I want the users to have a great control panel to modify there profiles, Some of the features should include:
1- edit password, email, choose location, choose sex, enter birthday, add & edit profile picture, edit look & feel of the profile…etc.
2- Private messages system for users.

When a user registers he should have access to all site categories with the same user-name & password ( 1 account for all sections ).

Amazon Api + Vm Shopbuilder

We are a company that sells electric scooters online. We have a rather vast custom built affiliate marketplace that I am migrating to a Joomla + Virtuemart + VM Shopbuilder solution.

The objective of this job is to extend the functionality of a Joomla component called VM Shopbuilder. VM Shopbuilder allows you to easily import affiliate datafeeds directly into Virtuemart and also search the Commission Junction database through their API.

We are looking for extended functionality similar to the existing Comission Junction interface, basically duplicating the Commission Junction API feature, but interfaces with Amazon’s API.

Here is a breakdown of what we are looking for:

Amazon API Interface:

1. The ability to build a search query based on one or more of the following variables: keywords, distributor, category, brand, high price, low price, and sku

2. Search results must have the ability to be sorted by: name, price, distributor, brand, and sku

3. Ability to create a new Virtuemart category on the fly to assign the results to as well as the ability to assign the query results to an existing Virtuemart category. (identical to existing CJ interface)

4. Query results are then stored in the VM Shopbuilder “Import Manager” before giving the user the option to add all or just the selected items to the Virtuemart catalog.

5. Items can be removed from Virtuemart and will be sent back to the VM Shopbuilder Import Manager.

Automation Features (create a VM Shopbuilder section that allows us to set these parameters and view/edit our search filters):

5. All CJ and Amazon search queries must be able to be saved and cataloged for later use.

6. Ability to construct and save search query filters that will allow us to flag and remove certain items from the search results. That way the next time we run the query we don’t have to sort through 10,000 product entries.

7. Ability to run all saved search queries via a cron task.

8. Ability to identify new products in a search result, flag them, and notify web administrator via email. Must be able to filter new products out of the query results from VM Shopbuilder backend.

9. Extend these automation features to the existing Commission Junction interface already in place.

10. Extended product description functionality that will allow us to append a custom description to any item, assign that description to the item and store it in the database. This will be applied to ALL items that are imported with the VM Shopbuilder component, allowing us to maintain our custom description information after any automated product updates or modifications.

I need a secure dynamic ecommerce website for selling shoes and shoe accessories. I have a good idea what I would like it to look like but I will need someone who can also help me with the design ideas and suggestions. I am not interested in people without reviews or who can’t show me examples of their previous work. There most important thing is that I need this built in less than 1 month. Payment will be in escrow until the site is finished and I will not pay if the site takes longer than a month. While this sounds extreme, time is the most important aspect of this project.
I will need some logos and graphics designed for the site. I will need someone who I can contact regularly and monitor the progress of the site development. I also want someone who is a good communicator and understands my vision for the site, I mean that in the sense that I don’t want to have to keep identifying errors and worrying about the site being done wrong.

Here is a list of features I will require:

Database Search Engine: I require the ability to search clubs by world part, country, State and City.

Mapping Capability: I also require the user to be able to select a location on a map (google maps api) or enter a city and see the listings in the database as hits on the map, once these hits have been moused over it will display the name of the club. We are looking for a highly experienced coder to complete the following project.

We need the site to be a hybrid, similar but different to certain aspects of micro blogging, journal sharing, shout outs, news, forum, writing and community type sites.

Description:

We want someone who can build us a php script with full mysql database with its own installer for use with the installation process and we want it based on similar features that Twitter, Facebook, LiveJournal and Digg type sites offer.

The similarities/differences and/or additions and needs of our site are as follows:

1 – We want a clean and simple tabbed type interface that is easy for users to navigate.

2 – When users click on the log-in tab we want it to go to a nice secure static log-in page with an optional check mark box to allow users to stay signed in permanently if they so desire.

3 – We also want the ability for a log-out function to show up after a successful log-in.

4 – We want the site to be clean and secure.

5 – We want our users to be able to make short 200 character limited type posts with a simple small basic text editor like the one implemented on “Twitter” but also have the ability to post longer entries in separate sections at around 2000 characters for an online
diary and 5000 characters for a writers section.

6 – We need within the header, links to ABOUT US, FAQ, News, LOG-IN, and FORUMS all with their own static pages.

7 – We need the footer to include “copyright, terms and conditions, privacy policy and contact us” all which need to have links to their own nicely designed static pages.

8 – We want google translations integrated on the main page using a drop down type menu.

9 – We want a different section for writers to post their articles and short stories.

10 – On the main page the tabs should be from left to right as follows Recent, Popular, Life Log, Writers, and Corporate.

11 – We need the main site to have a small sidebar that includes the current time and date, a navigation button to the members area and a custom box for sponsors that can be turned on or off within the admin panel.

12 – Every section should have 15 entries per page listed.

13 – All posts should allow hyperlinks.

14 – We need an option in the members/profile area to allow the user to print out their diary entries or entries from the writing section, the printing should be allowed for individual posts as well as allowing them to print all their entries.

15 – Every entry that ever occurs should be cached so that people can search all public entries ever made in any section.

16 – We need the text editor for the articles, diary and short 200 character post sections to be simple similar to what Twitter uses.

