sources for me (using “cheap hosting” as an example) -

1) http://www.google.com/sponsoredlinks?q=cheap+hosting&btnG=Search+Sponsored+Links – all the results (not just the first page of results)

2) The first 100 results from http://www.google.com/search?q=allinurl%3Acheap+hosting – filtered to show only the URLs that actually have one or more of the keywords in the domain name itself, but not as part of a subdomain. (So cheapcar.com and fasthosting.com is ok, but not computers.com/cheaphosting.htm, and not cheap.hosting.com)

3) The first 100 results from Google for http://www.google.com/search?q=cheap+hosting

These results must go into a database in the form of website.com (NOT website.com/djdjd/ururu.htm) seperated into the 3 categories above and the date that the script was run.

There will be function where I can enter from time to time (for a specific keyword phrase) multiple (anything from 10 – 1000 at a time) URLS in the form of website.com. If these URLs match existing URLs for that specific keyword phrase, it must be marked as “used”. I also need to be able to mark/reset URLs to unused/default.

Then I need a function to make a report of all the unique results gathered for a specific keyword between date x and Date Y (I will enter these values) that is not marked as used. The report must be in CSV format with these fields -

keyword phrase
url
source

That is the basic functionality of the script. Other features will include –
1)There will be a general filter applicable to all keyword phrases where I want to enter URLs that I do not want collected.
2) I want to run the scans in bulk, by selecting which keyword phrases to scan, at the end of the scan the script must give a report of the number of NEW results per keyword phrase that were collected during that scan that have not been collected before.
3)The script must have a setting to specify a random delay in seconds between searches to avoid being blocked by Google.

Program Using Queues In C

The Problem
A university lacks a credible grocery store on campus. After a year of getting lousy over-priced food in the convenience store in the Student Union, you and all of your friends are frustrated. One of your friends majoring in business comes up with the brilliant idea of opening a grocery store on campus. But, they need your help to decide if their idea is viable or not. Your job will be to run various simulations of customers in line.

The model for the store is as follows:

Normally, there will be three lines in operation or customers to buy their groceries. Each line will have a capacity of 8 customers. The first line (line A) will only be for customers with 10 or fewer items. The other two lines (line B and C) will be for all customers. When a customer is ready to check out, here is how they decide what line to go to:

If the customer has 10 or fewer items and the

Reporting System

July 7th, 2009 Comments off

I have had a developer here from Scriptlance build a first version of a reporting system for me.

The first version of the system works fine.

Unfortunately due to personal reasons he cannot continue work on the system and I need to make a new version of it.

The system has been developed on Linux with PHP.

Its a web based reporting system that generates screenshots from sites and does automatic uploading via FTP etc, generate CSV-files etc.

All source code for the first system is available. The second system (which you will build) is based on the first one and should not be too hard to achieve if you are good at PHP, Linux etc.

To complete this project you will likely need to know about (among other things):

Linux
PHP
MySQL
Building a web based admin/config interface for the script, forms etc
Firefox (it runs in a VNC server)
Setting up Cron jobs on a server (the script will run automatically and do stuff every day)
Make the system upload files via FTP

I can provide more details to bidders. The programmer who built the first version of the system is also available for technical questions.

Please make sure you can work on this effectively and fast as I need it completed as soon as possible.

Work can start right now.

