Clickable Background Ad

November 19th, 2011 Comments off

I am looking for a script/code to be able to make the background outside of the framework of a site click-able.

When you click on the background, it would be like clicking on a regular link (_blank).

The necessity for the background to be a css background is so if someone with a lower res monitor views the site, there would not be a horizontal scroll bar.

Sample of what I want is found here:

I am just looking for that effect; simply, a clickabl…

Photoshop Background + Lesson

Attached is an image showing a number of simple ads with an interesting background with elliptical lines that I want to duplicate in ad sizes:

728 x 90
468 x 60
300 x 25

I would like to be able to change ad colors and maintain the background effect.

Needed: Photoshop PSD’s with the background and step by step instructions on how to change colors of the background and the lines. (I know there’s a faint emblem on the background, that is not needed.)

The clarity of the instructions if very important.

Please reply with HAGAJI so that I know you have read and understand this project description.

My site will be in the front and the flash site in the back.

The flash design needs to be in the background of the current site.

Pic Background Replacement X4

I am looking for a provider to work immediately.

I have 4 pictures that I want the background cut out from. I would then like to put these cutouts on a new coloured background.

Each picture has a slogan that needs to be put on the background next to or above the cut out image with appropriate font.

With regards to the background colour it needs to be something that will look nice with my current website colour schemes. Perhaps a gradient green.

These banners need to look fresh, professional and stand out as it will be turned into a slide show to go on the front page of my website at sizexchange.co.nz.

I am including the pictures with this project

pic 1: Sizexchange takes the purse pain out of clothes shopping, now i can get what i want when i need!
pic 2: My biggest dilemma whilst dieting, was finding clothes that fit, now i am a happy swapper
pic 3: (this ‘cut out’ has already been done) Swapping can be fun for everyone, even us guys who hate shopping!

Arcade Website Template Phpas

August 23rd, 2009 Comments off

This project is for a custom template, designed and coded for a an arcade website, running the PHPAS v4 (PHP Arcade Script v 4) script.

This isn’t as complicated as it may seem when you first read the description, because PHPAS v4 is very powerful, and it makes customization very easy, as long as you’re familiar with PHP.

Low bids with verifiable experience will be given preference.

By bidding, you agree that I own all rights to the script, template, and artwork, and that I may use, modify, or sell it, as I see fit.

I will pay immediately via PayPal upon completion of the project, after I have tested it as admin, and user. No deposits, no escrow, no exceptions.

I will give a feedback rating of 10, if this is done to specifications and on time.

This template MUST function properly with the PHPAS v4 script, and it MUST be able to be plugged into PHPAS v4, as a template, just like the normal templates, that come with the script.

If you’re interested in the project, but are unfamiliar with the PHPAS v4 Script and it’s templates, glancing over this page may help you to quickly understand how it functions:

http://www.8hourarcade.com/hour-6/the-template-files/

There is a free template for the PHAS V4 script, available for download at the link below:

http://www.8hourarcade.com/hour-6/php-arcade-script-templates/

Here is an example of that template in use:

http://www.yourarcade.org/

The template for this project, must feature custom graphics and a custom banner at the top of the page.
All artwork used MUST be original.

The name of the site must be very visible and legible, on the banner. The web address (displayed in this format “sitename.com”), must be on the banner, or somewhere at the top of the site.

I have an idea of what I want for the layout.

Most arcade sites are very generic looking, which is what I want to avoid.

I want something colorful, and for this, I really like the modern vector retro grunge type of stuff that’s hot right now, as long as it’s bright, and not too “dark” themed. For this, I really like that style mixed with vibrant glow effects.

I want it to be visually appealing, and to look more “exciting” than the other typical arcade sites.

