I need a plugin to automatically post status feeds in Facebook and Twitter when a database on my site is updated.

I run an online portal which is branded to companies via subdomain. Each subdomain has content that I provide and a section that they have their own content as well. I need it so that they have the option of posting status updates when I post content to their site and when they post their own content.

I have a client admin area for my clients. I would like it so that they will enter their username and password for facebook & twitter in the admin area and it would automatically post updates in facebook & twitter.

For anyone who has developed on these platforms before, it should be a quick and easy task.

Create Database For Website

We are in need of a programmer to build a database driven part of an existing website.
We have a website that is currently like a brochure style website. We want to incorporate a database in the back end of it, so that customers can log in, and register (similar to this site) and log into their “control panel”
We (being a catering company) would like to then ‘upload’ quotes in the form of a pdf to that account. The customer would then be able to log in and view their most recent quote as per their current project.
The can then view the quote online or download it. If they are viewing it online, they can then approve it via the website, or click the changes button and enter in the details that they would like to change on the order until they get to the point that they can approve the order.
We would also like to obtain the API coding from net2mobile.com.au and use its services to send a SMS to our customer to let them know that they have received a new quote in the system.
One day we would also like the full back end to be a complete piece of software that can be used to put our catering quotes into and view our orders coming up, and then also output invoices and insert them into quickbooks – australia. But this is the long term goal (unless its more easy than it appears) but the system needs to be designed around that at the start so it can be upgraded into that format.

Video Intro

My client needs to have a video intro created that THEY can add to several existing video clips that they want to display on their website. The intro should be approximately 10 seconds in length. The video needs to be eye-catching/interesting and it must incorporate my client’s company logo. In addition, the video needs to display a specific text message (to be provided).

I will provide you with their company logo and the specific message that they want displayed once I choose a bid. I need this video provided to me in the following formats: AVI, MPG, and whatever format you use to create the original (so that we can make modifications in the future).

I’ve attached an example video that was created for another client so that you can get a better idea of what we’re looking for.

Social Microblog Site

We are looking for a highly experienced coder to complete the following project.

We need the site to be a hybrid, similar but different to certain aspects of micro blogging, journal sharing, shout outs, news, forum, writing and community type sites.

Description:

We want someone who can build us a php script with full mysql database with its own installer for use with the installation process and we want it based on similar features that Twitter, Facebook, LiveJournal and Digg type sites offer.

The similarities/differences and/or additions and needs of our site are as follows:

1 – We want a clean and simple tabbed type interface that is easy for users to navigate.

2 – When users click on the log-in tab we want it to go to a nice secure static log-in page with an optional check mark box to allow users to stay signed in permanently if they so desire.

3 – We also want the ability for a log-out function to show up after a successful log-in.

4 – We want the site to be clean and secure.

5 – We want our users to be able to make short 200 character limited type posts with a simple small basic text editor like the one implemented on “Twitter” but also have the ability to post longer entries in separate sections at around 2000 characters for an online
diary and 5000 characters for a writers section.

6 – We need within the header, links to ABOUT US, FAQ, News, LOG-IN, and FORUMS all with their own static pages.

7 – We need the footer to include “copyright, terms and conditions, privacy policy and contact us” all which need to have links to their own nicely designed static pages.

8 – We want google translations integrated on the main page using a drop down type menu.

9 – We want a different section for writers to post their articles and short stories.

10 – On the main page the tabs should be from left to right as follows Recent, Popular, Life Log, Writers, and Corporate.

11 – We need the main site to have a small sidebar that includes the current time and date, a navigation button to the members area and a custom box for sponsors that can be turned on or off within the admin panel.

12 – Every section should have 15 entries per page listed.

13 – All posts should allow hyperlinks.

14 – We need an option in the members/profile area to allow the user to print out their diary entries or entries from the writing section, the printing should be allowed for individual posts as well as allowing them to print all their entries.

15 – Every entry that ever occurs should be cached so that people can search all public entries ever made in any section.

16 – We need the text editor for the articles, diary and short 200 character post sections to be simple similar to what Twitter uses.