Need Long Term Seo Consultant

July 3rd, 2009 Comments off

I am looking for a long term SEO programmer. You should know how to rewrite .htaccess file
Off page and on page optimization. I am a SEO programmer myself, but I don’t have time to handle so many assignments all at once. I need to concentrate on my business and I know all rules, blackhat, whithat, grayhat in the business.
The previous person that I hired on here supposed to get me back links. However he did something worth because of being an amateur. He spammed in a forum, with bad spelling and put my link on that forum and its sub forums without consulting with us! The forum’s members wrote trash about my website in order to give that person a good lesson of not spamming! This has caused me a problem now! That forum has appeared on the first page of google when you write my website’s name with those negative irrelevant comments in it! You should find a way to make this go away.
Solution:
You should be able to get back links as fast as possible so those new links from high PR websites will replace on the first page of google so that the negative link will disappear from the first page.
My website appears on the first page with 5 keywords right now ( I let you know), I give you more keywords, so that my website appears on google’s , yahoo’s first page with those keywords. The keywords I will give are competitive keywords.
DO you think that you have enough experience to work with us? This will be your mission and if you are able to do this problem go away. You get your reward plus a permanent job.
It does not matter where you live, our programmers are not located at one place either. You should

Community Events Page

June 23rd, 2009 Comments off

Hey guys, we are looking for help with a small but ongoing project. We had previously posted this project, but due to a few roadblocks and life things have been delayed. Nonetheless, we are looking for all input and will very much need to speak on the phone/skype with the winning bidders. We need specific details as to how progress will be shown to us.

We have chosen to have our site built with Joomla, as we enjoy the interface and relative ease of use. We would prefer our site handed over with Joomla and the template we have chosen, but are open to more efficient, easier options. Our template is RocketTheme’s Mixxmag (Jan ’09).

The first phase of the project involves setting up a simple two page website. The first page will be a detailed events page, and the second page a contact page. We will need an instalment of Joomla on our new server, Google apps set up with our domain, the ability to build an email subscription list, and a stable organized RSS feed. We have sketches of the visual outline to the events pages and contact us page. These can be forwarded upon request, and the functionality we require for both pages can be read below.
There are several more pages and items of functionality that will be set up after this is complete. We will need very quick help with our logo and favicon as well.

Functionality required with the Contact Us Page (ask for attached visual interpretation):

1. A contact form placed underneath a block of text.
a. Submitted forms are forwarded to an admin email address setup with Google Apps.
b. Contact form must fit to the visual appearance of the site
c. We are familiar with the component ChronoForms, but are open to suggestion and custom form organizers.

Functionality required with the Events Page:

1. In Phase One, the Events Page will act as the homepage.

2. Users will land on a page that lists events chronologically over the next week (also view attached visual interpretation).
a. Users must be able to switch between the previous and next week, and select a month to jump to.

3. Users will have the ability to choose between viewing a

Need Redirects Created

Hello,

I started a blog about 4 months ago using my name as the domain

Since then I have decided to rename the blog to a targeted domain name. I currently have this domain name as a re-direct to the first domain.

However, I would like to make the new domain name the first domain and have the first domain name pointed to my “about” page.

Also, I have about 40 posts that I would like to be redirected as well.

Hope I made sense and look forward to working with someone.

Thanks!

Viruemart Customization

Sheet music and CD store implementation in VirtueMart

General description:
Customize Virtuemart to sell sheet music and CD’s.

The process will be done in several steps, and the first step is described here. If you do a good job on the first step you will get the next ones.

The first step is to add support for names and roles connected to products.

When you sell sheet music and CD’s the customers need to be able to search for people connected to the products. Artists, composers, arrangers etc. A typical store that utilizes this is Amazone.com.

Database modifications:
We need two new tables: vm_roles and vm_prod_roles.

The People table
Since VirtueMart already have a people-table with relevant fields I’d like to use that unless the programmer can come up with a good argument to use a separate table. Relevant VirtueMart table is vm_user_info.
Only one field must be added: roles YES or NO. Only people with YES here shows up in the product-people list.