Here are some example graphics, each containing some elements that I like, please look at them:

http://www.neurosoftware.ro/programming-blog/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/cache/df8ea_516681193689193.jpg

http://behance.vo.llnwd.net/profiles/54171/projects/89854/541711209965882.jpg

Those effects can be obtained pretty easily, by anyone with a little skill, using Photoshop brushes like the ones found here:

http://qbrushes.com/photoshop-abstract-brushes/ecol-brushes/
http://qbrushes.com/photoshop-abstract-brushes/explosion-brush/
http://qbrushes.com/photoshop-abstract-brushes/cs4-brushes/

but if you’re right for the job, you should already know that, or have someone on your team that already knows how, and who has experience doing this style of artwork.

It’s VERY IMPORTANT that the artwork looks good. It needs to be intriguing, eye catching, positive, and exciting.

Now, on to the structure of the layout.

The template must feature a navigation bar, just below the header graphic, with links to all 16 game categories (genres).

Most sites that I see with the PHPAS v4 templates, look really cluttered, and that’s bad. I mean the way the game titles and descriptions are displayed, it’s just really inefficient and unattractive, especially in the sections displaying the games of category.

Here is a demo site, running the default template, for the PHPAS v4 script:

http://www.phparcadesite.com/

I think it’s actually rather boring and ugly, but please look at it if you’re unfamiliar with the PHPAS v4 script, or arcade sites in general, as knowing the general layout, will help you to picture the layout that I want, from what I am going to describe below.

I want a 3 column layout, with the main game categories in the center. I want 16 categories, which are:

The 12 basic PHPAS v4 categories (Action, Adventure, Board, Casino, Customize, Dress Up, Driving, Fighting, Puzzle, Shooting, Sports) + 4 these categories – “Girly Games”, “Kissing Games”, “Sonic Games”, and “Mario Games”.

I want a background image which fills the background of the entire site, which looks good with a style like I described above for the artwork, as the background should fit in with the artwork and the theme of the site. It’s also necessary that this background image looks good displayed on both standard monitors, and widescreen monitors (meaning that the background fills the entire screen, even for those viewing the site on large widescreen monitors).

It’s important that this image loads in the background as one full image, rather than being sliced, so that if I want to later change the background, and replace it with a different image, I could do so easily.

I’d like each section in the layout, to be in containers, partially transparent, with a black glass frost look, so that the background is partially visible through the containers, like in this picture:

http://tutorials.tm-creative.org/manialink/pictures/ingame-browser.jpg

The look of the Containers for the Categories sections for each Game Genre, in addition to the basic transparent black containers, should also have a clear glass trim on the outside edges, possibly with a glow effect, surrounding the container, for each category (by” category” I mean the sections displaying “Adventure Games”, “Action Games”, etc, are all separate “categories”). This really isn’t as complicated as it sounds, for an example of the glass and glow trim, see the this image:

http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/5996/screenshotouy.jpg

For each game genre category box/section/container I want 2 categories per row, in this center column, and each category should display 2 games at the top, side by side, with a picture displayed for each of these games, and also displaying the title for each, above the corresponding picture. Under each game should be a very short description. (The PHPAS v4 script makes it easy to control how the games are displayed, including specifications for picture, title, description, etc).

Then there should be 5 more games displayed in each category, displayed like a list or table, with 1 game / title per row, and these should be displayed beneath the two games at the top. For these 5 games, only Titles should be displayed, no pictures or descriptions. And then a “view more” button, for the genre, in each category. The games should of course load properly from the appropriate categories in the backend of the PHPAS v4 script.

The Title bar for each genre/category needs to look attractive, and the text/font needs to be legible.

Above The 3 columns in the layout, I want a row, just beneath the navigation bar, that runs a horizontal ad (which will be featuring 100 x 100 pixel game images, with the title displayed below each image) from entraffic.com. I just want to be able to insert the code for the banner/ad generated by entraffic.com in that row.

I also want some kind of “featured” box near the top, and I definitely want it to display an image and at least a “title” for each game, and maybe a description, depending on the style of the featured box, and what you feel is the most appropriate, for the overall look of this section.

I really dislike displays that show only an image, without displaying the game title. The featured box, should display games that I specify from the backend of the PHPAS v4 arcade script.

