Php Script Needed

July 22nd, 2011 Comments off

I am in need of a script being made in PHP. I need a script were people can logon and schedule an appointment with their hair stylist. In turn I need the hair sytlist to be able to logon and manage their calander and appointments. Below are further details of what is needed.

1. Ability for seperate accounts for clients that need to set and appointment and for stylists and salons that want to take and manage appointments.
2. Need a calander that the stylist can manage. They should be able to show on this calander which days they are available, what times they are avaiable, and for what services they are avaialble to do during that time.
3. The client should be able to search for their stylist, acces their calander and put in their name and service they want on the date and time.
4. Need ability to charge a monthly fee to the stylist for this service. Should have the ability to offer it free for any length of time or charge per month. Also need to be able to offer a group payment in the event an entire salon wants to participate.
5. Need a messaging system where the client or the stylists can send am email to the other with any questions or comments.
6. Need the stylists to have a bio page that you access by clicking their username that they can give more details of their location, services, and pictures of their work.

Ultimately I tried to find a script that was already available that did all this but had no luck. If you offer a script like this already please place the cost of it as your bid and provide a demo link.

Thank you.

Develop Question & Answer Article App

June 26th, 2011 Comments off

We are creating a new type of Question/Answer article for our website called “Ask A Stylist”. When a user clicks the “Ask A Stylist” link in the top navigation (see top nav in comp), the most recent ask a stylist article will appear. It includes a question and answer as well as an thumbnail image slider bar and a place for people to submit new questions to the article author. There is also a slider bar to display previous articles. The thumbnail image slider bar code has already been developed and is in use on the existing articles. The thumbnail image slider bar can be adapted to work with this new article format. The current author changes after a few articles, so when the last article by an author appears, the new questions posted by users must be labeled as going to the new “Ask A Stylist” author because the old author has finished their last artcle.

Full detailed specs will be provided to qualified candidates. Check attachment for design comps.

1. Create “Ask A Stylist” Admin Page for Entering New Stories.

2. Create the display page for Ask A Stylist Page Article Display

Note: The website’s general template design is already created. There will be universal header, footer sidebar, css files, etc. that you will reuse. But the content area (in between header, footer and sidebar) is your responsibility for converting psd comps to the –> properly formatted XHTML.

3. Create an Ask A Stylist Previous Articles Slider for the display page.

4. Integrate the existing STS thumbnail image slider bar functionality in this new article format

5. Develop the “Ask A Question” functionality for the display page

6. Create a Thank You Page that displays upon completion of the Question Submission form.

7. Integration with Tagging System, Tag Cloud,

8. General Requirements
- This is a LINUX/APACHE/MYSQL/PHP environment
- Visual display and dimensions need to match the comps unless otherwise discussed.
- Must use clean, concise, tableless XHTML/CSS code that is cross-browser compatible (FF, Safari, IE and chrome)
- Needs to be able to run in a multi server environment so use relative URLs or detect host for all paths
- Development environment is on a test server that is not connected to production environment
- Develop code for multi-webserver environment (use relative links or detect the server if server name is needed which will be either test.domain.com server or www.domain.com)
- Provide full list of changes to code and database (preferably sql scripts) with instructions for migration to production.
- All php/mysql code needs to be clean, concise efficient code that uses best practices
- Create separate CSS files and functions to avoid overwriting any other ongoing development (OK to use existing css, database, header and footer includes in your code, but any new code related to your project add to a separate file)

Note: An On-time completion bonus will be applied for completed project submitted by the deadline of July 8th Midnight PST.

Salon Scheduling Application

November 28th, 2009 Comments off

I would like an appointment scheduling application for a Beauty Salon that allows customers, receptionist and systlists to schedule appointments on a calendar.
1) Permissions should be able to be set so customers can only update their appointments and see open slots, stylists can only change their appointments, and the receptionist can view each stylists schedule (one stylist per calendar column)with ability to scroll across page for additional sytlists.
2) Application should allow each stylist to customize their available times, prices for each service, and durations for each service (e.g., haircut 45 mins, color 60 mins, etc.)
3) Customer contact information should be stored so it can be automatically selected without retyping contact information.
4) Appointment reminders should be sent on a designated amount of time prior to their appointment and this should be customizable by each stylist (e.g., stylist A notifies customers 48hrs in advance, while stylist B notifies customers 24 hrs in advance.
5) Each stylists calendar should be able to be synchronized with their personal google calendar or iphone calendar.
6) View genbook.com for free trial of what I’m looking for.
