Diabetic City

April 20th, 2011 Comments off

We have informational word documents that are divided into “Steps”, such as steps 1-10 in a “diabetic academy” format. Users login and go through each step to complete the diabetic academy and granted access into other parts of the members area.

These steps are currently in word documents. One step has already been converted into simple PHP with previous and next links. There are more modifications that need to be done with step one (just simple “design” changes that make each page look uniform, etc)– these changes will need to be created with all the other steps and can be done while creating the steps.

These PHP documents that parse HTML code are “content” only, and will need to be easily accessible to be placed into a design. I have a simple example of what I’m talking about attached, with an index.php and step1.php — how the index calls in the step 1 based on GET variables. I have not setup the actual template around the step1, however you should be able to see what I’m talking about.

We need each of these steps ported into a web-format. The steps have been attached. The word document’s styles need to be ported as well (colors, text styling, etc)– only exceptions would be to make sure web-safe fonts only are used.

Flash Banner Development

October 16th, 2009 Comments off

This project is for those who are very highly innovative, creative and good at flash and banner design. The timeline is very urgent and we will need them immediately

Requirement is pretty simple. We have a series of 3 steps and each step needs to be represented with a picture – all in a single flash file.

Step-1: Select Project
Step-2: Provide Information
Step-3: Pay Online

The flash file when invoked, must pictorially and textually represent the above 3 steps as the user sees. The objective of the flash banner is to let the user understand the 3 steps as he sees the flash banner.

You will need to choose, procure or use royalty free and legally valid licenses of images for this project with necessary animation or rotation or effects for this flash design. The flash design must be very creative and of high quality.

The texts that are provided in the steps (“select project”, “provide information” and “pay online”) are rough texts. The exact texts will be provided once we decide the bid winner.

We will need 2 banners – one in size 160×500 px and one in 500×100 px

There are multiple such requests coming up next. So we request those who bid reasonably and can work with us for a long time to bid for this. Quality is of utmost importance.

You should be flexible enough to provide multiple samples.

Power Point Presentation Compi

August 20th, 2009 Comments off

I need a simple desktop application to work with Power Point and Excel.

Here are the main features:

The software needs to be able to compile a power point presentation from a variety of available power point slides that are saved as individual files. The software must have built in capabilities for the user to tell the program ahead of time which file to put into which location. The program must also have the ability to compile a corresponding excel price list from the slides that were picked and place them in the correct order. The program must have an administrative log in section that allows the administrator to make changes to the program and make changes.

Here is specifically how the program must operate …

Step 1: The user will input details about who the power point presentation will be given to such as the name of the Customer, the date of the presentation, and the name of the buyer or buyers that the presentation is given to. Also during this step the user will define the master file location where the slides that will be identified in the following steps will be located.

Step 2: The user will define the order in which the slides will be presented. They will do this by placing a number from 1 to 11 in a box next to the name of the segment. Each number will be used only once. The program must have logic built in so that if the user misses a number it will not let them move to the next step until at least one segment is chosen. The user may leave up to ten of the boxes un-checked but must choose at least one segment.

Step 3 through Step 14:

For each segment that the user chose in Step 2 another step will appear. One these steps the user will pick the individual items that they wish to have populated in the presentation. They must choose at least one item for each segment that appears. A segment or step will only appear if it was chosen in step number 2.

Final Step

During the final step the user will choose which type of presentation they want the program to create. They can pick as many as they want, but must choose at least one. Their choice are: Power Point Presentation, New Item Form, Show Form.

Behind the scences the program will compile the power point presentation as follows:

Using the data that the user inputed into step 1 the program will open up Power Point on the users desktop and will pick a template that I will supply. It will populate the information supplied into that template.

The program then will move to step 2 and will pick a slide for each item that was selected copy and paste it into the presentation and put it into the proper order. It will know which file to choose because in step 1 the user told the program the master file to search. Each item chosen in step 2 will have as their file extention name the same name as the user sees on their screen.

The program than will move to steps 3 through 14 as needed. In these steps the program will open up the individual item presentations and place them under the correct section. It will know to do this because each item will have the same file extention as the name shown on the screen.

The program than moves to the final step. Behind the scenes it will review the selections made in the previous steps and compile excel spreadsheets using a pre-loaded spreadsheet with only the items that were marked in the previous sections.

The attached drawings explain the program in further detail.

The admin section should allow the user to add and delete items and make other changes to the program.

Zoomify Mosaic-php/flash Guru

PHP/FLASH GURU REQUIRED

So my other developer has gone back to medical school and has abandoned my project -. I need someone to pick up from where he has left off – he has completed most of the project but has stopped right at the most critical point!

