Its going to be a guide application.

We are looking for a designer to assist us in making a new generic Ebay advertisement.

We have a sample layout for you to base the new layout on. (We do own the sample layout so there are no copyright issues there). Text will be implemented after we receive the design so you can keep the text from the sample design. We also will provide the color scheme and specific guidelines for the “feel” of the new layout.

We will be in direct contact with the designer to iron out the details so you must be available through Skype.

One of the main facets we lacked from our last designer was a strong design intuition. The winning designer will be provided with guidelines but we’d like to see a bit of creativeness in addition to what we provide. Think of it as us giving you 90% of the information and you being given the last 10% to impress us.

The other thing we were lacking and need is a designer who can go out and find his own photographs that ARE COPYRIGHT COMPLIANT after being given guidelines. Sample guidelines would be “At the top of the advertisement, I need a sharp dressed professional blond woman. Preferably with green or blue eyes.” If under those guidelines, the best picture you find is one that the copyright can be purchased for, we’d be happy to discuss that in person.

In conclusion, we are looking for a designer, not just someone who knows how to put in code. Communication will be imperative.

For this first advertisement, we’d like it to get done in 2 days or less. If our guidelines are met in a prompt fashion, there may be future opportunities for more work but only in compliance with Scriptlance guidelines and listed as separate projects.
