My home and search page will be mainly optimized for 3 main spanish terms: “casas rurales”, “turismo rural” and “alojamientos rurales”, it’s all about a directory rural accommodations and bread and breakfast accommodations on the country side.

We already have a PR4, we need a bigger PR and incoming links for those keywords, and other more specific keywords like “keyword + state”, but we’ll do this after on-site optimization has been done.

For now we need:
- Complete study of site, tags, metatags, titles, url structure, photo alt tags, headlines, sub-headlines, etc. All that makes the site be fully optimized on site
- We need to create google sitemaps for site. We have a google sitemaps generator, but we have problems on the creation of sitemaps due to ajax use on the search page I believe.
- Optimize the search page and how to do it, since it’s created with Ajax and we need guidelines on what to do so that google sees all accommodation’s listings we have. We need to know what to do and how so that my programmer does it. My coder needs to know how to exactly generate a full sitemap of site on coding so that xml sitemap is always generated correctly.
- Our search page and other pages did not inherit any PR from PR4 home page, so there must be a problem.

You’d talk to my programmer after study has been done, and he’d do all the changes on site. We don’t want you to use one of those tools that generates reports, we have a couple, we need the study of an expert on SEO.

After this, we’ll need other things like link exchange, directory submission and so on, but first thing is on-site seo.

I need to create a very nice looking and professional PDF based on existing design (one PDF doc) and existing content (just plain text in Word document). Please see attached sample. The sample must be used only as a sample, because it’s copyrighted, therefore the artwork on the bottom should be replaced with something and same things with all other elements. High res logos will be provided (in PSD or EPS).

The PDF must be easy to change (text content) so it can be reused for all other case studies. All source files and instructions how to change must be provided as deliverables.

I need an Excel expert to make a Spreadsheet that will calculate a daily study schedule containing 10-20 things to do per day. The study items on the Schedule are based on formulas that calculate percentages of how much time should be spent on each item.These percentages are user-defined and can be changed. A daily schedule for a 2-3 month period must be generated/created (basically, around 90 daily schedules must be generated with each daily schedule different based on the inputs). For each daily schedule, user inputs must be taken into account, such as shower breaks, breakfast breaks, lunch breaks, workout breaks, dinner breaks, other breaks including simple study breaks that should occur after every few hours of studying. It must also take into account vacation days that the user inputs and be able to calculate the accurate percentages of study time for each item factoring in all these breaks. To make things more complicated, some items should only be done once a week or once every two weeks, and the Schedule must be able to figure out how and when to allocate time for these items in the daily schedules. I have a basic schedule that does this which I will forward to you, but it must be significantly improved or a new better once created, especially to take into account the semi-weekly items.

I enclose the spreadsheet I am currently using. In the Study Plans worksheet, I have the formulas for dividing the study time. The study items on the Schedule are based on formulas that calculate percentages of how much time should be spent on each item. These percentages are user-defined and can be changed.

In the “Schedule” worksheet, take a look at the comment in the first row. This is a good example of how someone will give me their schedule, and then I need to plug it into the sheet. In the “Schedule” worksheet, I took this information and created a daily row to calculate how many hours the person could study versus how many hours were for breaks or personal matters. The Print Area on this workbook is what I send to the people as their study schedule. Right now I copy and paste rows until the schedule looks OK. I want something that is automatic. The hardest part for me is trying to fit the criteria in around the breaks, etc. For example, lunch should always be around 12PM. Also, there should be a 15 minute or so break after every 2 hours of studying. I don’t know how to automate the calculation of this and for the spreadsheet to be smart enough to put everything where it belongs.

Visual learners? Verbal learners? Hands-on learners? Help test whether our web-based software is effective, and how it varies depending on user’s learning styles. We have web-based software for browsing concept maps. You will help collect data for our study to compare how effectively subjects learn using a normal web page, and a web page using our software

We are looking for someone who is based at a campus or university and has ready access to 10 students/subjects to conduct a usability study. The study protocol and questions are written, all you need to do is spend approx 1-1.5 hours with each student, during which time they will use two web sites, and answer a set of questions. Part of the budget will reimburse subjects for their time.

This would be an easy and interesting project if you are interesting in technology and education, have access to a lot of English-speaking computer users. For example, if you are on a campus, and there is a computer lab in your library, this could be an easy project to conduct. The timeframe is approx 4 days, if you do 2-3 tests a day, it would take a few afternoons or evenings.