The entire back end programming I think is done with PHP (using the SMARTY template system). See if you are able to pick up this project from where he has left off and let me know how much payment you would like to complete this project – I have had a range of bids from 1000 to 2000 since the start of posting these projects on scriptlance – the developer has put a lot of work into it already but there is still a lot of debugging, documentation and finishing off the final steps so I would probably be willing to pay someone around $1000 – $1400 for a good finishing job on this.

This is a pretty technical project requiring excellent PHP skills and flash integration as well as the ability to pickup on functionality/API of programs (Mazaika and Zoomify) so please take a good look and see if you have the skills necessary to complete this and give me your honest opinion of whether you can do it.

Below is what has been done and where we are so far – If you are interested and feel confident that you can do it then I will work out a detailed requirement sheet for your approval:

*Original project was described here: http://www.scriptlance.com/projects/1215560627.shtml
**This is the repost of the project: http://www.scriptlance.com/projects/1219877553.shtml and has been worked on ever since by the developer who has just quit.
***PLEASE READ!!! A couple of months back I was ready to cancel the project on the above developer as he was taking so long to get anything done so I created another project: http://www.scriptlance.com/projects/1233079981.shtml i got a few good developers which I was going to pass this onto but the original developer said he was still continuing to work on it. These are basically the same requirements we still have SO PLEASE READ!!!

Xml Interface To My Wow Guide

April 13th, 2009 Comments off

Hello,

I have a guide to the online game world of warcraft. I would like to make an in Game mod that one will be able to load a certain set of steps in it. So, the in game mod will not be pre-loaded with my guide steps. Instead, it should be something like a “Guide Loader” in-game mod and when a user loads (or replace a file, or copy/paste) sections from a text file (that will have the steps of my guide or any other guide (written in a special format), the guide steps will show in the in-game mod. If not steps are loaded, then the mod will just show an empty graphical interface inside the game.

I am looking for someone who has knowledge in XML and LUA to make a functional interface for the guide. I will be the one who will make the guide text file (in the form of steps) that can be loaded into that “Guide Loader” Mod (but you have to tell me the format i need to write the steps in so that the guide loader will be able to take them.

I prefer if you have knowledge of the game itself. The game makers provide an Art package that has frames, borders, images from the spirit of the game, that you use to make the interface but i prefer if you can make your own graphics (if this is technically possible). You can download it from here:

http://www.wowwiki.com/User_interface_customization_guide

The link above also has info on how to proceed to do it.

I have seen others making almost the same thing i am looking for but they do make their mod preloaded with their guide steps (which i do NOT want). I can provide you with an exact copy of their product that i am looking for something similar to it (may be not the same exact graphics, but the same exact function is needed). They use ACE as a library for scripting, and the kit downloaded from the link above for graphics.

The interface should have the features below:

1. A place for my logo (i will provide the logo picture)

2. A place for a title

3. A place for a small title graphic

4. A place to close the window

5. A function in LUA script file to put the interface on (like a command in the game window)

6. A place to minimize the interface window and replace it with a smaller version of the interface.

When the guide steps are loaded:

7. A selection area where one can select the section of the guide to be loaded

8. A big area where the section selected above will be loaded.

9. A function to detect the level of the player and load the corresponding part of the section of the guide

10. A function to detect if a step is completed by the player or not

11. A place for “Options”.. when clicked, the player has the ability to setup the interface (like opacity, size…)

13. A place that clearly states that this in-game mod guide loader is a Free mod.

I will plug in the guide sections myself in the form of steps but you need to tell me where to paste them in the files you make for me or how to do it instead of copy/paste (like replace this file in the guide loader mod with the file that has my guide steps).

In your bid, please let me know what things you can do, total price for the whole project and total time. I will also be happy to email you the interface mod i am looking to do something similar to it.

Thanks

Adobe Illustrator Script

March 16th, 2009 No comments

I am looking to hire a developer on a freelance basis to write a batch processing script (VB Script or Javascript) to automate common tasks with Adobe Illustrator and a basic Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.

The script would include the following steps to perform the tasks needed:

1. Import words and phrases from a basic Microsoft Excel spreadsheet (or tab delimited txt file) and place them individually into a predefined text box in Adobe Illustrator. Each word or phase (cell) would be imported into the text box on a individual basis and then move on to the next steps to complete the automated process. This would be repeated as a batch process until all of the selected words from the spreadsheet were complete.

2. Depending on the size word or phrase, the font size would automatically change size and center to fit optimally in the predefined text box.

3. The text would then be exported as a .200 resolution .PNG file in five different predefined background colors. Text colors would always be white except with a white background (in which the text color would be black).

4. Each file would have a unique name to identify the files which should consist of the words and phrases from the cell being used in the excel file plus the color of the background.

*See attached diagram showing the sequence of steps.