I want the user registration box, to be at the top of the left column, with a “top players” box under that.

I also want sections for “top rated games”, “most popular games”, and “random games”, each in their own section, in the right column of the site. The games in these sections should of course load properly from the appropriate categories in the backend of the PHPAS v4 script. The categories in the right column should each feature from 10 to 20 games, and only the title should be displayed for each game.

I want space to insert ads, in the side columns, and at least 1 space in each side column, big enough to fit the long vertical Google Adsense ads. It would be cool if I also had a few spots to insert those 100 x 100 pixel ads, that look like game thumbnail preview, for traffic trading.

There should also be a search box, somewhere on the site, that lets the user run a search, for all of the games on in the database on my site (PHPAS v4 makes it easy to do this).

Please only bid if you agree to the terms as stated and can complete this within 7 days.

If you have any questions, please ask.

Site Header And Ebook Graphic

August 14th, 2009 Comments off

Use my design ideas to create an ebook cover image and a web site header from the attached image.

I want to give my old web site http://www.landfill-gas.com a complete makeover and start making sales of the first ebook for the site I have almost completed, called “Introduction to Landfill Gas Collection and Energy From Waste”.

I would like colourful and professional looking design for maximum sales of the ebook.

I took the attached image recently. Please use it and change it to create a really professional looking graphic showing the manhole cover (which is a gas pipe manifold) they have open and the flare at the back. (The Flare should have a proper galvanised steel palisade fence around it, that is a fence with vertical metal slats.)

I would like something which looks almost photo-realistic but actually hand-drawn. It will show 3 people in a similar group BUT the sun will be shining and the sky blue. The three people (it would be nice if one was a lady) will be mirror imaged to look towards the gas flare compound in the back ground, and they will not be looking away from the flare, as they are now.

The gas flare in the background is a very important part of the image. It is what the web site is all about and it needs to be well visible.

Also, the background should be green and show lush green grass and not dirt! It would like to see some green trees and fields in the background as in spring/early summer.

I require two versions of the graphic:

1. As a web site header for http://www.landfill-gas.com . The existing site will be modified and the header will be a standard width – is that 760 pixels? The header height can be deeper than standard headers if that is necessary to make the graphic work.

2. As the front cover of the ebook (ie width to height ratio to fit on an A4 sheet of paper).

Provide 1 jpg and one psd version of each graphic.

The coder shall agree to sign a copyright release form. I will take full copyright.

Flash Website Background Issue

July 22nd, 2009 Comments off

Hi guys!! I have a flash page where there is background music. The background music is controlled by a button (on/off). It works great but when I want to hear a video clip in one of the web pages, I turn off the background music but it also turns off the video clip audio. So for now I removed the video clip(s). But when I’m ready to add them back, I need to know what to do to cause the background music to stop when I trigger a new clip (audio or video) to play.

Any suggestions Please help.

The code for the background music is:

onClipEvent(load)
{
_root.soundstatus=”on”;
_root.mySound = new Sound(_level0);
_root.mySound2 = new Sound(_level1);
_root.mySound3 = new Sound(_level2);
_root.mySound4 = new Sound(_level3);
_root.mySound5 = new Sound(_level4);
maxvolume=100;
minvolume=0;
}

onClipEvent(enterFrame)
{
if(_root.soundstatus==”on”) {step=5}
if(_root.soundstatus==”off”) {step=-5}

maxvolume+=step;

if (maxvolume>100) {maxvolume=100;}
if (maxvolume<0) {maxvolume=0;}

_root.mySound.setVolume(maxvolume);
_root.mySound2.setVolume(maxvolume);
_root.mySound3.setVolume(maxvolume);
_root.mySound4.setVolume(maxvolume);
_root.mySound5.setVolume(maxvolume);
}

Pro Rgb/cmyk Colour Conversion

July 14th, 2009 Comments off

To all professional Photoshop / Colour Conversion / Printing Specialists

I have just finished creating a DVD Cover Design and Label for a new DVD that one of my clients is about to release into the market.