17 – A person should be able to click on the users avatars that is listed beside the posts which will take them to that particular users profile page, if that particular user has made his/her profile private then it needs to go to a nicely designed static page stating that this user has made his or her profile private and that you may contact this user by private message with the appropriate link listed to send the message.

18 – Each users profile page should include the following editable areas: avatar, hobbies, aim, yahoo, msn and icq messenger names, password, about me and public or private option sections.

19 – All entries made on the site needs to have a publicly visible time/date stamp.

20 – Areas of the members/profile page that cannot be modified is to be real name, username, location, email and birth date.

21 – All users posts should include their avatar/picture on the left side and underneath the avatar needs to be how many followers are currently subscribed to their posts.

22 – We want the writers and corporate sections to have a text editor that has all the functionality of the one used at livejournal.com.

23 – We want a section for corporate profiles.

24 – We want a small pm button to show up beside the posts so people reading these posts can private message the poster.

25 – All of users content, location and profiles need to have the ability to be made private by them in the members section.

26 – All corporate submissions should not automatically show up they must be verified in the admin panel after they are verified as a legitimate company.

27 – In the corporate section the company’s need to have the ability to upload a logo and to give a short description of their company, so when the people go to the corporate tab on the front page an alphabetical list of the corporations will be listed and then they can click on the logo of their choice to see that particular company’s static profile page.

28 – We want our users to be able to submit their entries to all the popular social sites using a simple tick and submit process.

29 – We want every entry in the diary and writers section to have the option to make it public or private.

30 – We want a rating system for users that will allow them to rate the posts in the writers section.

31 – Users will need the ability to subscribe to other users posts similar to the way it is done on “Twitter”

32 – When someone posts an entry in the main short post section it automatically gets submitted and those particular entries cannot be removed or edited after submitting them, unless done by the admin.

33 – We want the writers and corporate posts to be able to be edited even after it is posted.

34 – We want a trace route type map system integrated to allow users locations to be shown and the ability for it to be made public or private in their members/profile section.

35 – We want the script to have a module that will list the top people with the most followers on the sites main front page, and the number shown will need to be adjustable from he back end/admin panel.

36 – We want a full banning system in place that allows us to ban countries and also to ban individuals by ip, username and email

37 – We want fully integrated search that allows search by type/section, username, date, keyword and by location.

38 – We want our users to have a members section where they can set all the parameters of their posts, such as what section their posts will be located, the ability to make them private or public, update their personal information ect…

39 – We want the sign up to be very easy and simple with the only thing required being full Name, E-mail, desired user name, and password, we also want a number captcha to eliminate spam, we want to make it auto approved with no email verification required but the ability in the admin section to make it a requirement if we need to.

40 – We want our users to have the ability to get e-mail verified by using a button in their members profile area that says verify your email now, which will give them the opportunity to participate in all contests and giveaways as well as other promotions and will show that they are email verified when other users view peoples profiles.

41 – We want our users to have the ability to invite others to join by manually typing the ones they want to invite, but also the ability to auto invite their friend lists from MSN, YAHOO, GOOGLE and AOL.

42 – We want our users to have the ability to receive emails notifying them that they have new followers.

43 – We want to have an internal messaging system that would allow each user to send other users private messages as well as the admin being able to private nmessage any user.

44 – We want online/offline indicators to show in all public posts that gives the online status of the user that has posted.

45 – We want users to be able to pick from a list of avatars provided by us, but also be able to upload their own picture if they choose.

46 – We want a simple forum to be integrated for our users that can be accessed using the same database so that they will be no additional log-in by the members needed.

47 – We want the site to have at least 3 different skins for the main page only, the rest of the site such as the different posting sections and the members profile sections can stay with the same continuous static look, the main skin should be designed in a bold but soft blue and green color scheme.

48 – The admin panel should include user control, posts management global site settings, mass email, member ban, site statistics, maintenance, time and date, template, and all other possible settings that will allow total control of every aspect of the site.

49 – We need the admin section to include a individual and mass email system.

50 – We will need a down for maintenance option in the admin panel and a nice static maintenance page that will show up after activated.

51 – We also want a way to make a small splash section appear in the top area of the main page such as the one used on ebidnow.info so that we can make announcements about occasional contests and promotions, and this needs to be fully controllable from the admin/back end.