17 – A person should be able to click on the users avatars that is listed beside the posts which will take them to that particular users profile page, if that particular user has made his/her profile private then it needs to go to a nicely designed static page stating that this user has made his or her profile private and that you may contact this user by private message with the appropriate link listed to send the message.

18 – Each users profile page should include the following editable areas: avatar, hobbies, aim, yahoo, msn and icq messenger names, password, about me and public or private option sections.

19 – All entries made on the site needs to have a publicly visible time/date stamp.

20 – Areas of the members/profile page that cannot be modified is to be real name, username, location, email and birth date.

21 – All users posts should include their avatar/picture on the left side and underneath the avatar needs to be how many followers are currently subscribed to their posts.

22 – We want the writers and corporate sections to have a text editor that has all the functionality of the one used at livejournal.com.

23 – We want a section for corporate profiles.

24 – We want a small pm button to show up beside the posts so people reading these posts can private message the poster.

25 – All of users content, location and profiles need to have the ability to be made private by them in the members section.

26 – All corporate submissions should not automatically show up they must be verified in the admin panel after they are verified as a legitimate company.

27 – In the corporate section the company’s need to have the ability to upload a logo and to give a short description of their company, so when the people go to the corporate tab on the front page an alphabetical list of the corporations will be listed and then they can click on the logo of their choice to see that particular company’s static profile page.

28 – We want our users to be able to submit their entries to all the popular social sites using a simple tick and submit process.

29 – We want every entry in the diary and writers section to have the option to make it public or private.

30 – We want a rating system for users that will allow them to rate the posts in the writers section.

31 – Users will need the ability to subscribe to other users posts similar to the way it is done on “Twitter”

32 – When someone posts an entry in the main short post section it automatically gets submitted and those particular entries cannot be removed or edited after submitting them, unless done by the admin.

33 – We want the writers and corporate posts to be able to be edited even after it is posted.

34 – We want a trace route type map system integrated to allow users locations to be shown and the ability for it to be made public or private in their members/profile section.

35 – We want the script to have a module that will list the top people with the most followers on the sites main front page, and the number shown will need to be adjustable from he back end/admin panel.

36 – We want a full banning system in place that allows us to ban countries and also to ban individuals by ip, username and email

37 – We want fully integrated search that allows search by type/section, username, date, keyword and by location.

38 – We want our users to have a members section where they can set all the parameters of their posts, such as what section their posts will be located, the ability to make them private or public, update their personal information ect…

39 – We want the sign up to be very easy and simple with the only thing required being full Name, E-mail, desired user name, and password, we also want a number captcha to eliminate spam, we want to make it auto approved with no email verification required but the ability in the admin section to make it a requirement if we need to.

40 – We want our users to have the ability to get e-mail verified by using a button in their members profile area that says verify your email now, which will give them the opportunity to participate in all contests and giveaways as well as other promotions and will show that they are email verified when other users view peoples profiles.

41 – We want our users to have the ability to invite others to join by manually typing the ones they want to invite, but also the ability to auto invite their friend lists from MSN, YAHOO, GOOGLE and AOL.

42 – We want our users to have the ability to receive emails notifying them that they have new followers.

43 – We want to have an internal messaging system that would allow each user to send other users private messages as well as the admin being able to private nmessage any user.

44 – We want online/offline indicators to show in all public posts that gives the online status of the user that has posted.

45 – We want users to be able to pick from a list of avatars provided by us, but also be able to upload their own picture if they choose.

46 – We want a simple forum to be integrated for our users that can be accessed using the same database so that they will be no additional log-in by the members needed.

47 – We want the site to have at least 3 different skins for the main page only, the rest of the site such as the different posting sections and the members profile sections can stay with the same continuous static look, the main skin should be designed in a bold but soft blue and green color scheme.

48 – The admin panel should include user control, posts management global site settings, mass email, member ban, site statistics, maintenance, time and date, template, and all other possible settings that will allow total control of every aspect of the site.

49 – We need the admin section to include a individual and mass email system.

50 – We will need a down for maintenance option in the admin panel and a nice static maintenance page that will show up after activated.

51 – We also want a way to make a small splash section appear in the top area of the main page such as the one used on ebidnow.info so that we can make announcements about occasional contests and promotions, and this needs to be fully controllable from the admin/back end.

52 – We need a section in the admin for site statistics so that we can track the popularity traffic and back links to our site.

53 – We need our users to have the ability to search within their own post history in their members section and also have the ability to cancel their account by sending a request for cancellation to the admin.

54 – We will need a set of default system emails for such things as welcome, verification, you have followers, contests etc…

Feel free to be creative! but all additions to the script will of course be subject to our approval.

We will need the Final script to be installed on our server, and during the development process by the coder we will need access to see the developing progress on a weekly basis in some form or another.

We will need a hard copy of the full script after installation to the server with detailed installation instructions for future use and backup purposes.

We will have final say on all revisions to the script.

We will provide the logo and tag lines for integration into the skins.

We will need you to provide support in the standard form of revisions until the beta test period is over and all subsequent bugs are fixed.

MAXIMUM TIME FRAME: The entire site, including the admin section will need to be fully operational within but not exceeding 120 Days.

We will need at least a basic production schedule provided to us with general deliverable time lines.

We will always retain the first right of refusal and will have the final decision on all revisions.

