There also will be a chat box, where you can chat. Also we have sponsors, so you`ll have to put on the ads. and images with lightbox, and stuff. So it should really be user interactive and should be designed really nicely. Also the website should be designed from scratch. It`s a very easy project, so plz keep the bids low. Thanks

Use Software To Rip Inet Radio

March 3rd, 2010 Comments off

This is kind of an easy project. All you need to do is find free software that will allow me to simultaneously listen to and rip (save to an audio file) a certain radio station. You don’t need to write your own software to do this – just find existing free software that can do what I want with this radio station. Test thoroughly first – because I will test it and if it doesn’t – bad stuff will happen :)

This is the radio station I wanna save:

http://www.di.fm/wma/classictrance.asx

The quality of it is “40k”.

Quality Flash Projects

September 7th, 2009 Comments off

FLASH GENERAL
I am looking for an ongoing relationship with a dependable Flash designer. Although these first jobs won’t require it, you need to demonstrate your ability with ActionScript because future jobs certainly will. Nevertheless, the most essential requisite is your design ability and ability to work with “the basics” of Flash. You will also be working with my programmer so that we can make our sites search-engine friendly. We will be integrating sound/music/sound effects and movies (shockwave) in pretty much all our Flash sites, including the two below. I have included a couple of job descriptions for clients that need to be built immediately, but this is just the beginning. There will be a continual stream of work for you. Indeed, this could quickly become a full-time position. Also, please tell me your blood type. Like the Japanese government and large corporations, I hire according to blood type.

* You will get a lot of input from me. My background is marketing, and I am very particular on how I want my clients represented.
* The winning bid will be a person with an excellent track record and longevity (minimum a year) here at ScriptLance. Don’t even bother applying if you don’t have that qualification.
* The winning bid will also be a person with excellent skills in HTML and XML.
* All bids that simply state “I can do the job” and “see my resume” will be deleted without further consideration. Either take the time to intelligently bid out the work and explain explicitly why I should hire you or move on and don’t waste my time. That is not to say that I don’t want to see your resume…I do.
* Your money will be put in escrow at the beginning of each job: never a worry about having to wait to get paid.
* Feel free to comment on any elements of the jobs below that seem unrealistic. PLEASE DETAIL WHICH ELEMENTS REQUIRE ACTIONSCRIPT OR ARE OTHERWISE TIME-INTENSIVE.
* All images will be provided to you.

ALL THE FOLLOWING JOBS WILL BE AWARDED TO THE WINNING BIDDER!

FIRST JOB
The first job is for a radio station. Actually, there are three station all with the same basic format. The target demographic/psychographic is age 25+ “Caribbean island” natives. The format is calypso and local talk. Calypso uses steel drums and is old-time Caribbean music. I have included below a number of pictures for you to get a feel for the genre. Here are the elements that need to be included in the Flash movie:

* The intro will consist of graphical musical notes “tweening in” on a music bar (that will jump around to the beat of the background calypso music) while the main page loads.
* The main page will be an image of an antique radio. I will provide you the radio in an Illustrator *.ai (vector) file.
* When one mouses over the radio’s dial, a magifying glass will appear that will simultaneously enlarge the numbers on the dial and drag the dial’s needle.
* As the needle gets close to one of the three radio signals of these stations, it will jump to that signal, a sound effect will sound, the radio will jump a bit, change colors briefly (as if it were blushing) and information about the radio station (call letters and number position on the dial) will display as a balloon slowly rising that bursts above the radio with a pop and the call letters and numbers stay on the screen until another station is selected.
* There will be several buttons below the dial for navigation. The content of these buttons will change depending on the radio station selected. There will only be about 5 pages per site.

SECOND JOB
The second job is for a perfumery. The target demographic/psychographic is women aged 25-54, both caucasian, black and hispanic. This site will render in two languages, Spanish and English, although that will probably only concern the translator and programmer, not you (you may have to embed two different sets of shockwave movies and sound bytes).

* The intro will consist of a bottle of perfume that revolves as it bobs up and down in a wave of water that changes in the varying colors of the rainbow. (This change will be echoed in the atmosphere, which will be nothing but a less intense hue of the former.) It’s brand name changes as it faces the screen in its revolutions. Once the main page has loaded, the bottle rises up and gives a squirt of perfume that turns into the name of the store which is softly spoken (sound byte), then the intro dissolves into the main page.
* The main page will be a flowery meadow with a slow-rising hill in the background, a few of the flowers waving slightly in the breeze, the sun rising to the side of the hill slightly sparkling, butterflies and small birds flying past, all framed in vines. A shopping cart will be added to this site, although, again, that won’t involve you so much.