52 – We need a section in the admin for site statistics so that we can track the popularity traffic and back links to our site.

53 – We need our users to have the ability to search within their own post history in their members section and also have the ability to cancel their account by sending a request for cancellation to the admin.

54 – We will need a set of default system emails for such things as welcome, verification, you have followers, contests etc…

Feel free to be creative! but all additions to the script will of course be subject to our approval.

We will need the Final script to be installed on our server, and during the development process by the coder we will need access to see the developing progress on a weekly basis in some form or another.

We will need a hard copy of the full script after installation to the server with detailed installation instructions for future use and backup purposes.

We will have final say on all revisions to the script.

We will provide the logo and tag lines for integration into the skins.

We will need you to provide support in the standard form of revisions until the beta test period is over and all subsequent bugs are fixed.

MAXIMUM TIME FRAME: The entire site, including the admin section will need to be fully operational within but not exceeding 120 Days.

We will need at least a basic production schedule provided to us with general deliverable time lines.

We will always retain the first right of refusal and will have the final decision on all revisions.

If the script is created with ioncube or zend coding for security purposes we will need copies of the final coded and uncoded files.

We also want the script constructed to where we can add different features in the future including a desktop application that will connect to the site and give the users the ability to read and post without actually entering the site, and also an embeddable widget that can be placed on blogs or websites that will allow their posts to be visible to their visitors as well as allowing them to join and follow posters. and possibly an iphone app in the future.

We will own the entire script, original design,all programming source codes, the copyrights and trademarks of the site. Your work will be considered as work for hire with non-disclosure clauses in affect, and should be set up with escrow.

Installed Joomla Site Mod

The site is installed. It’s one of those premade joomla tempaltes.

I’m willing to pay $125-175 for this project. It must be completed in no more then 7 days.

My company has worked with joomla pages in the past, so we know what work goes into it. Our price we believe is fair.

Anyway I have a joomla template that will need to be modified and changed to look similar to temp agency except there will be no job listings. There will 2 logins. One for the potential employee. They basically will just fill information about their skill level, experience, attach a resume, etc.

The other login will be for employers. This will allow employers to search through employees based on different criteria. Such as skill level, location, etc.

For the template right now the following will need to be changed.

Get rid of the poll section

Get rid of Who’s online

get rid of the main menu

On the other side where it has Login form, change that to consultant loggin form.

Where it reads popular put in a form that reads employer login

Leave the home tab and contact us at the top of the page. You can keep the other tabs blank if you want.

On the left side of Clear connection consulting I want to put 2 c’s connecting on C at the bottom. I can fax that to you if you want me to.

- In the backend of the website I am going to need to be able to turn the rate on to some employers after I can verify them.

Once the employer is logged in he’ll be able to see resumes by skill set, so there will have to be a line in which the employer will be able to put down the skills that they are looking for. I believe that there should be more than one line for skill set looking for possibly 5-6 lines for this. The employer will never know what the employee is getting but instead he will get the final rate of the consultant. I will get to that later on. The employer will never see the last name of the employee, they will only be able to see the first name. If there are more than one Scott for instance it probably should read Scott M. Bronx, New York. That broken down would be Scott (first name) M. (middle initial) Bronx (city) New York (state). There should also be some way that the employer could save a couple of people that they are looking for to view later. Once they select one of the consultants and state that they want to continue the computer should tell the employer to us. I may change the name and such but you get the jest.

I believe it would look good to ask each consultant for their skill set and how many years they have done such a skill set. Each consultant is going to be asked there minimum amount they want to pay the employee. Now that amount will not show up on the employer sight, they will see the formula of the consultants rate +15(.1)= employers rate that posts on their side of the website. Also another question that needs to be asked do they want to telecommute or be onsite or both? How many hours per week do they want to work? What is there legal status US citizen, H1B status, or greencard. What market do they want to work, what city? My primary goal is to focus in on Chicago, but that might change and I can place anywhere. Also the date that the resume is posted should be posted. The consultants should have a way to mark their status as available or unavailable

I know for the employer to search for keywords there is a technology in which it can search a document altogether to find that as a keyword. I would prefer the resumes to be searched like this other than the other way by keywords because sometimes people don’t put everything into the keywords of the resume, but it’s scattered throughout the resume.