If the script is created with ioncube or zend coding for security purposes we will need copies of the final coded and uncoded files.

We also want the script constructed to where we can add different features in the future including a desktop application that will connect to the site and give the users the ability to read and post without actually entering the site, and also an embeddable widget that can be placed on blogs or websites that will allow their posts to be visible to their visitors as well as allowing them to join and follow posters. and possibly an iphone app in the future.

We will own the entire script, original design,all programming source codes, the copyrights and trademarks of the site. Your work will be considered as work for hire with non-disclosure clauses in affect, and should be set up with escrow.

Hi, I’m looking to have made a resellable membership site script that is better than the junk currently online.

I am a internet marketer and I need this script to be fully funcional in all aspects including squeeze pages, sales pages, membership options like gold, silver, bronze.

Must be familiar with Mike Filsaimes Butterfly Marketing script as I want this to have the main features but a lot more simple to set up and use.

I need the graphics and automation to be easily managable from a central panel. I want the admin of the script to function and resemble much like the admin of WordPress.

I don’t care if you use an existing script but must look completely different to anything else offered and be easily customized.

Ability to one click change the header, footer, background, page background, add testimonial boxes, bullet points, the works. Most marketers get frustrated with the graphics and I want this to be crazy easy.

This has to be a marketing minded membership script so I need the works like mass email, one time offers, jv ability, download protection and automated affilite links that are professional looking like http://sitename.com/go/membername

Also the ability to add any and all affiliate tools that you can think of while automatically adding the affilite codes for each tool much like Butterfly Marketing.

Must funcion well and be upgradable for owners to add more affiliate tools as they see fit. Again, the look and feel much like WordPress
with WYSIWYG editor and easy options for graphic, video, and audio inclusion.

Also the ability to upload 12 months worth of products and automate the delivery of each download on any scheduled day of the month. I’m looking for some perks that aren’t on most scripts as I want to stand out from the crowd with this.

Maybe even have the page peel and slide up footer ad options included with the ability to be turned on or off and also add rotating ad ability.

Paypal, Clickbank, and 1 Shopping Cart ready, use your own graphics for payment buttons etc.

My budget is tight but need the essentials as this is going to be offered to others and I will need to continue to have the bugs worked out and changes made by you as my script owners request it.

As you can tell, there is way too much to list about what I want this to do.

If you are confident, I’d sure like to check out your work or a demo to see if this is possible. I spent 2 days at a Butterfly Marketing Script Seminar and I felt that most people left frustrated by this script.

I want to kill it with simplicity so that my 13 year old could set one up. In other words I don’t want anyone to have to go into the source files to change anything.

I want a nicely organized central panel to be able to change virtually anything, even colors and graphics whether by mass change or individual pages.

Also the installation of the script has to be way better than the junk I’ve seen that basically puts people off after they want to rip their hair out trying to install scripts.

File Hosting + Torrent Proxy

I need a custom file hosting script that allows users to have virtual drives which mimic the look windows operating system (i.e.: http://www.4shared.com/dir/1567809/8fff9481/clone.html). Must support username/password authentication features, and other permissions should be able to be set by users.

Must also incorporate a torrent client proxy (allowing users to submit .torrent urls or upload .torrent files from their desktop) and OUR server will download them, and when the download is complete we will provide the user with an http download link from our server.

Must also handle the in-browser viewing of specific types of files in different ways: i.e.: pdf files should be viewable in-browser similarly to www.docshare.com, .doc files should have a similar viewing mechanism, movies should play in browser.

Please read on if you are capable of creating a scalable high-usage and distributed file sharing back-end.

I have a WordPress Blog that has been partially developed for my retail website. I have screenshots of each page design. What I need is a programmer that is an expert in Word Press and E-Commerce online stores:

I need a drag and drop script for my mySql database card collection/images.
I want to allow my web users accounts the ability to scroll through my database collection of cards/images and then have the option to drag and drop items onto the stage into three separate containers with some limitations on how many of one item can be placed into each container and restrictions on others.
What I am attempting to do is allow my members the ability to build virtual card decks with my database of cards.
I will need to split the stage into five sections, one section having the ability to search through the database by card name and then displaying the card image (thumbnail) that can be dragged onto the main deck section. This would be displayed on the right side of stage.
The second section displaying a larger image of the card, its card text and attributes would be displayed on the left side of stage and would only show up when your mouse is hovered over the thumbnail image on the right side that I mentioned above.
The deck building section will be located between the search/thumbnail and the lager image making the main deck section located right dab in the middle of the two.
The main deck containers will need to be split into three sections. One section is to hold the main deck with no more than 80 Main deck entries (Upper middle of stage). Second section is to hold the extra deck of no more then 30 Extra deck entries. I would like to make this a tab so the members could hit the tab flipping between the main deck and the extra deck. The third section is to hold no more than 15 Side deck entries (Lower part of middle stage)

Now for some must haves:
I need to make sure to place some restrictions on how many of one card can be placed into the deck at one time and the ability to change this from time to time. Also there are only certain cards that can be allowed to be placed into the 30 Extra deck entries.
I also need to make this a user feature for my website. I have a forum database of users/users groups and I want to give them the option to save their decks to their user accounts with limits to how many decks they can save based on my user group levels.
I also would like to have an option that will allow the member to click on a button somewhere on the stage that will pop-up a window and display their deck build in text format by its card name and listing them in order by card type, listing the main deck first, then the extra deck and finally the side deck.