I created the master file for the background graphics in photoshop ( .psd ) and then imported these backgrounds into Freehand where I have overlaid my vector graphics.

The problem I am having is with the background graphics in photoshop in relation to the RGB to CMYK conversion.

I originally created the .psd in RGB and it looks fantastic and my client is really happy :) However when I try and convert it to CMYK it looks absolutely terrible.

I tried just giving my printer the background graphics in RGB, however when I received the proofs, again everything looked a lot different to the depth and richness of the RGB version and essentially looked really bad.

This proof-print lost a lot of the deep rich blue colours and instead looked gray/purple :( and the photo on the cover has gone really bright and is white clipping.

Everyday I see printed DVD covers that look fantastic. I want this DVD Cover for my client to look FANTASTIC !

I am looking for a professional Photoshop / Colour Conversion / Printing Specialist to convert the background .psd graphics ( Cover/Inlay/Label ) to a version of CMYK that will looks absolutely fanstastic and retains the vibrant punch of the RGB version.

THIS IS PURELY AN RGB TO CMYK COLOUR CONVERSION JOB. THE POSITIONING AND LAYOUT OF ALL GRAPHICS MUST REMAIN THE SAME SO THAT WHEN THEY ARE IMPORTED INTO FREEHAND ALL THE VECTOR GRAPHICS WILL ALIGN PERFECTLY.

To download a .zip file containing all the working files for this job, please click on the link below.

www.missiondesign.co.nz/download/Stroke_Education.zip

Also included in this .zip file is a .pdf

If you are not a professional Photoshop / Colour Conversion / Printing Specialist, please do NOT respond. I do not want to receive standard response from people who have not read this brief.

For the right person this job should be able to be completed quickly and professionally with outstanding results.

I look forward very much to hearing from potential Photoshop / Colour Conversion / Printing Specialists soon, as this project needs to be completed without delay.

Create Images Using Php

June 16th, 2009 Comments off

I want to create a dynamic banner.

The first layer will be the background that is a real, premade, static image that has our company’s name on it.

The second layer is an image that we will grab from our server. The image location/name will be determined by the query string. If the query string is ?image=imagenumber123, then the image that will be pulled and displayed is imagenumber123.png.

The the next layer is dynamic text that will be written on the background/first layer. This text will be determined by the query string. So, if the query string is ?text=some random text, then “some random text” has to be written on the background.

All of this has to be saved as an image. I have done most of it already. I learned how to do it within minutes, but since I’m new to it, cannot get all three layers merged. Hopefully, someone with more experience and who knows how easy it is, will do this and not charge too much. Thanks, and I will select someone in a few hours. If you have a demo, please provide one. I provide 100% escrow.

Ajax Image Manipulator

May 8th, 2009 Comments off

I need a single page solution to integrate with an existing website.

Project involves 3 elements on the screen:
1) Background image: User controls interactively by either uploading or picking a solid Color from an interactive Pallet or or selected from a list of predefined images.

2) Smaller Foreground image: Predefined.

3) Fixed Text: Fixed, predefined text.

The user can resize the background image.

The user can move, resize, or hide the foreground image around on the background image.

The user can Move and resize the Text box on the background image. (although the text it’s self is fixed, the wrapping and size of the text box will change), change the font size (within a certain reasonable range), and choose between two fonts.

To rephrase. The user can move/resize two smaller elements (foreground image and text) on the background image (that they can change by uploading a new picture, choosing a solid color, or choosing an image from my library).

Once the user has finalized their layout, they can “save” it, at which point you need to pass the background image name or color, the background size, the foreground image position (in relation to background image) and size (or 0,0 if the user hid it), and the text position, font size, and which of the two fonts they selected to a php script of mine.

Again: You do not need to merge images, or do any image creation. just pass the position data to another php script.

95% of this project is the javascript/layout. The only PHP I see is the image upload.

Although this will be integrated into my current site, I need the project it’s self to have a clean web 2.0 design and feel.

If you have any questions please PMB.