The point is that when the EmploYER is searching through the candidates he may want to look for keywords (xml, php, and asp). This person would come up because they relate to these keywords.

The number one search criteria for employers should be city or zip code and how far away from this location they are loooking for employees.

So for example they should type in the zip code of where they are looking for employess and how far away they want to look.

So say they want people for work in Chantilly, VA zip code 20151. They would type in zip code 20151 and then enter the maximum radius they will look for potential clients.

What I want in the website:

Once the employer is login he’ll be able to see resumes by skill set, so there will have to be a line in which the employer will be able to put down the skills that they are looking for. I believe that there should be more than one line for skill set looking for possibly 5-6 lines for this. The employer will never know what the employee is getting but instead he will get the final rate of the consultant. I will get to that later on. The employer will never see the last name of the employee, they will only be able to see the first name. If there are more than one Scott for instance it probably should read Scott M. Bronx, New York. That broken down would be Scott (first name) M. (idle initial) Bronx (city) New York (state. There should also be some way that the employer could save a couple of people that they are looking for to view later. Once they select one of the consultants and state that they want to continue the computer should tell the employer to us. I may change the name and such but you get the jest.

Once they are login and have a screen name and password, they will be able to download there resume onto the sight. I believe it would look good to ask each consultant for their skill set and how many years they have done such a skill set. Each consultant is going to be asked there minimum amount they want to pay the employee. Now that amount will not show up on the employer sight, they will see the formula of the consultants rate +15(.1)= employers rate that posts on their side of the website. Also another question that needs to be asked do they want to telecommute or be onsite or both? How many hours per week do they want to work? What is there legal status US citizen, H1B status, or greencard. What market do they want to work, what city? My primary goal is to focus in on Chicago, but that might change and I can place anywhere. Also the date that the resume is posted should be posted. The consultants should have a way to mark their status as available or unavailable

I know for the employer to search for keywords there is a technology in which it can search a document altogether to find that as a keyword. I would prefer the resumes to be searched like this other than the other way by keywords because sometimes people don’t put everything into the keywords of the resume, but it’s scattered throughout the resume.

We will have to ask how many employers they had in order to get the spacing right on the resume section. My other thought is to have them fill in the skill set and name then after that have them upload there resume in PDF form or word form. This would get the resumes a little bit uneven but that really shouldn’t matter. Also when it comes to phone ,e-mail, address and full name we can get that from the registration form.

After the employer or consultant registers we should check their identity by sending them an e-mail in which they have to log into their e-mail to confirm their identity.

Create Website For Me

I want to create a website for youtube video views. Users will setup a username that they will login to. They will submit the URL of the youtube video they want to promote. Then once they submit there link there will be a program or a page which will have to allow the user to click tons of other registered users video URL links a minute to boost those other users views. There will have to be a way for me to edit the amount each user will get. Say a free user would get 1/2 of the views to there URL that they click. Then paid users will not have to click anything. I want this to be a quick way for them to click the other users URLs. Either a script that would bring up random URLs and they click and it loads the youtube page and then redirects them back to my website and gives them a URL or a program that they can run all night on my website or a software that would run through my websites database that would run while they are not at the computer but would load thousands of different youtube video URLs that were signed up(all free users would have to get the same number of clicks back to there page based on what they clicked). Really I am open to anything but the main thing is have to have a way that people can sign-up and the free users would have to click and be redirected back to my page quickly enough to get them hundreds or thousands of clicks a hour or even a software that would load thousands of different youtube video URLs an hour. Please PM with your info. I would prefer to only have US programmers bid so that the communication and time zone is easiest. Also, I will buy the domain and get unlimited bandwidth you will just have to edit the page to do the things I need.

Simple Recruitment Webpage

Timeframe = 5 days.

I am completely new to this. So far I have just registered the website I want to use.

This first project on offer is just a smart looking webpage please (just one page) for a new recruitment business in the Caribbean.