Our regular contractor is busy with some big PR opportunity, but these are his notes, so it’ll give you a first look at what needs to be completed and where he left off. By the way…previous guy wasn’t a Drupal guy, but was doing me a favor getting the work done. Anyway…I just wanted to note that since his notes makes it sound like a mess, I think it reflects some work, but more inexperience, no bash intended. He’s still awesome;)

From what I’ve seen, the default blog module allows for all users to create blog content, which of course is undesirable (all users, meaning your customers too.) There very well might be a way to make it so only admin users can use this… but I couldn’t see it.
so I found this:

which is basically instruction on how to do a drupal blog, BUT with limited “bloggers”. The downside is that to accomplish this it limits the people who can actually register… effectively eliminating the ability for customers to register at all. I’m having a very hard time getting this installed and working. So this is NOT a good solution.

I believe the trick is going to be using the default blog module, but figure out a way to limit the users who can post.

Ads:
The banner ad rotating deal seems like it will go REALLY well and is precisely what we’re looking for. I got it installed just fine, started setting things up, etc.. but then got to a point where I’m instructed to look under the help menu to find instructions on how to embed the ads on specific pages
(Administer -> “By module” tab -> then click on any “Get help” link)
All of those help links are broken. I searched all over for help with this, but can’t find any. I’m SOOO close on this, but for whatever reason I can’t access that documentation, and can’t find the content online.

If we can figure out why these links aren’t working, you’d be able to finish this one off.

The script will be needed in both English and German. Joomla Appointment Component

Hi

I have a tattoo studio that is in need of online appointment setting. I will try to explain what I am after to the best of my ability. The registered user will log in to the main site, after which they will have the ability to set an appointment. The user would start by selecting what type of appointment they want, tattoo, body modification, piercing (admin would need to be able to create several different types or appointments). Once the type of appointment is selected a list of artist that can do that type of work would be displayed. The user would pick their artist and then see a calendar displaying the current month and show what days that artist is available. The user would then select a day and see what times the artist has available on that day. The user could then select a time slot. After the time is selected we need to display a conformation page, and require a deposit if the admin has requested so. Once the user has confirmed the appointment date and time and made the deposit if so required then an email will be sent to both the user and the artist showing the date and time along with any deposit made.

Backend:

The admin needs the ability to have full control over all aspects. Only the admin has the ability to define the appointment types, deposit requirements (as in, if a user is not required to put down a deposit and amounts of deposits), which artist can do what type of work (tattoo, body modifications, piercings, etc…) and who the artist are. The artists need to be able to, upon log-in to the main site, see their calendar in a month, week, or day view displaying all appointments that have been confirmed by the artist. They also need to be able to see any request that have been sent over from the website and have the ability to either accept them or decline them (might have an issue with deposits here). They need the ability to use this calendar as their one and only calendar, so they will need to be able to add walk in appointments also. The ability to print the calendar in month, week, day view would be nice but not required. The front desk assistant would need access to schedule appointment for the artist also, not sure exactly how this would work.

I think I’ve covered it all, but if you have any ideas, they’re welcome.

Must be delivered as an installable Joomla! 1.5 component with all source code – I’d like to be able to edit it if necessary, so the code needs to be commented.

Php Or Java Project

I am starting a new service and need the expertise of a PHP and/or Java programmer to interface with the API that the company I am going to use in order to send text messages. The nice thing is that they have allot of sample code so it’s a matter of somebody taking that sample code and creating forms to utilize the API. They have sample code for Java, HTML, and PHP so it really doesn’t matter to me which one we use. I do, however, want the data to be stored in a Mysql DB so keep that in mind. App will sit on a Linux server running CentOS.

Los Angeles based Talent Agency looking to create a customized social network to interact with our clients and buyers. Seeking programmer to customize a PHPfox, Dolphin, or better platform to do the following. In phase one of the development we are looking to achieve the following customizations.

1. Custom User Types:
We have a unique need for this social network that is unlike a traditional modification. We need to set up 5 different user types Clients, Non Exclusive Clients, Buyers, Contacts and agents. The challenge is that each of the first five user profiles can only interact and with the agents. This means that clients can be invited to join the network and only can see, message, chat and post information that can be accessed by the agents category.

2. Custom Profiles based on categories:
The second objective is to create custom profiles for each of these users types via categories. These profiles will have fields relating to the categories set to the user type. For example if the administrator invites a client to join the network he could invite the member pre selecting the user type let’s say for example the client user type. Then the administrator could select the profiles he wishes that user to fill out. Let’s say we invite a client user and we wish to have them fill out the commercial and theatrical profile. They would see this when they log on, but if not invited they would only have access to profiles we issue then. We have about 20 custom profiles, but we would like the ability to add more at a future date.

3. Invitation only network
We wish to be able to invite and approve all members of the network.

4. Custom Layout.
We would like to modify and have pre selected layouts for each profile.

5. Custom event feature:
We need to be able to use the event feature to send auditions and other calendar information to clients. We need to add file attachments to the events and have the ability for the user to confirm the event.

6. Custom News Feature.
We need the ability to customize the news and forum section to only distribute news and forum information to selected profile categories. For example if I want to just post news to people who are buyers, and have a TV packaging profile we should be able to do so when posting.

