Modify Joomla Module : Mod_superfishmenu 2

February 8th, 2012 Comments off

I need someone to modify the Joomla module: mod_superfishmenu to use an existing different CSS stylesheet than what it uses by default. The existing CSS stylesheet has menu syle items in it already (but I think they are named differently) and it should not be changed at all unless it is a VERY simple change. The module and existing CSS stylesheet are attached to give you a better idea of what needs to be done. Module information can be found here: http://users.tpg.com.au/j_birch/plugins/superfis…

WordPress Stylesheet

October 15th, 2011 Comments off

I need help finalizing a design into css for a wordpress blog.

My particular trouble lies in the design element not allowing for a complete side div.

Please see the design in attached file. Here is the mess I currently have: http://www.basicjoy.com/locations/los-angeles/

The goal is to remove the center images and be able to stretch the container by adding a straight line after the decorative curve and before the stylized footer.

I’m fairly good with css but can’t figure out how to get the elements to lay down properly.

The second goal – and this can be quoted separately if you wish – is to take the header buttons (that are obvious in layout) and get them to work with the wordpress cascading header tool. The header has been built, but at this point is not displaying properly due to some erroneous css tinkering.

Once selected, you will be given access to wordpress login.

PMB – ASAP with any questions.

http://tiny.cc/our_html_web

Are you interested? Just leave a simple but personal message and bid. Let me know that you understood the job and please don’t ask me to change to another CMS: I will only use the one mentioned above :)

Video Game Website Theme

August 14th, 2011 Comments off

I need a website theme done for a World of Warcraft website, specifically for the in-game “Auction House”. By “theme”, I mean a CSS style sheet and/or a basic logo. NOT a WordPress, Joomla, etc. theme. Just a stylesheet, background, etc. I don’t want any fancy JS effects, drop down menus, etc. – just a CSS stylesheet and a simple HTML file showing its use.

Attached is a screenshot of a “theme” I tried to do myself. This is NOT what I want; I need something much better and easier on the eyes. Not too dark and not too light is what I’m looking for.

In terms of functionality, the website is meant to be visited once to several times a day (per user) and approximate stay time is about 1-5 minutes. So, the theme should at least be easy to read and simple.

For examples of some WoW websites, see:
http://us.battle.net/wow/en/ (Official WoW Site)
http://wowhead.com
http://wowpedia.org

THEME REQUIREMENTS

- Tables
- Headers (h1,h2,h3)
- Background
- Links

That’s it. Extremely simple. Just no copyrighted images, please.

IMPORTANT

Any bids for a full website will be ignored, all I need is a stylesheet/images. This would of course include the simple HTML page showing the stylesheet. As this is just a stylesheet, any excessively high bids will also be ignored. I am a web developer myself and know how much time goes into designing a simple CSS sheet, so please be truthful with your bids.

I also prefer working with a *creative* individual, not a company. Note the word “creative”, and not “able”. If you simply know how to use Photoshop/Illustrator and code CSS, please do not bid. I need someone creative. Companies with creative designers are welcome to bid though.

Sample work will help, but a quick mockup (no logo required) would help immensely in choosing your bid.

Thank you

Mobile Css Stylesheet For Site

June 28th, 2011 Comments off

I’m looking for someone to create either a separate style sheet for mobile devices or simple an “at” media set of styles to make my site mobile-friendly, while retaining the basic color scheme. Site is at gamemasterapps dot com. Forums are NOT part of the project, but the rest of the site is. In fact, I need to hide the forums link in the mobile design. I could do this myself, so I’m looking for cheap…

Oscommerce Design – Jquery Menu + Stylesheet.css 2

May 8th, 2011 Comments off

I need someone with osCommerce experience to do the following changes.

1. Install a new jQuery menu for my catalog menu. I currently have one installed but would like a flyout menu.

2. I want a new navigation menu (Home, My Account, etc.) I want it centered and whenever you hover your mouse over the link, the box changes color! I have something similar but its not centered and hovering over a link only changes the color of the text. I want the links to be separated by boxes.

3. Lastly, I want the boxes (Bestsellers, My Cart, etc) redesigned. It should match with the menus. It’s pretty much rectangular. I want it to have some shape. Like the corners being a half circle. Something very clean cut!

