I need a clone making of livestream.com. However instead of streaming the video to a flash player on the users profile, the user shall get an mp4 link so they can embed it into there own player or viewers can view on a desktop player instead. So there will be no front end profiles as there are on livestream. This will only have a admin/member area where members can manage there channels from and can get there link from. So basically it does the same thing as livestream.com apart from streaming to a flash player it gives a live streaming link instead.

The site I have is PHP based with a flash application installed. The site is set up so that multiple users use the same webpage at the same time in our flash application. Here are the problems we are experiencing with the site…

1. The Red5 recording starts 2-3 seconds too late (delayed). We’d like this to start immediately, if possible. You may need to check the configuration of Red5 on the server.
2. When the user records a “tick”, the app uses the first frame. We need it to use a later frame to catch users while they are talking.
3. The text box in the app cuts off the text…we need to change the maximum text allowed to 1000 characters.
4. Below the “ticker”, there is a text box with the same text as in the app. This box needs to hold it’s formatting as written. (Extra spaces, indents, and returns are removed…we don’t want them removed)
5. The title above the ticker needs to be formatted.
6. Due to the flash app, everytime Adobe has an update, the app stops working for some people…we need to fix this. It only seems to work on versions 10.??.?? for Adobe flash player. We may have to upload this version to our site for the users to download.

We need these problems worked out for the enjoyment of our users.

My client is the premier provider of Continuing Education in
a certain healthcare modality in Australia, and has excellent contacts and reputation amongst practitioners, students and teachers worldwide.
They have thus far specialised essentially in holding events live, but
thanks to my help, have been extending their offering to live
attendance via various videoconferencing platforms.

What we would like to do is build a new website whereby clients that
want to attend an event, can:

1. register and login
2. purchase their ticket (for in person or via videoconference)
3. can watch a streamed recording of the event afterwards, maybe for a
limited time, maybe indefinitely, but cannot download

There will be other features we would want to add too (eg. event related multiple choice exams available to event purchasers, forums, a blog, social networking integration), but these are peripheral to the above minimum requirement.

We would also need web design work, to build around an existing logo, that looks clean and professional and easy to navigate.

We would prefer a user friendly CMS like WordPress, but also don’t mind going with Joomla or Drupal if that is what is technically required.

I have an existing web application, created with PHP/MySQL, that connects to a streaming radio source from Live356.com. We have moved our service to Shoutcast and need to connect to a specific Shoutcast server instead of Live365.

Currently the connection is made using some Javascript code from Live365, included in the player page. Now we need to connect to the Shoutcast stream, and read the stream details from the new server. The MySQL database has nothing to do with the stream connection directly, but we take the song information from the XML provided by the streaming server, and we use that to do a look up for the same song in our database. With a successful lookup, we can then display our custom info for the currently playing track.

Please see the attached document for an example of the existing connection code and some screenshots of the application.

You’ll notice that the code is very well commented. Continuing that is a requirement of the project. It must be clearly commented, in quality English.

For a developer familiar with PHP and Shoutcast (or other streaming radio providers), this should be fairly easy. We are just replacing some code on an already functional application.

All source code will be made available to the winning bidder.

I am creating a website for streaming custom video content. This website will be similar in structure to the below site: http://www.theonion.com/video/

What I require is someone to work with my friend to implement her ideas on design. Logo and colour scheme has already been decided. The website needs the following properties in order of importance:

1. Linking to a third party database where we will store our propriety videos.

2. A set up where it is easy for none technical users to add new pages as more videos are added

3. A private members section where select people can easily upload videos

4. A ratings/comment system for videos (facebook or another third party system will suffice initially)

The first 3 are essential, the 4th not as important initially.

I need to see examples of previous work, and a rough list of what you need to complete the project, and if the times lines are too ambitious.