7. Status
Each profile should have a status area. All agents can see all the status updates from the other user groups, but the user groups can only see the status updates from the agents not other user profiles.

8. Email notification.
Users should have the option to be notified via email, and possibly sms regarding calendar updates and incoming messages and events.

9. Custom Search.
The Agents should have the ability to custom search users on multiple profile fields. All other users should not be able to do this.

Vm Shopbuilder+api Extensions

Ok, Here is the skinny:

We have a rather vast custom built affiliate marketplace that I am migrating to a Joomla + Virtuemart + VM Shopbuilder solution.

The objective of this job is to extend the functionality of a Joomla component called VM Shopbuilder. VM Shopbuilder allows you to easily import affiliate datafeeds directly into Virtuemart and also search the Commission Junction database through their API.

We are looking for a similar functionality, basically duplicating the Commission Junction API feature, that interfaces with Amazon’s API.

Here is a breakdown of what we are looking for:

Amazon API Interface:

1. The ability to build a search query based on one or more of the following variables: keywords, distributor, category, brand, high price, low price, and sku

2. Search results must have the ability to be sorted by: name, price, distributor, brand, and sku

3. Ability to create a new Virtuemart category on the fly to assign the results to as well as the ability to assign the query results to an existing Virtuemart category. (identical to existing CJ interface)

4. Query results are then stored in the VM Shopbuilder “Import Manager” before giving the user the option to add all or just the selected items to the Virtuemart catalog.

Automation Features:

5. All CJ and Amazon search queries must be able to be saved and cataloged for later use.

6. Ability to construct and save search query filters that will allow us to flag and remove certain items from the search results. That way the next time we run the query we don’t have to sort through 10,000 product entries.

7. Ability to run all saved search queries via a cron task.

8. Ability to identify new products in a search result, flag them, and notify web administrator via email. Must be able to filter new products out of the query results from VM Shopbuilder backend.

9. Extend these automation features to the existing Commission Junction interface already in place.

10. Extended product description functionality that will allow us to append a custom description to any item, assign that description to the item and store it in the database. This will be applied to ALL items that are imported with the VM Shopbuilder component, allowing us to maintain our custom description information after any automated product updates or modifications.

Community Events Page

Hey guys, we are looking for help with a small but ongoing project. We had previously posted this project, but due to a few roadblocks and life things have been delayed. Nonetheless, we are looking for all input and will very much need to speak on the phone/skype with the winning bidders. We need specific details as to how progress will be shown to us.

We have chosen to have our site built with Joomla, as we enjoy the interface and relative ease of use. We would prefer our site handed over with Joomla and the template we have chosen, but are open to more efficient, easier options. Our template is RocketTheme’s Mixxmag (Jan ’09).

The first phase of the project involves setting up a simple two page website. The first page will be a detailed events page, and the second page a contact page. We will need an instalment of Joomla on our new server, Google apps set up with our domain, the ability to build an email subscription list, and a stable organized RSS feed. We have sketches of the visual outline to the events pages and contact us page. These can be forwarded upon request, and the functionality we require for both pages can be read below.
There are several more pages and items of functionality that will be set up after this is complete. We will need very quick help with our logo and favicon as well.

Functionality required with the Contact Us Page (ask for attached visual interpretation):

1. A contact form placed underneath a block of text.
a. Submitted forms are forwarded to an admin email address setup with Google Apps.
b. Contact form must fit to the visual appearance of the site
c. We are familiar with the component ChronoForms, but are open to suggestion and custom form organizers.

Functionality required with the Events Page:

1. In Phase One, the Events Page will act as the homepage.

I would like a system developed for Joomla so that clients can sign up to my website entering information including geographic location, specific dates and other information.

This information then needs to be written into the database and accessable from the back end of the website. Each member gets given a unique code to use when referring their friends. Admin shoud have the ability to add information of discounts to the user accounts upon successful referrals.

The ability to send a group email is essential. So is the ability to group member signups into different categories upon choosing a certain choice at signup.

Also, the system should notify the administrator at 3 months before the date the the user has entered arrives.

Classified Ads With a Kick, For a Particular Product Line

This website will deal with a specific type of product, which I will keep confidential for the time being. The type of product involved does typically have an expiration date. The site’s primary content will be “descriptions” of many of the hundreds of products that fall within this product line we are dealing with. These descriptions may be created by admins or by registered users of the site. Users will attach free classified advertisements called “tickets” to these descriptions. The site will initially begin with no content at all. All content will be added by the site admin (me), or users. Users will have an eBay-style private message area where they may receive and respond to messages from site admin and other users they are completing a deal with. A blog and community forum will also be attached to the site.

The site must be compatible with IE 6, 7, 8, and Firefox. An per-existing or custom content management system will be necessary in order to allow me to make changes when necessary. The CMS must afford differing levels of control between system admins and site moderators. Written in Pphp using a LAMP setup (Linux, Apache, MySql, php). I would like the ability to add one-line text ads throughout the page. I would like to be able to add Google AdWords text ads on the sides of the page.

The timeframe for completion is 3 and one half months, with a two week beta testing period.

Please provide separate quotes for coding, design, and both together. You may separate the optional items or include them in the quote as you wish.