Stylesheet Not Loading In Ie7 And Small Issue In Ie8

May 5th, 2011 Comments off

This website is loading fine in most browsers except Internet Explorer.

http://www.smartlighttech.com

In IE8, only a small issue with a block missing on home page and one other page

But IE7 – huge issue – it doesnt appear to be loading stylesheet at all – so the page looks hideous. I am a developer, I am guessing this is a relatively quick fix but I don’t know how and the client is using IE7 and it needs to be changed asap.

Osc Css Editor And Switcher

January 28th, 2010 Comments off

I need to add the ability to edit the stylesheet.css file from the admin section. Also, I want to be able to add multiple .css files and be able to dynamically change it in admin. So we have stylesheet_yellow.css, stylesheet_blue.css, stylesheet_green.css. We will have a dropdown where I can select one of these stylesheets and save it as stylesheet.css so that it will be the stylesheet that will be made live. We will not rename the existing file (eg. stylesheet_blue.css), but only overwrite stylesheet.css. Then we can edit the stylesheet and there will be a preview of the client side below where I can see the changes made.

Jquery/ajax Forms X 2

August 5th, 2009 Comments off

Hello all,

I need someone who is very very good with web forms and who knows his/her way around strict xhtml and a css stylesheet.
I require 2 web forms to be created for me. They must be made in PHP and use JQuery and/or Ajax, for validation and use captcha images. When the code is placed into the page it must validate as Strict 1.0, and work and look the same in various browser versions on the page provided e.g. IE6/7/8 FF 1/2/3 etc – if you cannot do this please do not bid. The xhtml page and a stylesheet will be provided so you know the layout of the page; all presentation must be in the stylesheet.

First form is a normal contact form consisting of title (dropdown), full name, and email address; drop down selection for nature of contact, and a textbox/message area. Validation must be presented, i.e. I don’t want someone with an email address of fkdlshfs [-at-]fdsgffd.com – captcha image must be present as well.

Second form is a donation form consisting of title (dropdown), first name, surname, email address; drop down selection for nature of donation, comments field, again Jquery/Ajax must be used with captcha as well.

For both forms I would possibly like to make it as hard as possible for spammers or bots to use the forms as a spamming tool, so any advice to help prevent this would be greatly appreciated. Payment when the work has been carried out satisfactorily and work will be validated using W3C and checked with various browsers.

Budget around $50-$60 possibly more for the right person. Any questions, please feel free to ask in PMB. When bidding please show me links to previous work, as I would be interested to see different kinds.

NO TIME WASTERS PLEASE.

Convert Website Inline Styles

May 15th, 2009 Comments off

Hi,

I would like someone to convert these four pages **FROM** a referenced cascading stylesheet **TO** inline styles only:
http://automattic.com/
http://automattic.com/about/
http://automattic.com/projects/
http://automattic.com/contact/

The end result that I will expect upon successful completion of this project will be four HTML files that are self-contained, except for external references to graphics from http://s3.wordpress.com/ (graphics are the only external references that are allowed from the HTML). The formatting (layout, font sizes, colors, etc.) of the four pages when I open them from my harddrive will look exactly the same as the four URLs listed above.

Critical work to be done:
* All of the styles within the current stylesheet (http://s.wordpress.com/wp-content/themes/h4/global.css?m=1242076431b) will need to be inserted into tags within the HTML itself (within the tags of div, p, span, img or a).
* Any styles within the stylesheet that are not used should be discarded.
* You cannot use something like this:
<style type=”text/css”>
.code_highlight {
background-color: #C0C0C0;
}
</style>
Styles must be within the tags themselves.
* id=”" and class=”" should be removed and replaced within style=”".
* Do not use tables. Use only CSS inline.

In addition, any HTML that does NOT affect how the page displays should be removed. For example:
* All google analytics script should be removed.
* The line (<link rel=’openid.server’ href=’http://automattic.wordpress.com/?openidserver=1′ />) should be removed.

I’m looking for a very clean product. Please only bid if you know CSS.

Please PMB if you have any questions before bidding.

Thanks!

Apply Stylesheet To Cm

May 2nd, 2009 Comments off

I have a CSS template that I need applied to an opensource content management system. I have attached a picture of the website along with a proposed site map. I do not need content, just the basic sections created and available. The winner needs to be able to be available for long term commitment to modification of site. This initial build is expected to take no more than 1-3 days. Need something tangible to continue planning and development of final site. All development work will be become the sole property of the owners of the website.