The Role Table
Contains info about the possible roles that a person can have in a product.
Table name: vm_roles
Field name Type Comment
role_id Int(11) Auto_increment Unique nr
role_type Text 255 composer, arranger, artist etc
role_short Text 10 Abbr to be used in lists (Ex Comp for composer, Arr for arranger etc)
role_sort_order int Sort order in lists
Role_placement Text Where should the text appear in layout and whether to display Last name, First Name, or Company fields

The People/Product/Role Table
One person can have multiple roles in a product (For example he can be both composer AND artist on the same CD). We need a table to define his role(s) in the specific product.
Table name: vm_prod_roles
Field name Type Comment
prod_role_id Int(11) Auto_increment Unique nr
product_id Int(11) Linked to product
user_id Int(11) Linked to user
role_id Int(11) Linked to role

Modifications to layout
Shop side
1. Include results from the people database in the free text search. Search the first and last name.
2. Include product categories in search.
3. Create two new Browse pages with and without product thumbnails. See attached file for details.
4. Ajax drilldown search system on top of the product listing. See attached file for details.
5. Allow the roles to be visible on all lists in the store through out the check out system, invoices etc. This is to identify products with similar names but different arrangers etc.

6. Add the roles to the

Vbulletin + Google Maps Mod

June 11th, 2009 Comments off

I need somebody experienced with vBulletin and Google Maps API to write a custom mod compatible with vBulletin 3.8.x that will:

1) add custom fields to the new/edit thread posting form.
2) take input (a Google Maps url) from one of these custom fields and grab (grep? regex?) certain elements (coordinates) to be made available as variables which are saved to the vBulletin database and displayed in the first post of a new thread
3) use the same variables to get geocode information from Google and save fields from the Google Maps API JSON results (or XML results if you prefer) to the database and made available to be displayed in the first post. I think a separate db table for the data from item #1 and the returned JSON fields are ideal but am open to alternate suggestions.

Requirements
- Some fields will be required and some will not. Failing to submit appropriate data in a required field returns error indicating the problem.
- input of Google Maps url in one custom field is verified to be a Google url (including various international domains)
- All data submitted through custom fields are run through vBulletin’s form/input cleaning as well as protections from SQl injections, CSRF, other common attacks and clean out any submitted HTML
- Edit of thread posts containing url and other information from the custom fields will automatically display what is currently saved to the database and allow for edit/replacement according to vbulletin permissions regarding editing privileges. Change to Google Maps url in custom field will initiate reprocessing of grep/regex and related variables/data replaced in database (it would be a nice extra to have it prompt before replacing this data)
-Not all forums/new threads will use the custom fields. Make sure there are no errors if no data is submitted in the custom fields (these fields will likely not be shown in certain areas of the site).
-I have no problem with using an existing vBulletin hack such as http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=128587 as long as it is fixed to work with v3.8. I am also open to other vB hacks you may know that may make coding easier.

At the end of the project I expect the mod and all the changes with documentation (full install instructions) to be zipped and sent to me.

- – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – - – -
Sample of how this might work
User goes to do=newthread where custom field submission of this Google Map URL is entered:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q&ie=UTF8&layer=c&cbll=30.272735,-97.741076&panoid=CGDtk5FW3PDHGPuW_Vnh9g&cbp=12,13.06,,0,-2.17&ll=30.272587,-97.741123&spn=0.005597,0.00751&z=17&iwloc=A

The code verifies a clean Google Maps url was submitted and will grab this information from the submitted url:
&cbp=12,13.06,,0,-2.17
&ll=30.272587,-97.741123

This information will then, for example, be able to be inserted into the following HTML and displayed on the first post of the new thread
<iframe width=”425″ height=”240″ frameborder=”0″ scrolling=”no” marginheight=”0″ marginwidth=”0″ src=”http://maps.google.com/maps/sv?cbp=***cbp goes here***&amp;cbll=***ll goes here***&amp;panoid=&amp;v=1&amp;hl=en&amp;gl=us”></iframe>

The &ll coordinates will also be submitted through the Google Map API for reverse geocoding (http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/geocoding/#ReverseGeocoding) to receive and store the following JSON results in the database: id, address. CountryNameCode. CountryName. AdministrativeAreaName. LocalityName. ThoroughfareName. PostalCodeNumber and Accuracy.

If somebody goes to edit the post the custom fields and default thread fields will be visible and contain the information from the database. Changes to the post will result in the Google Map API information to be updated and saved back to the database.