The descriptions will include the following information: product title, product description, retail price, optional link to corresponding forum post, optional expiration date, optional links to product info, and number of completed sales of this product on the website IF greater than zero. This sales number will of course be dynamic content. There will also be a place for users to vote the described product up or down. A description may only be edited by the creator, the site admin, or a moderator that the admin has assigned.

The home page will show various featured product descriptions. There will be a search box to search for product descriptions by key word(s). The search results may then be sorted by the following fields: Featured (default), Popular, Rating, Newest, Most Available, and Expired. Continue reading for descriptions of these fields.

The home page will have navigation tabs at the top, which sort the descriptions in different ways for the user. The tabs will be: Featured (default), Popular, Rating, Newest, Most Available, Regional, and Expired. When clicking on a tab, the entire web page will change. I would like to limit the use of AJAX and advanced technologies. No Flash is to be used.

Here are how the descriptions are sorted either by clicking tabs, or by sorting a key word search:

-Featured: Description order is determined by internal site administrator (me)
-Popular: Products described that have the most completed sales on our website come first (see below for more information on how this sales process works)
-Rating – The product description’s rating as voted by users. Users points may be weighted (see below under optional items).
-Newest – Most recently added descriptions
-Most Available – Descriptions with the most classified ads (tickets) attached to them
-Regional – Clickable map above. Below, sorted by state and then city with a number in parentheses showing how many offers exist for the particular city. Cities can be added.

Connected to the descriptions will be free classified advertisements called Tickets. The site will enable registered users (free registration) to post free classified tickets for the exact product in the description if they have one that they would like to sell. In the same way, users may also post a tickets under a product description if they are looking to buy one of the described products.

Tickets will include the following information:
-Product Title – This is automatically populated from the description that the new ticket is being connected to
-Link to the “Description” the ticket is associated with. Again, this is automatically populated.
-”For Sale” or “Looking to Buy” designation
-Price (determined by creator of ticket – This can be the same or different from the retail price on the description
-Payment methods accepted or offered, depending on whether it is a “For Sale” or “Looking to Buy” ticket. (eg. PayPal, Google Checkout, personal check)
-Any information that will be needed or given upon completion of the sale (ex. Name and address, telephone number, etc.)
-Detailed user score information – This is the score of the individual posting the ticket. It is derived from e-Bay style feedback from other users in prior transactions.
-The creating user’s ID or name will be kept anonymous at this stage

After you click on a product description, you will see the tickets below it that users have added that are associated with that product. If there are more “For Sale” tickets, these will show first, and there will be a tab to click for “Looking to Buy” tickets. If there are more “Looking to Buy” tickets, then the opposite will take place. There will be a couple of boxes you can check above the tickets to select “show only FOR SALE tickets” or “show only LOOKING TO BUY tickets”.

Users will then have the ability to sort tickets after clicking into a product description. They can sort by the following fields:
-Ticket creator’s user score high to low
-Ticket creator’s user score low to high
-Ticket price high to low
-Ticket price low to high

When a user accepts a ticket (ex. They want to buy a product offered in a “For Sale” ticket), the original creator of the ticket (not necessarily the creator of the description) is notified and asked if they would also like to accept. This gives them a chance to look at the receiving party’s detailed user score before completing the transaction. The receiving party is also kept anonymous at this stage.

If the offering party accepts:

-Both parties are prompted to make payment of our fee to the website. The fee will initially be heavily discounted for the first months of site operation, but they need to see that in the future, the fee will be the greater of $2 or 10% of the product cost. We will accept payment via PayPal or Google Checkout, including credit cards used via either of these payment gateways,
-When payment is made, usernames are revealed to the two parties, and the two users may begin to communicate through messaging each other in the user message area (not the forum messaging area) to exchange pertinent information.
-User messages must be automatically filtered to prevent the exchanging of email addresses, etc.
o If attempting to submit a message with a filtered word/s, the writer gets a
notice telling them “Unless you wish to edit, the following words will be
removed from your post in accordance with our terms..” The removed words
will be highlighted in red in the message. They will then have the option
to click “Edit” or “Submit”. An alert with the original message as typed
before filtering will be sent to the board moderator and site admin for
their information.
-The two parties are able to rate each other any time after payment. Ratings will include:
o An overall rating of one to five stars
o Sub-category ratings (these do not affect the overall rating)
_ Timeliness of money transferred
_ Accuracy of the ticket information
_ Communication
o An optional text review of 140 characters or less
-The two parties’ ratings of each other are not published until BOTH RATINGS have been submited, unless:
o If the receiving party’s rating has been submitted for 5 full calendar days
already with no rating submitted from the offering party. In this case, the
receiving party’s rating is published and the offering party no longer has
the opportunity to rate the receiver.
o If the receiving party never completes a rating, then no ratings will be
published, even if the offering party has submitted a rating to be
published.

If the offering party does not accept the receiver, the offering party is asked if they need to block this kind of offer or this user in the future, leading them to a new page
-Offering party may block
o the same offer from the same user,
o and/ or the user altogether,
o and/ or the same offer from all users

User Forum considerations
-users can add to each others’ forum reputation scores as at slickdeals.net user forum
-separate forum private messages
-filters on posts and private messages (with clear warnings as in the main site user messages above)
-free registration
-normal forum capabilities for registered users – search, avatar, etc.

Optional Items

*Even if these items are not implemented initially, the site must be constructed so that they may be added later if desired.