THIRD JOB
The third job is for a furniture store. The target demographic/psychographic split between homeowners and business people (office furniture, commercial appliances). Those most influential in the homeowner purchase are women, whereas the business people are heavily skewed toward the males, so the color themes, textures, etc. will have to be sexually neutral. Both are aged 35-54, upper-middle income.

* The intro will be photos of different elements of Charlie Chaplin’s attire: hat, gloves, cane. Then a still photo of an actor playing Chaplin will rise on the screen, zoom and pan out to the left, then the client logo will appear to the right and Chaplin, now moving, will lean up against the logo, which will sway to the right as Chaplin, recovering, spins around in astonishment. This will dissolve and the client’s name will come up with a sound byte of his slogan.
* At the top of every page from here on in, there will be a nav bar that will have all the nav elements including the various departments mentioned below. This nav bar will be similar to http://www.2advanced.com/.
* The main page will be exactly like Macs display photos in a folder of the same, moving from one to the next as one moves the mouse across, except that we will have a moving image of Chaplin between the images on the right and the displayed image. This effect is somewhat similar to http://www.sectionseven.com/, but I prefer the Macintosh style. The photos will be the various departments.
* When one clicks on a photo/department, then on the left will be a spokesperson (shockwave movie) for the furniture store and the scrolling of various images of furniture on the right, exactly similar to the Macintosh effect described above.

Shoutcast Search – Api

July 29th, 2009 Comments off

Using Shoutcasts API, I need a script that allows a user to SEARCH for a radio station, preview the station (listen to it) then, upon clicking some button, the script is to return the IP address of the radio station in a textarea box.

Sample mockup:

Keep it as simple as possible. I’m just looking for an easy way to get the IP address from Shoutcast radio stations.

I’m not sure what else to ask here, so feel free to ask me questions.

Thanks!

Bus Ticket Reservation Search

July 27th, 2009 Comments off

I want to make a search script for bus reservation system. The script is over including the database design. A seperate search script is needed with following things. I will provide only tables which are required for this script :-

1. A travel company has multiple buses.
2. A bus has stations with price column from that station to final destination.
3. there should be 2 search boxes. 1 for user boarding station and another for user arrival station.
4. when the user fill both, all the required buses going/ passing/ starting from that station and ending at the user station destination should be displayed of all travel companies on that boarding day of that station.
5. when user specify date, the day should be retrieved. every station has day on which the bus arrive at the station out of seven days.
6. when user select one company bus you have to design a table of your own to take booking, and there should be no duplicate booking. payment should go to paypal email of the travel company and email sent to admin.

thats all.

write me for more details. the script is very simple.

Radio Iphone App – 1 Station

Please let me know if you need more information, and send links to working iPhone apps that you have developed.

US based developers only – PMB details of how you would accomplish the project AND the name of the winning Stanley Cup playoffs team from the 2007-2008 season so I know you actually read this bid.

Canned responses will be deleted.

Simple Job Assignment Script

July 5th, 2009 Comments off

I have been playing around with this for a few hours now, and cannot seem to figure out an easy way to do it.

I need a script which assigns people to jobs (in a simple table).

user input:
- the script has a checklist with jobs that may be turned on or off
- the script has 60 numbered fields which can be filled in with names

Categories with job listings…
C: Herps
J: Tortoise
J: Herp Station
J: Snake
J: Box Turtles
J: Aquatic Turtle
J: Salamander Station
J: Newt/Frog at Wetland
J: Savanna
C: Fuzzy
J: Chinchilla
J: Ferret
J: Hedgehog
J: Rabbit
J: Armadillo/Opossum
C: Birds/Other
J: Owl
J: Rainforest Station
J: Returning NT Station
J: Skulls
J: Hawk Talk
J: Other

There are THREE (3) shifts: First, Second, and Third. Each job needs a minimum of two people assigned to it for each shift. If there are enough people, jobs can randomly be assigned a third person (after all jobs have been assigned two).

Every person should work with a different partner (or partners) for each of their three shifts (if possible).

Every person should work a different category job (Herp, Fuzzy, Birds/Other) for each of their three shifts (if possible).

If all goes well, the script will output a table that has the above requirements with the jobs listed as rows and the shifts listed as columns with two (or three) names in each inner cell.

For an experienced programmer, this should be a snap. I’m not experienced though, so this would keep me stumped for hours.

Use the PMB to ask me questions. First person to post a demo of the script hosted on their server will be paid (working, of course).

Text-only table is fine – just be sure the borders are 1px.

I have a website hosted at www.hosting24.com and I have SAM Broadcaster, but I am having trouble installing Icecast on the server. I want to stream mp3 files from my pc to the server so i can use my websites radio feature to let users listen to the streaming mp3 files. I just need a simple icecast setup or an alternative that works with streaming mp3 files. Should be fairly simple for anyone that has done this before.