I just want people to be able to click on one of four icons (named: LAW, ACCOUNTANCY, INVESTMENT FUNDS, TRUSTS) and then be put through to a form that they can submit to my email address in which they can input their summary of the job that they are looking for and attach their resume (and perhaps a video resume if possible) for a job in that category (the form should be headed with the category that they clicked on).

Along the top of the page there should be a photo of smiling business people in their 30s along with a logo for the business, and underneath this there should be a large photo of a tropical beach, with the four prominent square icons/buttons that you can click on being on top of the beach photo (but still clearly visible).

I will provide text introducing the business etc. and I would like to be able to change the webpage in the future and to add multiple sub-pages in order to get a good Google ranking over the next few months before the business actually launches.

This is the first of several new websites that I am going to start, and I would like to find someone who can do a great job with this first webpage.

Upgrade For A Dating Website

1. I need an Experienced Programmer to install A Photo Gallery on a Dating Website. This is where the photos of all members can be viewed. When you click on a member’s photo, his or her profile will come up including the rest of the photos that they may have in their profile. I have a sample site to show.

2. The mail Alert Function on the site is not working for some
reason. I suspect it may have been disabled. Not sure. This is
the function or system that generates and sends Automatic Emails
to members’ Mailbox outside of the website, alerting them
that they have been sent a mail at the site by other members.

I need a new software installed or downloaded that will enable

Online Registration

Hello,

I need an online form / Database set up for accepting online registration for a sports league.

The form is done already, I need to add functionality and also need a small admin area where we can log in and view all of the registrants.

The form needs to have some functionality where based on the birthday they input, the database kicks out the one division that they are allowed to register in instead of them picking the division. The divisions will be based on the users birthday as of December 31.

I also need captcha on this form to prevent spam.

For the admin panel, I need to have a database to capture all of the details of each registraion. I need to be able to search these based on division signed up for and i need to be able to view them online, and also I need to be able to export 1 or all of them per division into an excel spread sheet.

I also need a registration confirmation page after they hit submit telling them that they have successfully registered, but that they wont officially be in the system until they take a check into the office. I also need this emailed to them at the address they provide.

I also need an email confirmation sent to the admin of the site showing that they have registred, name, birthday, and division and date and time of registration.

This is not a difficult job, but it needs to be done correctly. It needs to be able to function with MULTIPLE users inputting at the same time as it is possible to get 300+ people using it on the first day, possibly in the first few hours.

The cost of this, should be reasonable and there will be alot more work on this site given to the programmer that excels at this task.

Online Property Illustration

Our client has an Excel spreadsheet (attached) containing several formulae that they use to create PDF-based Property Illustrations.

The brief is to create an online version of this system that end-users can complete themselves to generate a PDF illustration.

The system will work in a similar way to online insurance quote systems, with each page asking for specific information and saving it to a database. The final screen will be a summary of input data and an option to e-mail and/or print the illustration.

The proposed dataflow is as follows (to be read in conjunction with Excel file). NB, bullet numbers relate to screen numbers:

1. End user enter details of IFA (Financial Advisor) – name, company, e-mail, tel, etc.

2. End-user is presented with ‘Assumptions’ (Alltrust Fees – See Excel cells K47-K63). These are pre-populated but will need to be changed by the client within a back-end system from time to time.

3. End-user is presented with ‘Cash Flow Information’ (see Excel cells A47-63). These figures will be pre-populated but the end-user will be able to change them (these figures will then form calculation formulae later on).

4. End-user enters details of Member 1 (see Excel Row 11). At the bottom of this screen the end-user will be asked if they want to add another member. If yes, they are presented with a screen to enter details of Member 2 (see Excel Row 12). This will continue looping up to a maximum of 6 members.

5. End-user enters details of property (see Excel cells A19-39).

6. At this point a summary screen will display all of the information entered and allow the end-user the opportunity of going back to amend any of the previous screens.

7. On clicking submit the system will perform all of the calculations required to generate the ‘Property Illustration Study’ (See 2nd Worksheet in Excel file; ‘Output Screen 10 Years’. Options will be to view/print the illustration as a PDF or e-mail it to the end-user as an attachment. Once the report has been generated, a copy is also e-mailed to a fixed e-mail address belonging to the system operator so that they can follow up on the illustration.