-The ability to add a ticket to your “Watching” list of tickets you want to consider for the future.
-A link beside the search box for “Ticket Search” where you may search only tickets b(not descriptions) by a key word(s)
-If a product expires before the expiration date, a user can tag the description as expired through a link on the description that says “Mark as Expired”. When this is done, a statement in red text will be put on the description that says “A user has tagged this product description as expired. Please vote it expired or active here.” The product will become expired when it reaches a certain number of votes of expiration from users. If the point balance goes to zero or a negative number from people voting it active, the warning in red will go away.
-Safari compatibility is a plus.
-The ability to change the site’s background/ wallpaper from time to time is a bonus.
-When users vote on the rating of an offer, or whether an offer is expired, their points are weighted. Here are things that give weight to a user’s vote:
o 10 points for completed sales transaction
o If 4 stars user rating, multiply transaction points by 2. If 5 stars,
multiply by 3

o 2 points for each level of Forum Rating attained
o 1 point for each portion of a year as a user
o 1 point for each 10 Forum posts
- User’s points can be set to 0 by admin if I don’t want their vote to count.

Classified Ads With a Kick, For a Particular Product Line

This website will deal with a specific type of product, which I will keep confidential for the time being. The type of product involved does typically have an expiration date. The site’s primary content will be “descriptions” of many of the hundreds of products that fall within this product line we are dealing with. These descriptions may be created by admins or by registered users of the site. Users will attach free classified advertisements called “tickets” to these descriptions. The site will initially begin with no content at all. All content will be added by the site admin (me), or users. Users will have an eBay-style private message area where they may receive and respond to messages from site admin and other users they are completing a deal with. A blog and community forum will also be attached to the site.

The site must be compatible with IE 6, 7, 8, and Firefox. An per-existing or custom content management system will be necessary in order to allow me to make changes when necessary. The CMS must afford differing levels of control between system admins and site moderators. Written in Pphp using a LAMP setup (Linux, Apache, MySql, php). I would like the ability to add one-line text ads throughout the page. I would like to be able to add Google AdWords text ads on the sides of the page.

The timeframe for completion is 3 and one half months, with a two week beta testing period.

Please provide separate quotes for coding, design, and both together. You may separate the optional items or include them in the quote as you wish.

The descriptions will include the following information: product title, product description, retail price, optional link to corresponding forum post, optional expiration date, optional links to product info, and number of completed sales of this product on the website IF greater than zero. This sales number will of course be dynamic content. There will also be a place for users to vote the described product up or down. A description may only be edited by the creator, the site admin, or a moderator that the admin has assigned.

The home page will show various featured product descriptions. There will be a search box to search for product descriptions by key word(s). The search results may then be sorted by the following fields: Featured (default), Popular, Rating, Newest, Most Available, and Expired. Continue reading for descriptions of these fields.

The home page will have navigation tabs at the top, which sort the descriptions in different ways for the user. The tabs will be: Featured (default), Popular, Rating, Newest, Most Available, Regional, and Expired. When clicking on a tab, the entire web page will change. I would like to limit the use of AJAX and advanced technologies. No Flash is to be used.

Here are how the descriptions are sorted either by clicking tabs, or by sorting a key word search:

-Featured: Description order is determined by internal site administrator (me)
-Popular: Products described that have the most completed sales on our website come first (see below for more information on how this sales process works)
-Rating – The product description’s rating as voted by users. Users points may be weighted (see below under optional items).
-Newest – Most recently added descriptions
-Most Available – Descriptions with the most classified ads (tickets) attached to them
-Regional – Clickable map above. Below, sorted by state and then city with a number in parentheses showing how many offers exist for the particular city. Cities can be added.

Connected to the descriptions will be free classified advertisements called Tickets. The site will enable registered users (free registration) to post free classified tickets for the exact product in the description if they have one that they would like to sell. In the same way, users may also post a tickets under a product description if they are looking to buy one of the described products.

Tickets will include the following information:
-Product Title – This is automatically populated from the description that the new ticket is being connected to
-Link to the “Description” the ticket is associated with. Again, this is automatically populated.
-”For Sale” or “Looking to Buy” designation
-Price (determined by creator of ticket – This can be the same or different from the retail price on the description
-Payment methods accepted or offered, depending on whether it is a “For Sale” or “Looking to Buy” ticket. (eg. PayPal, Google Checkout, personal check)
-Any information that will be needed or given upon completion of the sale (ex. Name and address, telephone number, etc.)
-Detailed user score information – This is the score of the individual posting the ticket. It is derived from e-Bay style feedback from other users in prior transactions.
-The creating user’s ID or name will be kept anonymous at this stage

After you click on a product description, you will see the tickets below it that users have added that are associated with that product. If there are more “For Sale” tickets, these will show first, and there will be a tab to click for “Looking to Buy” tickets. If there are more “Looking to Buy” tickets, then the opposite will take place. There will be a couple of boxes you can check above the tickets to select “show only FOR SALE tickets” or “show only LOOKING TO BUY tickets”.

Users will then have the ability to sort tickets after clicking into a product description. They can sort by the following fields:
-Ticket creator’s user score high to low
-Ticket creator’s user score low to high
-Ticket price high to low
-Ticket price low to high

When a user accepts a ticket (ex. They want to buy a product offered in a “For Sale” ticket), the original creator of the ticket (not necessarily the creator of the description) is notified and asked if they would also like to accept. This gives them a chance to look at the receiving party’s detailed user score before completing the transaction. The receiving party is also kept anonymous at this stage.

If the offering party accepts:

-Both parties are prompted to make payment of our fee to the website. The fee will initially be heavily discounted for the first months of site operation, but they need to see that in the future, the fee will be the greater of $2 or 10% of the product cost. We will accept payment via PayPal or Google Checkout, including credit cards used via either of these payment gateways,
-When payment is made, usernames are revealed to the two parties, and the two users may begin to communicate through messaging each other in the user message area (not the forum messaging area) to exchange pertinent information.
-User messages must be automatically filtered to prevent the exchanging of email addresses, etc.
o If attempting to submit a message with a filtered word/s, the writer gets a
notice telling them “Unless you wish to edit, the following words will be
removed from your post in accordance with our terms..” The removed words
will be highlighted in red in the message. They will then have the option
to click “Edit” or “Submit”. An alert with the original message as typed
before filtering will be sent to the board moderator and site admin for
their information.
-The two parties are able to rate each other any time after payment. Ratings will include:
o An overall rating of one to five stars
o Sub-category ratings (these do not affect the overall rating)
_ Timeliness of money transferred
_ Accuracy of the ticket information
_ Communication
o An optional text review of 140 characters or less
-The two parties’ ratings of each other are not published until BOTH RATINGS have been submited, unless:
o If the receiving party’s rating has been submitted for 5 full calendar days
already with no rating submitted from the offering party. In this case, the
receiving party’s rating is published and the offering party no longer has
the opportunity to rate the receiver.
o If the receiving party never completes a rating, then no ratings will be
published, even if the offering party has submitted a rating to be
published.

If the offering party does not accept the receiver, the offering party is asked if they need to block this kind of offer or this user in the future, leading them to a new page
-Offering party may block
o the same offer from the same user,
o and/ or the user altogether,
o and/ or the same offer from all users

User Forum considerations
-users can add to each others’ forum reputation scores as at slickdeals.net user forum
-separate forum private messages
-filters on posts and private messages (with clear warnings as in the main site user messages above)
-free registration
-normal forum capabilities for registered users – search, avatar, etc.

Optional Items

*Even if these items are not implemented initially, the site must be constructed so that they may be added later if desired.

-The ability to add a ticket to your “Watching” list of tickets you want to consider for the future.
-A link beside the search box for “Ticket Search” where you may search only tickets b(not descriptions) by a key word(s)
-If a product expires before the expiration date, a user can tag the description as expired through a link on the description that says “Mark as Expired”. When this is done, a statement in red text will be put on the description that says “A user has tagged this product description as expired. Please vote it expired or active here.” The product will become expired when it reaches a certain number of votes of expiration from users. If the point balance goes to zero or a negative number from people voting it active, the warning in red will go away.
-Safari compatibility is a plus.
-The ability to change the site’s background/ wallpaper from time to time is a bonus.
-When users vote on the rating of an offer, or whether an offer is expired, their points are weighted. Here are things that give weight to a user’s vote:
o 10 points for completed sales transaction
o If 4 stars user rating, multiply transaction points by 2. If 5 stars,
multiply by 3

o 2 points for each level of Forum Rating attained
o 1 point for each portion of a year as a user
o 1 point for each 10 Forum posts
- User’s points can be set to 0 by admin if I don’t want their vote to count.

Graphic Design Considerations

-The “For Sale” And “Looking To Buy” tickets should be differing colors.
-A female graphic artist is preferable.
-no Adobe Flash
-appealing to both genders and a variety of ages and demographics
-clean looking
-offers should be enclosed in an empty, rounded rectangle
-tickets should be enclosed in the shape of a luggage tag
-minimal javascript if any
-800 pixel fixed width – non-scaling, but with a backdrop/ wallpaper color or pattern behind it
-pleasing color scheme, with colors used to highlight important areas of the page
-logo stands out, is trademarked and integrated with surrounding graphics and slogan
o I can provide some direction on the logo
-rounded corners
-shading and reflection for depth
-good use of white space
-unique, eye-catching
-very obvious search bar
-possible use of elements from US paper currency
-favicon

Mods To Project Pier

Need 3 different modifications done to the Project Pier management system.

1.) Need the ability to be able to search for projects from the dashboard. Currently you can only search within an open project, but I need the ability to query all available projects directly from the dashboard.

2.) Need the ability to ‘lock’ the editing of messages after 30 days. Currently the user who posted the message can edit the message indefinitely. I need to change this so that the message is locked after 30 days time.

3.) Need the ability to archive old projects. Currently this cannot be done, I need to be able to place projects in a ‘closed’ status so that their archived and can be searched somewhere for record keeping.

This database is currently up and running with documents already created. The changes would need to be made without bringing this database down, or late at night EST.

Php/mysql Script For Gift Card

I need a php app that will allow a visitor to my site to enter in a “gift card code” that will send the user to a page if the code is valid and to another if the code is not valid.
I would like to have the code entry page and an admin section.

admin section:
- provide the ability to generate as many random codes as needed, and allow me to export them as a .csv file for use on gift cards.
- provide the ability to setup the DB for those codes.
- provide the ability to have several gift cards, which means that a set of codes will only apply per type of card (card=product)
- each product will be able to configure a different success page and failure page.