The look-and-feel of the system will be to match the client’s existing web site although this system will be a standalone micro-site and not require integration with any parent site.

I need options as to which programming language and why as well as detailed cost and time projections. As a secondary option, costs will be required for developing a system that will ‘capture data only’ over several screens and e-mail the captured data to the system operator so that they can manually populate the Excel spreadsheet and e-mail the illustration to the end-user (lower cost option).

Our client is looking for projected costs for this project asap so fast responses will be gratefully received.

In Browser Ftp Upload Solution

Hi All

I have a client that is a printing house and needs their clients to be able to upload files to their server so that they can have access at the other end for printing. Here are some details:
1. Needs a simple backend to be able to do some user management, create user, edit user, delete user, assign password, etc.
2. From the frontend, the client needs to be able to login, assuming that their user account has been created, and get to their account page on the server.
3. From here they should be able to see all the files that they have previously uploaded, including the information such as date and time stamp, and size of files.
4. At this point, they should be able to upload multiple files and should be able to see a graphical representation of the progress of uploading. The files will typically be large, so you need to take this into consideration.
5. Whether or not the end user has the rights to delete their own files from their own server area, is yet to be decided.
6. From the printshop’s point of view, they should be able to see all of the activities of their clients, as log files.
7. The printshop admin will have access to any and all files that their client uploads, and should be able to perform all operations, including deleting multiple files.

This is not a difficult project for someone who has done this type of work before, and I have been unfortunate enough to have worked with a developer who claimed that they know what they are doing, but have very little clue to what’s actually going on.

Please do not bid, if you have no idea of what is going on. Please be able to communicate in English well, since language is sometimes an issue. Also, please bid if you have 9.5 or above score and have done at least 20 project in the last 3-4 months.

Messaging System

AJAX/PHP/MYSQL Msg System:

This project is a simple messaging system, with some usability tweaks.

THE CONCEPT:
Users send and receive messages from random people on the internet.

SYNOPSIS:
Random user arrives at the site from the *web*. They see 3 messages waiting for them (They are only allowed to select 1 message… the others link to register, and they are notified that they can only select the 1 message without being registered). They select a message and read it. There is a “Reply” button and a “Register” button on this page. Both go to the same registration page, where they fill out their user info (username | password | email | location (Possibly more profile info once verified)), once they verify their email address, they are taken back to reply to their message.

Registered users are alotted 3 messages per day that they can “Cast Out” into the abyss of the system. These messages go into a queue of “Unopened Messages” (These are the random messages that appear to random users from the *web*, as well as the messages that registered users come across in the system (I’ll describe this in a moment.)

REFERRALS:
Registered users can refer other users and increase the number of messages that they can “Cast Out” per day, 1:1, meaning, for every new user they refer, they get 1 more message they can send out.

BROWSE THE SYSTEM:
Registered users can “Browse” the system for new messages. They can open 1 per day. (Again, they can increase this by referring other users 1:1). When they browse, they see a listing similar to this:

Emoji / Smilies (Browse, Add, Delete)

THE MESSAGE:
A message should look something like this:

MESSAGE FUNCTIONS:
The message is a continuous thread back and forth between the 2 individual users, stored in the user’s account. A user can “Close” a message and this will cancel the communication. If the other user replies to a closed message, they simply get a system response back. “We’re sorry, the other party has closed this message.” If the second user also closes the message, the message is deleted from their accounts. All messages are stored in the database, open, queued and closed.

BROADCAST MESSAGES:
Admin can broadcast a message to all users “instantly” or on a schedule.

That’s the basic idea. I hope I have been clear and conveyed the concept well enough. I will probably need a tweak here and there after the system is built, as it is currently only in my head and I don’t know that I am covering all of the aspects of it.

I would like the main functionality to be done in AJAX (live message notifications, live sending etc…), as well as the Pick One front end to be done in Ajax. The user registration can be Ajax also.

Anyhow, I hope this all makes sense. I have a fairly good understanding of what is involved with this, and know it’s not a huge undertaking. I just don’t have the time to write it myself, however I can be very helpful during development with suggestions and direction.
